No, I do not own any of the existing characters in any existing work of fiction at all. I only own my story, my ideas and the characters created for "The tales between worlds: Into the multiverses and beyond" project.
By the way, spoilers from included and/or represented works abound. Please read this fiction carefully.
A man is wandering between the worlds. His name is David Martinez. An edgerunner from Night City, he's a cyberpunk known for his humanity (in term of personality) and his very high natural tolerance towards cybernetics.
Comes the universe of Kingdom Hearts, with many connected worlds.
Note: In the Universe of Kingdom Hearts, also called the World, there are many worlds that fall into certain realms. All of these realms are on their own plane of existence.
A while later, he arrived at the universe of Kingdom Hearts and landed in The World That Never Was. Now in the same place as Organization XIII used to be in, David traversed around the whole thing. However, he met a powerful, pretty big Heartless.
"Like I give a shit." *activates Sandevistan*
David dodges the attacks the Heartless and used his cyberarms inherited from Maine to shoot the Heartless. He actually managed to destroy the Heartless, but as he deactivates Sandevistan, he encountered another Heartless.
"Duh." David then shoots the Heartless, eventually destroying it.
Then David tucked all down and continued traversing.
A while later, Sora is wielding a Keyblade. He's watching the Sideways Rift that appeared on top of The World That Never Was. Then, Sora saw David walking away. Sora approach David with the Keyblade.
"Who're you?" David noticed Sora. "I thought I'm done with those shady creatures!"
"I'm Sora, nice to meet you!" Sora greeted David.
"David Martinez from Santo." David introduces himself. "Edgerunner from Night City."
"I don't know your world." Sora replied.
David then explained everything happened in his perspective from since his mother died in his original life, all the way until when he just met Sora.
"You're a criminal because of an accident?" Sora asked.
"It's a long story." David responded. "Also, nice key you've got."
"Keyblade." Sora corrected David. He then swings his Keyblade for the latter to see.
"For me, it's the cybernetics." David then uses Sandevistan to go around Sora, then activated his cannon to demonstrate its power.
"Whoa!" Sora is amazed with David's capabilities.
"We're gonna go find the oddities and recruit some people." David exclaimed. "Let's join forces!"
Then Sora and David shakes hands, agreeing to work together. Sora in turn brought David to various worlds he has gone, showcasing some parts of his adventures.
"Nice to meet ya, chooms!" David complimented. Sora smiled.
Until an army of Heartless interrupted both.
"I'm ready." David activates Sandevistan, and went behind the Heartless.
Sora went for combos and used elemental spells as well. David got hit by a Thundaga, but it over-charged his cybernetics with lightning, so David used the cannon towards a single Heartless just physically crippled by Sora. The resulting projectile is charged with thunder, easily destroying the Heartless with the Thundaga effect.
"Whoa, I can't believe I can absorb your spell!" David is surprised at the charge.
"Sure thing!" Sora then proceeded to fire Blizzaga into David, who manages to absorb the spell. Shooting the Blizzaga-charged cannon in his arm caused a Heartless to be frozen, allowing Sora to finish it off with Sonic Blade.

"How about fire?" David asked.
Sora quickly uses Firaga onto David, who absorbing the spell.
"Take this!" David then fired his cannon with Firaga, briefly turning it into a powerful flamethrower, burning the remaining Heartless.
"Good work, mister!" Sora congratulates David.
"I didn't know I could possibly be compatible with various magic spells as well." David said. "The thing is... I'm tired."
So Sora and David both went to Mickey Mouse's Clubhouse.
"This is the Clubhouse." Sora introduced. "It's Mickey's personal place."
"I don't know who that Mickey is." David turns out to have no idea who Mickey Mouse is.
"Mickey Mouse? Oh, I know him quite a lot." Sora responded. "He's the king of the Castle."
David then took out the smartphone, which currently takes in form of Google Pixel 7.
"Hey Google, who's Mickey Mouse?"
Mickey Mouse is an animated cartoon character co-created in 1928 by Walt Disney and Ub Iwerks. The longtime mascot of The Walt Disney Company, Mickey is an anthropomorphic mouse who typically wears red shorts, large yellow shoes, and white gloves.
"Whoa, I see!" David is surprised to see the answers. "This phone is magical."
Them David turns the phone into iPhone 14 Pro.
"What's this?" Sora asked.
"A smartphone made by Chizuru Urashima." David replied. "You definitely haven't met her yet."
"King Mickey and Queen Minnie own the Clubhouse as well as the Castle." Sora noted. "As for me, Donald Duck and Goofy is my allies."
And then, Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, Goofy, Pluto and the screen named Toodles went out through the "Yellow Shoe" door.
"Sora! And wait..." Mickey Mouse spotted Sora and David. "Who're you?"
"You're Sora's friends?" David asked. "I'm David Martinez from Santo. Edgerunner from Night City."
"Yes, we're!" Goofy confirmed. "But you're!?"
"Apparently, a cyber... Uh, I don't really know him that much." Sora nervously responded.
"Cyberpunk. Those who dreams with cybernetics." David noted Sora.
"By the way, what's wrong, guys?" Sora asked Mickey Mouse and friends.
"Oh my goodness!" Minnie responded. "A stranger who wants to get rid of us and this Clubhouse!"
A man with red iris with heterochromia for eyes, spiky white hair, wearing red long jacket broke the door on "Yellow Shoe", and is approaching Mickey Mouse and friends... (and David.) He's seen carrying the legendary x-blade.
Note: Theχ-blade(χブレード)is a legendary weapon utilized to unlock and controlKingdom Hearts, coexisting alongside of it as the only means of opening it. It is the inspiration for all human-wroughtKeyblades, all of which are imperfectly created after its image. It is comprised of 20 magical pieces: 7 of light, 13 of darkness.
"Who's this?" Sora shocked.
"Who're you!?" David asked the man.
"Seven light, thirteen darkness..." The man observing the x-blade. "This legendary Keyblade can open Kingdom Hearts-"
"Stop it! Don't mess with Kingdom Hearts!" Donald Duck shouted.
"Who are you!?" David angrily asked. "And what's this!?"
"I'm Rigna the Bloodrunner." The man introduced himself. "The dreaded lord of Edge-Blaze!"
"x-blade..." Sora noticed that Rigna is wielding the x-blade. "How did you get that from?"
"I stole all parts of it. Seven light, thirteen darkness." Rigna explained. "Then, I recombined then all into this legendary Keyblade."
"This isn't funny!" Mickey Mouse responded. "χ-blade is there assume control of Kingdom Hearts to balance the light and darkness of the world in equilibrium!"
cringy laugh* "I get it." Rigna replied back. "I want to seize Kingdom Hearts and use both light and darkness against everything from you. Including you brats."
"Damn, do you get what it takes to wield this weirdly powerful Keyblade?" David asked Rigna.
"Actually, I do. I'm more than powerful enough to wield it." Rigna answered. "In fact, weapons like these are child's toy. I can casually dual-wield it alongside the sword of Olympus or even the Monado, no problem at all!"
"You treat x-blade like it's an ordinary weapon!?" Donald Duck is shocked at Rigna's response. "You have no real idea that this Keyblade could control and even decide the fate of Kingdom Hearts!"
"You're damn right, shitheads!" Rigna confirmed. "While this is the true ultimate Keyblade, the most powerful ever, this for me is but an typical sword."
Sora and Mickey unleashes their respective Keyblades.
"Toodles, warn everyone!" Mickey Mouse commanded Toodles.
However, Rigna quickly shot Toodles with a revolver, malfunctioning it.
"No!" Mickey Mouse and friends is horrified at Toodles falls down.
"What're you doing?" Sora then ran with the Keyblade, and started combating.
David activates Sandevistan and walk past Sora and towards Rigna, but...
activates Sandevistan* You have Sandevistan?" Rigna pointed it out. "I have Sandevistan too. Another rudimentary implant."
"What!? How?" David is shocked about Rigna. Then he remembers when he fails to land a proper hit against Adam Smasher while both were using Sandevistan.
"Looks just like the case of Adam Smasher..." David remembered.
"You're... David Martinez?" Rigna asked.
"How did you know!?" David responded.
"Empress Zero listed me your accomplishments." Rigna explained. "She revealed that you've become a legend."
"I kinda notice that, but still..." David then shoots Rigna... Only for the latter to parry the projectiles.
Rigna then approached Sora and slashes him. Then Sandevistan deactivated and Sora is injured, and started bleeding.
"Ah!" Sora is hurt.
"Oh no!" Mickey Mouse isn't happy about it.
"Damn it!" David angrily responded.
Then David dodged a wide slash from Rigna. Sora stood up and used Blizzaga upon both Rigna and David.
"Don't move!" David shot Blizzaga towards Rigna. However, Rigna dodged it by using Sandevistan, and David activates it as well to go.
"What do you want to do once I wield this!?" Rigna tries to use x-blade again, but is punched in the face by David.
"I really hope you do not care." David deactivates Sandevistan.
"Pathetic excuses." Rigna, having been forced out into deactivating Sandevistan, tried to snatch the x-blade.
However, Mickey Mouse slashed Rigna, injuring him and giving David time to take the x-blade.
"Got it!" David takes the x-blade and brought it back to Sora.
"Fuck you, Mickey Mouse and friends!" Rigna tried to use Blue Grimoire to push Mickey Mouse out.
Mickey Mouse is pushed out, knocking both David and Sora at once. Donald Duck and Goofy then charged towards Rigna, but Rigna activated Sandevistan, knocked Donald Duck and Goofy altogether by just passing by, and then snatches the x-blade, and cleave it to the already malfunctioning Toodles, destroying it.
"Goodbye, motherfuckers!" Rigna deactivates Sandevistan and unleashes the x-blade.
"No!" Sora cried out. "But my friends make my heart strong! You have a great that's far too weak for your powers!"
"Hmph." Rigna shrugs Sora words off. "You weaklings only cares about friendship?"
"I'm gonna break the seal of Kingdom Hearts!" Rigna declared as he channels both light and darkness, as well as his Blue Grimoire.
Mickey Mouse and friends tried to approach Rigna, but is pushed out every time they're close. Not long after, the Kingdom Hearts is exposed directly through the rift above the Clubhouse, allowing Rigna to forcefully unseal the whole thing with all the powers channeled. Mickey Mouse and friends were forced to watch everything unfolds.
"Now, Kingdom Hearts will be in ruins..." Sora is sad. "Why would this man try to destroy Kingdom Hearts? We thought my powers..."
"Sorry, but your friendship can't even save any of you now!" Rigna counterargued Sora. "Your heart may be fucking strong, but I'm far stronger!"
"You kept saying very dark words," Daisy Duck pointed out Rigna's profanity.
"For now, we can only go back." David decided to escape. "We can't go through Rigna and the x-blade. Now that Rigna is using the x-blade, let's just go away."
"Sounds like there's no other way..." Mickey Mouse is disappointed.
Mickey Mouse and friends, alongside Sora and David, used the phone (iPhone 14 Pro, now with cracked glass) to create a portal, and went through it.
"You stupid cowards!" Rigna tried to make fun of Mickey Mouse and friends. "You can't even protect yourself anymore, let alone Kingdom Hearts? What a shame!"
The Kingdom Hearts is unsealed, and Rigna got to seize it all.
"Behold! The Kingdom Hearts is mine!" Rigna rejoiced. "For Empress Zero!!!"
Meanwhile...
At Shibuya-X...
The livestream, recently recovered by Haken Browning and Kaguya Nanbu, has been streamed to the public at large. Everyone there stopped and watched the incident. This included a few otherworlders.
"I can't believe it." The reploid named Zero watching the livestream. "X, how come the so-called Zero Point get to explode?"
"Actually, Zero Point has been reported to be a nexus core connecting the omniverse." The other reploid, X, explained. "Apparently, those creates rift that allows people from other worlds to visit that island."
"Looks like the island is no more." Ryu, a martial artist, commented. "Sound like an opportunity lost."
"I can't believe it..." Ken Masters, the other martial artist, commented. "No more Zero Point equals no more of this island."
"There's no more dimensional island to visit!." Asuka Kazama, yet another martial artist, is frustrated. While Jin Kazama facepalms.
"What the hell is this?" Akira Yuki, yet another martial artist (again) is confused. Bahn is not amused.
Ryo Hazuki, Demitri Maximoff, Dokugozu and Dokumezu, Chun-Li, Morrigan Aensland, Taizo Hori and Kyo Kusanagi ended up reporting to Shinra HQ.
Few hours later, several characters arrived at Shinra HQ, surprising Haken, Kaguya and Urashima all at once.
"You're here for the details?" Kaguya asked everyone.
"Very well..." Jin's father, Kazuya Mishima then explained the synopsis of the livestream people just saw.
"What's going on here?" Ichiban Kasuga questioned the whole thing.
"A man named Jones is dead, and the so-called Reality Tree has been burned." Kite the .hacker explained. "However, I saw something suspicious trying to save it..."
Note: .hack is pronounced as "dot-hack". Similarly, .hacker (players from MMORPG called "The World" with powers...) is pronounced "dot-hacker".
A handful of the characters recalled Kyuju Kyu and Byaku Shin.
"Wait... Embryo 101?" Haken is surprised they all remember them.
"Kyuju Kyu and then Byaku Shin is the product of Ouma's plan." Ryu explained. "Some of us had to beat it and save the worlds. Reiji and Xiaomu helped, too."
"I see..." Chizuru realized.
"So... They merged and sung the Song of Rifts?" Haken wondered. "Isn't that like the very thing Ouma tried to make happen!?"
"From what we've known about the livestream, they did it to extinguish the fire before it's too late." Strider Hiryu replied. "Alas, the so-called Zero Point, as well as the island, still exploded."
"Ummm... Doctor, you're the head of Shinra's Equipment Division, so what to do with the devices you've created?" Kaguya asked Chizuru.
"Dragonturtle Mk. II." Chizuru have an idea.
