Author's Note: I am extremely sorry that I did not update this for so long. I am embarrassed and disappointed with myself for being so irresponsible. Please do forgive me and I hope you enjoy this chapter. I have been very fortunate to have you guys read my stories and review them. The day went by uneventful. Ayano was working at her desk with the documentation and she could almost feel someone's eyes burning on her back. Shifting uncomfortably in her seat, she continued working when Ken suddenly came from behind and placed a cup of hot coffee on her desk. Ayano looked up surprised.

"Want to go for a break", Ken asked.

Ayano stretched out her arms and took the mug, "Sure"

They strolled out to the terrace of the office and from the corner of the eye, Ayano saw the cold demeanor of Kazume. He didn't care about his colleagues or atleast that's what he was trying to do.

As they came out of their office, Ken smiled, "Thanks for being there yesterday"

"Ofcourse, its hard settling into your job and…..having to deal with a heartbreak at the same time"

"I left my hometown to be with her. She wanted to start a life with me so I moved here"

Ayano's eyes softened. She didn't know he took up this job for her.

"People always fall out of love right?" Ken smiled at her when he saw her sad face.

Ayano looked away flustered and said, "Ofcourse not. Only the right ones end up staying together"

"I just don't know what made her do that. She could have just broken up with me and then dated someone else. I wouldn't have minded."

"I guess, she was scared to tell you that she wanted to break up"

"Maybe. I anyway hated her voice, her personality, her cat…..and her perfectly shaped eyes!" Ken broke up into tears.

Ayano moved closer and touched his shoulder, "Her infidelity has nothing to do with your love. Unlike what she did, what you had for her was genuine and beautiful. Many people don't even know how to love another person but you loved her so dearly. "

"I don't know if I will ever love someone else again" Ken started wiping his tears.

Ayano pressed her lips, 'I don't know that myself, either'.

She sipped her coffee which was no longer steaming hot but was warm enough like a cosy hug. She nudged him to drink his.

"This feels like a warm hug", said Ken.

"Everything will fall into place" Ayano took his hand and held it.

It was a friendly gesture to show support, atleast that's what Ayano and Ken understood when they smiled at each other. But someone was getting very annoyed look at them and their blooming friendship.

Soon, Ken and Ayano went back to their desks. Before taking a second cup of coffee back to his table, Ken said, "Ayano, how about we set each other up?"

This took her by surprise but then she remembered, she wanted to date. She wanted to get over her feelings for Kazuma. She quickly said, "Yes, that sounds like a plan"

"Very well," smiled Ken, "Don't let me down then!"

Kazuma heard that and his fingers stopped typing. He couldn't believe his ears.
