'You have to go,' said Kingsley as he looked towards Emma. They were all sitting around the dining room table with Henry's book open on the top.
Emma gave him a sad smile. 'I don't want to leave you,' she explained, avoiding Henry's eyes. She wanted to go and find Regina. Ofcourseshe did, but she wouldn't leave her son again.
Kingsley shot her a smirk. 'Leave me? You wouldn't have to leave me; you think I'm going to stay here with these two?' he scoffed as he pointed to his mom and Neal. 'No way! If you and Hen are going, then I'm coming too.'
Henry grinned at his brother. He loved Kingsley, though they were very different. He was nerdy, creative and polite, and his twin was rough, laid back, and outspoken. Kingsley liked fighting, soccer, and cars, while he liked comics, chess, and reading. They both liked video games though, so at least they had that in common.
'If Kingsley and Henry are going, then I want to go as well,' said Lily as she looked pointedly at Emma. 'My mom is thereapparently, and I'd like to meet her.'
Emma let out a heavy sigh. 'Lil, I'm not sure that would be a good idea. Regina is...' She searched for a word to describe the love of her life that didn't make her sound like a psychotic sociopath because while Regina was soft and cuddly with her and Henry, Emma knew that she wouldn't exactly welcome Lily with open arms. 'She's very protective, especially with Henry. After all, she did raise him for ten years on her own and it's because of her that he's the person his is now.'
Lily looked towards her sons. 'Boys, could you give me and Emma a minute, please?' She asked. She knew exactly what Emma was thinking, and she wanted to put her right.
Both boys nodded as they got up from their chairs. The sooner they let the adults sort out the details, the sooner they could get to Storybrooke.
Once the boys were safely out ofearshot,Lily began to speak. 'Emma, you know I love Henry, right?' She asked gently. The blonde nodded, so she continued. 'I've loved getting to know him, but as much as it pains me to say it, I don't see him as my son, and I'm almost sure he doesn't see me as his mom either, I mean he's known me for nearly two years and he still calls me Lily. He had known you for two months before he called you Ma,' she chuckled. There was a hint of hurt in her tone, and Emma smiled at her sadly.
'I'm sorry,' said the blonde, not knowing what else to say. Lily was right. Henry had confided in her a few months ago that he didn't Lily see as his mother and he probably never would. Emma had been a bit shocked at the revelation but she had understood, after all she had felt the same about the Charming's, who she was probably going to have to see again if she went back to Storybrooke, well, that was if Regina hadn't already crushed Snow's heart.
Lily waved her off. 'It's okay, to be honest, I'm not really mother material. I love my kids, don't get me wrong, but I think if it wasn't for Neal, well, I probably wouldn't still have them. He's the one that parented them. I'm more like a cool, crazy aunt. You've seen how much they don't listen to me when I try to discipline them,' she laughed as Emma smirked. 'My point is, I'm not going to try to take the role of mother from Regina, and I can't imagine Henry would allow me to, either.'
Emma nodded. She had seen Lily with her kids and while she was good with Bella, she didn't really have that much of a strong connection with Kingsley, He didn't really speak to her that much, though Emma thought that might have been due to him just finding out about his other mother abs twin but Lily had told her that he had always been that way with her, ever since he was a baby, he was better with Neal but once Bella came along, he pulled away from him too.
'Okay, you can come with us,' she agreed before she shouted for the boys. They both came walking back into the living room, hope shining brightly in their eyes. She waited until they had both sat back down until she spoke. 'Tomorrow, we're going to Storybrooke,' she divulged with a blinding smile.
She was excited that she was going to get to see Regina again. She had missed her so much that sometimes it actually physically hurt her. She just hoped her baby girl still felt the same way about her.
Henry and Kingsley looked at each other with matching grins before they high-fived. 'Awesome,' they said in unison. It was odd how in sync they were sometimes, and it was something that still kind of freaked Emma out.
Henry couldn't wait to see his mom again, and Kingsley was just excited to meet some knights. His ma and brother had told them about Regina's dark knights. He had seen pictures of them in Henry's story book and he was fascinated by them.
Neal looked at Lily, wondering if she had forgotten he existed. He was aware that Emma was still upset with him about sending her to jail, and frankly, he didn't blame her, so he hadn't expected her to invite him along, but he had thought that his wife would at least offer. Not that he could go anyway, he wasn't comfortable with Bella missing that much school, and he couldn't imagine he'd be welcome in a place like Storybrooke, especially not with who his father was. He also didn't want to be surrounded by magic; he had come to this world to escape it after all, and he was happy for him and his daughter to be kept out of all things to do with fairy-tales.
'I'll stay here with Bella, she's still not really aware of the whole fairy-tale thing and I'd like to keep it that way, plus I can't leave my papa,' he said to his wife who nodded her agreement.
'I'm not going to stay long, maybe two weeks tops. I just want to meet my mom, and maybe learn a bit about where I came from,' she replied before she looked at Kingsley, who was laughing at something Emma had said. She moved closer to Neal so he could hear her next words. 'I don't think King will be coming back with me,' she whispered into his ear with a sad smile.
She had realised a few months back that when she and Neal decided to find their own apartment that her son wouldn't be going with them. Kingsley would never want to be away from Emma and Henry. He had bonded more with them over the past eighteen months than he ever had with her and Neal.
Growing up, Kingsley had never been one for affection. He would cry when she picked him up. He point blank refused to be breast fed. He would throw a tantrum if she tried to kiss or cuddle him. He had always been that way, right up until he met Emma and Henry. He let Emma give him hugs and kisses on his forehead or cheek before he went to bed. He'd cuddle his twin if Henry was upset, he'd even sometimes comfort Bella, but he would not under any circumstances be affectionate towards her or Neal.
Neal pulled her towards him and into a hug. 'I'm sorry, Lily. I'm sure he loves you, though. He's just always been a little difficult, hasn't he?'
Lily pulled back from her husband and nodded. 'We'll talk about it more later,' she said as she looked towards Emma, who was watching her curiously.
Once Emma had settled her two very excited boys down and finally got them into bed. She made her way back to the living room where Lily was sitting, playing on her phone. Neal had gone to work, but promised he would be back in time to see them off tomorrow.
She took a seat on the sofa next to her ex and pulled out her phone. She brought up her messaging app and proceeded to type out a text;
'Hey, baby girl. I'm not sure if you'll even get this message. We've missed you so much and we have a lot to tell you. Some of it will be a massive surprise, but I think you'll take it well. Hopefully, we'll get to see you tomorrow. We love you always '.
She hesitated as her finger hovered over the send button before she backed out of the app and let it save to her drafts. She wanted their arrival to be a surprise. It would be much more fun that way, and she wasn't even sure if Regina would have her old number.
She had done that numerous times over the past eighteen months, only ever managing to press send once and it was just a simple text of 'I love and miss you so much.' And it was mainly because she was drunk. She knew Regina wouldn't have gotten it; they didn't really have electricity in the Enchanted Forest, never mind phones, and she wasn't sure how the curse had worked and she also had no idea how they had managed to get back.
As far as she was aware, Regina would have lost her memories of Storybrooke, and Emma and Henry as soon as she had gotten back to the Enchanted Forest. The only thing she could think of was that she somehow remembered and had cast another curse to try to find them again. She supposed she'd find out for definite tomorrow when they got there.
'I'm going to head to bed. Henry wants to leave first thing tomorrow, him and King have already packed,' she chuckled as she got up from the sofa.
Lily looked up from her phone and smirked. 'They're going to be a nightmare on the drive there, aren't they?'
'Of course, but we'll just keep them off the sugar, and I'm sure it won't be too bad,' she smirked back before she made her way out of the room.
'Goodnight,' she heard Lily yell just before she made it into the hallway.
'Night, and don't forget to pack or I'll leave without you,' she yelled back as she made her way into her bedroom. Lily didn't reply, so she shut the door before she went into the bathroom to take a shower.
The next morning was hectic. The boys slept in, so breakfast was a rush of burnt toast and apple juice. Bella threw a massive tantrum when she found out she wasn't going with them, and Neal only managed to say a quick goodbye before he had to hurry her off to school.
They had gotten into the bug at exactly nine'o'clock and they were half way out of Boston before Lily remembered she had forgotten her bag, so they had to go back much to the frustration of Henry and Kingsley the latter who almost threw a tantrum of his own before his twin distracted him with his handheld games console by pretending, he couldn't do a level.
They had been driving for four hours now and they were about half an hour away from Storybrooke. Emma was starting to feel a bit nervous. What if Regina didn't want to be with her anymore? What if she had met someone else? It had been nearly two years, and she didn't have any memories of Emma while she was in the Enchanted Forest.
Henry was also feeling a bit jittery. His legs kept bouncing and he couldn't concentrate on his game for more than five seconds at a time. His mom must have remembered them if she ended back in Storybrooke, right? His book hadn't been very informative. There was just a picture of the welcome to Storybrooke sign and the words 'And so the stories continue.' underneath and as much as he had tried, he couldn't figure out what it meant.
He couldn't help but wonder if his mom even wanted to see him. What if she didn't like who he was now? He had changed a lot in the past eighteen months and he wasn't a little kid anymore. He was nearly thirteen now and almost the same height as Emma.
Kingsley watched as his brother became an anxious mess right in front of his eyes. 'Hey, Hen,' he said as he grabbed his twin's hand. 'it'll be okay. I'm going to be right there with you.'
Henry shot him a nervous smile as he squeezed his hand in thanks. 'You better be on your best behaviour, King. My mom is quite strict, especially about table manners,' he warned. He wanted his mom to like his twin, but he knew that Kingsley could sometimes be a bit too much to handle.
Kingsley rolled his eyes. His brother was such a goody two shoes sometimes. 'I promise, Hen, I'll be a perfect little angel. I mean, how could she not love this face? I'm adorable,' he joked as he pulled a funny face that made Henry let out a bark of laughter. 'Mission accomplished,' he thought to himself.
'Ma, there it is,' said Henry about fifteen minutes after as he pointed straight ahead to the welcome to Storybrooke sign.
Emma smiled at him through her rear-view mirror before she focused back on the road. 'Are you all ready?'she asked with a hint of excitement. She heard three chorused 'Yeses.' Before she pressed down on the gas pedal and flew over the town line.
She pulled over a second laterasher whole body felt like it was on fire. 'Fuck,' she moaned in pain as she dragged herself out of the car. Her stomach was rolling, and she felt like she was going to be sick.
Kingsley wasn't fairing much better. Hewas also groaning in pain, though it didn't seem as strong for him as it was for Emma. Henry hadn't felt anything and neither had Lily.
Emma had just made it to the edge of the woods to be sick when she suddenly felt fine again. Her body wasn't hurting anymore and her nausea had disappeared completely. 'How fucking odd,' she muttered to herself 'You can tell we're back in Storybrooke.'
'Hen, King, are you okay?' She questioned worriedly as she got back into the car.
'They're fine, King's pain only lasted for about thirty seconds,' answered Lily as she looked towards Emma. 'Any idea what caused it, because Hen and I never felt anything.'
Emma shook her head. 'No idea. It didn't happen when I came here last time or when me and Hen left. Regina might know though,' she replied as she re-started the car.
'It was weird. It felt like my whole body was electric,' explained Kingsley as Henry nodded distractedly. The latter had a theory, but he needed more evidence.
They pulled up outside the diner a few minutes later, and from what they had seen of the town so far, it looked exactly the same as it did when they left it almost two years ago.
Emma turned off the engine and turned to face her sons. 'I'll go in first, okay? Just in case. You know how unpredictable this town can be,' she said, more towards Henry than anyone else.
Henry pouted, but nodded his head. He wanted to see his mom now, but Emma was right: they didn't know what was going on here anymore and for all they knew, there could be a new villain.
'You wait here with the kids and don't talk to anyone, especially if Henry doesn't know them,' she instructed to Lily before she got out of the car.
She took a deep breath to calm her nerves before she moved towards the diner door. Ruby was going to flip when she saw her, and she really hoped Regina was in there too, but she could do without seeing Snow and Charming.
She was a little surprised when she walked through the door. It was filled with people and they all looked at her as they heard her enter, but went straight back to what they were doing a second later. 'Strange,' she thought as she moved further into the establishment.
She was expecting at least a bit of recognition. She was the Saviour, for fuck's sake, but apparently, they didn't care about that. She stopped moving as her eyes scanned the area before they landed on Ruby, who was standing behind the counter. She hadn't changed at all from the last time she had seen her and she felt a grin take over her features as she walked over to her.
'Hey, bet you never thought you'd see me again,' she teased as she took a seat in front of her friend.
Ruby looked up from where she had been playing on her phone and flashed her a flirtatious smile. 'Is that the best line you have?'
Emma chuckled. 'I mean, I kind of already have a girlfriend, as you well know, so yeah, I'm not looking to be burned alive,' she smirked before she looked around once more to see if she could spot Regina, but she couldn't.
Ruby's eyebrows knitted together before she eyed Emma carefully. 'I haven't seen you before in my life, and I certainly don't know your girlfriend. Trust me, I'd remember a pretty face like yours,' she flirted.
Emma's stomach dropped as her mouth opened in surprise. Oh God, Ruby didn't remember her, which meant they hadn't got their memories back yet or was the waitress just fucking with her. Knowing Ruby, it was probably the latter. 'Are you sure you don't remember me? I mean, we had a bit of fun back when I lived here.'
'Babe, I'm one hundred percent sure I've never seen you before, and you definitely didn't live here. This is a small town and I know everyone. Maybe you've come to the wrong place,' answered Ruby with a smirk.
Emma let out a heavy sigh. It seemed like Ruby really didn't remember her, so yeah, another curse it was. 'Okay, how about the mayor? Do you know where I can find her?' She inquired, with a hint of desperation in her green eyes.
'And why would you be looking for me?' came a smooth voice that she would recognise anywhere. It made her heart beat faster as butterflies flapped wildly in her stomach and her palms became sweaty. She spun around, desperate to see those deep brown eyes that she adored so much.
'Regina,' she breathed out as tears filled her eyes and a soft smile took over her face.
Regina looked at the woman in front of her curiously. How did she know her name? She was sure she had never seen her before. She would definitely remember a face that beautiful. She felt a tug in her heart as the woman gazed at her with the softest smile she had ever seen.
'I'm sorry, but I don't think we've met. How do you know who I am?' She inquired before she watched the blondes face turn from hopeful to devastated all in the space of a few seconds, and for some reason she also felt the feeling of sadness wash over her as her heart ached painfully in her chest.
Emma bit down on her lip to stop her tears from falling. Regina didn't remember her either, and it hurt so much more than she ever imagined. Henry was going to be absolutely heart broken. She opened her mouth to speak, only to snap it shut again as a man appeared beside them.
'Regina, babe. Have you ordered yet? Zaynah is getting fussy,' he said as he tried to shush the baby, who was crying loudly in his arms.
Regina turned away from Emma to face the man and the baby before she held out her arms. 'Come to Momma, little princess,' she cooed as she took her daughter from the man's arms.
Regina turned back to Emma, who she noticed looked like she would rather be anywhere else but where she was now. 'Maybe she hates babies,' she thought to herself.'So, what was it you were after?' She inquired politely.
Emma felt her legs buckle, and she grabbed onto the stool behind her to hold herself up. Regina had a baby and a boyfriend, or perhaps even a husband, and she had no idea who Emma was. She felt like someone had taken a knife and stabbed her repeatedly in the chest. God, she needed to get out of here or she was going to be sick.
'Um, nothing. It doesn't matter. I think I made a mistake,'she rushed out as she looked around for an escape.
'Oh,' said Regina as she rocked Zaynah in her arms. 'Are you-.'
'Mom,' shouted Henry as he came bolting through the diner door with Kingsley right behind him and made a beeline for Regina and Emma. He had seen them talking through the window.
'Em, I'm sorry I tried to stop them,'panted Lily, who came rushing in a second later.
Henry eventually made it to Emma and his mom. He opened his mouth to speak, but Emma shook her head, making him snap it closed again.
'You have a son?' Asked Regina as she eyed Henry curiously. He seemed familiar somehow, but she couldn't put her finger on why.
Henry's face fell at his mom's words, and he felt Kingsley grab his hand and squeeze softly as he whispered. 'It's okay Bro, we'll fix it.'
'Hen, this is Regina Mills, the mayor, and that's...' Emma gestured to the man standing beside his mom.
'I'm Robin, Robin Locksley.' He smiled, though it looked like it physically pained him to do so. 'I'm her fiancée, and this is our daughter, Zaynah.' He pointed to the little girl, who was now asleep in her stroller.
'Right, said Emma as she placed a hand on each of her boys' shoulders. 'Regina, Randy, and Zaynah. Well this is Henry.' She squeezed his shoulder. 'And this is Kingsley,' she finished with a tight smile.
'Robin, my name is Robin,' said the man snottily as he glowered at her. He already hated this woman, and he didn't like the way she was looking at his Regina.
'Oh, I'm ever so sorry. I was never a fan of birds,'snarkedEmma, not sounding sorry at all, which made Kingsley snort and Henry stifle a giggle. She could have also sworn she saw Regina's lips twitch, but it was gone so fast that she couldn't be sure.
Regina watched in amusement for a few seconds as Robin and the cocky blonde continued to stare each other down before she decided to intervene. 'How old are you?' She asked the boys, who were standing in front of Emma.
'Nearly thirteen,' they said in unison, making Regina chuckle at how adorable they were.
Emma rolled her eyes. 'They're twins,' she said to Regina before she looked down at the boys. 'It's still creepy when you do that.'
Henry forced out a laugh, even though he felt like he wanted to cry. He couldn't believe that his mom still didn't remember him and not only that, but she had a whole other family as well. He couldn't imagine how his Ma must be feeling.
'Ma, can we go please?' he said quietly as he looked up at her. 'I'm tired.'
Emma squeezed his shoulder again. she could hear the sadness in his voice. She knew exactly how he was feeling. She could do without seeing the love of her life playing happy families with someone else, too.
'Yeah, sure it's been a long drive,' she looked at Regina and shot her a charming smile. 'It was lovely to meet you,' she said softly as she stuck out her hand for the brunette to shake. It felt odd being so formal with her, but there wasn't much more she could do.
Regina felt her heart rate increase as her stomach flipped at the way the blonde was looking at her, and that smile, it was the sexiest thing she had ever seen, it made her knees feel weak while heat pooled low in her stomach, and she silently cursed her body for its reaction. Robin was right there, and here she was getting flustered over a woman she had only just met. 'Pull yourself together, Regina,' she mentally scolded herself.
She reached out her hand, only to inhale sharply when her skin made contact with Emma's as a pleasant electric shock made its way up her arm. She stared in to enchanting green eyes that were locked intensely onto her own, and she knew instantly that the blonde had felt it too.
'I think it's time to go,' Interrupted Robin as he watched Regina and the blonde woman gaze into each other's eyes for far longer than was necessary. 'Zaynah, needs to be put down for her nap.'
Regina nodded distractedly; her mind was racing as she tried to figure out exactly who the blonde in front of her was and why she had such a strong effect her. 'I'm sorry, I didn't catch your name,' she said as she looked at Emma inquisitively.
Emma smirked at her as she answered. 'It's Emma, Emma Swan,' she informed
'Em-ma,'repeated Regina with a hint of surprise. 'How odd,' she thought to herself.
'And I'm Lily, since apparently everyone forgot I was here,' interrupted Lily with a pointed look at Emma, who blushed.
'Whoa, who is she? She's hot,' gaped Kingsley as his eyes followed Ruby well, more specificallyherlegs.
Lily slapped him around the head, not hard enough to hurt him but enough to give him a shock. 'Be more respectful, you little shit,' she scolded as she followed her son's eye line.
Kingsley scowled at her. 'Maaa,' he whined
Emma chuckled at her son's face. Sorry, kid, but I'm with your mom on this one. if you want to check a lady out, then you have to be more discreet, also Ruby is way too old for you,' she pointed out, much to Kingsley's dismay.
'You two are married?' asked Regina as she noticed Lily's wedding ring. She had no idea why she hadn't left yet and she could see Robin tapping his foot impatiently beside her, but for some reason, she didn't care. She wanted to know more about these newcomers. 'It's my duty as mayor,' she told herself.
'God, no!' Emma practically shouted as Lily shot her another glare. 'I mean, she has a husband and a daughter at home,' she said awkwardly.
'She's my ex and the mother to my sons. It's actually quite complicated and definitely not a story to tell a stranger you've only just met,' added Lily with a pointed look at Emma.
Regina sensed the hostility in Lily's tone and she took it as a challenge. 'Well, Miss Swan seems to know exactly who I am, so I wouldn't say stranger per se,' she smirked as she looked Emma up and down before she turned her gaze to Lily and gave her a sickly sweet smile that was so obviously fake.
Robin had had enough by now, and he coughed loudly to get her attention. 'Regina,' he said with a slight growl as his hand gripped her arm a bit too tightly for Emma's liking, who was glaring at him.
Regina looked up at her fiancée,who was wearing a murderous expression. 'Take your hand off me,' she hissed at him as her eyes danced dangerously.
Robin didn't move fast enough though and a moment later his hand was being ripped away from his fiancee's arm as he was pushed backwards into a table. 'She told you to let go,' spat Henry in his face as he stood over him.
Robin looked up at him in shock, not quite sure of what just happened. 'If I see you put your hands on her again, I'll chop them off,' seethed Henry, his eyes blazing with anger and his face twisted in to a snarl.
'Henry!' exclaimed Emma as she grabbed her son by the arm and pulled him away from Robin before she spun him around to face her. She expected that kind of behaviour from Kingsley, but Henry had never been violent before.'What was that all about?' She asked gently as she held his cheek in her palm.
Henry's anger instantly deflated and his eyes filled with tears. 'He was hurting her, just like he used to do,' he choked out before he broke down into sobs.
Emma instantly knew that Henry was talking about Leopold, and she pulled him into a hug. 'Shh, it's okay kid, she's okay. She's not hurt,' she soothed as she looked over his head at Regina, whose eyebrows were knitted together as she tried to figure out what the hell just happened.
'I'm really not hurt, I promise,' reassured Regina as she put a hand on Henry's back and gave him a comforting pat. She had no idea why, but she felt like she needed to make the boy feel better. It was almost like a motherly instinct, like the same way she felt when Zaynah was upset.
'Thank you,' mouthed Emma, as she shot her an apologetic smile. Regina just gave her a small nod before she turned to see where Robin was.
Robin had pulled himself up from the table he landed on by this point, but let out a howl of pain a second later as Kingsley stomped on his foot. 'That's for grabbing that lady, and this,' he said as he stomped on his other foot. 'Is for upsetting my brother.'
'Okay, that's enough, Rocky,' chastised Lily as she grabbed Kingsley's hand and pulled him away from Robin. 'Let's go before we all get arrested.' She grabbed Henry's hand on the way past and led them towards the door. 'We'll wait for you in the car, Em,' she added before she left the diner.
Emma stood awkwardly in front of Regina and Robin, the latter who kept sending her nasty looks and the former who looked like she was trying to stare into her soul. 'I'm sorry about Henry, he's going through some stuff and sometimes he can't control his emotions and, well, I don't have any excuses for Kingsley, he's just really protective,' she apologised sheepishly.
Regina didn't know what to say. She still wasn't exactly sure what had happened. She also realised that she should probably be angry that Robin had just gotten assaulted twice, but she wasn't. In fact, she was more amused than anything else and nobody had ever defended her like that before. However, she was the mayor, and she had to act professionally.
'I hope in the future, you will have better control over your children, Miss Swan, especially if you plan on staying here. I won't have little delinquents running around my town and assaulting the townspeople. Luckily for you, we don't have a Sherriff right now, but next time I will press charges,' she threatened.
Emma felt the irritation rise steadily inside of her with every word Regina said. 'This isn't your Regina. She doesn't know who you or Henry are,' she reminded herself as she took a deep breath to quell her anger. She almost succeeded until...
'Make sure you and your little hellions stay away from me and my partner because next time I won't hesitate to retaliate,' seethed Robin.
Emma let out a bark of laughter before she moved into Robin's space. 'Was that a threat?' She hissed dangerously as her lip curled into a sneer. She internally congratulated herself as Robin's face paled and his body trembled.
'Because, honestly I really don't think you want to go down that road with me, and quite frankly you're lucky it was my kids that got to you because I was five seconds away from punching you myself, she's not your fucking property and she can talk to whoever shewa-'. she was cut off when a hand grabbed her arm and dragged her through the diner.
'This feels very familiar,' she internally chuckled to herself as she was dragged into the little hallway and pushed against the wall.
'Who are you?' snarled Regina as she trapped Emma against the wall with her hands. She didn't know why, but she needed to know.
Emma bit her lip. This was one of her favourite versions of Regina, all riled up and oozing raw sexuality. She gazed into her eyes andsmirked when she noticed the spark of desire. She was turned on, and it made the blonde giddy to know she still had that effect on her.
As quick as lightening she grabbed Regina's hips and spun them around before she put her hands on either side of the brunette's head to keep her in place. 'Wouldn't you like to know?' she husked into her ear, delighting in the noticeable shiver that racked Regina's body.
Regina discreetly squeezed her thighs together as she felt her clit pulse and her panties dampen. God, what the hell was going on with her body? Was she seriously getting turned on by this brutish woman who clearly didn't know what boundaries were? No one had ever provoked that reaction from her before, like never.
'Miss Swan,' she growled lowly, trying to keep the arousal out of her voice but going by the low chuckle she heard in her ear, she had failed spectacularly. 'You have no idea who I am or what I'm capable of.' She placed her hand on Emma's chest and pushed her away roughly, putting some much needed distance between them.
Emma's smirk only widened as she moved back into Regina's space, close but not too close. 'Oh, trust me Madame Mayor, I know exactly who you are, and what you're capable of,' she purred with a wink before she turned on her heel and left the hallway.
She shot another wink to Robin as she walked past him and straight out of the diner door. 'This should be fun,' she muttered to herself before she got into her car.
