"Crap, crap, crap, did I really just say that?" Ludwig thought to himself in a panic. He looked at Feliciano who was staring at him in shock. His face was redder than a strawberry. There was no doubt in it. Ludwig just said I love you.

"Why did I say that?" Ludwig mumbled to himself. He covered his mouth and turned away.

Feliciano meanwhile, was sitting shock. The words that were just said repeating over and over in his mind. It had been such a long time since someone had said those words. In that way. And truly mean it. At least, he hoped Ludwig meant it. It was pretty hard for him to be fully sure. But there was a way to find out. It was a big risk but to Feliciano it was worth it.

"I, I love you too," Feliciano said grabbing Ludwig's hand tightly. Ludwig turned towards him. Now staring at him in shock.

"R-really?" Ludwig asked in shock.

"Yes!" Feliciano leaned closer to Ludwig. His eyes started to tear up a little. "I have for a while now. I just thought you would prefer someone more serious."

"Are you kidding me?" Ludwig asked softly, gently wiping away Feliciano's tears. "That's why I fell in love with you. Your smile that's the most contagious ever, your positive attitude on life, your creativity, everything about you id perfect. If anything. It should be you who doesn't reciprocate my feelings."

"What can I say? I like serious guys." The two shared a quick laugh before Feliciano spoke again. "So what happens now?"

"I have no idea." Ludwig looked off into the distance. He moved away from Feliciano a bit. But he did not let go of his hand. "Are we dating now or?"

"We can date if you want to."

"Of course I want to."

"Then." Feliciano held up Ludwig hand and started to gently rub it with his thumbs. "I believe we are."

"There you two are I was getting worried," Karla said as she pulled some bags out of her car.

"Sorry Mom we were sitting by the lake," Ludwig said awkwardly. He rubbed the back of his head while Feliciano laughed to himself.

"Well it is beautifuldown there. I don't blame you." Karla glanced down and smiled to herself. She started walking towards the house. "Well if you two don't mind I could use some help bringing the stuff in."

Ludwig started to move forward only for Feliciano to stumble a little. He turned and looked down. Seeing his and Feliciano's hands were intertwined. The two looked at each other and smiled a little. Both of them hesitating to let go. The walked over to the car and grabbed a couple of bags each. Walking into the kitchen, Karla was already unpacking the bags she brought in. Ludwig and Feli went and grabbed the last few bags. Ludwig immediately started to help unpack the rest. Feliciano went to as well, when Karla stopped him.

"It's okay dear," Karla said. "You're a guest. Enjoy yourself."

Feliciano was silent, he walked over to the kitchen table. Grabbing a chair he pulled it closer to them. He sat down and leaned on it.

"Mom you didn't have to bring all these snacks," Ludwig complained as he pulled out like the fifth bag of chips.

"Well, I don't want my baby, his friends, going hungry this week," Karla folded the bag she just emptied.

"We can grab food if we need to."

"Which I'm trying to limit."

Ludwig rolled his eyes a little. He looked back at Feliciano, before looking back down. He heard his mother giggle a little.

"What's so funny?" He asked turning towards her.

"Oh, nothing." Karla was still giggling. She walked close to Ludwig and whispered to him. "Does my baby have a little crush on someone?"

"Mom!" Ludwig shouted stepping away from her. Karla started laughing. Feliciano couldn't but smile at the scene. It was rare but his parents would occasionally tease his brothers. Never him. Only insults or complaining about how he wasn't "normal". He shook his head a little. This wasn't the time to think about it. He wasn't going to let his parents ruin what was going to be a fun week with his friends. And now his boyfriend.

That word, boyfriend. It was so foreign to him. So strange. But wonderful at the same time. Part of him wondered if he and Ludwig were truly on that level. While the other part was trying to banish those exact thoughts from his mind. Ludwig said he loved him and asked if they were dating. So, they had to be boyfriends. Even then there were plenty of questions going through his mind. Mainly of what would change? What would happen if they ever broke up? Worse of all, would Ludwig's family even accept the fact that he was dating a trans man. Ludwig said him coming out had a positive outcome. But being transgender was a whole other story. Sure Ludwig accepted him for who he was but his family was a different story. He didn't want to lose Ludwig. Even as just a friend. But would him being trans cause a rift between him and his family? Would Ludwig's parents be as cruel as his own and disown him for simply being in love. Feliciano didn't want it to happen. Even the thought of it was painful.

"Excuse me are you alright?" Feliciano looked up to see Karla and Ludwig looking at him concerned.

"Yeah," Feliciano rubbing the back of his head. "Just got lost thought."

"I like this boy," Karla said very sweetly. "You really should consider him as a boyfriend."

"I'm transgender!" Feliciano blurted out. He looked up for a moment before looking down. "Just thought you should know."

"Oh I'm sorry I didn't you were a girl."

"I'm a guy," Feliciano corrected in a rather weak tone.

"Oh I'm sorry I got mixed up with the statement," Karla said with a bit of embarrassment. "That's perfectly fine. I hope I didn't upset you."

"Not at all." Feliciano smiled with a ton of relief.

The rest of the visit with smoothly. Soon Karla left to visit some family nearby. She gave a quick hug to Feliciano before tightly hugging her son. Feliciano stood there in surprise. After she left, Ludwig and Feliciano moved to the couch. Ludwig put on the Tv and both sat closer than they ever have.

"You know since we're dating now," Ludwig began with a bit of hesitation. "Alot changes and there's no going back."

"I know," Feliciano said in a rather serious tone that surpised Ludwig. He looked Ludwig in the eye and spoke softer. "Falling in love is always a risk. Sometimes it fails but other times the reward is worth it all. And to me this is worth it all."

Ludwig quickly glanced over at Feliciano. He slowly started to reach over but stopped himself. Feliciano took notice and giggled to himself. Immediately, he laid his head on Ludwig's chest. Slowly, Ludwig moved his arm around him. Successfully this time. Gently he pushed Feliciano closer to him. At this moment the world was perfect.
