Hey Guys, Thanks for coming back to read another section.. hope you enjoyed the Rachel POV.

Kim

She had just gotten back from doing some volunteer work at the local school in Rwanda. Turning on her phone she noticed she had a phone call from a unknown number and a missed phone call from Tom. She was surprised she hadn't heard from Tom in ages and now she had a missed call from him. Sitting down in a chair overlooking the town of Rwanda she called back the unknown number. A woman picked up saying she was the headteacher of Waterloo Road and inquiring on wether Kim would want her old job back as Head of Pastrol. Kim was surprised firstly she thought Jack was still head teacher also surely there were better choices for head of pastrol than her, Tom Clarkson for instance. The woman who Kim had come to learn was Rachel Mason told Kim that a student was tragically murdered and they wanted a clean fresh start. They both agreed that it was best if Kim returned to the school and saw for herself what it was like. After the phone call with Rachel she took a moment to herself she couldn't believe it how could it get to that point even when the school was at its worst it never got that bad... Her phone vibrated it was Tom again she picked up. As she listened to Tom explaining that he didn't mean to spring it on her but he needed to quit after what happened. Kim asked the question that deep down she didn't want to know the answer to she just hoped it wasn't the person who deep down she thought it was. Tom gave her the confirmation that she was dreading it was Maxine Barlow. Shock, Supirise and Sadness went through Kim's mind. She thought about how much of a difference waterloo road had made to Maxine in a small space of time. Janeece and Steph had a good influence on her in fact it was Kim's fostering scheme in the first place which was the reason why Maxine was allowed to stay with Steph. Putting the phone down on Tom she decided that she needed to return that place needed help and Kim wanted to be the one to give it.

Walking up the steps of Waterloo Road. Kim was amazed so much of it had changed it looked diffrent and the atmosphere was diffrent she walked past classrooms, classrooms which held so much nostalgia. Stopping at one she noticed the cooler surprised she went in she didn't expect it to still be there. It was only meant to be a temporary thing sighing she walked back down to the entrance of the school a particular memory came rushing back it was serval years ago when Chlo, Donte, Maxine and Janeece were little year 7's. They stood outside the entrance ready for their first day of secondary school. Tom and Steph were trying to get them to behave and follow their instructions. Kim smiled a sad smile there was no knowing that those two teachers would be so impactful and important to that group in just a couple of years fast forward to just two years ago. Work experience, when Andrew Jack and Kim were so quick to judge maxine assume she stole the wallet. Drawing a sharp breath she pulled out her phone to call Rachel. She was going to make sure no one else gets judged as quickly as the Waterloo Road kids used to be. She was going to help change this school.

Mornings were the worst, sickness the stomach pain. It's not that she didn't want the child she did more than anything in the world she just didn't want what the child represented. A painful chapter of her life. She understood now why Rachel was trying to warn her about how controlling Max truly was she didn't listen and now she had to live with the consequences. Rachel had seen it all before, they all had... they lived through it after all. Rachel Steph Tom Janeece Chlo even Bolton and Paul had all tried to warn Maxine off Earl Kelly but Maxine was too headstrong. She sighed as she remembered how that ended a bunch of traumatised school kids and teachers. She was so stupid how didn't she realise at the beginning. Max's problems with Steph weren't just professional it was also personal. Steph kept trying to warn Kim because she had lived through it with Maxine. She looked down at the bump that was growing day by day. She just hoped that someone would be there when the baby was born that she wouldn't have to give birth alone like she knew Maxine did. That was what scared her the most. Yes she had Chris but she couldn't expect him to do everything. Kim put her head in her hands and just hoped that everything would turn out different.

She smiled as she took a look a quick glance around the room. It was a sight better than the school she came back too a year and a half ago. However the school she had left with Andrew well it was non existent. Rachel had done a great job with the school taking it to strength to strength. Kim was sure that people like Chris, Tom among others will continue to ensure that this school remains a professional and safe environment to work and study in. She sighed it was a shame that something so tragic had to happen in order to bring about these drastic changes but she knew that Maxine would be glad that no one would ever have to deal with the extent of the issues she did. There was now steps and things in place to safeguard these children. Kim walked towards her car and took one last look at the school. A school that had been a big part of her life for a number of years. She knew whatever school she ended up working at it would be nowhere near as impactful as working at Waterloo Road.
