It was over. It was finally over. Harry had defeated Voldemort. Ron could not believe that this was happening. He could not believe they had peace. A lot of lives was lost. He had lost his brother and so many of their friends. Poor Teddy would have to grow up without his parents. George would have to find a way of living without Fred. So many killed. But she was safe, they where now all safe. He looked down at his hand. She held it hard, like she didn't want to let him go. McGonagall had ordered everyone to remain at the castle. She set up beds in different classrooms so they all could be around each other. She gave Harry and the Weasley family the approval of using the Gryffindor common room if they so desired. Ron held her hand the entire time. He didn't want to let go. When they arrived, Molly wanted to slip the boys and the girls up in a few rooms as she and Arthur would stay in one together. They all didn't argue with her. They were all too tired. But at the split of the stairs leading to the bedroom he could still not let go of her. She looked at him and moved closer.

"I'm not leaving you." She assured him. She knew him better than anyone. She knew he would have not let go of her hand if she didn't do it. He nodded but his face saddens as she let go of his hand. She then threw her arms around his neck and gave him a long kiss on the lips. He put his hands on her waist but let go again when she moved from him and left with Ginny.

He let out a huge signed as the water touched his skin. He and Harry had gone into the showers to get all the dirt off and the cuts clean. After the put on a pair of pyjamas that had been handed out. He and Harry looked at one another before going to bed. They both nodded before pulling the blankets over them.

He had dreams. Bad dreams. He saw Fred's face; Hermione being tortured by Bellatrix. He awoke suddenly by light. It was not the sun but the door that had opened. Hermione was standing in the doorway in her pyjamas. He stood up and went over to her.

"What is it?" he asked in a gentle voice. She looked into his eyes with both love and fear.

"I had a bad dream. I just wanted to see that you both where okey." She looked over his shoulder. Harry had awoken.

"Ginny was also having dreams. I think we all have trouble sleeping tonight." Harry nodded and ran out of the room and towards the girl's dormitories. Ron then took er hand and let her towards his bed.

"I don't care what mum said. I can't be away from you tonight." She threw her arms over his head and pressed her lips against his. They made out for a few minutes before they laid down on his bed. He pulled the covers over her and they looked into each other's eyes for a long time.

"I love you Hermione." He whispered. She smiled.

"I love you to Ron." She whispered back.

All was well.
