I sit here in this room thinking of
what it could have been.
I could have been with you.
I could have married you.
But Alas that'll never happen.
Why? Because you betrayed me.
But it wasn't just me you betrayed,
it was our love too.
I often wish that I had never met you.
But then, if I hadn't, I wouldn't be
the woman I am today.
So now I'm here to offer you thanks.
Thanks for pretending to be there.
Thanks for acting like you really cared and that I
was the only one.
Its nice to know we had something but now that's all thrown
away because now you are dead to me.
