So before I begin with the story, I just want to give a heads up about a few things, the most important one being the list of franchises that will have at least some characters in this story. Of course, some of them will have many characters as well as a large amount of importance in the plot (while some of the characters will have certain parts of who they are somewhat changed to adapt with the story), while others will only have a few characters and/or plot points in the story.

The list includes:

- One Piece (duh)

- Fairy Tail (also kind of a duh, and it is the most "important" franchise in this crossover)

- Pirate101 (honestly, given how similar One Piece and this game are, I'm kind of surprised there aren't more crossovers between the 2)

- Pirate101 is definitely one of the more important franchises in this story for various reasons

- Also, there might be a few things later in the story related to Wizard101, Pirate101's sister game, but they will not appear for a while and are not as obvious as the Pirate101 stuff

- Team Fortress 2

- Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance

- Edens Zero

- Fist of the North Star (and aside from canon characters being in the story, there will be one OC in the story as well, but both she and the canon characters won't appear until later, and before the timeskip she's basically a side character anyways)

- Akame ga Kill (once again, this won't appear until probably well into the post-timeskip time period, I'm talking right before the Wano Arc (aside from one thing at the Battle of Marineford)

Don't worry, I promise that none of this will change the overall structure of the story that much. The elements will mostly be the same in terms of their "spirit", but things will change from canon throughout the story to varying extents.

Also, there will be more than a few romances in this story. Actually, there will be a lot of them in this story, both canon and otherwise (you can thank the Fairy Tail influence for that).

Also, I will NOT be putting each and every Fairy Tail member on the Straw Hat crew, only about, say, 12-18 of them. Too many would take away from the story and the significance of each Straw Hat member. Only the ones I deem to contribute the most to the crew and story (and are the most interesting) will be on the crew, so sorry to the fans of the FT members that aren't in the crew.

In terms of power, due to the pre-timeskip period taking place over the course of anywhere between 1-3 years (mostly due to there being quite a few more arcs than canon and clearer statements on how much time is passed during an arc compared to canon), as well as the Straw Hats fighting far more opponents than in canon (not to mention training a lot more in their free time), the Straw Hats by the end of the pre-timeskip period will be about as strong as their Fishman Island counterparts, with the FT characters being at the same level. Will they still need a 2-year timeskip to become stronger? Maybe or maybe not, but they'll do it anyways, which means that they're going to be BEASTS by the end of the timeskip compared to canon.

Lastly, since the first arc of the story is the exact same as canon (right up to Zoro joining Luffy's crew), I will be skipping over the entire Romance Dawn arc, and the first chapter will take place right after that but before the Buggy Arc.

If that is a problem, sorry.

Lastly, parts of the story will take some inspiration from two of the best OP fanfictions I've ever read: "This Bites", which can be read on this site, AO3, or Spacebattles, and the story "The Dragon that will Pierce the Heavens", which can be found on AO3. Lucy's backstory in my story will be based a lot on stuff from the latter.
