(Violet's Pov)
I woke up to the sound of some clattering and I shot straight up from the bed. I felt around a bit and looked to see Clementine gone so I got up and looked into the kitchen to see Clementine making breakfast and I smiled a bit at this.
"Morning, sorry I didn't mean to drop the cup." She says and I nod as I go and grab it.
"It's fine, this thing is pretty durable." I say as I place the cup back on the counter. I looked outside to see snow covering the ground and I go and set more logs on the fire.
"It snowed pretty hard last night." She says and I nod and head over to her and place my hands on her hips and kissed her cheek.
"Hmm, we still need to talk to your father." I muttered into her neck and I feel her nod at this.
"Of course, though are we able to make it with the snow this high?" She asked and I shrugged as I went to open the door to see how high it really was. It was honestly almost up to my ankles and I closed the door to think a bit.
"We can go on the horse, it shouldn't be too bad if we do that, though the cart won't do so well in the snow." I explained and I helped her with the food.
"Well, we can take the horse, it's best to talk to him now than later, especially with something as important as his daughter getting married." She says and I nod.
"Yeah, he might not be too happy about it, but I don't regret it." I tell her.
"I don't either, and he'll come around on it, he's going to have to at least, he said if I was happy, he would respect my choices." She tells me and I think a bit.
"Yea but marrying a woman? Not able to have an heir without the help of a Witch? The fact that I'm not a knight, not a noble?" I asked and she came up to me and cupped my face in her hands and I look to her.
"Calm down Violet, I know you are worried, but don't be, I can handle this." She tells me. I take a breath and clamed myself down as we finished making breakfast. It was some ham, with some fried potatoes, and a cup of water since I haven't gotten fresh fruit yet.
"Do you want some Ale?" She asked and I shook my head.
"No, I'm fine with water, but thank you." I say to her and she nods as she eats. I eat as well and I look out the window a bit. It took a good few minutes before we finished eating and I put the plates in the sink as I went to grab some warm clothes for Clementine to wear. It was my old Knights jacket and I place it on her.
"What about you?" She asked.
"I'm ok trust me." I tell her. Which it was true, I can't be affected by the cold anymore with me being the monster I was. I took her out to the horse and I helped her on, I then got on and we started to head to the castle. I felt Clementine hold my waist tightly as we rode past the town and I didn't see much of anyone, I was finally able to get us to the Castle and we set the horse in the stable. I helped Clementine off and we both entered into the castle and I see Lee looking at us as he is holding a paper.
"Dad." Clementine says and he looked to me then back to Clementine.
"Explain…. Now." He ordered and I looked to him.
"Sir, I had asked Clementine to Marry me-."
"So, you could rule these lands? You a peasant, daughter of a drunk." He says mad and I look at him.
"Dad, don't talk to her like that." I hear Clem say but I don't say anything to him. He was right, in all honesty he was.
"Sir my intentions were not like that, I have known Clementine for a long time, you know this, and I have loved her for a long time, before she became a princess." I tell him and he looked to me.
"I find it funny that you come back after the law was placed." He says to me.
"Sir as I said my intentions of being married to Clementine were not like that, I have loved her for a long time but I couldn't marry her at the time." I tell him.
"Because you wanted to take the throne." He says.
"Dad you aren't listening to her." Clementine speaks up.
"She married you because she want's power Clementine, that's why she said to get the witch so people would ridicule me." He says.
"King Lee, I had told you to talk to a witch on the problem we were having, Carver is making a big deal out of nothing because he's a sick man that says your daughter should be forced to marry the Prince of Richmond." I tell him.
"She should have, he's a nice boy." He says.
"No he is not he is a coward that would let his people starve before he would go into battle to help anyone, he didn't help us when we needed it and you lost many good men in that battle against the delta, while he rode around in his armor as if he was in fucking battle, he did not see the bloodshed like I have, he did not have to tell his knights it's going to be ok as they lay there dying asking for their mothers, their kids, their wives, he didn't have to make plans to try and keep the Knights alive, no he is a brat that is just getting a throne because he's spoiled rotten." I tell him.
"You-."
"No, you know it's true he is a coward that would let Clementine die before he would defend her himself, that boy has gotten worse, would you rather I keep her safe or him?" I asked him and he looked to me.
"I promise you, I am not with Clementine because she is a princess, if she was never adopted by you I still would have married her, though it would be in secret because I don't know if you would have made it law for us to be allowed to marry." I tell him and he looked to me then to the paper then back to me.
"I will think on it." He says to us.
"There is nothing for you to think on dad, we are already married, you can't just take that back." Clementine says to him.
"Clementine, I just need some time on this, Violet needs to prove she isn't married to you just because you are a princess…. But… I will allow her to make some decisions since she is the uh…" he tried to say and I look to him.
"I am not queen, nor am I a king until you say." I tell him and he nods.
"For now, you will be a sit in, that will be it…. And today you will start, so… both of you have to attend a meeting with me and the other royals in the neighboring kingdoms." He explained and I nod as we follow him to the planning room and I take a seat next to Clementine as she takes a seat next to her father. The other royals are here as well looking at us.
"Only the kings of kingdoms can be in here." I hear Kenny say and I look to him then to Lee.
"Clementine and Violet are allowed to be in here since they are married and shall be taking over, but for now they are being an apprentice of sorts to know how things are run around here." Lee says and the others look at us and I nod.
"Well, this is fantastic, welcome Violet and Clementine." Kenny says and I nod at him.
"Thank you, Kenny, so what are we talking about?" Clementine asked and I look to them.
"The Delta, they haven't been as active as they were a few months ago, they might be plotting something." Javie says and I look to him.
"I haven't seen them much on the road when I was traveling, they seem to be in hiding." I tell them.
"You know about this?" Kenny asked and I nodded.
"I was in charge of the battle in Crawford, they were pretty strong back then but we dwindled the numbers a bit, they might be recruiting new members since many of them were old men in battle, they were strong too, they have a Witch working with them I know that." I explained.
"A god damn Witch of course, they would be cowards like that." I hear Carlos say and I nod at this.
"They also seem to have a monster that can't die either." Clementine speaks up.
"A monster?" Kenny asked.
"Yeah, it attacked the Hot Springs, well the town where it was." I say to them.
"I know about the attack my daughter explained it to me." Carlos says.
"Yes, Mariana explained it to me too." Javie says and I nod.
"This monster is not like any we've read about though." I say to them.
"Being as?" Kenny asked.
"You can't kill it like any man, burning it only leaves marks, stabbing it won't do the thing doesn't bleed, it's not human or animal in any way." I tell them.
"So, it's dead?" Lee asked.
"I don't know, I've researched as much as I could the only time this happened was well over two hundred years ago, though that caused many people to die but they weren't able to come back, but those monsters ate people's flesh, this monster can eat like normal as far as I know." I explained to them and they look at me.
"What else do you know?" Lee asked and I explained as much as I could about the monster, or well me in that matter, after a few hours passed the other royals left I looked to Lee who was looking at me.
"I see that you can do well in a meeting." He says.
"Of course, I had to know these things when I was a knight." I tell him.
"Yes, right I seem to have forgotten about that… alright I can trust you with this one task at least, now Clementine Violet and I need to head to my office to look over any laws that we need to fix or anything, this isn't really a job for you to do until later but Violet needs to get the hang of it first." He explained and Clementine nods.
"Ok." She says to him then comes up to me and kisses my cheek and leaves. I looked in her direction and once she was out of view I looked to her father as he looked to me. I turned a bit read as we walked to his office and I rubbed my neck a bit. We finally get into the office and he makes me take a seat across from him and he hands me a document and I look at it a bit.
"Read it and we can discuss it." He says and I nod at this as I read it over. It took a while for me to finally finish it and I look to him as he is waiting for me to speak.
"So?" He asked and I think.
"I do think that we should discuss this with a priest, they might not be to happy about a tax." I say to him and he nods at this.
"That is true, anything else?" He asked.
"I think they should be taxed if they are going to involve themselves into political issues, though not all churches are doing that, so they would ask why are we making those suffer when others want to be an issue on it." I explained.
"I see that yes." He says and I look more into it.
"Though… you know of the priest Carver, correct?" I asked.
"Yes, I do."
"Well, he's been causing issues when it comes to you, but hear me out, he can be taxed more if he's going to cause political issues by spreading lies without proper information, if he cannot prove anything he has to pay a certain amount in gold, and we can use that for orphanages or the hungry people, I know there aren't much people starving but I can make this a law myself so you don't gain any backlash from it." I explained to him and he looked to me.
"Though that does seem like a good idea what about his followers?" he asked.
"You mean people that believe the misinformation?" I asked.
"So, to speak yes, and those who would not like the idea of him being taxed." He says.
"We, tell them where the profits would go, they should be happy that the money would be going to helping people, be it gods will at that point, like I said if we can wait to make it law whenever you see fit for me and I will take the backlash from it if things start to go out of hands." I explain to him.
"Yes, indeed if the profits from it do go to good use they shouldn't complain that much." He says as he leans back a bit to think on it.
"You would be ok with any backlash?" He asked and I nodded at this.
"I would." I tell him.
"Alright we can do that." He says and I nod in agreement as we look over other laws he had on the table.
"We can allow some people to donate any food that might go to waste, I mean it's just to make a kind gesture but I don't think we have to make it law unless need be." I tell him as we look at other documents, though this was a request from some of the citizens of the kingdom and not something Lee had made.
"I can agree with that, we can make it a small law unless need be in the future though, what about the schooling?" He asked.
"I think it would be great, and for the people to be able to travel for new studies would be great too." I tell him.
"Yes, I do agree on that." He says.
"We could get other people from different regions as well to teach people another language if they want to that is, we could make more deals overseas if given the chance, more people can come to help us as well." I explained.
"I didn't think about that, yes ok, I will sign this." He says and does as so and I nod. After a few hours of this we had decided to take a break for lunch and I go look for Clementine who was in the kitchen helping the cooks a bit. I go over to her and taste one of her desserts.
"Hmm, this is so good." I say.
"Clementine made it; she's been learning a lot." One of the cooks says and I nod at this.
"You and Lee done?" She asked.
"For now, we decided to stop for lunch, but afterwards it's up to him." I explained and she nods.
"Anything important?" She asked and I think.
"Well, he agreed with me on the schooling, I even added in that we should allow others to learn a different language too, that way we can make oversea trades, if need be, and some help as well." I explained.
"Oh, that does sound good." She says and I nod in agreement we then went into the dinning hall and had a seat near Lee as he had some papers on the table and was eating his food and he handed me some papers as well so I could look over them.
"Hey dad maybe you and Violet should take a break." Clementine offered.
"You know we can't if Violet wants to rule then she has to work for it." He says and I look to Clementine and I nod a bit at this.
"Yes, but even you don't usually work during lunch or dinner." She tells him.
"Clem it's fine plus I would have to do this sometimes if I have a lot of paperwork in the future." I tried to explain to her.
"I… I can't say no to that." She says and I nod as Lee and I work some more.
"I don't think we should try to expand our land more, what we have right now is just fine besides that would involve taking someone's land." I muttered a bit.
"Hmm, we could make a deal with some people though." Lee says.
"And if they disagree?" I asked.
"Well, we can't force someone, and like you said taking the lands would be out of the question." He says and I nod.
"We can put this on the side and think on it more." I tell him and he nods as I get to work on more papers. When we finished lunch, we had gone back to Lee's study and we worked some more till it was close to going to bed.
"I think we should end this here, thanks for the help, Violet." He tells me and I nod as I get up from the chair and stretch a bit at this.
"We should meet up in the morning, say around five." He says and I nod at this.
"Yes sir, uh… do I sleep in a different room?" I asked him and he looked to me.
"Why?" he asked.
"Well, I mean I uh… your daughter." I try to explain and he looked to me.
"You two are married, so you may stay in her room with her, unless she says otherwise." He says and I nod as I head to Clementine's room. I opened the door and looked to see Clementine at her desk and I go over to her and kiss her cheek as she turned to look at me and I chuckled as she kissed my cheek as well.
"So how did everything go?" She asked and I think on this.
"I think your dad like some of my ideas, though I know a little bit from being out on the field plus being a uh… peasant I know how people think when it comes to new laws being made." I explained to her.
"I can understand that… about that meeting with the other royals, how do you think that went?" She asked.
"You did great if that's what you are worried about." I tell her as I take a seat next to her and she looked to me and I smile at her.
"I mean, how did you feel?" She asked and I think about this.
"I felt ok, it felt like I was back in the battle of Crawford, in the meetings with other knights planning out the defenses and attacks, trying to gain information unknown." I ranted about this and then looked to Clementine who was smiling a bit and I look at her.
"Sorry I ranted a bit too much on this." I apologized to her and she shakes her head at this.
"No, you're passionate on this, it's cute." She says.
"Cute?"
"Yes, well I mean you know what you are talking about and it makes you feel normal right?" she asked and I nod at this.
"I can see what you are talking about, though it's still hard to make new laws or talk about them with someone else who might have a different opinion on other things, though most of the things we discussed went in both our favors, like the schooling, and well an offer I made." I tell her.
"Offer?" She asked.
"Well, there is a law where we could tax the church, I mean well tax Carver for his misinformation that he wants to spread, since he wants to talk into political issues and such, he should be taxed for spreading the information if it's not true, I told your dad that I would take the uh… backlash from it if I am to be by your side." I explained to her.
"I don't think it's a good idea, Carver has been talking around and he does have some connections." She says.
"Yes, but by the old laws that were set, the church cannot involve themselves with politics because of the said corruption they claimed to be in it, if the man want's to be involved in this then he might as well be taxed for it… besides it would be used for the Orphans and the people should be ok with kids being helped out, and if they have an issue with it then there is something wrong with them." I tell her.
"I know your intentions are good Violet but please be careful when you make this law, make some other standards in it or something, it can't just be a simple thing." She explained.
"I know that's why I'm waiting till I can actually make these laws, it'll give me some time to think on what to pass and such, right now Lee… I mean your father is just showing me how things go for him, he said we would meet up early in the morning though." I tell her and she nods.
"I'll sit in this next meeting you and him have, I should get to know these things too." She says and thinks a bit and I nod.
"Of course, it will be great, and if you need help then you can ask me." I tell her.
"Well, I should be saying that to you, we both will need to help each other in these things, though dad shouldn't take to long to hand the throne over." She says and I look to her.
"I don't mind waiting, I am in no rush when it comes to this, besides I do need to learn these things, and if your father doesn't think I am ready for it then I trust his judgment." I tell her but I also think on what Minerva had said and I decided to talk to her on this when Clementine goes to sleep.
"If that is what you want, I will be heading to bed, you should go bathe before coming to bed." She says and I nod as I head out to the bathhouse and I make a turn to run into Minerva and I quickly pull her to the side so no one sees us.
"What are you doing here?" I whispered harshly to her and she looked to me.
"I just joined in to be the new nurse here, though I do want to say when will you be taking the throne?" she asked and I look to her and sighed a bit in frustration.
"Look, Lee doesn't think I am ready just yet, but I am getting there, once he thinks I'm ready then I will be in the throne." I whispered to her.
"You should hurry to learn on this if you aren't in the throne in a timely manner then Lee will see his end." She tells me.
"Look don't kill him is all I am saying, wait till he thinks I'm ready, I understand why he is the way he is." I tell her.
"And do tell as to what you think." She says and I look to her.
"He's just stressed with all the complications of Carver and the Witch that gave him and Clem a warning, but right now I'm trying to get on his good side and lessen the stress on him with helping him on these duties." I tell her.
"Fine, you have a month, actually you have half a month to take the throne if not, Lee is dead." She whispers to me and I rubbed my neck as she left and I headed to the bathhouse. I clean myself up a bit and rubbed my face with some water as I think a bit on the issue, I have been delt with. I could run away from it all but then Clementine would be sad, I would just be running from something I cannot escape, and hell Minerva could kill me before I even get the chance to leave, even if we made a deal, she can go back on it like I would be doing. I take a deep breath as I get up and put on the change of clothes and head back to the room and as I enter, I look to see Clementine laying in the bed, I head over to her and I kiss her cheek and she pulls me into a kiss. I smiled at her as we pulled apart and I lay in the bed next to her and look to her. She was showing me some of her books that she had been reading and I started to feel a bit tired as we finally decided that it would be best to go to bed. We had been woken up by a knock on the door and I shoot up from the bed and look around a bit just as Clem placed a hand on my shoulder and I looked to her and take a breather.
"It's time to get up Violet." I hear and I nod.
"Yes, yes, sorry I'll be there in a bit." I tell the person as I get up and stretch a bit I then got changed into something nice and clean, then headed over to Lee's office and saw him at his desk looking at some papers, so I decided to go over to the desk and take a seat.
"Hmm, you should know about stuff like this." He says and hands me the paper and I see it was from Marlon and the other Knights.
'Dear King Lee, we have come across and issue with the Delta Kingdom, they seem to have been hiding in the Rose Town but seem like they are not a threat as of right now, what should we do?' I read the letter and looked to Lee and thought a bit.
"So?" He asked, and I looked to him then to the letter.
"At the time we can tell Marlon and the others to just keep an eye on the Delta see if they could send in a spy to look into what they are planning." I tell him as I think a bit on the matter. I didn't want to cause problems with the Delta as of right now but this is the safest way to make sure Lee is on my side for this.
"Alright I will tell them to do so." He tells me and then writes his own message to Marlon. I was then given some more papers on other neighboring Kingdoms, but there was also a letter addressed to me so I took it and read it.
'To Violet, we are writing this letter to inform you of the Delta being near Wellington the town, I know I haven't written to you in so long but I just wanted to give some warning on this matter I do not know if you will be given this message but this is the best place to send it, from: James Aldon.' I read and I look to Lee a bit as he looked at some more papers and I think a bit.
"Uh… Sir… have I gotten any letters while I was gone?" I asked and he looked to me.
"Why do you ask?" He asked as I showed him the letter in my hand.
"It seems my father has sent a message to me a while ago and it was to here, how backed up are you on these papers?" I asked him and he sighed a bit.
"I'm a few months behind I think, though I am not sure at the moment." He tells me and I think about it.
"Sir we should see the situation in the Town of Wellington, or at least I should." I tell him and he looked to me.
"Why is that?" He asked.
"I… my family is there currently, or as far as I know, and I have a little sister there too." I tell him and he looked to me.
"I see… we can send some men there for you to check on them." He tells me.
"Why can't I go?" I asked out of curiosity.
"Well, you are going to be the new uh… king?" or queen?" of Macon and we don't want anything happening to you on the way to and from there." He tells me.
"But you've let Clementine and I go to the other kingdoms without much protection." I tell him. He sighs a bit at this and takes a bit of time to answer me.
"Seeing as you are going to be in a major political position on your own, and would be taking most of the responsibilities of a king, there is more danger for you to worry about because of this… and currently since Clementine will be the new Queen she also has more of a so called bounty on her head because she is married to you, and going out there on your own would be an easy target, and I know you use to be a knight Violet and I know you can handle yourself but we both know people will do anything to get to you…. I trusted Clementine with you because you weren't like the male knights where as in, they might have tried to take advantage of her." He explained and I sighed a bit.
"So, I could never really leave, could I?" I asked him.
"You can, when we have to go to other kingdoms, which by the way Javie has invited us all to Richmond in celebration to yours and Clementine's marriage." He tells me and I look to him.
"When?"
"Tomorrow, we leave tonight." He tells me and I look to him and I nod.
"Ok… should we bring any papers with us?" I asked.
"No, this is a time to celebrate… though I would have loved to have been part of the ceremony we can have a redo of the wedding in a few months." He says and I look to him.
"Do not worry I will still recognize the original wedding date as is, this is just for formalities." He tells me and I nod at this. We get back to work before lunch rolls around and we head to the dining hall and I see Clementine and smile as I go over to her and kiss her cheek gently and she looks at me and kisses my check back and I smiled at her as I take a seat.
"So, your father says we will be heading to Richmond for a bit of a party." I tell her.
"Oh? That's interesting." She says and looks to Lee who nods.
"Well, Javie wanted to celebrate your marriage, also in a few months we ill be having a sort of redo to your wedding just for a formality Clementine, I still recognize yours and Violet's wedding date as is stated on your documents, this is just so everyone knows and so Violet can invite her family to the ceremony as well." Lee tells her and she nods.
"Not to be rude father but will you be stepping down when that happens?" She asked.
"Yes, I will, but if Violet needs help, then I can assist as best as I can." He says and I nod at this and I look to see Minerva on the side and I looked to my food a bit and eat the fruit that was given.
"Ok, then we can have some time to prepare." Clem says and I nod in agreement.
"I can send the wedding invites to my family sometime next week." I tell her.
"I can invite all our friends too." Clem says and I nod and smile at her. When we finished our food Lee and I had decided to get some things packed up for the trip and I take a breath as Clementine comes into the room and places her hands on my shoulders and rubs them a bit and I sighed.
"You, ok?" She asked.
"Yes, I am fine Clem, just… tired is all." I tell her.
"You will get use to it. I know you will be great at this, just think as if you were a knight again." She says and I nod a bit to this and I take a breath.
"I just hope Gabe doesn't start anything." I muttered.
"He won't, he will have to answer to my father if that is to happen." She says and I feel her hands move away and I look at her.
"Your father can be scary when it comes to your happiness." I laughed a bit and so does she.
"Oh yes my father is a very scary man when it comes to my happiness and safety, you know that first hand." She say and I look to her and I nod.
"Yea… yea I do, oh uh, do we have to wear anything special?" I asked her.
"As far as I know if there is a party, you will need to wear your best outfit, with our crest of course and you may bring your sword, but for decorations only, you cannot take it out." She tells me and I look to her.
"I know better than to pull out my sword to a royal if that's what you mean." I tell her.
"Well considering now that you will be a royal… just don't pull your sword out, if Gabe wants to try and fight you just stay by me and keep your hand to your sides." She tells me and I nod.
"Are Royals allowed to draw their swords?" I asked a bit curious; it was strange learning these new rules and I want to make sure I am good on the information.
"Yes, they are but I know you are better than that." She tells me.
"But if he threatens you with a sword?" I asked her.
"He wont but if he does… then you are allowed to take your sword out." She tells me.
"What if he threatens your honor?" I asked.
"No, you will not draw your sword at that." She tells me.
"But-."
"But nothing, I do not care for my honor." She says.
"But I do, I always have and you know that." I tell her.
"Yes, but right now we need people to see that you are going to take the new role in a respectable manner, in Macon the king has never drawn his sword to others." She tells me and I look down at her and I shake my head a bit.
"So, I would be the first because you and I both know that Gabe is not a respectable person." I tell her.
"I know… I know, but please for me, just keep the peace as best as you can." She tells me and I nod a bit at this and I rubbed my neck some more and Clementine swats my hand away.
"You're going to rub your nek raw." She says and pulls the back collar of my shirt and she sighed.
"And you have, let me get some medicine for it." She says as she forces me to take a seat on the bed and I looked to the door of the bathroom as she went in. she comes back out a few minutes later and she goes behind the bed and I feel her get on it. I turn a bit and she moves my head back in place and I sighed a bit at this and I take a breath as I feel something cold on my neck.
"What is that?" I asked.
"Some new medicine from the town of Wellington, it's supposed to help with burns and stuff, and I think it should work for you and your neck." She tells me and I nod a bit as I feel her rub the medicine more. I close my eyes a bit and I feel her move her hands down more and I smiled a bit and chuckled.
"You know we can't do that right now Clem." I say as she kisses the side of my neck and I straighten up a bit at the feeling.
"I don't think dad would mind if we are a few minutes late…. Besides we haven't had our honeymoon yet." She says and I chuckled and I turn to look at her.
"We can do that later, but right now we have to get things packed up and ready." I tell her.
"Alright, alright, I hear you." She says and I smiled and I kissed her.
"Alright let's get packed up." I say and we both do just that. I had grabbed our things and set them in the carriage and I look to Lee who was ready to go and I looked to the front a bit then to Clementine.
"You sit back here with us." She says and I was about to rub my neck before she glared at me a bit and I moved my hand away as I get in the carriage and sit next to Clementine and I look to Lee who nods. The carriage begins to move and I look out the window a bit to watch the scenery.
"You like the traveling hu?" I her Lee ask and I look to him and I nod at the question.
"Yes, it's fun to travel, it's part of the reason I became a Knight when I did." I tell him and I began to stutter.
"A-and to also protect the princess and the king along with the kingdom and it's people, the number one rule of a knight." I say and Clementine and Lee both laugh at this.
"I thought the number one rule was to not die?" Lee says and I look to him.
"No sir, protecting our kingdom and our king and his heirs is the number one rule well, an unwritten rule I suppose, if we die then we die protecting our Kingdom." I tell him.
"Is that why you were so protective of my daughter?" He says and I nod a bit.
"Yes, well partly, I have loved Clementine for a long time as I have said to you before, I would do anything to keep her safe." I tell him.
"Good, I'm glad you say that, someone else might have said differently." Lee says.
"I think Violet knows that she didn't like Gabe flirting with me." She says and I look at her.
"I understand what you meant about Gabe, in all honesty he doesn't seem fit to be a king, or to have married Clementine." He says and I nod a little at this.
"I just… he's stuck up is all I can say." I muttered and he nods at this.
"I know, that's why I made that law." He says. We finally get to the kingdom of Richmond in record timing, though I did take the long route so Clem could see more of the lands, when we get to the kingdom Javie greets us and I nod to him and shake his hand.
"You and Clem will be in the west wing of the castle; I'll have the servants bring your things to your room." He tells us.
"No, it's ok, I can take our things." I tell him and Lee nods to him.
"She's use to it, let her." Lee tells him and Javie nods and lets me grab our things. We finally made it to our room and we set our things to the side and I lay on the bed and I feel Clementine lay next to me and I smile as she comes close to me and I close my eyes a bit.
"We should change." I hear her mutter and I nod but we don't move.
"Yea… we should." I muttered as well. But in the end we both ended up falling asleep on the bed before we could change our clothes.
