A: I don't own TVDU or any character. Sorry, my english isn't good.

It was Sunday morning, and usually Caroline would still be asleep at this time. She wasn't even sure how anyone could willingly wake up at an hour like this, and Caroline considered herself a morning person. After entering in the livingroom of the huge mansion, run by an employee, Caroline spotted an elegant man in an suit sitting on the silk couch. He stood up when he saw her enter and stretched out his hand.

"I'm glad to meet you, Miss Forbes, I'm Elijah Mikaelson."

Caroline shook his hand, and said:

"The pleasure is on my part. I suppose you are the man I talked to on the phone with, Mr. Mikaelson?"

"Exactly. But tell me Elijah, miss forbes."

"Only if you call me Caroline."

"I hope it wasn't too hard for you to get to the mansion." he said.

"Oh, no, no, it was okay."

In a way it was a lie, but it could also be the truth. She had swirled around a while until she found the way to the secluded mansion.

"I'm glad. As far as I've been informed, I think you and Niklaus will get along great if he decides to keep you as his nurse." Elijah said, and Caroline could not help but notice the sadness in his eyes when he brought up his brother, her new patient. However, Caroline didn't think about it too much, because she was too nervous, she wanted this job.

"I suspect that you have been informed about his medicines, I would like to specify that most of the ones he takes are experimental." he said, walking her through the extravagant house to a small place compartmentalized for some of his brother's medicines, explaining his routines.

"He knows what the risks of experimental medicines may be, doesn't he?" Caroline couldn't help but ask.

"Yes, but he doesn't seem to care. However, doctors want to see him twice a week so they can monitor his condition. You don't have to worry about appointments, I'll be home in time to take him to these."

As he spoke, Elijah led her to a more secluded wing of the house, to Niklaus' room.

"You have to be here before I leave for work, which is at 7 a.m., and you can leave just after I come or our sister comes back from school. Niklaus can not be left more than 10 minutes alone." You could see how much he love his brother and how caring he probably is with him, but he also seemed very strict when it came to Niklaus' schedule and routine. Caroline was the same.

"I don't like waking Niklaus up, he's still sleeping now, but I can wake him up if you think than it would be better if you will meet him from today, for a few minutes."
