Chapter 38: Big is Beautiful.

The group with their two newest comrades headed back to Raven Rock and once Wisp had let them all back in by powering down the security system before powering it back up in their wake so that no one else could follow them inside, Visa was very insistent about this last step.

Seven could see the obvious nervousness of Shepherds people around the two large female super mutants, but that wasn't exactly to be unexpected as Seven couldn't exactly imagine most human/super mutant interactions exactly going even remotely cordially or smoothly, but at least no one was shooting or you know eating people yet.

Seven noticed that Sheila's interest had been caught by Malakai who was scuttling around exploring the place, every time he passed through the main lobby on his way to another room as he helped take an inventory of what resources had been left behind her eyes tracked him and Seven could see fascination sparkling in them, finally, it got too much and she had to speak to him.

"Why do you's look like a spidey?" she asked him as he came into the lobby with Wisp in tow, both were carrying what looked to be boxes of what looked like military fatigues.

Malakai looked up and turned to look at her fixing his big amazed looking eyes on her, Seven saw his little mandibles twitch, "Who me?" he asked and she nodded stepping up close to look at him which made Wisp twitch behind him the smile that had been plastered over her new human face leaving rather rapidly.

Malakai seemed to be trying to sense of what she'd just asked and he quickly seemed to grasp what she was asking him, "I am an Arachnakai, we are a race of half-human half spiders that come to be from a blending of human and spider DNA, we come from a bunker underneath the Rockies" Malakai explained before launching into the story of what had happened that had brought his species into being while Sheila and now Shauna listened intently to him obviously both fascinated.

"Wow, this is the first time I've seen species actually blended through the use of Radiation that does not include some form of sexual reproduction to mutate the DNA into being able to bind," Shauna said.

"I think his fur is pretty, yellow is my favourite colour!" Sheila said happily as she reached out to touch his bright yellow leg.

"HEY! Don't you dare put your hands on him without his permission! He is not a pet he is a person!" Wisp yelled making them all jump including Malakai himself.

Sheila snatched her hand back like it had just been burned and cradled it against her chest, there was a look of shock painted on her face that quickly morphed into a look of sadness, "Me's is sorry, me's no mean anything bad by it, me's just wanted to stroke pretty yellow fur, looks very soft but me's didn't mean bad with it" Sheila said in a soft and quiet voice.

The look of anger that had been painted on Wisp's face instantly softened before vanishing entirely, she looked around at everyone that was gathered and could see that everyone was staring at her in shock including Malakai himself.

"Sorry I didn't mean to yell like that but you have to remember that just Malakai looks different that doesn't mean you can just put your hands on him without his permission, that's his body and it's sacred just like yours is, you don't like what the leader of the Amazons did to those boys and men she took prisoner correct?" Wisp said and now Sheila switched from sad to angry.

"No! Of course, me's don't! It was bad, she's is bad, she hurts them and does bad things to them!" she exclaimed loudly and Wisp nodded.

"Exactly and the fact you feel that way is a good thing because it means you are a good person, but you cannot just put your hands on people without their permission, you wouldn't like it if random guys just kept touching you without your permission would you?" Wisp said and Sheila shook her head.

"No bad mutants did that and this happened," she said gesturing to herself.

"Exactly and just because he is a boy and you are a girl does not mean you get the right to touch him either, I think he is the prettiest thing I have ever seen walking this Earth and I would not even dare to put these new hands of mine upon him unless he gives me the right to do so no matter how much I yearn to I do not have that right" Wisp said in a far far softer voice.

Sheila nodded obviously understanding now, she turned to Malakai and stroked her arm sheepishly, "Sorry Malakai me's did not mean to touch you's without permission, Wisp is right" she said.

Malakai smiled softly which to be fair did light his face up, "Its ok Sheila I can see you didn't want to hurt me and you can touch my leg if you want to and also thank you for respecting that" he said lighting up Sheila's face in pure joy.

She reached out her large hand and ran it up Malakai's bright yellow leg and Seven could see the visible joy written all over her face, but it wasn't a sexual thing and all of them gathered could blatantly see that it was just someone taking joy in something simple and joyful as a fluffy spider.

"I wish all spidys looked like you, world would be much better if world was filled with big, fluffy spidys with pretty yellow legs," Sheila said.

"I'm sure Wisp would agree with you on that one" Seven said.

"Don't need a world full, I'd be happy with just one" Wisp replied looking longingly at Malakai and this Immediately started Shauna laughing which rapidly started spreading to others and pretty soon all of them were laughing and Seven could feel the relief and stress of the last few hours just melting away.

That's when Malakai did something surprising, he rotated himself so he was now facing Wisp, "You can touch my leg if you want to as well Wisp" he said in a soft almost embarrassed to be saying something like that out loud kind of voice.

Seven had never seen Wisp smile so brightly in his life, but then come to think of it he had never never actually seen her smile before as she had never had a face until now, he had never seen her move so fast in his life either.

She just simply seemed to teleport right next to him and very very slowly ran both of her hands up Malakai's yellow leg, now while Sheila had not run her hand up Malakai's leg in a sexual way, Wisp most certainly did.

Seven could see the way that Wisp was very gently twisting her hands in a circular motion as they travelled up his leg right from his little claw-tipped foot right to the joint that joined his leg to his main body and by the way Malakai shivered, making his fur fluff up a little as well as the way his large eyes seemed to go crossed it was obvious he rather liked it and by the way, Wisp was smiling devilishly she had noticed as well.

"It begins," Visa said softly in Seven's ear as she leaned down over the back of his seat and placed her large chest swells on either of his shoulders as she kissed the top of his head before tilting it upwards with a clawed finger to plant another on his forehead.

"Oh it began on day one but I think our resident spider boy just gave her an in without realizing it" Seven whispered back.

Visa gave him a large toothy grin, "Oh he knows what he's doing, he's just a shy boy and I think he's hoping she's going to chase him to prove her feelings for him are real and that she's not just either playing with him or leading him on," she said, both glanced down at them and Seven smiled at the very sultry look that was plastered on Wisp's new face.

"Oh I don't think he's going to have to worry on that front, I think that very soon he's going to be the one who finds himself caught in a web" he chuckled softly.

Everyone was chatting to the two ex-Amazon girls who were still somewhat nervous around all the humans and by the way Runs was looking the feeling was obviously mutual, Gregory tapped Wisp on the arm and that made her jump as she was still standing with her attention focused on Malakai.

She turned to find herself face to face with Gregory, "Come on let's go get that new body of yours checked out properly, wouldn't want it to fail on you when you really need it now would you?" he said smiling at her warmly.

Wisp shot a glance at Malakai and he simply smiled at her, "You really should go and get your body checked properly, Gregory is right, what with what happened to Seven you really didn't have a chance to check everything out properly before we all had to run out, hell you really didn't even have chance to get dressed properly and we can't have a pretty lady like you going around dressed in any old rags, that just won't do at all" he said softly as he gestured to the very loose-fitting and a pair of mismatched boots, hell she didn't even have any underwear on.

Wisp looked up at Malakai and smiled at him, "Want to help me out with that?" she asked and Malakai positively beamed at being asked this.

"I'd love to, I'm sure we can find something in the stores we emptied that will fit you, I'll take some measurements and if need be I'll modify some things," Malakai said beaming from ear to ear, he seemed positively stoked to be able to help her out.

The three of them headed off and Malakai headed to the room where they had stored all the stocks they had looted, "I get the feeling spider boy is really starting to warm up to you" Gregory said as the pair headed into the lab.

"I hope so, I mean I know its all pretty sudden but I'm speaking from the heart here he is the most beautiful creature I have ever seen and sure I know its fast but if there is one thing I've learned in this world it's you have to not only act fast but hang the ever-living fuck on with both hands," she said and Gregory nodded as he gestured for her jump up onto the table.

"Well, you got those now don't you, speaking of which how are they feeling?" Gregory asked as he began to unpack a case of tools that looked like a cross between a medical kit and a set of torture tools with a few scanners.

She lifted her hands up and flexed her new fingers, it was at that point it hit her, she'd been inhabiting this body for only a few hours now but because of all the panic and rushing around she'd been operating and integrating herself with its systems without any kind of conscious thought, it had all been utter reflex, like her mind remembered what it was like to have a body of its own and because the similarity it had just fallen into place.

"It feels great, so much better than my old one and I don't mean the robotic one, I mean the real one, that one was just a bag of meat and fucking pain, with this thing I feel as strong as a claw girl who got into the Buffout," she said smiling up at him as he began to run the scanners over her to locate the access ports.

He snorted a laugh at the mental image of a claw girl tripping her tits off on Buffout then his face changed to one of seriousness, "What did happen to your old one if you don't mind me asking?" he said glancing up to meet her eyes for an only a second before quickly focusing them on his work.

"I killed it," Wisp said flatly and the look of pure shock on Gregory's face said it all.

"K-K-Killed it!? You killed your own body?" he exclaimed and she nodded.

"I knew that if I left it behind the Enclave would try and use it to recapture me like an anchor of sorts, honestly when I did it I wasn't even sure that it wouldn't just kill me outright like disperse my non-corporeal form completely as its anchor was gone, but the way I was at the time all I knew was that for me it was freedom or death, I wasn't willing to accept anything else, every time I was locked inside that skin I was like being encased in a bag of broken glass and salt that was being shaken very vigorously," she said softly.

"Oof, I'm sorry Wisp," Gregory said as he began hooking scanners up to her which sparked to life the moment they were hooked into her, what was odder was the fact that not only was she aware of their intrusion but she could actually feel them as well.

"Ahh don't be, it was just a bag of meat, I'm the living definition of it doesn't matter what you look like on the outside but who you are on the inside, because I'm all inside," she said with a grin that made Gregory laugh.

"Yeah I guess I get that and hey well it looks like you got yourself a serious upgrade here, this thing is an incredible piece of engineering, I've never seen anything like it before, it looks and utterly feels like a real flesh and blood human right down to the skin warmth and even the sodding heartbeat, but it's all synthetic, it is utterly incredible," he said gently tapping her arm.

"Yeah I know it feels as utterly real as my old one and what's more I can utterly feel everything, the nerves work the same, when I touch something it feels like was touching it with my original flesh and blood hand, hell I can feel my muscles flexing," she said.

"Or touch someone huh?" Gregory said playfully glancing at Malakai who had just brought in a box full of what looked like military fatigues as well as other cloth scraps before scuttling back out to go and seek something else to add to it and Wisp gave him a gentle playful punch on the arm while smiling at him.

Gregory chuckled softly as he noticed Wisp glancing after Malakai whose big fluffy abdomen just vanished out the door, oh how she ached to run he new hands through that soft-looking fur and to be given permission to fully explore that utterly exotic body of his, over the last few days her dreams had been so completely filled with images of her trapped in a certain spider's web she genuinely believed she was begging to develop a bondage fetish, especially with the things he did to her in those dreams, though to be fair in each one she had been in her old body.

"Ummm Gregory, all the parts of this body do err work the way they are supposed to right?" she said with embarrassment flooding her voice.

Gregory cocked his head curiously for a moment before blushing profusely as he caught her meaning, "Well I err umm am not exactly an expert on the female anatomy you know given that I err like boys well specifically claw boys and even more specifically one claw boy" he stammered while rubbing the back of his head.

"Umm could you err check for me?" she said and Gregory's blush turned fire red.

"Well I'm not err exactly the best person to ask Wisp," he said.

She reached out quickly and seized both of his hands in hers, "Please Gregory you are the only person I can trust with this, I just couldn't bear it if by some miracle I do manage to catch that beautiful boy's eye and heart only to get to the point where I'm about to make my every dream since I met him a reality only to have it snatched from me by a cruel twist of fate" she said desperately.

At that moment Malakai scuttled back in and he caught sight of Wisp clutching both of Gregory's hands and him blushing profusely, he looked both confused and concerned, "Is everything ok?" he asked.

"Yeah fine Malakai, I just gotta do some fine-tuning on the new body of Wisp's and she's a little embarrassed because it means she's well err gotta be naked for it," Gregory said instantly covering for her.

The flush in Gregory's cheeks instantly spread to Malakai and his beautiful snow-white skin instantly went bright red, "Oh my! I'm so sorry, I'll give you some privacy" he exclaimed and quickly grabbed both of his boxes and before Wisp could say anything he shot off to another part of the lab where he couldn't see them.

"He's such a gentleman that one, I mean sure he's about as different as you could get but he really is a sweetheart isn't he?' Gregory said softly.

"He's the most beautiful man I've ever seen, I don't care a single shit that he's half spider and half-human, to me he's wholly beautiful and I want him with every fibre of my being, I need to make him happy Gregory, happy in every sense of the word, I want that man to look at me in the way I look at him and I want to wake up to his arms and hell even his legs wrapped around me every single day because the first time he lets me hug him I will never let him go, not even for a second," she said in a voice so filled with emotion that it genuinely surprised her how sensitive the voice modulator on this thing was.

Gregory turned to her and there was a truly determined look burning in his eyes now, "And we are going to get you there Wisp, we are going to make you ready, we are going to make sure that no matter what you and that beautiful boy want to do together you will be able to, you deserve love just as much as any of us do and you have watched from you cold metal body as each of you friends has found themselves love in the most unlikely of places, now it's your turn girl and together we are going make that happen when I am done that beautiful boy isn't going to know what hit hit" he said with the same fire that was burning in his eyes.

"Thank you, Gregory," she said.

"Thank me when you're laid in bed wrapped tight in his arms and legs and all he can say is wow, just make sure you do it in your head or I get the feeling he might get a little jealous cos I know my Ven sure as hell will and I don't feel like having that conversation," he said with a grin making her laugh.

It was rather humiliating and somewhat invasive, but after he was done he had categorically proved that not only did everything work the same way as any normal flesh and blood female but that everything reacted the way it was supposed to as well, her body was in perfect working order and by the sensations she had felt during the examination everything worked just as it was supposed to, though the only person who was ever going to see it again let alone touch it would be big, fluffy and had eight legs, one of which was the most beautiful shade of yellow.

Once they were sure everything was in perfect working order Wisp put her loose-fitting fatigues back on, "All's good well as far as I can tell anyway, plus my scans have all finished and I have to say fuck me am I impressed, this thing is utterly incredible, it's powered by a recycling power cell that constantly topped up in a whole host of ways like for instance that skin of yous isn't just for looking good its a solar panel, the best part is completely non-nuclear so no chance of irradiating a certain spider boy" he said playfully.

Wisp smiled and laughed softly, "Glad to hear it," she said and Gregory patted her on the shoulder making her lookup.

"Go get yourself a pretty spider boy before a certain big green girl who likes pretty fluffy things gets her hands back on him and starts doing some very thorough leg stroking" he said playfully.

Wisp felt a stab of pure jealousy shoot through her like a burning hot lightning bolt, "Over my dead and dismantled body, the only hands that are going to be stroking those beautiful fluffy legs and that big sexy fluffy butt are going to be these ones!" she said and before she knew what in the name of hell was going on she had turned and was stomping out of the room shouting "Thank you, you're a lifesaver Gregory" over her shoulder.

She heard a mixture of laughter and a soft "You're very welcome go, gettem girl," as she left and in her mind, that's exactly what she was going to do.

To her absolute amazement, she could feel her mechanical heart pounding in her chest as she stomped her way through the lab to find the cubicle that Malakai was working in, as soon as she saw him with all of his legs folded up under him looking like a sexy spider-shaped loaf of bread again she was filled with a wave of pure determination, it was do or die of embarrassment time.

As she walked in Malakai turned and his face lit up with a radiant smile that made her heart leap about in her chest, "Ahh there you are Wisp, I found some really nice fatigues and I think..." he said holding up a set of fatigue trousers to show her.

Wisp just pushed them aside and with one swift and hope-filled movement, she seized Malakai's supremely handsome face in both of her hands and planted her mouth right on his.

For a truly terrible moment, the exquisitely warm and soft sensation of Malakai's mouth pressing against hers was overshadowed by him stiffening up like a board but then to Wisp's pure and sheer delight, he just melted.

A small little whimper noise escaped through the gap between their lips and he dropped the fatigues and when Wisp looked up she realised he'd close every single one of his six eyes, then to her sheer delight she felt his mouth open and his mandibles reach up and grip her hands holding them in place.

Wisp seized the initiative and slipped her tongue into his mouth, the flavour blew her mind completely, he tasted like honey, pure sweet sugary honey.

She found his tongue darting around inside his mouth like a frightened animal looking for a place to hide and like a big powerful huntress she cornered it and seized her prey wrapping herself around him forcing another pleasure-filled little whimper to escape him along with a beautiful little shiver passing through him.

When they finally broke Malakai was both panting and trembling, so much so his fur was actually bristling, Wisp instantly noticed and stroked his face gently and felt his little mandible curl around her hand, "Oh sweet thing, please don't be scared of me, I'm not going to hurt you, I would never ever hurt you, you are the most beautiful boy I have ever seen, I couldn't bear the thought of you fearing me" she said softly as his six beautiful eyes opened back up and focused on her.

"I-I-I'm not scared of you Wisp, I-I-I just don't know what to do now, I-I-I just never imagined feeling like this about someone who isn't an Arachnakai, I-I-I didn't even that the other races could even be together till I met this group, but when I saw this group I realised that not only as I wrong but beautifully so, then I saw you and I don't mean the you I see before me now, I mean the real you, the cloud of pure golden beauty and now here you are wrapped up in a beautiful skin as well, but here you are and you are holding me and kissing me and I can't for the life of me understand why?" he stammered in a voice that made Wisp's digital heart melt in her chest.

She reached under his chin and lifted his head forcing his huge front facing eyes to meet hers, "Becasue you are the most beautiful boy I have ever seen in my life Malakai, it doesn't bother me one single bit that you are an Arachnakai, in fact I utterly love it because it makes you all the more exotic, you are a kind, gentle, loyal and wonderful person and I can say that having only known you a few days, but after what I've been through i know the difference between good people and bad and you are the very best Malakai, you stole my sparkly little heart the very first day and now I have a body of my own and the way and the means to give you all the love your big fluffy heart deserves I'm making my move because if I have no illusions of how dark and hostile both this world and this life is, so when you see something light and beautiful you need to grab on and hold the hell on with both hands, well now I have hands Malakai and if you'll let me I will hold the hell on to that sexy big fluffy bum of yours like you webbed me to it, because believe it or not I love you Malakai, with all of my sparkly little heart," she said.

Malakai's mouth opened and closed like a sexy little fish for a moment but then he threw his arms around Wisp and sprung up onto his feet lifting her off her feet holding onto her tightly, "Oh thank you Wisp! Thank you! I've never been so happy! Finally, all of my dreams have come true, I always believed there was someone out there for me and now here you are, someone I can love, someone who will be just for me and who I will belong to!" he exclaimed and the pure emotion was just pouring out of his voice.

Wisp's heart just about exploded and she threw her arms around his neck and just broke down, a mixture of sheer happiness and relief washed through her, to her utter surprise actual tears began to stream down her face, the guys who built this body had really gone all out when doing so and by the warm wet feeling elsewhere in the body she knew it is really working.

Malakai lowered her back to the ground and in a show of supreme beauty that really showed just how beautiful this male was both on the inside as well as the outside he used his fuzzy little mandibles to not only wipe her tears away tenderly but then kissing the areas on her cheeks where the tears had been.

"Please don't cry Wisp," he said softly and she stroked his beautiful face.

"I'm not crying because I'm in any way sad Malakai but because I am happy, I'm so fucking happy," she said holding onto him tightly as if her soul was going to leak right out of her body again.

"Me too," he said wrapping his arms around her again.

When they had finally finished hugging they separated and Malakai gave her a warm smile while still holding onto her hand, "Would you like me to sort out your clothes now? I've found some fatigues that I can fix up for you and even a leather trench coat which I think would look utterly fantastic on you" he said pointing to the boxes.

Wisp nodded and Malakai reached into the boxes and brought out a long measuring tape, "Umm I have to measure you now I hope you don't mind, I umm will have to touch you" he said somewhat nervously and Wisp burst out laughing making him look confused.

"Oh Malakai you true and utter gentle sweetheart, you are such a good person that it makes me so incredibly happy to know that there are still souls like you in this world and just so we are absolutely clear on this you have my absolute permission to touch me where ever and however you want whenever the feeling takes you, I want you too because I want your arms around me and your hands upon me as much as possible, so don't you ever feel scared to touch anything your heart yearns to because you have my permission," she said softly stroking his face again.

Malakai took her hands and kissed every single one of her fingers, "As you have mine to do the very same Wisp, you may touch me any way you wish" he said softly.

She smiled brightly but also a little slyly, "You might regret those words pretty buy because pretty soon you are probably going to have to peel me off you to go anywhere" she said playfully and Malakai smiled broadly.

"Suits me just fine, you can ride on my back," he said and Wisp's mouth just dropped open.

"S-Seriously? You let me ride you?" she exclaimed and at that, she heard a loud snorted laugh from the other side of the still-open door and they both turn just in time to see Gregory's grinning face pop into view.

"I'd say you might want to rephrase that but hey I'm not gonna judge, congrats you two very well done oh and Malakai welcome to the human loving non-human community, as Seven likes to say meetings are on Thursdays and its bring your own human, looks like you got yours so see you at the meeting but if I see you wearing a saddle I'm going to ask you to keep it for the bedroom as you might make Ven jealous and I'm not making a Claw sized saddle and I'm sure as hell not wearing one," he said making Malakai flush bright red as he finally got the implication.

Wisp roared with laughter as she realised what she'd actually said then right in front of Gregory she wrapped her arms around Malakai's neck and smiled at him, "If my beautiful spider wants me dressed in nothing but a saddle and a smile he'd better make sure it's lined with his best silk because he can ride me just right," she said making his blush deepen as she leaned in and kissed him, oh she was going to rock this beautiful sweet innocent boys world in every single way.

As Gregory was leaving Wisp asked him to make sure no one else came down as Malakai was going to be measuring her and she wasn't going to be wearing a lot, he agreed and finally the pair were alone, "So want me to get naked for you lover spider?" she said softly.

"N-N-Naked?" he stammered going wide-eyed.

"Well yeah I didn't exactly have time to find any underwear when I threw this lot on, so yeah I'm completely naked under this lot," she said trying to add a little pur to her voice, this time the blush in his cheeks was not due to embarrassment.

"I err umm..." he began and Wisp suddenly realised that she might very well be putting too much pressure on him after all she had just sprung all of this on him and was now putting him on the spot.

"Hey it's ok if you aren't ready Malakai, no pressure my sweetheart, your happiness is my top priority, so please don't feel bad beautiful one, I would wait forever and a day for you to be ready because you are mine now," she said stroking his face.

"Thank you Wisp, you are so wonderful and I-I am ready but just not here you know, when umm that happens I want it to be a private thing with just the two of us so we can take our time and I can umm be more comfortable and I can make it more romantic for you because my dad always taught me that every girl should be treated like a princess on her first night and every one after that because the woman you love should always be your princess just like the ones in our books," he said softly.

His words touched her heart in a way she had never even deemed possible, she hugged him tightly to her, "Oh Malakai you are every bit my little prince as I am you princess and trust me when that night comes I will make sure you are royally loved" she said kissing every single one of his eyes lids and his lips.

Wisp let Malakai continue on with his measuring though to her delight he did sneak in a couple of touches like when he ran his hand very gently up the inside of her thigh making her gasp and shiver with pleasure which really made him smile.

She also couldn't believe what an utter wizard with a needle and thread Malakai was not to mention what a true craftsman he was, because not only did he alter a full set of fatigues for her not just one but he found some silk embroidered pillowcases and turned them before her utterly amazing eyes into the most beautiful silk underwear she had ever seen, though her favourite part was watching him both smile and blush as she purrs promised in his ear that she would be very much looking forwards to the day he took off with his own hands the things he had made for her to put on.

When Wisp tried her first Malakai original works on she did spare his blushes by putting it on in the washroom but she was utterly amazed by how well it all fit, she'd created a whole new form of combat chique for her berated out of black combat fatigues, combat boots and a long leather duster that he's hemmed up, it was utterly wonderful.

She stepped out and Malakai's face broke into a bright smile that make his cute little mandibles twitch, "You look amazing" he said and she smiled back at him.

"All that's to you my big fluffy miracle worker," she said walking up and kissing him relishing the softness of his lips and the taste of his honey-sweet mouth.

Then out of the blue, he grabbed her and flipped her onto his back, "Let's go and see the others shall we?" he said as she shrieked with laughter and pointed off into the hallway.
