It is revealed by the Shadows that the Singularity's essence is still there, even after its destruction at Bayonetta's grasp. The essence somehow no-clipped into the Shadow World, reviving the Singularity and turns to the rift, arriving at the Library, and took the Sephirot, who were the Patron Librarians, creating their Shadows from their negative things and traumas. And once the Zero Point is destroyed, the Shadows were unleashed while Sephirot got unconscious for a week, until they - alongside Ayin and Roland - are stranded at Kingdom Hearts, in Rigna's vicinity. The Shadows, in the meantime, kidnapped Hoshimatsu, prevented her from communicating with Viola, and caused the latter to team up with the CXA just to find her all the way, also allowing her to see the Midnight Channel on the way, this taking Viola altogether, leaving to CXA trying to find her. The Singularity also fused Athena with the TV world in the process, so Viola and the rest of the participants, alongside various others, are also trapped within the old island that was previously been broken and reorganized. The commercial, while similar to the introduction video of the original P-1 Grand Prix, are of the Singularity's design. The entire truth of everything that happened that led to P-1 Grand Prix: Cross Edition showed right at Hoshimatsu, David, the Cube Queen, Tempti of Joy, and by the proxy of the Akasha Terminal used by David and just happened to be enhanced by Mercurius, the entire alliance as well as the Continuum Exploitation Authority.
Hoshimatsu got exposed of her visible cybernetics. She's got a customized Sandevistan, and has two monowires (just like Lucy)
gasps* "No...! Nooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Hoshimatsu screamed.
Hoshimatsu loses all composure and scratched at her arms, trying to test away the cybernetics that had appeared. However, there was more to her cybernetics: lines as attached, the optics, the Sandevistan protruding in her back... all the visible cybernetics not covered by her clothing were completely exposed altogether. Coupled with the fact of her survival and encounter...
In the end, Hoshimatsu falls to her knees... and finally mutters the words David feared that she'd say...
"You're lying... This isn't real!" Hoshimatsu denied. "Singularity was no more!"
"You're... wrong Singularity, not Sephirot!"
Hoshimatsu's defied the truth of Singularity's return and the Shadows' creation. With this, the Shadows' faces twists with evil raptures... They laughed, she cried.
"Finally... You've finally said it!" The Shadows laughed. "Now... the Singularity is truly back!"
"Yes... the power...!!!" The Shadows surges themselves, summoning a figure who looks like Angela as the Librarian of Death, not the Director like she currently is now.
David realized that it's difficult enough to confront the truth, after all, and in her case - just like Labrys's - it was accompanied by revealing the truth she'd been so desperate to hide. Hoshimatsu failed to recognize Singularity before it left The world, and it was only when the Shadows kidnapped her that she realized that Singularity wasn't really destroyed all along... The truth she was avoiding want just part of her personality, but her actual body, and even her memories as well. There, none of the alliance could imagine the shock she's experiencing. But now that the reality she built for herself has crumbled...
"No matter what, Miss President, Hoshimatsu, has a heart." David vowed. "I'll have to help her!"
Hoshimatsu has denied her past which she was kidnapped by the Shadows for failing to notice the essence of the Singularity, and her pain - and now depression - comes out in a long, echoing scream. What has to be done to a heart to cause such terrible screams?
"We'll save Hoshimatsu!" David is determined.
"We will accept who you truly are, Hoshimatsu, as well as those Sephirot!" Tempti cheered. "We won't let the Singularity or the Shadows get better of your fate!"
"We will help you!" Labrys and her Shadow broke in.
"Miss Labrys!" David recognized Labrys. "And your Shadow!?"
"You're all just machines who refute the control!" Shadow Tiphereth mocked David, Labrys and Shadow Labrys.
"So the backstory kinda resemble that of mine, but without the machine and the experiment part, and has kidnapping instead of killing each other..." Labrys noted.
"The student council president, Hoshimatsu, needs your help!" The Cube Queen told Labrys.
"How did you barge into our domain, you piece of garbage!!!" Shadow Yesod is enraged.
"N.O. powers unleashed self, and I am summoned to go alongside my own self!" Shadow Labrys explained. "Then we took advantage of the memories and bypassed the invisible walls! Isn't that interesting?"
"Oh, I see..." Shadow Chesed realized.
"You dare invade the Announcement Zone!" Shadow Binah is angry. "Yasogami's Steel Council President and The Raging Bull of Destruction, get out!"
"Who even are you, Shadows!?" Shadow Labrys argued.
"I am a shadow, the true self..." The Shadow figure speaks in a Shadow-echo version of Angela's voice. She opened the eyes, revealing it to be the golden eerie eyes of the Shadows(, making her... Shadow Angela).
"Angela?" David looked at it. "The Librarian of Death, just like when she was merged?"
"These are Shadows Selves, just like my own." Labrys revealed. "However, they all went berserk."
"Those Shadows takes in the form of Angela and the Sephirot." David noted.
"Then those are their Shadows." Labrys replied.
"Thanks Nahida and Mercurius, I finally got Akasha Terminal to contact the Sephirot, now that the tournament is over...!" David surprised. "They should be on their way, alongside others."
"P-1 Grand Prix Cross Edition?" Shadow Labrys questioned. "Is that your imitation of that tournament I used to host?"
"Didn't expect you to make fun of that, you stupid machine!" Shadow Gebura responded.
"Yeah? And I may be a machine, but just like redemptions, I have a heart!" Labrys argued. "You Shadows should learn that!"
"The Shadows of the Sephirah and Angela... whatever you all came from will be here soon." David warned the Shadows. "In the meantime, I'm gonna fight for Miss President... Hoshimatsu!"
"We did nothing wrong! The Singularity is the one behind all that happened!" Shadow Hod tried to shift the blame away from the Shadows.
"Too bad, we figured out the entire truth." David responded. "You Shadows, and that Singularity, is gotta go."
Labrys and her Shadow took their (respective) axe, and summoned their Personas, Ariadne and Asterius (respectively). Shadow Labrys also took out Viola's sword (which she gave it to Labrys)...
"Take this, cyberpunk." Shadow Labrys threw the sword to David. "Viola Redfield entrusts you with this."
David took the sword. "Thanks."
"We don't care. You're gonna get exterminated anyway." Shadow Hokma refuted.
The Shadows of Sephirot readied their respective weapons, while Shadow Angela took her book, which is a Shadow-powered copy of the perfect book, and targeted David.
"I'm transferring Akasha Terminal to the your majesty." David transferred the Akasha Terminal to the Cube Queen. "Record the entire fight."
David and Labrys and her Shadow stanced into fight, and the rest of the Shadows became ready. Both Labrys charged ahead against the Sephira Shadows, while David squared up against Shadow Angela.
Labrys and her Shadow gave everything at their arsenal, and co-oped with their Personas to fend off the Shadows, the style of an anti-Shadow weapon Labrus has been built as. The Shadow Sephira savagely damaged dual Labrys, but the mechanical maidens still kept fighting, and did everything they has to hurt the Shadows.
The fighting between David and Shadow Angela is largely the same as when David fight Angela in the tournament, but crazier and more vicious due to Shadow Angela being stronger thanks to simultaneously being an extremely potent Shadow and having a copy of the perfect book to cast with, while David got Viola's sword and employed the Witch Time much LLlike in the fight against Kiana.
Both clashings and each respective parties led to the massive mess-up of the Announcement Room, destroying various things in it, with all the fighters there getting more and more injured and damaged and broken. Tempti and the Cube Queen stood in the sideline, recording the fighting for the alliance and also the CXA to watch, which led to panics among everything...
Having ended up lasting for a few minutes, Labrys and her Shadow are seriously damaged, but those Shadows are also very exhausted. David is tattered with wound, yet managed to beat up Shadow Angela good enough.
"Shadows, this is end..." Labrys stood up and initiates... "Weaver's Art: Inquisition."
She summons Ariadne, who fires an energy string that pins those Shadows to the wall in a web formation. The web managed to catch and group the Shadow Sephirot together. Then, Labrys then launches her axe like a boomerang at them using her extendable arms, slashing them multiple times before finally slamming them into the ground with a decisive, downward swing...
"Now... my Shadow, finish them!" Labrys told her Shadow.
Labrys then repeated the same swing again, activating Labyrinthos Gate for her Shadow.
"Don't ever undermine me, you bitches!" Shadow Labrys initiated the finishing. "Labyrinthos Gate!"
First, Shadow Labrys becomes imbued with Asterius' dark energy, the. grabbed the now-mangled Shadow Sephira together, tossing them all into a portal leading into a maze-like dungeon. Asterius then emerges from the depths and devours them (as the camera pans outward towards the maze entrance as the victim's screams can be heard), while Shadow Labrys stands alone laughing.
"It's over." David stabbed Shadow Angela in the back. "We win." *headshots her*
All the berserk Shadows here collapsed. Both Labrys fell down to knees, totally exhausted and obviously bleeding, their Personas disappeared. Shadow Labrys, in particular, then collapsed into lying. David fell down, dropping the sword and is dripping blood.
"We did it..." Labrys is relieved, but she's forced to cool down.
The powers that the hostile Shadow Selves had gathered dissipates. It's over... All that left is for Angela and the Sephirot to arrive and accept the darkness within them, and for Hoshimatsu to calm down and reunite with Viola. But when are they gonna arrive? And will she truly be able to do it?
David turned around, but Hoshimatsu hasn't moved a muscle. She had been avoiding having to watch the battle just now, as well.
"Hoshimatsu..." David looked at Hoshimatsu.
"There you are!" System No. XX arrived and carrying both Geno and the Origin. "Cyberpunk! Your Majesty! Miss President!"
"Hoshi! Martinez!" Viola arrived.
Not just System and Viola... The entire Team Lobotomy-Ruina, Rebecca and the agents of Shinra and Ouma are right behind them. And there are even more surprises...
"Man, as soon as that invisible wall disappeared, we knew you finally did it." Roland knew it.
nods* "Hah, we ran into Miss System, Viola, Kiana and Labrys along the way!" Jumpson as well. "They told us about everything."
"Sorry, but I could've done something more appropriate if someone told me what was going on..." Adachi said.
"You fell into the TV when you're asleep, and trapped in recursive level for a while?" Captain Velvet Meteor arrived. "Oh, now that you're back, Mr. Martinez..."
"Hey, what'd you go?" Ayin is confused.
"Sorry, but we're running out of time." Ultraman Zero told everyone.
"Huh? Ultraman Zero?" Reiji and Xiaomu noticed.
"Oh... yeah, we were surprised by that too." Kogoro concurred. "The adventure he was on turned out to have led him to all this."
"Oh, real Teddie..." David noticed the real Teddie.
"Yeah! And we even brought the Canon Bringers!" Teddie revealed to have contacted and brought the CXA.
Even the original Investigation Team are brought back... and standing alongside the new one... and David didn't know. Everyone (except David and the Shadows) says that Rise, Tempti, the Cube Queen, Geno and even David had showed them pretty much what had been going on. Their smiles are encouraging...
So David stood up and turned to speak to Hoshimatsu, who has been silent all this time.
"These are the alliance and CXA." David introduced them all. "We've all faced our threats, weaknesses and troubles, and united ourselves and each other at many points in time and space..."
"Weaknesses... Unity... Space and Time..." Hoshimatsu finally responded. "You all... faced your problems and overcame it?"
Labrys and her Shadow stood up. Everyone gathered around Hoshimatsu. She tried to shrink away nervously, but Tempti is behind her and won't let her retreat.
"Geez, enough doom and gloom!" Tempti told Hoshimatsu. "You need to stand up, get your resolves and help the Librarians accept their darkness, or else the Shadows will get all lonely!"
"But... I'm just an useless girl who accompanied an Umbra Witch..." Hoshimatsu replied.
"You're still hung up on that?" Mii responded back. "It's already over, you need to let go of your excess fear for good."
"Your jumping skills are impressive for a human, but you're surprisingly sensitive." System No. XX commented. "Aren't you?"
"Uh, what does that have to do with her jumping skills?" Yosuke questioned.
"You're really cute, Hoshi-chan!" Teddie complimented Hoshimatsu. "You're so... beautiful star!"
"Are you all listening to me?" Roland shouted. "Angela and the Sephirot needs to face their Shadows, and...!"
This was going well at first, but now everyone's talking about different things, and they're completely off-topic... but at least those off-topics was there to cheer Hoshimatsu up. Of course, that's not all that unusual... David laughed, and apologized to Hoshimatsu that things didn't quite wrap up as would have hoped.
Hoshimatsu looked back at David with a blank expression. David turned towards Viola, and met her gaze, who nodded silently, and David looked back at Hoshimatsu, who seems slightly nervous.
"You're welcome, Hoshi!" Viola hugged Hoshimatsu. "Or rather... partner!"
"I'm Viola. V-I-O-L-fucking A." Viola introduced herself. "An Umbra Witch from any world behind the Trinity Realms. I'm the new Bayonetta."
Hoshimatsu then looked at Team Lobotomy-Ruina.
gasp* "Excuse me, but are you...!" Angela is surprised.
"Daughter of Bayonetta and Luka." Viola revealed.
