A/U: This is more an introductory chapter. My character doesn't have much significance until the Titans Curse.
Hey there! In case I wasn't clear, I am NOT Zeus. Neither is Zeus the god of making babies.
This is normally where authors would give me an introduction so here it goes.
Today. I was taking the form of a 16 year old boy with straight brown hair wearing a T-shirt with the Hunters of Artemis on it, hunting an animal (a boy). My name is Kath (emphasis on the italic name).
Now, I am not a God. I am not divine. I am not powerful enough to be a God.
I'm actually somewhere in between. Like, between mortal and God. I can change myself magically but not others. I can't die of old age or disease but I can die to external sources (Say, one of Zeus' lightning bolts).
So, as it was, I was just chilling at the Big House at Camp Half-Blood, playing pinochle with Chiron and Dionysus when this one pipsqueak demigod went right up to Chiron and said "Mr. Brunner?"
I raised an eyebrow to Chiron.
"Hello, Percy," He turned to me, "This is the Demigod I've been watching."
Uh huh, I thought. This particular kid had raven black hair, a tan and a shirt which looked 3 sizes to big for him. Giving a quick guesstimate of him, I figured he was around 10 - 12. He didn't look like much
Then again, Hercules hadn't looked like much when he was 12.
"So, uh, you work here Mr. Brunner?" Percy asked.
"Mr. Brunner... I'm afraid that was a pseudonym. You may call me Chiron." Chiron replied.
"And you are?" Percy said to Dionysus.
"You may call me Mr. D," Dionysus replied, probably trying to hide his hatred of demigods.
"What does that stand for?"
Before Dionysus could get impatient with this 12 year old, I decided to save this boy from being turned into a dolphin by saying: "None of your business"
"Okay," Percy said, not understanding that I had just saved him from being turned into a sea animal.
After this short conversation, Chiron explained why he had enrolled as a teacher at Yancy Academy, Grover was asked if he knew how to play Pinochle, and Dionysus managed to lose to Chiron despite cheating several times. Sure, I also cheated a bit but Mr. D definetely broke the rules more than me.
Time Change: Capture da flag
Naturally, participating in CTF wasn't a mandatory thing for me, considering that I could leave the camp without Chiron or Dionysus' permission.
But I wanted to see how the new boy managed half of the Ares' team at once (it was so easy to eavesdrop on those kids) so I signed up to help the Ares' team.
Naturally, I was assigned to defense. Naturally, I captured the distraction and managed to lose the flag. Naturally, I did this all to make Ares lose.
Naturally, I couldn't see if Percy has succeeded fighting off the Ares team.
As a result, I was threatened with dismemberment by Clarisse for losing the flag but I wasn't scared. The big girl would instantly lose in a fight what with my archery skills.
What wasn't natural was the hellhound that almost ripped Percy's face off, him being claimed by Poseidon, going on a quest, Actually succeeding the quest, not getting blasted by Zeus, and getting back to camp without a major injury.
