As Kara flew down the street towards the rock monster, she saw a crystal - red in colouration - it called her, drew her to it, Kara shook her head, but it was too late, she flew into the monster's fist and flew down the street, landing next to the crystal, she picked it up and slipped it into her pocket - for later.
"Kara!" Alex shouted as she fired on the rock monster, some of the rocky casing falling away, Kara blasted it with heat vision and it collapsed. At this, Kara looked around before flying away, leaving the DEO Agents to clear this up. Alex looked after her sister as she flew away, a concerned look on her face accompanied by a heavy sigh.
"Supergirl!" Alex sighs, she'll have to speak to her later, as she ponders, a few things are happening around her, one thing that pulls her out is J'onn walking up to her.
"Director." He says, nodding at Alex.
"Hey J'onn, did you see where Kara went?"
"I believe I saw her set off towards L-Corp. Why?"
"She set off without speaking to me nor anyone else..."
"I see. I'll look into it."
"Thank you J'onn."
Kara flew through the sky, she was finally free. Free of the DEO, free of every burden she carried, free from Supergirl and her responsibilities. She floats towards Lena's balcony, she lands slowly and softly as to not startle the working CEO. As she landed, Lena turned a big smile on her face that turns into a look of intrigue.
"Supergirl?" Lena asked slowly. "I thought you were busy."
"I was, key word: was." Kara smiled and tilted her head slightly as she spoke. "I'm free, Lena, free to be with you, forever."
"Kara... Are you okay?" Lena was concerned at her friend's seemingly strange behaviour however she welcomed her into the office with a smile on her face as she walked through to the couch on the other side, Supergirl sat next to her and, with an uncomfortable look on her face, pulled her cape off and adjusted her suit so that her skirt was a lit higher - her buttocks nearly on show. Lena was surprised by the strange behaviour but deep down she liked it, she moved a little closer before yelping as strong arms pulled her in for a big hug.
"This is nice..." Lena whispered, trying not to distract Kara or ruin the moment, Kara smiled.
"I'm glad your enjoying yourself. I..."
"You?"
"I want you to be mine." Kara whispered into Lena's ear softly, ghosting her lips across her hair and scalp before kissing her forehead softly.
"I... I..." Lena stammered out. "Let's g- go back to my penthouse?"
"Sounds... very, very fun."
A short while later the pair were sat on the couch in Lena's lounge, Kara tracing her family crest on Lena's now practically bare chest. As soon as they had gotten in, the Girl of Steel had stripped Lena down into more comfortable attire, with Kara following suit. They now lay on the sofa, Kara still tracing her family crest, Lena safely in her arms as they lay, Lena resting her hear on Kara's shoulder as she lay on top of the beautiful blonde goddess.
"I love you..." Lena whispered.
"Good, I love you too Lena." Kara whispered back, Kara looked back into her suit, where the red rock remained, she had been sure to place it into arms reach however she was beginning to hate the suit all together, she reached in and, grabbing the rock, her mother's necklace and her phone, she threw the suit into the trash bin.
"Supergirl? Are you sure your alright?" Lena said, a look of concern crossing over her face as she looks at her kryptonian lover.
"I'm fine Lena, I'm just fed up of that suit, the colour is too... old..."
"What colour do you desire then?" Lena whispered, cradling Kara's arm warmly like it was a brace to keep the giddiness from overwhelming her.
"Black. It's an amazing colour, it allows me to express so much whilst still being hidden, free."
"Free from the DEO?"
"Free from everything, the DEO, being Supergirl, free from everything, except you. I couldn't bare to be free of you." Lena smiled at that, wrapping her arms around Kara warmly she brought her face to the Kryptonian's, kissing her.
"I want to be with you forever." Kara whispered.
"I want to be with you forever too." Lena breathed and kissed Kara again.
