"Well, here we are," Ludwig said as he pulled up to Mei's apartment.

"It's been a fun week," Feliciano said quietly looking out the window. Slowly he turned to face Ludwig.

"It really has," Ludwig said softly stroking Feliciano's hair

"So I guess this is goodbye until August," Feliciano said with some hesitation.

"I mean I have free time next Friday night..."

"I think I'm free that night too," Feliciano said with a smile.

"So is it a date?"

"Yes," Feliciano responded almost immediately. He looked down for a moment. "Is it alright if I..."

"Go ahead," Ludwig said with an assuring smile. Quickly Feliciano leaned over and gave him a small peck on the cheek. Slowly he walked out of the car and grabbed his bags from the back.

"See you next week."

"See you next week," Ludwig continued to smile. Feliciano stood there for a few seconds before closing the door. He ran up the steps, turning back he saw Ludwig's car still there. He sighed a little before pulling out his keys. His old house one still sticking out to him but he quickly grabbed the one for Mei's apartment. He ran inside and peaked out of the window. Standing there, he watched Ludwig drive away until the car was out of his sight.

"I'll see you soon," Feliciano said as he started to walk away.

"Hey you're back," Mei said as Feliciano walked through the door.

"Hi," Feliciano said as he walked inside the apartment. Gently he placed his bags on the ground. "How was your week?"

"It was good rather uneventful." Mei smiled slyly to herself as Feliciano had his back to her. "So how's the boyfriend?"

"How did you," Feliciano started to ask before stopping himself. "Tezera..."

Mei laughed to herself. "Awww Feli, you shy about your boyfriend? Come on I want to know everything!"

"Mei it's only been a week! We haven't even gone on a date yet."

"Yet haven't gotten on one yet." Mei leaned over the couch as Feliciano walked next to her. "Do you have one planned yet?"

"One next week actually," Feliciano said as he sat down.

"Oh, exciting. Where are you going?"

"I don't know yet," Feliciano laughed nervously. He stood back up quickly. "I have to unpack."

Without another word walked back to his bag. He pulled out the storage bins he was currently using and opened them. Quietly he started to put his stuff away. Mei leaned over the couch but remained quiet. The more he packed the slower he did it. His mind still not leaving Ludwig. It was weird. He didn't think he'd missed Ludwig so much already. But there was just something about him that made him different. Even if they had barely been dating for a week.

Hi Ludwig! Ludwig looked down at his phone and saw the text from his boyfriend.

Hi Feliciano. Is everything alright?

Just excited about our date! Ludwig smiled upon seeing the text. He collapsed on his bed a little. Rereading the text message over and over again. The word date sticking out to him. Less than a year ago the thought of going on a date was foreign to him. Something that could only happen in a wild far off dream. But here he was, reading a text from his boyfriend. His actual boyfriend. Part of him worried this was all some crazy dream. That would wake up back in his dorm on that day. But it felt so real.

I can't wait for it either.

Feliciano was silent for a moment. Ludwig didn't mind. He looked out of the window, it was decently dark out but that doesn't mean he wasn't going out with his friends. It wasn't something he was a fan of but that he wasn't gonna discourage Feliciano from doing so.

Any places around where you are?

No! Ludwig was taken aback by the start of the message. I don't want you driving two hours for a date!

I honestly don't mind. Besides you don't even have a car.

I can find a way!

Well I don't want you taking an Uber for two hours either!

The two of them were silent for a moment. Until Feliciano said, What if we meet halfway?

Ludwig sat there for a little bit. Rereading the message a few times over before sending, Sure sounds good.

"You know West," Gilbert said as he leaned on the couch in his apartment. "The more I'm with Lizzie the more I'm glad I asked her out. So I know you and your buddies got to spend the weekend at our folk's place anything interesting occur?"

"Well, you remember Feliciano?" Ludwig asked nervously. Gilbert nodded but smiled slyly. "We start dating..."

"My god are you serious?" Gilbert shouted leaning closer to Ludwig. Ludwig looked away for a second before nodding. "I can't believe this! My baby brother finally got himself a boyfriend."

"Would you be quiet? I don't need the whole world knowing about this."

"Oh come on West." Gilbert jokingly pushed Ludwig a little as he laughed. "I just want to be happy for my baby bro. So how'd you do it? How'd you ask him out?"

"It was causal. I accidentally told him how I felt about him and he said he felt the same. Next thing I knew we were dating."

The next thing he knew, Gilbert burst out laughing. Ludwig froze and little and glared at his brother.

"Sorry West that is so funny!" Gilbert wrapped his arm around Ludwig. Pulling his younger brother close and rubbing his head. Ludwig tried his best to break free. "Oh come that was such a you way to do things!"

"I didn't mean to," Ludwig said annoyed as he fixed his hair. "It just sort of happened. A heat of the moment thing. We have our first date next week and to be honest, I'm nervous about it."

"Awww West. Don't worry being nervous is perfectly normal. I'll be honest with you I was terrified on my first date with Elizabeta."

"Really you were nervous?" Ludwig asked in a half-joking tone.

"I know. I know. It's a weird thing for your awesome brother to say." Gilbert leaned back a little and stretched out his arms. Ludwig just rolled his eyes. "But it's true I had butterflies in my stomach and didn't even know if I could make it. But I was just myself and hey we're still together. If Feliciano loves you enough to agree to date then there is something there. And if you don't do then I'll be frank, you could lose him."

"Trust me Gilbert." Ludwig sighed a little. "I fear that every day."

"Mei which shirt looks better," Feliciano asked as he dug two shirts out of one of the boxes. "The navy or the dark green."

"Hmm." Mei leaned over the couch and looked at the shirts. "How about the dark green one. The color suits you better."

"You think so?" Feliciano asked holding the dark green sweater close to him. He held out the sleeve and looked it over.

"Feli what would I gain from lying to you? And it is a nice shirt." She thought about it for a moment. "Where are you two even going anyway?"

"Just some restaurant nothing fancy," Feliciano said as he took off his shirt. Looking at his binder, he adjusted it a little before putting the dark green shirt on. "I just want to look nice."

"I'm sure he'll like whatever you wear," Mei told him in a soft tone.

"I have no idea why I'm so nervous." Feliciano laughed and rubbed the back of his head. "We've hung out before only now it's with a romantic context... Just like how we'd normally hang out!"

"It's normal to be nervous." Mei stood up from the couch and walked over to him. "I was a wreck when Kiku and I started dating. Overthinking every little thing but thankfully everything calmed down."

"We're you worried that if something goes wrong that everything won't go back to normal."

"As soon as you agreed to date him you stopped things from everything getting back to normal."

"I know," Feliciano said quietly.

"Well don't you look handsome," Karla said walking into Ludwig's room.

"Thank you, Mom," Ludwig said a little quietly. he looked down for a second before adjusting his collar again.

"You know, Feliciano is a very lucky guy," Karla said placing her hand on Ludwig's shoulder.

"Mom," Ludwig said rolling his eyes.

"Oh, what can't I be happy my baby boy found someone," Karla in a joking tone.

"Karla darling leave him alone," Wolfgang said standing in the doorway.

"Alright, alright," Karla said defeated but smiling.

"I should get going," Ludwig said shortly after. Looking at his phone.

"Have a good night son," Wolfgang said walking out of the doorway. Karla walked over to Wolfgang and leaned her hand on his shoulder.

"Thanks, Father," Ludwig said as he walked out of his room and started to head downstairs.

"We can't wait to hear all about it," Karla called to him.

Ludwig turned back to his parents and gave them a small, warm smile. Slowly he walked out to his car. Gently pulling out his phone to text Feliciano he was on his way. Taking a deep breath in, he started to drive away.
