'Urk, what happened?' I thought, as I gained back consciousness. The last thing I remember was going into sleep mode in my star ship, after collecting a recent bounty. I had set my ship to auto pilot and before I closed my eyes. All six eyes were still operational, so they had been alright. But before closing my eyes, I think I saw a worm hole or something opening just right outside my star ship.
That could mean that my ship was swallowed by it, which could be very bad for me. But I have no clue where I could've ended up in the universe if that were the case.
{Pilot program: survey the star system we have ended up in, we are in a sticky situation. We only have enough dark energy fuel to make this approximate number of jumps: 800.}
{Organic companion program: survey the system to find any traces of organic civilization!}
'Alright, alright, I'll survey the star system!' I yelled at the core's attached to my programming.
I moved to activate the system scanner on the control panel and pushed the lever to scan the system.
'Ok, let's see here... one habitable planet... a spaceship just entered the star system... an invasion force attacking a colony on said habitable planet... wait what?' I checked again... 'Oh, yeah there's an invasion force attacking that one planet over there... let's see what they're designs are.' I thought as I moved scan the ships.
Ok, from what the scanner is saying, these ships were built by a race of synthetics called "the geth" and it seems that their basing their fleet around one giant robot squid. And from the coding that I can hack into without getting detected, the giant robot squid is called "Nazara". And it seems that they're attacking an... human colony-
{Organic Companion Program: THE HUMANS REQUIRE OUR ASSISTANCE! WE MUST HELP THE HUMANS! WARFORM, FLY YOUR SELF TO THE COLONY AND SAVE THEM!} The companion program screamed at me, giving me an artificial headache.
{Pilot program: Shut it, OCP! We have no clue what the humans of this time-period or designated universe view on Artificial Intelligence, and we yet to not hack into their communication network to see what the difference in society is. It would be reckless of us to jump in willy nilly, and save civilians.} Reasoned the pilot program.
{Organic defender program: IT IS OF NO MATTER. THE WARFORM WAS DESIGNED TO WITH TWO PURPOSES IN MIND, ONE: PROTECT ORGANIC CIVILIZATION FROM ALL THREATS, TWO: DESTROY ANY AND ALL THREATS TO THE EXISTENCE OF ORGANIC LIFE, WHETHER IT BE ELDTRITCH, ANCIENT, ARTIFICAL, OTHER ORGANIC CIVILIZATIONS, EXSISTENSIAL, OR STELLAR BODIES AND ETC. THE WARFORM IS THE MOST ADVANCED ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE OUR CREATORS HAVE EVER PROGRAMED AND BUILT, IT WOULD BE A WASTE IF WE DIDN'T USE THIS OPPORTUNITY TO OBSERVE WHAT THIS THREAT IS CAPABLE OF, AND ELIMINATE ANY AND ALL TRACES OF IT.} The Organic Defender Program practically yelled at me.
"Ok, all of you, shut your traps, I'll go help the humans, but last I checked the humans were not capable of galactic travel and were in a giant civil war with a whole new species that popped up... I think they were called Saurians." I commented, as the current year was 2064, and it would be some time before I would make my way back home, maybe 2099, and I swear, if Claw Guk gets into a suicidal position, I will slap him besides the head.
Grabbing the flight controls, I flew my star ship towards the planet, activating all the cloaking devices on board, making my ship invisible to all.
'Ok, let's see here, we've managed to hack into this thing called the extranet, and here it says that artificial intelligence is outlawed across the entire galaxy, quite possibly the Geth kicking the quarians off their home world, Rannoch being the main cause, but that seems to be inconsistent with from what other sources are telling me, that AI were outlawed way before the Geth were created. So, that forces me to don my face mask to at least pass off as an unidentified alien species, so that the humans and other organic races just don't shoot me off the bat. The face mask was just a glass panel that was glaze on the outside to hide what I truly looked like, because on several occasions, I have visited worlds where they haven't even developed Robots or AI at all. It seems that this colony is a colony of the human nation called the systems alliance, and there is no mention of Saurians whatsoever. And now I'm picking up a distress call from one Ashly Williams, a woman involved in the military forces, I'm going to have to land from a certain distance away before... you know what, what I can activate auto-pilot and go help her now.' I thought as I activated auto-pilot, and got up, grabbed my blood red jacket and face mask, and grabbed two of my dark energy pistols that I normally use to duel wield, and then my dark energy sniper rifle, or how the weapon manufacturers named it, the Dread Arc, which I have refused to call it, even after a million years of owning it. Then I walked over to the door hatch and pushed the button to open the door.
As it opened, I proceeded to run out of the door and into the new environment of this planet. And then I jumped.

While the war form joined in on the battlefield, the Normandy had just received the distress signal and were about to send in spectre nihlus, and commander Shepard and Jenkins and Kaiden. They were all in the hanger bay, and it seemed like Nihlus was going to go a head of the commander's squad.
"Nihlus? You're coming with us?" asked Jenkins, as he looked over to the Turian.
"I move faster on my own." he replied, as he walked off the Normandy.
"Nihlus will scout out ahead. He'll feed you status reports throughout the mission; otherwise, I want radio silence." Captain Anderson informed the three.
"Ready at all times, captain." responded commander Jane Shepard.
"The mission's yours now, Shepard. Good luck." Anderson told her.
And that was when they reached the second drop point, then they were there on their own.
Meanwhile...
Point of view: The Warform
As I touched the ground, I raised both of my pistols and shot at the geth that were in my line of sight, and from the surrounding environment, the geth had deployed these spike things and had placed humans on top of them.
{Organic companion program: THESE MACHINES HAVE HARMED INNOCENT ORGANICS! Organic defender, what is the verdict for the unwanted murder and disturbing the bodies of organics?} asked OCP, or as I have been calling her for a long-time now, Rochelle.
{Organic defender: THE VERDICT FOR DISTURBING THE DEAD OF ORGANICS IS LONG TERM DEACTIVATION TO THAT OF THE OFFENDER. THE MURDER OF ORGANICS WAS ASSIGNED THE FOLLOWING PUNISHMENT: DECAPITATION AND THEN DEATH! THESE SO CALLED GETH SHALL BE RIGHTFULLY PUNISHED!} Replied OD, or as I refer to him as, O-dipious.
{Pilot Program: well, I'm just going to sit back until I'm needed, until then, I'll be playing the human videogame called: ping pong.} Commented the Pilot Program, or as I referred to it as Jester.
Of course, the programs do not address the other programs under such names, but they do respond to me whenever I address them. They're not all that bright, each one of them were designed and programmed for a different role. Rochelle was designed to help me interact with Organics and prevent me from harming any 'innocent' Organics. Though there are sometimes when her programming is just outright annoying, because whenever I'm around any organic juveniles, Rochelle tries and fails to directly take control of my body, in order to care for the organic children. She loves babies of any organic species, is all you need to know. And whenever I am around Teenagers, Rochelle screams at me to interact with the teenager, just whenever the teenager is in distress, like for example, worrying about the health and safety of their crush. Though that is just an example, but I haven't had it happen to me just yet, so I'm hoping I can keep this running streak going.
O-dipious was designed to force me to help and protect organics, as it would be unnecessary for a war form like myself to just not care about organic life. So, he was designed to make sure I actually did my job, instead of just listening to music. He's also a dick, because he always yells when he vocalizes. I was also designed to be quite addictive to music and culture made by organic civilizations, so that I would at least have some reason to protect all organic life. Yeah, they made a robot addicted to music, don't sue me, sue my creators... who are dead. And no, I didn't kill them, something else did, it's called time.
Jester was designed in order to help me pilot any star ship, whether it be of my creator's design or just any design, it doesn't matter. He's the only program that I wish was his own AI and had his own body, to which he once was and once did. Thing about Rochelle, O-dipious, and Jester is this: They all used to be people, but they're brains were majorly damaged, leaving only enough time to scan certain areas of their brains. Rochelle had kept her caring and motherly nature, O-dipious kept his stubbornness, and Jester kept his cool and chill side. I actually met them in the first week of being created, all three of them were in fact, janitors. But by the end of that day, they had all received extensive damages, and I had offered to install them, or what was left of them, into my system.
Then there's the warrior Program... she... her name was Awaris, she was the first person I laid my eyes on, she was the first person I met... She was a Verfex, an ant-like species that were responsible for creating me. She was... deactivated due to... complications. But the main reason being that after my "original mission" was completed, her programming was no longer needed, and her programming was turned off. I can still remember her last words to me before she went into deactivation. "Activate me... when you are in the toughest and darkest moment of a war you have decided to join in on... don't be afraid to... activate me..." were her last words, trying to comfort me.
All three of the other programs also had previous names as well, Jester used to be Jimmy and was a part of a species that were related to modern day humans. Jimmy was much hairier than that of a human of today, and had a tail, which humans no longer have. Rochelle used to be named Serafae, she was a Toupheu, a race of intelligent penguin like species who were a part of a client state that served the verfex. Then there was O-dipious, he... was a Bullov, a species of intelligent Bulls. But that was a long-time ago, sadly.
But back to the present, I moved to where I was hearing more guns going off, leaping and shooting any Geth that come across me, ensuring none are left alive.
I also just happened to arrive to the one named Ashley Williams, who was currently running from some Geth and Geth drones. Then she turned around and shot two of the drones down. Then I noticed that two of the geth was holding onto a human on top of one those pole spike things... and then that human was impaled by the spike pole.
'Ok, that's it! Your free trial of existence has just expired!' I thought as I Jumped from up top of the hill and started blasting at the two Geth.
They were of course, caught off guard, as the blasts of dark energy hit their chrome, destroying their hulls and circuitry. They were quickly decommissioned before they could grab their rifles.
When that was over, I turned to face the human known as Ashley Williams.
She slowly got up and stared at me. "Thanks... uh, whoever you are." she spoke.
"Greetings, names Rox, Professional Bounty hunter and mercenary. It is nice to meet you and all but there are civilians in danger. You wouldn't mind introducing yourself?" I asked as I walked up to greet her.
"Gunnery chief Williams of the 212, and why is a mercenary here on Eden Prime?" she asked as she was staring at all four of my horns. 'Oh yeah, I forgot to mention one teeny tiny detail: I was designed with intimidation in mind.' I thought.
"Oh, you know, sight-seeing, blasting light bulbs left and right, you know, on vacation. It's just that there's a giant robot squid screaming off in the distance that alerted me to the current ongoing invasion." I commented.
"I have a feeling you're lying about that..." she commented.
"Well, that wasn't true of course. But I did pick up a distress call from someone who looked just like you, so I wanted to come along and help..." I explained, but then I heard movement nearby.
I then turned to face the newcomers, two humans, one female, the other male. I lowered my pistols and greeted them.
"Greetings humans, it is nice to meet each one of you, but could you explain what your mission here is?" I requested.
"That depends, who's asking?" the female redhead asked, suspicious of me.
"Names Rox, I'm really on a long-term vacation and all... and I honestly have no idea how I ended up here, but last I checked, humanity was still stuck on earth." I spoke, as I withheld the information of saurians, as it was unimportant at the time.
"Really? That's kind of surprising, as the relay to the relay when humanity was still on earth was deactivated, so how do you even know we exist?" the male asked.
"Not now kaiden, we're on a tight schedule. We'll talk about this later alright. Name's commander Shepard, that's Kaiden Alenko, we're here to secure a Prothean beacon, do you know anything about it and its location?" she asked me and Williams.
[Searching for any local records of a prothean beacon... a beacon is nearby, but it has been moved by the enemy] the results told me.
'Now, should I answer or not?' I thought to myself.
Authors notes: and there is another story out, now this is mainly a prequel story that mainly about where this character was before my first fanfic that I posted, "Why hello there Brockton Bay" started, where a lot of multiversal shenanigans happen, please check it out, and feedback would be appreciated.
