Naruto was walking to the schoolyard and he wasn't able to sleep, since he kept thinking about what happened yesterday with Hinata.
He touched his lips, while blushing.
He couldn't stop thinking how soft her lips were, and he hate to admit it, but he wouldn't mind having another kiss. Her dark side was so powerful, but alluring at the sametime.
The boy got excited when he witnessed her kicking Toneri's ass, but did it so gracefully.
"Look here comes Hinata!" Naruto heard the male students announced.
"She's so gorgeous!"
"If only I could get my hands on those-"" Naruto's eyes flashed red and the boy who was about to finish that sentence, quickly went silent.
"Naruto-kun!"
Before he could greet her back, she pretty much tackled him with a hug. She pressed her check against his, like a kitten almost.
"Morning, Hinata." Naruto blushed.
"Goddammit! How the fuck did he get so lucky?!" The male students wailed in agony, and Naruto just sweatdropped at them.
"Come on let's head to class." Hinata grabbed his hand and they walked inside.
~ In the hallway ~
"How are you feeling after yesterday?" Naruto asked.
"I feel much better now." Hinata went quiet. "I hope she didn't scare you."
It took a minute for Naruto to figure out who she was talking about.
"Oh, not at all. I mean I didn't expect her to..." Naruto blushed and Hinata giggled.
"What can I say? We are the same person after all, which means we have the same taste in men." She giggled and tapped his nose, amused by his reaction.
'She's going to be the death of me.'
"Anyways." He swallowed. "I was wondering if you would like to meet the others?"
Referring to his friends.
"Oh I don't know. I can tell one doesn't like me very much and the other is very...forward." Hinata said, talking about Sakura and Kiba.
"Understandable, but trust me they are good people." Naruto said.
"If you say so." Hinata smiled.
"Great." Naruto held her hand and they headed to homeroom.
~ In the classroom ~
"Damn, how is that possible?" Sakura asked. Ino told her group what she heard about Toneri's chakra shattered and no longer have powers.
"I'm surprised they never found the person responsible. That type of technique is forbidden since ancient times, only one person was able to do that, among other things." Shikamaru said.
"Who was it?" Kiba asked.
"Hey guys." Naruto greeted.
"Hey Naru-" Kiba stopped, when he saw Hinata next to him.
"Hi." Hinata waved at them with a nervous smile.
"H-h-hi." Kiba stuttered, while the others tried not to laugh at him. Hinata saw Shino and trying to fetch something out of her bag.
"Here you go." She gave Shino his pen back. "I never thanked you for letting me borrow your pen."
'She's an angel!' Everyone thought.
"It's quite alright. Really." Shino blushed.
"My name is Ino-"
"Yakamaza. I love coming to your family's flower shop. You always have the best flowers in town." Hinata smiled at her and Ino had stars in her eyes.
"Well don't mean to brag, but we always make sure we take the best care of our flowers!" Ino said.
"Alright Ino-pig, your ego is showing." Sakura teased.
"She has a point." Shikamaru said. "My name is Shikamaru Nara."
"Your father talks about you all the time. Him and father play Shogi together." Hinata said.
"I've met Hiashi Hyuga before, never thought you were his daughter." He said.
"I get that a lot." Hinata said.
'I'm glad she's getting along with everybody. But, where's Sasuke?' Naruto thought.
"Hey, Sasuke-kun!" Sakura chirped and Naruto noticed Hinata's eyes shifted.
Sasuke stopped when he saw Hinata near everyone, and they saw the two heirs staring at each other.
"It's been a while, Sasuke." Hinata said, softly looking down.
"You finally had the guts to talk to us, huh?" He asked, glaring at her. Everyone, except Hinata was caught of guard the way he was glaring at her.
"What's your problem?" Naruto asked.
"For a minute there, I thought you were too good for us." Sasuke said, ignoring Naruto and Hinata flinched at his tone.
"I-I had a reason." Hinata said.
"Tsk, what reason could that be? Princess." He said with venom.
"Again, what the fuck is your problem?!" Naruto grabbed Sasuke by the collar his eyes flashing red.
"That's none of your business, Dobe." Sasuke fired back, and his eyes flashed red too.
"What did you call me? Teme!"
"Alright break it up you two. You're scaring Hinata!" Sakura said, getting between them.
"Like I care about how her Highness feels." Sasuke shoved Naruto off and looked down at Hinata.
"I'm sorry for causing trouble." Hinata bowed, her bangs covering her eyes as she walked back to her desk.
"That was not cool, Sasuke. She was trying to be friends with us." Kiba said.
"Funny, if I recall all you wanted was to get in her pants." Sasuke confronted and Kiba growled.
"Why you-"
"Enough!" Naruto snapped and the group stopped, and he glared at Sasuke.
"I don't know what the fuck is your issue with her, but you didn't have to be so mean to her!" The fox boy said.
"You don't know a damn thing. As far as I'm concerned, she deserved it." Sasuke said, sitting down.
Hinata tried not to cry as she was holding her necklace. She doesn't blame him for being upset with her, after the Hyuga incident she pretty much abandoned him.
'He wouldn't understand.' Hinata thought.
~ After class ~
"Hey Hinata!" Ino greeted and walked towards her new friend.
"Oh, hi Ino."
"Sakura and I were about to go shopping after school. Would you like to join us?" Ino asked.
"Oh, I don't know. I'm not really the fashion type." The Hyuga said.
"Perfect! I love doing makeovers! Come on it will be fun!" Ino gave her puppy dog eyes.
"Well, I don't see the harm-"
"Great! This is going to be so fun!"
~ At lunch ~
"That's great Hinata, but what's your problem?" Naruto asked. It was official that it will be a regular routine, that they will have lunch together outside.
"I never had girls to hang out with. I just don't want to embarrass them." Hinata confessed.
"You're not going to embarrass them. If it makes you feel better the guys and I are also going to the mall, so technically it won't be just you three." Naruto reassured her.
"What about Sasuke?"
"What about him?"
"He doesn't like me and I don't want to cause any tension." Hinata said.
"Please, like I care what that Teme thinks. It wasn't right for him to treat you like that." The Uzumaki boy said.
'If only you knew.'
~ At mall ~
"Oooo, this will look so cute on you!" Ino said, holding up a dark plum summer dress, with spaghetti straps.
"I don't know. You think it's too much skin?" Hinata asked.
"Of course not, it will bring out your eyes! Come on try it on." Sakura encouraged, linking her arm to Hinata's and the two girls dragged Hinata to the fitting room.
~ With the boys ~
"Man, we are going to be here all day." Kiba huffed. The boys was sitting at the cafe area, while they were waiting on the girls.
"On the bright side, at least the girls finally have a friend to enjoy their intense shopping." Shino commented.
"Fair point." Shikamaru said and glanced at the Uchiha and Uzumaki boys. "It will be better if you two would actually get along."
"I'll get along if he admits he was wrong." Naruto said, glaring.
"Tsk, I did nothing wrong. Not my fault she's overly sensitive." Sasuke fired back.
"Just because she is from a high status, doesn't mean she has no feelings. Honestly, I don't see what girls see you. All I see is an asshole with a duck butt of a haircut!" Naruto insulted.
The other three just stared at the two fighting.
"Don't act like you really care about Hinata! The only reason why you are friends with her because of her looks and status!" Sasuke snapped.
"That's not true! You have no idea what Hinata and I have! Maybe you're just jealous and don't want to admit it!" Naruto yelled.
And the others looked at Sasuke.
"Like hell I would be jealous. In my opinion, she is nothing but an unwanted heiress that is only good for being a guy's wet dream!" Sasuke said.
"Sasuke!" Sakura snapped.
The boys froze as they turned around, and saw Ino shooting daggers at them and Sakura ready to punch Sasuke.
Hinata was in the middle and there were tears coming down her face.
"Hinata..." Naruto said, reaching for her, but she pushed him away and ran out crying.
"Hinata!" Naruto ran after her.
"What the hell Sasuke!? She has done nothing to you!" Sakura yelled.
"You don't know anything! I thought you didn't like her!" He glared.
"At first I didn't, but unlike you I gave her a chance! Whatever grudge you have against her, doesn't give you the right to say those horrible things about her!" Sakura argued.
Sasuke couldn't come up with anything else to say. To be honest, he didn't know what came over him when made that awful comment about her.
Sakura had a point, she made an effort to get to know Hinata. He just been giving her a hard time and treating her like she's the plaque.
"You need to apologize to her! That is no way to treat someone who trying to be your friend." Sakura said.
~ At the park ~
Hinata was under a tree crying her eyes out on her knees.
"Hinata..."
She glanced up and saw Naruto kneeling in front of her and pulled her into a hug.
"I hate seeing you cry." Naruto ran his fingers through her hair, to calm her down. It took a lot for him not to beat the shit out of Sasuke, but Hinata came first.
"I'm sorry, Naruto. I knew I shouldn't of came with." Hinata sniffled.
"It's not your fault. He should be the one saying sorry, you did nothing wrong." Naruto said.
"Sasuke and I used to be childhood friends." Hinata admitted.
"With him?" She nodded.
"We were close, you could say we were like brother and sister. There was an incident years ago, because of me and because of that reason...I kept my distance from him...to protect him." Hinata clenched her amulet.
"I thought if I pretended I didn't know him, it would be better for both of us. But, I was too ignorant to notice how it it hurt him. So, he has every right to be angry with me."
"No he doesn't. Just because you two had a falling out, doesn't give him the right to be a jerk." Naruto said, gently grabbing her shoulders.
"Still. Instead of talking to him, I abandoned him."
"Hyuga."
The pair turned around and saw Sasuke, but instead of his usual glare he just looked away.
"Look Teme if you are here to-"
"Relax, I came here to talk to Hinata...alone." Sasuke said. Naruto was about to say no, but he felt Hinata touch his arm.
"It's okay, Naruto-kun." She said.
"Fine, I'll go back to the others. But, if something happens I won't hold back." Naruto got up and bumped his shoulder against Sasuke's, and left.
~ Somewhere ~
"He's gone." A guy said, on the phone.
"Good! Since he's gone, she's vulnerable!" The man on the other end of the line said.
~ With Sasuke and Hinata ~
"I want to apologize about the stuff I said. I was just angry." Sasuke admitted, sitting down next to her.
"It's okay. I'm sorry for ignoring you...I just thought it would be best." Hinata said, resting her chin on her knees.
"Why did you keep your distance? Was it something I did?" Sasuke asked.
"No of course not. It was something I did, I didn't tell Naruto this, but remember the news about the Hyuga Elders 11 years ago?" Hinata asked.
Sasuke nodded.
"It was me. I was the one who killed them." Hinata confessed and Sasuke eyes widen.
"How? We were only five years old."
"A power was awakened and it was forced to be sealed. Naruto knows about my dark half...he's the only one who can remove my seal." Hinata said, showing him the lioness.
"Dark half?"
"The power hidden away is my dark self. Because of her, Toneri doesn't have his chakra anymore...she shattered it." Hinata said.
Sasuke was beyond shocked, he never heard of anyone having that ability before. The fact that Hinata's dark side can do that, it makes him wonder what else can she do.
"Why didn't you tell me?"
"We were five. I didn't know what to do, but when we grew up you seemed content without me, and I didn't want to ruin that for you."
Sasuke looked down and clenched his fist, feeling guilty.
"S-Sasuke?!"
He didn't even realized he was embracing her, and held her tight.
"Idiot."
Hinata slowly hugged him back and tried not to shed any more tears.
"I still love you like my sister. I don't care what you did I'm just glad you're back in my life." He confessed.
It was cut short when Sasuke's Sharingan activated.
"Look out!" He tackled Hinata out of the way, as a red energy ball crashed into the tree they were under.
"Didn't mean to interrupt." The person said. It was a man with brown hair and green eyes, he was wearing a black cloak, with strange symbols around it.
"What the hell do you want?" Sasuke pushed Hinata behind him.
"I only came here for the girl." The guys said and his hand started glowing red. "Hand her over and I'll spare you."
"No a chance." Sasuke blew a fireball at him, causing a distraction and made a run for it with Hinata.
"Bastard." The man grinned his teeth, as he was trying to take the fire out on his robe.
~ At the forest ~
"We should be fine here." Sasuke said, while texting Sakura.
"You need to be careful. Whatever that guy was his chakra is off the charts."The lioness's eyes was glowing purple.
"That's you talking to me?!" Hinata looked dat the amulet, but it stopped glowing.
"I informed the others. They should be getting here soon." The Uchiha said.
"We need to be careful with this guy. I was told he is someone not to take lightly." Hinata warned.
"By who?"
Found ya!"
Sasuke picked up Hinata and jumped out of the way, as another energy ball was thrown at them.
"I'm really not a patient guy. Just hand me the girl!" The guy snapped.
"Over my dead body!"
"Fine by me!"
Sasuke put Hinata down and hurled towards the guy, and they both clashed. All Hinata can see is flames and red energy going at it.
"Hinata!"
She turned around and saw the others running towards her.
"Help Sasuke!" Hinata yelled. They saw Sasuke fighting someone with his bloodline activated.
"Naruto keep Hinata safe!" Sakura demanded, while the others ran to help their friend.
While the two were fighting, Sakura's fist glew pink and when she punched the ground causing a crater, making the two separate.
"I like them strong." The guy smirked and was about to use another attack, but his body was restrained. He looked down and saw his shadow was locked.
"Don't eve." Shikamaru said, his body glowing yellow.
Shino's body glew green and placed his hands on the ground, and a swarm of bugs from underground clinged on the enemy, trying to drain his chakra.
"You think these little tricks can hold me down!" The guy laughed.
His foot formed red electricity that transferred to the shadow user, making him grunt in pain forcing him to let go of the enemy's shadow.
The guy body flashed red and the insects turned to dust.
"But, I do give you guys an A for effort." Red chakra tentacle came out of his back, and grabbed the others.
"Ino, watch over Hinata."
"Naruto!"
Naruto's eyes turned fox red and landed a blow at the guy's face, letting his friends go.
Before the enemy can defend himself, Naruto use his Namikaze's bloodline, which was the Rasengan and thrust it into the guy stomach.
"Ack!" He coughed up blood and was sent flying.
'I guess the girl isn't the only person with special power.' He smirked and spit the blood out.
His hands flashed red, releasing a red beam hurling towards them. Ino pushed Hinata out of the way.
When the smoke cleared, Hinata's friends was down, fortunately still alive. Hinata tried to remove her amulet out of desperation, but to no avail.
"Pathetic. As for you."
He was reaching for Hinata, until a dark purple chakra ball was thrown at him burning his back. Naruto used his last bit of strength and flashed a front of Hinata.
"S-sorry about this." Naruto removed the seal.
"NO!" The guy shouted and used his chakra to toss Naruto aside. Sasuke and the others were shocked at her appearance and her aura.
'This is her dark side she mentioned?' Sasuke thought.
The dark Hinata looked around and saw her friends conditions, especially Naruto's. She clenched her fists and lion head appeared.
She flashed in front of the attacker and sucker punched him, and land a blow on his stomach making him roll on the ground.
"Not only did you hurt my friends. You try to kill my toy." Hinata smirked, referring to Naruto and even injured he blushed and the others gawked at him.
"Oh shut it." Naruto groaned.
She raised her arm and the attacker was levitated in the air, and her hand formed glowing purple veins.
"Kill me if you want, there are more of us out there who want your powers." He said, but the look in her eyes were predatory and caused him to shiver.
"Look like I need to go hunting." She slowly curled her fist as his chakra was being sucked out and she closed her other hand, burst him like a pimple.
"That was a bore." Hinata flipped her hair and kneeled in front of Naruto, holding his chin.
"We need to stop meeting like this, Foxy." She smirked, tilting her head.
"S-sorry." He blushed.
"You're lucky your cute." She kissed him and everyone gawked, as she got up. Hinata was holding the guy's red chakra orb.
"As for the rest of you." She manipulated the orb and was able to heal everyone.
Hinata walked over to Sasuke and slapped him in the face, leaving a red print.
"That is for making the other Hinata cry. But, I do thank you for protecting her." She grabbed the amulet from Naruto and passed out, when she turned back to normal.
"Alright, Naruto you have some explaining to do!" Ino said.
Naruto gulped.
