AN: in these remaining Interludes let's assume Banjo and Kazooie are still traversing the remaining worlds that are in the chapters prior to them.
Chapter 21: Interlude 8
While Banjo and Kazooie were Traversing Mad Monster Mansion Gruntilda and Tooty woke up to the morning sun and got out of bed they went to the bathroom ansd stripped their sleep wear and got in the tub but this time Ho-Oh and Gruntilda's Phoenix join them. they take a 30 minute bath and use the required hygiene products but before the 30 minutes are up they carefully groom Ho-Oh and the phoenix to where their feathers shine as if somebody polished them. they then go to the walk-in closet and Gruntilda dresses up in pink lacy undergarments and a red and black princess dress she then dresses Tooty in pink striped white undies with a matching training bra and has Tooty put on a Princess dress that Daisy would wear except the color is purple. they go to the kitchen and eat breakfast which is Over medium eggs, bacon, ham and Pancakes. they eat all of it while sharing some of the bacon with Ho-Oh and the yet to be named phoenix. they go to the library and Gruntilda says "now before I get another book for you to read let's name our familiars." Tooty says "Okay I think I'll name Ho-Oh Amaterasu after the shinto Goddess of fire." Ho-Oh hears this and says "That's acceptable since my primary elemental type is fire." Gruntilda looks at her Phoenix and asks " before I name you are you male or female?" the phoenix trills phoenix song and Gruntilda understands it due to the bond they have and Gruntilda says "female you say? well how about Artemis after the greek goddess of the hunt and moon?" the phoenix nods while trilling happily. suddenly the aforementioned goddesses appear and Amaterasu says "we were watching you and we give our blessing for these majestic birds to have our names." the goddesses then leave with Artemis saying "we'll be watching you and expect great things from you." from this point on Ho-Oh's nickname is Amaterasu and Gruntilda's phoenix is named Artemis. Gruntilda goes to a shelf and pulls out a book named The Art of War by Sun Tzu Gruntilda gives it to Tooty and says " while that's not a magic based book it's an interesting read considering Sun Tzu is regarded as one of the greatest philosophers in the world even though he was actually a general that decided to write a book on strategy." Tooty says " Okay i'll start now." Tooty then spends four hours reading the book and reaches the halfway point by the time Gruntilda returns and says " Let's take a break for lunch." Tooty says "Okay I was getting hungry from all the reading anyway." they go to the kitchen and Gruntilda cooks some hot wings which is chicken loaded with spices that give it a kick. and she cooks some bacon for Amaterasu and Artemis so they don't feel left out. they eat it all and return to the library where Tooty resumes reading the book from earlier and spends six hours reading it she finishes as Gruntilda returns and says " well done it took me a week to read a memorize that book. and the main thing a lot of people take to heart when they read it is the part that says know your enemy and know yourself and only then will you win a hundred battles without error. it means you are your own worst enemy and if you conquer your fears and inner darkness then you'll be able to face anything. let's go eat dinner anfd go to bed." Tooty says " Okay i'll remember that and all that reading was making me tired anyway." they go to the kitchen and Gruntilda cooks steak and potatoes while she cooks bacon for Amaterasu and Artemis they eat it all and go to the bedroom strip their clothes and getb dressed in a new set of sleep wear Gruntilda puts on a light blue night gown and she dresses Tooty in an orange set of kids pajamas with roses adorning it. they get in bed and go to dreamland while Amaterasu and Artemis keep watch for anything that may try to harm them.
AN: let's assume the pantheons from the age of gods didn't die out but took up a "no direct interference policy". so Amaterasu and Artemis won't be appearing much if at all.
