(Violet's Pov)
I was just sitting in the darkness not knowing what to do. I had my thoughts but that can only last so long when you have nothing to do. I kept an eye out for Sophie if she ever came back that is, I doubt she will but I wouldn't be surprised if she did come back. I just tried to keep calm as I waited and waited, I have no idea how long I was waiting, minutes? Hours? Days? I won't know until I actually woke up.
"Kind of sad being stuck here hu?" I heard and looked to see Sophie again and I nod at this.
"Do you know how long it will take for me to get back to normal? I mean as normal as I can get." I say and she just shrugged.
"I have no clue; I have never been in a situation like this before." She says and I nod as I tried to keep calm.
"Though I think now you should be able to hear what's going on." She tells me and I tried to listen but heard nothing and I shake my head.
"I just want to get back." I muttered.
"I know, it'll take some time but you'll be back soon." She tells me and I nod a bit as I just sit and look around the darkness as best as I could.
"So have you been here since you died?" I asked and she shook her head a bit.
"No, I come and go as I please, it takes some time but since I'm dead I have lots of time to spare." She says and I just nod. What else could I do?
"Can I ask a question?" I asked.
"You did, but go ahead." She says and I chuckled a bit at this and I take a breath.
"There has been a shadow person… it scared my daughter and son… can you tell me anything about that?" I asked.
"Not much to tell in all honesty, sometimes shadow people were once living and are now dead… they want to meet their loved ones that are still alive or they could be a spy that works for people." She says and I nod.
"So, they could be good or bad?" I asked and she nods.
"Yes, sometimes my sister will see me, it freaks her out but I understand why." She tells me and I nod at this.
"So, about me seeing my family?" I asked her and she giggled at this.
"… Maybe you won't have to wait long." She says and I see a light and I opened my eyes and looked around the room a bit not getting up.
"Oh my god, she's awake." I hear and look to see Clementine looking at me then she hugged me and I put one arm around her.
"Hmm, sorry my body still hurts." I tell her quietly and she nods and pulls back a bit and looks at me.
"Sorry, sorry it's just, you've been out for two weeks." She says and I look to her.
"Two weeks?" I asked and she nods and I try to sit up a bit but she stopped me.
"No lay down, you're still injured." She says and I move my hand to my neck and felt the bandages and I lay back and nod a bit.
"I think… I should be fine." I tell her and she looked to me.
"You didn't wake up for two weeks, I was afraid you were dead." She says and I look to her and I was going to make a comment on it but decided not to. I grabbed her hand and she looked to me and I take a breath and look to see Minerva walking in and I nod to her.
"The kids are sleeping Queen Clementine." She tells her and Clementine nods as Minerva comes over to me and checks my bandages.
"I thought, trying to kill me by cutting my head wouldn't work." I tell her and she looked to me.
"I don't know what happened, maybe that Witch is losing their power?" She asked and I looked to her a bit and nod.
"Maybe… uh, Clem could I talk to Minerva alone?" I asked.
"Yea uh, I'll go and get you something to eat, you have to be hungry." She says and I nod as she gets up and leaves the room and I look to Minerva and she looked back to me.
"I have no idea what's going on you might be urning human again I have no clue, just be careful is all I have to say on it." She tells me.
"I know this is around the time your sister died." I tell her and she looked to me.
"How?" She asked.
"Talked to her… while I was… asleep?" I asked.
"… Prove it." She says.
"She loved it when you sang 'Don't Be Afraid'" I tell her and she looked to me and bit and nods.
"I only sang that to her and Tenn." She says and I look at her.
"Tenn.?" I asked and she nods.
"My little brother… I don't know where he is at." She says and I look to her.
"We can find him after all this… if you want." I tell her and she looks at me.
"You would still want me around here?" She asked and I look t the side a bit then back to her.
"I mean… if you are willing to change some things in your life, like not tricking people into basically selling their soul to you… I mean you make a good doctor." I tell her.
"I will have to think on it… but thank you for the offer." She says and I nod then Clementine opens the door and brought in some food and I sit up a bit and lean my back on the headboard of the bed as she comes over to me and places the tray down and I nod to her.
"Thank you." I say to her and kiss her cheek and she nods and takes a seat next to me and I smiled at her. Minerva left the room to go do something and I ate a little of the food and drank the water. I then looked to Clementine as I tried to give her some food as well but she would refuse.
"I'm ok, I ate already." She tells me and I nod.
"So, uh… how's the uh… little one?" I asked as I looked to her stomach then back to her and she looked to me.
"How… they're fine." She says and I smiled and nodded. I finished the food and water and she moved the tray and I look to her.
"What about Mary and AJ?" I asked.
"They are fine as well… though I don't think we were supposed to come back here." She tells me and I look at her and I nod a bit.
"Yea, you and the kids were supposed to head to Rose Kingdom but because of how Gabe attacked Prescott I thin Mitch thought it wa best if you three returned home, with the law I made making people show identifications of their kingdom, Gabe and the New Frontier can't risk getting caught that way." I tell her and she nods.
"Ok… this is getting out of hand." She says and I nod.
"I… look I know Clementine but-."
"Don't say there is nothing you can't do because we both know that's not true." She says and I looked to my lap and took a breath.
"Ok… what do you have planned?" I asked and I looked at her.
"I don't want any blood spilt but we know that's impossible at this point, I know you don't want to give me up." She says and I look at her.
"No, that won't ever happen, and don't try to plan that behind my back." I tell her and she nods at this and I sighed.
"I'm sorry… I don't mean to get angry I just don't want you to give yourself up to some crazy whack job son of a bitch." I say and placed my hand on my neck as it hurt and I groaned a bit.
"Does it hurt?" She asked and I nodded a bit.
"Yea just… give me a bit on it… fuck." I muttered as I moved my hand away and was glad the wound wasn't open in any way. I sighed and looked to Clementine a bit as she still looked to me worried.
"I'm ok… I swear." I tell her and she still looked worried.
"I should get Minerva and Ruby." She says and I grabbed her hand before she left.
"No, please don't go." I tell her and she looked to me and nods. She takes her seat and I look at her and I rubbed her hand a bit. I didn't want to be left alone again.
"We could attack them in their kingdom, not the civilians, unless need be." She says and I look to my lap again and close my eyes to think a bit.
"We have no clue what is being said… what's happened since I was out?" I asked her.
"Nothing much, Mary has been worried about you, AJ doesn't know what's going on, Louis came by a few times to check in on you, along with the others, Ruby, Brody, Marlon, Omar, and Aasim." She tells me and I nod a bit.
"Lee hasn't… he's been dealing with some things since you've been out of it." She says.
"Is he mad?" I asked her and I opened my eyes to look at her as she shook her head.
"No, no he is not mad at all, he's… well he was wondering why I was in the middle of a battle in some armor along with a dagger and your old sword." She says and I sighed a bit at this.
"I guess he wasn't too happy with you and I going behind his back and letting me train to fight." She says and I look at her and I chuckled.
"Still think you can beat me in a match?" I asked and she looked to me and smirked and she nods.
"I haven't won yet, but I will." She says and we both laughed at this. I looked to her a bit and she looks to my hand a bit and I sit up a bit more in the bed.
"Ok… we are going to have to have everyone in the planning room, and we can talk from there about all this." I say as I get up a bit but Clem stops me and I look to her.
"You need to rest." She says and I shake my head.
"No, we need to get this done now." I say and I get up a bit before she places her hands on my chest to stop me and I look at her more.
"Violet, you need to rest, you got hurt people will understand." She tells me and I shake my head again and look to her.
"No, they won't, they never do… and I just want to get this over with." I tell her and she sighs and nods as I get up and there is a knock on the door. Clementine goes to open it and I had just gotten a shirt on with some pants. I look to see Lee and I finished getting dressed.
"You're up." He says and I nod a bit then hold my neck and I walked out past him.
"We need everyone to meet in the war room, need to end this now." I say and I head to the war room. I grabbed all the papers we had books, maps, everything and I set it all up and looked around the papers to plan something out. I scratched my head a bit and I looked to the door as it opened and I see Duck and the others enter.
"Nice to see you're up, how are you?" Duck asked and I shrugged a bit.
"Neck still hurts like hell but can't do anything about that." I say.
"Other than rest up." I hear and look to Clementine and I shake my head a bit and held my neck again at this point and I take a breath.
"I thought you said getting cut doesn't affect you?" Sarah asked.
"Things are messing up, messing up real bad." I say as I look to them.
"What happened?" Duck says and I look at him.
"I will explain when we get more people in… I'm not going to repeat this again." I muttered as I grabbed papers and pencils and we all waited for everyone to come in. once we had most the people in the room I looked to everyone.
"Mind explaining why my daughter was battling in Prescott?" Lee asked and I looked to him.
"Dad." Clem says and he looked to her and I looked to them both and sighed and cleared my throat.
"Ok, Clem wanted to fight an I couldn't stop her, I taught her the basics and she is fine, right now we need to figure out how to take out both Gabe and the New Frontier Kingdom, I will not be having anyone telling me I am an idiot, I will not have anyone not wanting to fight, I will have no arguments, I am tired of the arguing and the fighting and I want this as much done with as everyone else in the room. Are we understood?" I asked and some nod and I look to Carlos.
"We aren't going to have any issues are we?" I asked and they all looked to me.
"No." some of them said and I looked back to the papers.
"What happened with you not being able to die?" Carlos asked and I look to him.
"Dad." Sarah warned and I take another breath.
"No she said it was hard to kill her, now look she was out of it for two weeks." He says and I look to him.
"Gabe hurt me enough to the point where my body had to take some time to heal." I explained.
"You said you didn't need time to heal." He says.
"I never said that I said it was hard to kill me, but some things have changed and will change over time, I will look more into it but right now we need to figure out what the fuck we are going to do with Gabe." I say pissed as I glare at Carlos.
"I will not be involved in this, this is your war not ours." He says as he stands up and I go up to his face.
"I don't care who the hell you think you are Carlos but this is going to be your war sooner or later, Gabe attacked a kingdom that hasn't been involved in wars for a long time since it was established, he wont hesitate to go after everyone else here, and don't you fucking dare blame me for his actions because I know about your kingdoms issues with old Bill." I tell him and he looked to me with wide eyes.
"Think I didn't know hu?" I asked and he looked to the others then back to me.
"What is she talking about?" Kenny asked.
"Nothing." Carlos says.
"Nothing? You want to lie to these people, not tell them something they should know about Bill… actually he goes by Carver now, priest in Macon… his records burnt-."
"Ok… don't say any more." He says.
"No, I think these people should know the kind of man you let live." I tell him.
"Carlos… what is she talking about?" Lee asked and I glare at him.
"Tell them… come on, you didn't like that I kept a secret so spill yours." I tell him but he doesn't say a word.
"What's going on?" I hear and look to Marlon.
"Did you do as the letter asked?" I asked him.
"Yea we have Carver locked up… what's going on?" He asked again and I look to Carlos.
"Carver, also known as Bill, was king of Howe's, Carlos and a group of people he was with took over the kingdom, had Carvers records burnt that's why we couldn't find shit on him, why he has a god damn God complex, why he took women for his own gain, and you failed to tell anyone about it." I say to him.
"What does that have to do with Gabe?" Carlos asked and I smirked.
"Carvers been watching for Gabe… that's how he knew about Clementine being hidden… now how he knew about Prescott, well we are just going to have to ask him… he's been watching her for a while." I tell Carlos and he looked to me.
"Mind telling me why a man who takes women would be looking at Clementine since she was a little girl?" I asked him and he looked to me then to the ground.
"Mind telling me why the hell you would allow such a man to still be alive in this world… wonder if you'd be acting differently if he was looking at Sarah." I say and he looked to me.
"Is this true Carlos?" Lee asked.
"Yes, but we didn't think he would be a priest, we didn't think he would be looking at anyone." He says and I look to him.
"Yes, but keeping this a secret, is a bit problematic." I say and he glared at me.
"You're one to talk, you kept the fact that you were a walker from everyone." He says.
"Be that as it may I was doing it to keep everyone safe your secret on the other hand wasn't keeping people safe, I understand that you wouldn't want to hurt people but him on the other hand, you should have locked him up at least." I tell him.
"Fine we messed up big time, but right now we are in a bit of a problematic situation." He says and I nod.
"We can talk about this later." I tell him and we all began to plan out some ways to defeat Gabe and the New Frontier. Then there was a knock on the door.
"Come in." Lee says and we look up to see Minerva.
"Uh, King Violet, we need to check on your bandages." She tells me and I nod as I get up and walk over to her and we leave the room. We go to the medic room and I take a seat in the chair and look to Minerva as she gets the bandages. She takes the old ones off and I am able t see the extent of the wound in the mirror and I sighed a bit.
"Yes, it takes you longer to heal especially with this type of wound." She tells me and I nod.
"You lied about Carver." She says and I chuckled at this.
"Yes, but Marlon played along, he's going to get him now since he got this information." I tell her.
"You think he's really watching for Gabe?" She asked.
"Hmm, no but him staring at Clementine when I had gotten back home from battling the Delta… it's weird he has to be behind it somehow, I mean think of it, he has easy access to give anyone on the outskirts of the kingdom information, he lives here so the others don't have to come in or be seen near here… he hates the hell out of me so it gives him a motive." I explained to her as she placed the bandages on my neck and I hissed in pain when the medicine was put on with the bandages.
"You, ok?" She asked and I nod a bit at this and held the bandages a bit.
"Yea just… it hurt." I muttered.
"Hurt?" She asked and I nod at this.
"Yea… hmm it's been hurting for a bit." I tell her and she looked to me.
"Must be enough pain to make you feel but I'll look into it." She says and I nod as I get up and I head back to the others. I go in and take a seat next to Clementine as I held my neck a bit and she looked to me and I whisper in her ear.
"Minerva is looking into it don't worry." I tell her and she nods.
"I think we should get some explosives." Duck says and I look to him and I think.
"We can get them to the mountain area and blow the hell out of it." He says and I nod.
"But you would be destroying someone's land and maybe home." Carlos says.
"No… not these mountains." I say and circle the mountains over in the abandon lands, mostly thieves go there but it's a ghost kingdom at this point.
"You want to go there?" Lee asked and I nodded.
"None of the other kingdoms would be destroyed, this is an abandon kingdom it's the best place we have so no civilians can get hurt." I tell them.
"When should we do this?" Kenny asked.
"As soon as we can." I say to them.
"You're still injured." Clem says and I nod a bit.
"Yes, but the faster we do this the faster this can all end… I don't want to fight for years like before." I simply say. Everyone then left the room and I get up and Clementine and I go and head to our children. We see them taking a nap in the playroom and I look at them through the door and Clem stands next to me.
"How's the little one?" I asked her as I looked to the kids.
"Not too sure yet, I don't know much about this so I'll have to ask the nurse soon." She tells me and I nod at this.
"You aren't going to go, are you?" she asked and I just kept my eyes on the kids.
"You know I am; I've said it before and I will say it again." I tell her.
"Then I will too." She says and I shake my head at this.
"No, you will not, not while you're… carrying, plus you have Mary and AJ to look after." I tell her.
"And you know they love you too, and they would be heart broken if you were to leave them." She tells me and I think on it.
"I won't be long and I won't die out there… unless Gabe has something up his sleaves but right no he is being irrational, like a fussy child." I tell her.
"Everything's changed to much." She says to me and I nod.
"I am sorry." I tell her.
"And why do you feel the need to say that?" She asked and I looked to her.
"Your life has changed a lot since I came back home from Crawford, ever since we went to Richmond Kingdom, everything… it's affected you and everyone else here and I feel like I've caused all these issues just by being alive… maybe nature is trying to fix what was supposed to happen I have no clue." I tell her.
"That could be true, but it's not your fault at all, the Witch who did this to you and the Delta who made her do it is to blame, though I understand why you are on good terms with them now it's just… as I have said before it's complicated but we will get through this like we always do." She tells me and I nod. We decided to actually go into the room and I go look at Mary as she held a stuffed toy, I smiled at her and I looked to Clementine who was looking at AJ as he slept in his crib and I think a bit before I heard some movement and I look down to see Mary getting up. She looked to me and smiled a bit and I chuckled s I rubbed her head when she decided to lay her head on my leg. I look to Clementine who smiled as she came over to us and she took a seat next to me. I looked down to Mary who had fallen back to sleep and I rubbed her head gently and looked to Clementine as she watched this.
"She adores you." She tells me and I nod at this.
"Think she'll want to be a knight like me?" I asked and Clementine looked to me. I was about to apologize for even stating that but she stopped me.
"If she wants to be a knight then she can be, same with AJ, I will worry a lot though, I still have to worry with you." She says and pokes my head and I smiled a bit.
"I wouldn't stop them from doing something they'd want to do in their life, I'm not cruel." She says.
"I wasn't saying you were but I understand… I'd worry too if they ever took that job, I know what it's like and I don't want the same thing to happen to them that happened to me." I tell Clementine the truth.
"Well, that's what being a parent is all about… Lee worried a lot about me when I first came here, the people I would be around, who was good to be around who was bad, he would worry if he didn't know where I was, he got a bit… not controlling but he wanted to know where I was because he was scared if I ever went missing." She says and looked to Mary.
"I know, it would seem that way to most kids, but your dad became a bit lenient when you got older, well old enough to make your own choices." I tell her and she nods.
"Though he can still act like a dad when the time comes… he was worried when he saw me wearing your chest plate." She says and I nod.
"Yea I would be worried too if Mary was wearing one, holding a sword in a burning kingdom fighting people who really want us dead." I say and Clementine nods.
"But you and I both know that you would have her trained properly to keep herself safe." She tells me and I chuckled as I rubbed Mary's head more.
"I would do it more so that she could keep boys at bay, who would want to mess with a girl that is not only the king's daughter but knows how to fight." I say and Clem shoves me a bit and I look to her.
"You were brave enough to mess with the king's daughter." She tells me and I turn red at this.
"I uh, well I mean… we both love each other so I mean." I tried to say but she giggled a bit and I smiled at her as she kissed my cheek a bit.
"You know what I mean." She says and I nod.
"Yea… I do." I quietly say to myself and I lean on the wall a bit as I relaxed. Clem decided she would start to rub my head too and I lean into her hand and I closed my eyes.
"You getting tired?" she asked.
"Hmm you know rubbing my head makes me tired." I muttered and I felt Clem move a bit and I look to her as she motioned for me to lay my head on her lap. I think a bit as I move Mary a bit and I lay her on my chest just as I laid my head on Clementine's lap. I closed my eyes as I felt Clementine rub my head and I rubbed Mary's head at the same time. It wasn't long maybe an hour or so before I heard the door open and I crack open my eyes to see Sarah and the others come in. I closed my eyes a bit and then look up to Clementine as she looked down to me after she saw the others come in.
"So that meeting." Duck says and I hummed a bit.
"Is Carver really locked up?" Sarah asked.
"Yea, Marlon has him locked up, we will have t talk to him later, see what all he knows or if he's involved." I muttered and I feel Clementine cover my eyes a bit and I sighed as I tried to relax.
"How are the kids?" Mariana asked.
"They're good, sleeping as you can see." Clem responds and I nod at this. I took a deep breath and I felt Mary grip my shirt a bit as she muttered something as she picked her head up a bit. Clem moved her hand from my eyes and I look to Mary who gets up slowly and then gets off of me. She yawned a bit and looked to Clementine a bit and ten goes and leans on her.
"She must still be tired." Sarah says.
"Yes, she wouldn't sleep when Violet was still unconscious." Clementine explained.
"Poor thing." Mariana says and I looked to Mary who had fallen back to sleep. I felt sad at the fact that the little girl didn't sleep when I was unconscious, she shouldn't have to worry about me like that.
"How's the neck?" Duck asked and I hummed a bit.
"Hurts, but I have a doctor looking into it… just got to make sure I have something protective around my neck from now on." I explained to him.
"We know that Gabe could have talked to a Witch at this time, maybe the same one that turned you… they might make more Walkers like you for the battle." Duck says and I get up quickly and look to him.
"I didn't think about that… we're going to have to tell the others when we go back to the meeting room, but the issue is, the walkers might be a bit more durable than me." I tell him and he nods and holds his book.
"That's why I wanted to take notes on you, if they aren't like you than we can add more information so future generations can figure out anything about this if it's to happen again, plus new information doesn't hurt." He says as he writes some stuff down.
"We will have to talk more at another time, right now we should just take our break and relax." Sarah suggested and I agree with her on this as I lay back down on Clementine's lap. I felt her run her hands through my hair and I lean my head to the side away from the others as I start to fall asleep. Or at least try to fall asleep.
