Tea is the reason!
The fourth division's captain walked through her division's building to go to her office. She then made her way to the fourth division's building and to her office. She sighed as she prepared herself a tea. Lots of things has been happening lately. And because of this, she is quite tired needed to rest. Unohana remembered that her vice-captain, Isane, would always tell her to go and rest for a while since her division can handle everything. She knows that they can and yet she ignored the words of her trusted vice-captain.
The shoji door in her office began to slide open as she saw a figure of a tall man. It was Kuchiki Byakuya, the sixth squad captain. He came there without a reason. He did not know why. But if there is a reason. It's maybe because he feels like it. He greeted the Unohana a 'good morning' after opening the shoji door. The kind captain of the fourth squad then replied his greeting with a, "Good morning too, Kuchiki-taicho"
She wondered what brought the sixth division's captain to her. A wound maybe? But if he wanted a wound to be healed, he should have approached the shinigamis in her squad. She was pretty sure that the shinigamis from her squad can heal the wound that he has.. if there was that is. The silence inside the room broke off when Unohana began to ask Byakuya. "What brings you here, Kuchiki-taicho?" she asked. The sixth division's captain glanced at her.
He was thinking on something. A reason on why he came here. He then noticed that she was having tea. Upon noticing this he used this as his reason as to why he came in her office. "I'd like to have tea with you." He answered coldly glaring at her. Unohana just answered his reply with a simple, "I see.." Byakuya then took a sit. There was an empty cup in the table in which Unohana poured some tea for Byakuya. "Here you go, Kuchiki-taicho."
He looked at the tea. The man didnt really want to drink but then remembered that it was his reason. He took a sip of the tea. Both of them were quite silent. But he liked the company. He was with the caring taicho of the fourth division. The one so called 'monster' by the eleventh division. Both were silent until they finished their tea. "Arigato.." Byakuya said as he stood up and opened the shoji door to leave. After sliding it open, he stood in there merely inches outside the door. "If I'm allowed to, can I come here tomorrow morning again?" He asked while his back was facing her face.
"Hai.." Was Unohana's answer to his question and after that he left her office closing the shoji door behind him.
