DISCLAIMER: ALL OF THE RIGTHS BELONG TO J.

It had been over a year since the battle took place. Hermione had of course gone back to finish her seventh year, even though the ministry of magic had agreed to let them all pass due to the war. She had to; how could she not finish school with the grades she wanted.

She hated being away from everyone. Of course, she had Ginny and Luna to keep her company as they also took their Newts. But she missed them all. Being away from her parents and her friends wasn't easy. But especially, being away from him. They had finally become a couple, after all this time. After all these years she could finally call Ron Weasley her boyfriend.

Hermione looked out of the train window as she thought about this. She was finally on her way back home. Hogwarts was not the same without Harry and Ron. It just wasn't. It was so boring, quiet. Nothing in particular had happened. She smiled as she thought about the last eight years of her life. How boring it would be from now on. The train started to slow down its speed as they reached platform 9 and 3 quarters.

Hermione had expected to see Mr and Mrs Weasley there at the platform. After all both Ginny and Ron still lived with their parents. Her father had written to her, saying that they also would pick her up. She had returned their memories soon after the war and had to argue with them over going back to Hogwarts after she told them why they'd lack a year of memory from their daughter's life.

But her parents where nowhere to be seen. She looked around confused, surely, they would have told her if they were waiting another place than with the Weasley's. They always did that. And then a voice that made her body shiver whispered into her ear.

"Hi mione, did you miss me?" She turned around. His ginger hair had grown much longer, it where almost covering his eyes by now. Her eyes filled with tears as she jumped into his arms.

"RON!" she screamed and pressed her lips onto his. His body had become more muscular since the last time she saw him. It was probably due to all the auror training. But it was him. His scars on his arms where not to be mistaken by.

"Did you miss me?" He whispered, making her entire body shiver.

"Of course, I missed you, you idiot. "She cried as she looked up into his eyes.

"I asked your parents if I could have you today, all to myself." He kissed her lips softly again. He took her trunk and said goodbye to his parents. Hermione looked at him confused as she followed him into an ally.

"We're not going with them?" Ron just shook his head and took her hand in his.

"Then where..." She wasn't able to finish her sentence before he pressed his lips onto hers.

"You'll see."

Suddenly they were standing in a building. She didn't really know where but Ron told her it was a quiet town a few miles from London. Ron took a few keys out from his pocket and slowly turned the lock. Hermione was amused by why he didn't use magic.

"The landlord here is a muggle." He said smiling at her. "I only use magic inside." She was amused, and shocked, and confused. All at the same time. This was rather unusual.

"Ronald you still haven't told me what where doing here." She complained as she was led inside the door. Her eyes widen.

It was a pretty big apartment. A kitchen, living room, bathroom, washroom and bedroom. The fireplace suddenly light up.

"Since I now got a job, I thought it was better that I started to live on my own. "He said grinning at her. You could tell how happy he was. Hermione walked around the Living room as she took of her jacket. She wore a purple dress, with frills. Her hair was tided at the back of her neck in a low pony, with a single ribbon.

She felt his arms wrapping themselves around her waist, holding her closely. It was a thrilling feeling. Having his muscular arms around her again. Then he stopped, to her dismay and went towards the kitchen.

"Do you like it Mione?"

"It's beautiful Ronald." she said as she moved towards a bundle of picture's placed on top of the fireplace. One of them and Harry, many years ago. Then the newspaper cut out of his family when they went to Egypt before their third year. Third was a single picture of her. It was taken by the burrow one summer. She looked much younger; her hair as frizzy as ever. Then the last picture got her attention. It was a picture of her parents. It was the only one that didn't move. It looked just like the one she had in her bedroom back at home. But why would Ron have this.

" Ronald... why is this picture here?" She asked and turned towards him. He stood a few feet away, grinning.

"Well yes, I was a bit hopeful, but I understand if you might not want to of course."

"Want what Ron?" She asked confused and laughed as he came closer to her, placing her in his arms again.

"Move in with me?" He said as he moved a few stands of hair away from her face.

"What?" She said. She couldn't even process the words she's heard. Did he really say that? Ron pulled away and lead his hands through his hair in some kind of frustration as he stomped around the apartment.

"I am miserable without you." He said as he stopped and looked over at her. His eyes so full of love and passion.

"I longed for you so much while you were away from me. Every day. I need you here. I want this to be ours. Our kitchen, our bed, our bloody toilet." She couldn't help but laugh, as did he. Tears streamed down her face. She could not believe it. He was suddenly by her again, standing in front of her.

" Move in with me, mione? " He asked again. She threw her arms around his neck as she squicked with enthusiasm.

" You idiot... Of course I will." She cried as he bent down and placed his lips on hers. She was so happy, unbelievably happy. Life was good.
