Chapter 18: Gobi's Valley
Banjo and Kazooie appear in Gobi's Valley in what appears to be a mini oasis Bottles says "Welcome to Gobi's Valley there's only one move in this world and it's the last one i can teach you keep a look out for my molehill." they hear a cry for help behind them and they see a Jinjo on a boulder in quicksand they jump on the boulder and grab the Jinjo they then talon trot up a hill of sand that has a waterfall effect they see a sphinx with a dog face and on his front feet are music note they jump on both feet one by one and collect all the notes they notice music notes on quicksand and platform their way to the sphinx's tail and equip the wading boots that are there they collect the notes and dismiss the boots once they get back on solid ground. they then see a pyramid with a pole that has a statue of what looks like Kazooie and they notice a target that can beak burst on the statue the climb on the sphinx's back and use the flight pad they find there they set their trajectory to the target on the kzooie statue and beak burst it and as a result a door to the pyramid opens and they enter they find music notes and a snake charmer they collect the notes and donate some eggs to the snake charmer they jump on the snake vase as he's charmed to stretch to the ceiling and once the snake is as high as he can go they backflip and grab a Jiggy and do the fanfare they exit the pyramid and go behind the pyramid and look to their left they see a palm tree with a molehill nearby they walk up to the molehill and Bottles appears and says "now you'll learn how to use the turbo trainers." Banjo asks "how does it work?" Bottles responds " it's the same as the wading boots except the turbo trainers double the talon trot's speed." Bottles then says " Congratulations you learned all the moves in this world and it appears i have nothing left to teach you. now from here on out use all that you've learned to reach the witch and knock some sense into her." Banjo says " will do my friend."they then go to the easternmost pyramid and talon trot to the top they find a switch with what appears to be a sun image they beak bomb it and a door opens they collect the music noteson the way down and enter the pyramid they find some music notes and collect them and a set of tiles they play a game of memory match by beak bombing the tiles and match all the tiles a Jiggy appears and they grab it and do the fanfare they exit the pyramid andlook to the left they find a hill with a few music notes on top and a set of turbo trainers they equip them and proceed to the isolated island with two hills with rivers of sand going down one has the molehill from earlier they run fast enough to snatch a Jiggy from a giant muumy hand and do the fanfare they notice music notes on the quicksand and equip the pair of wading boot that are on a platform behind the last pyramid they trot on the quicksand and collect the music notes they get on solid ground and dismiss the boots they then traverse to a pyramid that seems to have a sea of quicksand next to it they hitch a ride to the island in the middle of it and free Gobi the Camel by beak bombing the boulder he's chained to they then traverse back to the entrance and find Gobi sitting in front of a tree name trunker they beak bomb Gobi's back and Gobi give Trunker enough water to fully mature Gobi then leaves Gobi's Valley not to be seen until Click Clock Wood near the end of the adventure. they then traverse back to the hill with the turbo trainers and equip them they then trot to the staircase of the final pyramid and activate a switch that opens the roof to the pyramid the trot their way to the top collecting music notes along the way and jump in the pyramid and lo and behold they take a dip and swim down to the floor and grab a Jiggy which then sends the water outside into the central area creating a second oasis they collect the music notes in the room and exit the pyramid they then jump in the new oasis and swim to the floor they find more music notes and a Jinjo they grab them all and surface they notice a series of sphinx head next to some platforms and they feed each one some eggs and a new pyramid appears they go in and find more music notes they come to a room structured like a maze and traverse it finding a witch switch they beak bomb which opens the sarcophagus in the Gobi's Valley entrance room they find their way to the exit of the maze and follow the path collecting more music notes and they come to a room with a sarcophagus that opens when they get near it and reveals a Jiggy they grab it and do the fanfare they hear a cry for help from a nearby vase and jump in they grab a Jinjo and they leave the pyramid which was apparently a tomb. they then go back to the pyramid with the sun switch on it and hear a cry for help they find a Jinjo on a platform on the back wall of the pyramid and grab it they then notice a series of sphinx statues and they climb on the big sphinx's back and use the flight pad and fly through all the rings that are on top of the sphinx statues and a Jiggy appears on the sphinx's back they grab it and do the fanfare there's one last thing to do and that's jump on the platforms in front of the sphinx they shoot eggs into the sphinx's nose and a door opens they enter and find the last of the music notes in the four corners of the room they then see a series of magic carpets with sphinx heads on the wall nearby them they jump on the first magic carpet and feed the sphinx head some eggs the carpet rises and they find a Jinjo on a carpet nehind them they grab it and get a Jiggy and the do the fanfare they the proceed to get back on the magic carpet next to the sphinx head and proceeds to feed him eggs this time they platform their way to the last magic carpet in the highest point of the room and they find and grab a Jiggy they do the fanfare and leave Gobi's Valley they return to the entrance room of Gobi's Valley they return to the room with the vase and shock jump towards the sarcophagus and grab the Jiggy and do the fanfare they then return to the room with the Witch head in it and go up the stairs to find a music note door with a lock stength of 460 they approach it and it opens they then go to the next area of the lair.
AN: Gobi's Valley is done next is the seventh interlude in which Gruntilda and Tooty bond more and get a pair of phoenix familiars.
