"Sorry to say, but that's a fucking colossal mistake on your shitty part." David concluded. "I believe in my friends, my partners and the alliance. They'll never get taken in like that."

growls* "You're so stupid!" General Teddie argued. "What kind of an edgerunner are you!?"

"I warning you right now..." David started warning General Teddie. "If you're real, then we'll save the reality, no matter what it takes... even if it costs us our lives."

"But if you're an monstrous imposter acting as Teddie the real bear..." David continued. "I'll make you pay for toying with us all."

"Tch..." General Teddie scoffs and turns around. The monitor turned off.

"Um... that man's come around." The summer-star president noticed.

David immediately ran to Jumpson's side.

"Jumpson, I'm sorry..." David told Jumpson. "Are you all right? Sorry for not going easy on you."

"No, it's fine. Don't worry any further." Jumpson stood up. "I didn't think that's your usual self, but I could tell by your eyes that there's something going on."

"Sorry, dude..." Jumpson apologized. "Did I hurt you that much?"

"Kinda, yeah..." David replied. "I sure wouldn't want tm get into it with you again."

Then the three laughed, finally free of misunderstanding and confusion on Jumpson's part.

"Hey... Did I say things that offended you earlier?" David asked Jumpson.

"Yes... you did..." Jumpson replied.

"Don't worry that much about it. I don't need to know what I said." David reassured Jumpson. "I just want to see if my guess was right."

"It looks like our common enemy has the power to confuse our senses." David explained. "My first opponent was Angela, and she told me a similar story after we fought."

"Huh? Did you say something bad to Miss Angela?" Jumpson asked back. "What did you tell her?"

"You sure you want to know?" David guessed, and then left it be.

Both looked at the summer-star president.

"What kind of people are you?" The president asked.

"Oh. David uses his cybernetics, and I uses an Umbras Cube... or two, as of now." Jumpson replied.

"Yeah... We should at least explain to her what's going on." David suggested.

Both David and Jumpson told the summer-star president everything so far, introducing the alliance as well as filling in the parts that David left in the previous explanation. Including the different powers, the multiverses and extra dimesions in infinite hierarchies of infinity before omniverse, the Zero Point, and that they're all actually in a world inside the television. Etc...

"And that's it in a nutshell." David concluded.

"So... that's what you meant by falling into a TV..." The summer-star president got it.

"Yeah, which makes me... um... us believe those worlds could be a part of your mind that's materialized." David discussed.

"I shaped this world? The true end of Reality Zero?" The president is confused. "That's a lot to swallow..."

"Considering the P-1 Grand Prix before, I'm kinda confused nowadays." Jumpson commented.

"Yeah... TV world is dangerous for those who's can neither resist it nor use Personas." David noted. "Also, Shadows detaches from the affected victims and would violently try to harm then to become independent."

"The General Teddie who's hosting this tournament..." David pieced all together. "What if he's actually someone's Shadow, just like with the original version of this tournament?"

"Huh!?" Jumpson and the president are shocked.

"I noticed he got agitated when I called him an impostor, let alone 'monstrous imposter'." David explained. "A fake Teddie would mean he's someone else using Teddie's form. This isn't the first time that has been done."

"I see... If this world reflects a certain person's heart, their Shadow must be somewhere around here." Jumpson discussed. "And right now, the strongest candidate is..."

As it turns out, the illusion also extends to appearance of things and environments. Much like the case of P-1 Grand Prix.

"I'm gonna check out the Announcement Zone at the Chrome Pyramid." The president rises to her feet. "That General Teddie's behind is whole shebang, right? And whoever he came from... then I'll help own it up. As student body president, I can't let this go."

"Wait... you're being reckless!" David replied. "We'll take care of the Shadow. You need to-"

"What? Get out of the illusion and the TV world?" The president asked back. "And how am I supposed to do that? Go on, show me the gate."

"Well..." David and Jumpson doesn't know.

The president is filled determination, sense of responsibility and awareness of duty.

"Your friends are in the Announcement Zone, and you're gonna go save them, right?" The summer-star president asked. "I might not be as strong as the two of you, but I'm no slouch in a fight. Wouldn't it be better if we went together?"

"No." David refused. "Don't you understand? This world is-"

"I know it's dangerous." The president interrupted. "But there's gotta be somethin' only I can do to help."

"Hell, that aside, I cannot leave after seeing friends fighting each other!" The summer-star president continued. "I'm goin' on ahead. You don't wanna waste time arguing, yeah?" *runs*

"Let's go after her." Jumpson then ran too. "And I believe in you."

David, Jumpson and the president ran towards the Chrome Pyramid to get to the Announcement Zone. They all ran as fast as they can together.

David however ended up realizing that the summer-star president isn't a participant of this P-1 Grand Prix at all, because she is able to completely ignore the rules, and can go through the invisible wall.

Then David fell into a hole, returning to the Velvet Room.

giggles* "You seems flustered." Elise-X met David again. "But time has no meaning here."

"Well, what now?" David wondered.

"It seems you've emerged victorious, and have come away with a piece of truth." Elise-X commented David. "Though you are in a garden of deceit, you have the vision to go forward... Very impressive."

"Whose Shadow is really the cause of all this, then?" David asked.

"Who can say? All I know is that you are getting ever closer to the truth." Elise-X replied. "There is one thing I can tell you..."

"If that Shadow is the cause of this misfortune, then they will face their trial..." Elise-X told David. "But it's separate from your fate."

"You have your own trial to overcome." Elise-X concluded. "Keep that to heart."

"My own trial?" David asked back.

"Everyone sees various things in you that draw them to you: salvation, hope,..." Elise-X replied. "I myself find fascination in watching over you."

"Fate may not be the author of your trials, but you are destined to be tested..." Elise-X then giggles, smiles mischievously and nodded towards David.

Meanwhile...

"Am I disqualified?" Angela questioned.

A flying monitor flickered to life.

"No, not yet!" General Teddie replied. "You only get disqualified if you can't fight anymore!"

"That means if you lose, you'll stay in the current arena." General Teddie continued. "If you can fight again, you've another chance. If you win the next fight and survive, you get to move on!"

"Come on down!"

"I'm not getting tricked again!" Angela argued.

"Yeah, that's right!" The Sephirot argued with General Teddie.

"So you want to be killed then?" General Teddie is disappointed. "You'll have to fight and survive! If you win enough fights as fast as possible, you'll get to the end!"

"But if you die in the fight or give up... You'll be disqualified!" General Teddie warned Angela. "And if you gets disqualified, you die in the end, sooner or later!"

"And you must be another impostor of a friendly Shadow, Teddie." Angela pointed it out.

growls* "Not again!" General Teddie is frustrated. "The cyberpunk said it, and now you, Artificial Librarian over the Seed of Light!?"

"You're embarrassing her!" Malkuth defended Angela. "You should be ashamed!"

"What're you doing!? She's not that bad anymore!" Hod defended Angela.

"If you really plan on giving up and decided to go through it for real, then you will be disqualified and killed!" General Teddie warned Angela. "You have to fight! Just wait for your next opponent!"

"The victory doesn't dismiss you!" General Teddie concluded. "I do!"

The monitor shut off and flew away.

"Fine! I'll fight and survive!" Angela conceded.

"Now you decided to fight anyone after thinking against it?" Tiphereth asked.

"There's no other choice. If I give up for real, I get killed." Angela explained. "I can only fight and survive. That's the only viable way out."

"However, I have since been able to get the truth." Angela continued. "Seems like my fight with David allowed me to deduce the illusions and tricks used."

Angela takes her book and waited for her next opponent...

"Angelicarmen-" Malkuth mocked Angela-

"Shut up. Not the atrocious shit." Angela sweared. "I'll wait for the next."

Meanwhile...

appears in black*

"Where am I?" David noticed.

The Sephirot suddenly appeared, surrounding David.

"Ms. Malkuth? Mr. Yesod? Mr. Netzach? Ms. Hod? Tiphereth?" David looked around. "Ms. Gebura? Mr. Chesed? Mr. Hokma? Ms. Binah? What's up?"

Those Sephira then took their respective weapons. Their eyes are closed.

"You're shit as always!" Malkuth said.

"What? Ms. Malkuth, it's me, David!" David tried to convince. "You're the same side as me, in the alliance, to save the reality!"

"Seems like you're something valuable, because of those cybers." Malkuth pointed out.

"If you're a criminal, have you tried to act and go innocent?" Hod questioned David.

"I want you dead, so we could rip your fucking implants." Tiphereth threatened David.

"You guys...! What's gotten to you!?" David is shocked.

laugh* "Look at your face, that's the face I wanted to see before we kill you!" Gebura made fun of David.

"There's no way trying hard..." Netzach told David. "If you're done, you're done for. No exception..."

"Look, dude, do you still want to continue your edgerunner ways, even after death?" Chesed asked David.

"That's what I am." David bluntly replied. "Also, are you all crazy now!?"

"You're the one who's going crazy!" Yesod then laughed maniacally.

"There's no point in understanding it." Binah told David. "All of it is lies. Fuck off and stop thinking."

Red fog then appeared, then the whole atmosphere is revealed to be of the Shadow World.

"What...!? Shadow World!?" David is horrified.

"Ugly worlds works wonder." Tiphereth replied. "Also, you're fucking over!"

"My prize is your implants, and we're gonna tear you apart." Malkuth said. "Shut up, everyone!"

"You fucker!" Yesod shouted at Malkuth.

"Ugh...! You are so disgusting to do that without my assertion!" Tiphereth mocked David. "Boo!"

"It's finally time to kill you." Gebura smirked.

The Shadows emerged from behind the Sephirot, and seems to like them (even more than Tohru Adachi, given the reaction), much to David's horror.

"No... you can't side to those malevolent Shadows!" David asked the Sephira.

"Oh yeah, we can." Binah argued.

"We thereby declare... Hell comes loose!" The Sephirot shouted.

The Sephirot opened their eyes, revealing the eerie yellow eyes, the same as the Shadow Selves encountered many times by Persona users and the likes.

"No... no... no..." David is scared. "You're Shadows!?"

"We are the Shadows... The true selves!" Sephirot echoed.

Then they all attacked David.

"Nooooo!!!!!!!!!!" David screamed in horror, and is torn down-

view turns to static*

Then David got out of the hole. It was a dream all along. David panted.

"What's wrong!?" Jumpson asked David.

Thanks to the RAM, David quickly regained his senses.

"It's just a dream, but I'll tell you later. Now let's keep going!" David then grabbed Jumpson and activated Sandevistan. "In any case, I need to keep chasing after Miss President!"

Not long after that, David immediately saw a recognizable feature: her spiky, perhaps starry, ponytail.

deactivates Sandevistan* "Found you!" David found her. He put Jumpson down.

"Wait!" Jumpson stopped Miss President. "It's too dangerous to go alone!"

Miss President turned around in response, and is smiling, much to David's surprise. "Color me impressed that you managed to catch up to me so quick."

"Promise me that you won't leave my side." David told Miss President. "And you can't do anything rash, Miss President."

"If you can't agreed to those terms, we'll have to force you into protective custody." Jumpson warned Miss President. "This is a matter of life and death for you."

"...Sure thing." Miss President agreed. "Then let's get to that Announcement Zone together."

awkward silence*

"Hey," Miss President suggested. "Mind if I ask you somethin'?"

"What's it?" David asked.

awkward silence*

"It's tough, being forced to fight your friends, huh..." Miss President said about it.

They all knows...

"Oh, uh, s-sorry... You don't gotta answer." Miss President responded.

"No... you're right." David conceded. "If I could avoid it, I would."

"But I believe in my friends, my allies, the alliance." David continued.

"You mean... your friends won't hate you after the fight?" Miss President asked back. "Or... you think they'll understand that you don't really wanna fight."

"I don't know." David responded. "Both, maybe."

"I mean, there's no way we'd fight each other without some kind of reason." David continued.

Will she believe in that answer? David observed her face, and found that unexpectedly gloomy look in her eyes.

"What if... you had to kill each other?" Miss President asked in worry.

David and Jumpson are shocked. Something hasn't been considered before: no guarantee that General Teddie wouldn't suddenly decide to make fights to the death on a whim...

giggles* "Sorry, that was probably over the line." Miss President apologized. "I don't why I said that..."
