8. Update

Well if you're wondering what's happened to the story. All I have to say is

I don't know how many people read my authors note at the beginning of the chapters, but if you do then you would of known that I was having problems with my service from about November 16, the day I posted chapter 7, and early December. My service was 3G- 4G LTE two bars maximum. This effected my pace of writing as it would take a long time to load the website itself and the app.

So what happened?

Well when I called, the nice operator lady told my that the neighboring cell tower went "down" and the people who was on that tower was sucking off the one that I'm on, and adding on to the fact that two holidays (Thanksgiving and Christmas) was relatively close, people would be using the service more aggressively which made it worse. She said that people were going to work on it. When? Idk. So I decided that I would hold off on working on chapter 8.

But wait, it gets worse!

My service for some reason dipped to 1X with 3G being maximum! So I literally waited an 1 hour snd 47 minutes to call Verizon which the lines must of been busy with people complaining. So, I finally get on the line and the operator tells me that the tower that they were working on fixing got fucked up even more than what it was. And guess what? The tower that I get my service from, they fucked that tower up too! Apparently they wanted to check my tower out to make sure everything was fine, but boy they made it worse.

So I tried to write the chapter. I really did, but it's literally hell.

To put this into perspective about how slow 1X service is. 1X service has a MAXIMUM speed of 153 Kibibyte per second both ways which is 0.156672 of a Megabyte. In order to get 1 Megabyte you need 1,000 Kibibytes.

I only get about a tenth of that. And remember that is maximum, you can get even slower.

A couple days ago I tried to write out a chapter. In fact I did. When I waited for the site to load I started writing and I got at least 4,000 words in.
But then the site crashed.

So I tried again
And again
And again
And again

It had gotten to stress inducing and cumbersome.

Write it in Samsung Notes, Google Docs, Microsoft Word etc. you say?

Already tried, barely loads and even if I write something it won't save.

The only reason you're reading this is because I'm using McDonald's wifi while I wait for my food...

All in all expect a chapter at any time between next week or after new years

Also, WTF! I jumped when I saw this story had damn near 300 follows and over 300 favs.

I just want to thank you guys for sticking with me, and I'm going to keep thanking at every hundred.

Just bare with me for a while longer.
