Chapter 19: Interlude 7

While Banjo and Kazooie were traversing Gobi's Valley Gruntilda and Tooty woke up to the morning sun they get out of bed and go to the bathroom they strip their sleep wear and take a 30 minute bath and use the required hygiene products once done they get out the tub and go to the walk-in closet Gruntilda dresses up in silver lacy undergarments and a gold version of the dress she wore yesterday. she then dresses Tooty in black striped white undies and a matching training bra and she has Tooty put on an indigo sundress and black mary janes custom made for animal feet they go to the kitchen and Gruntilda cooks over medium eggs, pancakes, bacon and ham they eat it all and go to the library and Gruntilda says " now that you've read the book let's proceed in summoning a phoenix for you to bond with." they then prepare the summoning ritual for phoenixes once it's all set up Gruntilda says now summon a phoenix and be polite to it so it can bond with you." Tooty says "Okay let's begin." Tooty performs the Phoenix summoning ritual but a little something called the Potter Luck family curse awakens from dormancy and has Tooty summon the rainbow Pokemon Ho-Oh from the hall of legends in a parallel dimension called the Pokemon dimension She asks telepathically "Who has summoned the mighty Ho-Oh?" Tooty responds politely " I did I was trying to summon a phoenix but i got you so will you please be my familiar?" Ho-Oh responds " I'll be your familiar because you're pure of heart and wouldn't abuse my trust." and by saying that a familiar bond form between them and due to Ho-Oh being a Pokemon version of a Phoenix she has all the traits of one even the ability to teleport between dimensions she says " should you and any friends you have get bored of this world you summoned me to i'll take us back to my dimension where there seems to be endless adventure and never a dull moment and if you decide to become a Pokemon Trainer due to our bond I'll be your starter Pokemon and if you want to know what my abilities are i'll summon an item from my world that tells you." Tooty says " summon the item i want to know what i'm getting into." Ho-Oh summons a pokedex with the national dex installed Tooty pick it up and points it to Ho-Oh the mechanical voice of the pokedex says " Ho-Oh the Rainbow pokemon this Pokemon is said to make rainbows appear wherever he goes after a storm has run its course. this Ho-Oh is one of the extremely rare females of her species since Ho-Oh are prominantly male. her list of attacks are "Sacred Fire, Psychic, Telepathy, Fire Blast, Aeroblast , Hypnosis, Dream Eater, Aerial Ace and Steel Wing." and the pokedex continues with " Ho-Oh's ability is flash fire which give a boost to fire attacks." Tooty says " that's impressive I'll keep it in mind should we go to your world." Ho-Oh says "thanks for the compliment." Ho-Oh takes notice of Gruntilda and summons a normal phoenix which decides to make a familiar bond with her due to her being Chaotic Good at this point. Gruntilda surprised by the prospect of having a Phoenix Familiar agrees to the bond and as a result the familiar bond and her bond with Tooty will prevent her from being evil ever again. due to the summoning of Ho-Oh Gruntilda and Tooty have accidentally skipped lunch and it's time for dinner meaning the events of the day took a full ten hours to happen. Gruntilda, Tooty and their familiars go to the Kitchen and Gruntilda cooks fried porkchops and stuffing for dinner they eat it all and go to the bedroom and strip their clothes and dress in a new set of sleep wear Gruntilda puts on an orange night gown then she puts Tooty in a violet set of kid's pajamas with yellow stars adorning it they get in bed and go to dreamland while Ho-Oh and Gruntilda's phoenix familiar keep watch so they can alert them to trouble.

Meanwhile in a lower floor of the lair

Banjo and Kazooie enter a room with platforms above them and a doorway below them they swim through the doorway and enter the Rusty Bucket Bay entrance room but that's not what catches their attention there's another underwater doorway and they swim through it they surface in the next room and platform their way to the Mad Monster Mansion puzzle board they step on the podium and insert 20 Jiggies and the picture is completed Bottles says " Congratulations the entrance to Mad Monster Mansion is now open." they then make their way back to the room with the witch head in it but before they proceed to Mad Monster Mansion they detour back to Freezeezy Peak and challenge Boggy to a race and while wearing the turbo trainers they beat Boggy and get the last Jiggy of Freezeezy Peak and go back to the room with the Gobi's Valley Puzzle board in it they go further in the room and come to a doorway it leads them to the Mad Monster Mansion entrance room which fittingly looks like a graveyard they then enter Mad Monster Mansion but not befor rat-a-tat-rapping the gate to another area of the entrance room.

AN: Ho-Oh will be the only Pokemon character in this story but by having him here it opens the door to a possible sequel that takes place in the World of Pokemon.
