It was a stormy night.
Tem ran , his eyes filled with fear. He ran into a room and closed the door. The monster slammed on the door , growling. ''Are you really going to do this? Eat me , your classmate?'' He said. ''We've had so many classes together...'' The door burst open. Tem came flying and rolled on the floor. The door closed. It looked at him , eyes blazing with hunger. ''We herbivore are all just food to you , aren't we?''
The alpaca got up , walking backwards. Crunch! He stepped on a remote lying on the floor.
MUTUAL UNDERSTANDING WITH DIFFERENT SPECIES
The words projected bold and bright on the screen. Tem stared at horror. It growled , it's breath showing faintly. ''All you carnivores ... ARE MONSTERS!'' It opened it's jaws and devoured Tem.
A loud scream echoed through the night ...
IN THE MORNING
''GOD DAMN IT!'' Miguno yelled , slamming his cards down. The room 701 members all laughed. ''We could read you like a book!'' Jack said. A gazelle walked out of the building. ''Oh , morning Lisa! Why are you up so early? Did ya forget something? The school buildings aren't open yet'' The gazelle looked at Jack , gulped , and walked away. ''Huh ... That's weird. She probably didn't see me...'' He said. ''You probably hurt her feelings or something'' Miguno said.
''No , I couldn't. Something's seriously wrong'' Jack said. ''Hey look! What's going on?'' Miguno questioned. ''The students are pouring out of their dorm...'' Durham noted. Students were surrounding the Lecture Hall 2. Cops were on the site , speaking with their radios , entering the building. ''Teachers , send the students back to the dorms!''
''Hey , it's true...''
''Someone was killed!''
''Tem's the victim!''
Jack and the others walked over to the herbivores. ''What on earth happened? It's so early ...'' He asked. The donkey looked at him. ''An alpaca boy , Tem , was found dead in Lecture Hall 2. The police suspect a carnivore who is here...'' The donkey stared at him , hate and disgust in her eyes ''...killed him.'' She finished. ''A-are you saying one of us ...!'' She slammed the Drama Club's sharing book in Jack hands.
''That weird wolf guy ... Legosi ... He's your roomate right? Give this to him at Drama Club'' She said and walked away from them. ''What? Why don't you do it? You're going to Drama Club today!'' She shot him a stern look. ''Are you kidding? I'm not talking to a huge grey creepy wolf the day a HERBIVORE was eaten!'' The donkey said as she walked away with her herbivore friends. Legosi stood behind a building. He watched them , scratching his fur.
AT DRAMA CLUB
''Hey did ya'll here? Tem was killed!''
''It doesn't seem real! Our play is only a week away!''
''It's not gonna be easy to find a replacement...''
''Ahem. Everyone , come around'' Sanu said , walking in the room. He held a paper in his hand.
''It's Wednesday. We don't really do anything in Drama Club. But today , I wanted to share some news'' He said. ''A member of our Drama Club , Tem , was found murdered in Lecture Room 2 , uhmm... HUH? Why are the carnivores and herbivores sitting apart ...''
''Don't you know , Sanu...'' Ellen stated ''The only carnivores Tem was around were these ones...''
''WHAT'S YER POINT? ARE YOU ACCUSING US?!"
''ADMIT IT! YOU CARNIVORES WERE JEALOUS BECAUSE TEM GOT THE MOST GOOD ROLE! THAT SEEMS ACCURATE TO ME!''
''YOU HERBIVORES ARE ALLWAYS DOING THIS! YOU PLAY THE VICTIM AND TRASH US BEHIND OUR BACKS!''
''YOU WANNA FIGHT? GO ON! CARNIVORES WILL GET EXPELLED AND HAVE CHARGES PRESSED IF THEY HURT HERBIVORES!''

The lights flashed off. Everyone clinged to each other.
''What happened?''
''Who turned off the lights?''
''Did the power go out?''
The lights turned back on.
''Um , sorry. The lighting panel just malfunction...'' Legosi hopped off. ''But please , go on... I hate to interrupt'' The Drama Club members stared in amazement at the big grey wolf. ''Legosi...'' Bill said breathlessly. Domu looked at him. ''Hey , Legosi! You hung out with Tem a lot! Do you know anything about this?'' The wolf stayed quiet. ''Legosi...?''
''Tem ... had regrets. There were so many things he hadn't got the chance to do''. A flamingo student looked at Legosi suspiciously. ''H-how would you know?!'' He turned to look at him. ''Wouldn't we all feel this way? If we were to all die suddenly?'' Legosi then turned his head to the female angora goat , Els.
''Hey Els , I have a question to ask you''
''H-huh? Me?
''How are you feeling about Tem's death? Are you sad?''
''I-I hardly interacted with him! But yes ... I am sad...''
AFTER THE DRAMA CLUB MEETING
GIRLS DORM
The herbivores were in their room. Els stood by her locker , frozen. ''You guys , why do you think Legosi singled me out to ask that?'' She asked. ''Legosi's a tech guy! All tech guys are freaks! But he was acting really weird today...'' Shelia noted. ''Legosi frightened me...''
''He was staring at me like he was saying You're next...''
The lemur girl stared at her. ''You worry about everything , Els! I'm sure it's nothing!''
BOYS DORM
''Why do we have to fight on the day one of our members died! Is this how our award-winning Drama Club acts?'' Sanu sighed. ''How are we gonna replace Tem's role?'' Bill scratched his head. ''It won't be easy finding a replacement'' The crocodile student nodded in agreement. Suddenly they all stared in front of them.
Legosi was standing by Tem's open locker , a book in his hand. ''Hey there , Legosi!'' Bill called. ''Leaving already?'' Sanu said , surprised. ''Um , yeah. I fixed a spotlight today , see ya'' He said in a hurried manner and left. ''Wait! You just ... opened Tem's locker!'' The tiger yelled. ''Why were you there?!'' The crocodile said. Legosi looked at them in a confused matter.
''I'm grabbing a book I lent Tem. I just remembered it was in here''
''Alright , that's enough bickering! Sheesh...'' Sanu murmured. ''Legosi , I don't suspect you as the killer. But if the herbivores were here and saw what you did , It would be the end of you. You need to remember that you're a large carnivore too''
''I know , Sanu. Sorry. I'm used to everyone fearing and hating me. Anyways , I have something important to do'' The wolf said , walking away.
''HEY! DON'T BLOW OFF OUR CLUB PRESIDENT!''

Legosi stood. He sniffed the air and parted his jaws to taste. It was a full moon.

Els and the lemur were walking. ''Do you feel better now Els?'' She asked. ''Y-yeah. But what if he starts acting like that Tomorrow in Drama Club?'' Els said , wiping her wool. ''We'll talk to him. Legosi will listen!'' She replied cheerfully. Els looked up at her. ''Really? You think?'' The lemur smiled and nodded her head. ''Yes!''
The sheep heaved a sighed and relaxed her shoulders. ''You're right. Legosi has no reason to target me! He could be awkward sometimes!'' I guess I do worry about everything! Heh!
She hugged Els and held her hand. ''Well , I need to go! If you feel scared , you can come to my dorm!'' Els nodded , waving her hand. I'll go straight to my dorm... Huh. I wonder what time it is? Els looked on her watch. Shoot! I left it in the Drama Club room! How could I ever do that!? My boyfriend gave that to me!
Els walked to the room. She opened the door. Everyone ... always leaves their stuff around. It's pitch dark... Where did I leave it-
''Hey Els , What are you doing here? You didn't turn on the light''
Els clamped her mouth , tears forming in her eyes and starting to fall from her face. Standing up there , was the tall , huge grey wolf Legosi. ''W-why are you here'' She said , searching to find words. ''I followed you when I heard you say you were coming here. I wanted to be alone with you. I had something to do to you...'' She stared at him in horror.
''I wanted to use this spotlight for Tem's huge scene'' Legosi said , touching the lighting panel. ''Wow... It feels like Tem is standing here ... right now...'' He stared in amazement at the small angora goat. ''Don't shine that on me! Leave me alone!'' She said. Legosi got off and started to walk towards her. ''Don't be afraid. It will be over soon. Now come here...'' Els backed away. She looked for something to defend herself.
Luckily , a small red pair of scissors laid very shortly from her. She grabbed them and pointed them at the wolf. ''You were my friend. But now you're hungry and I'm just food?! DO YOU THINK I'M WORTHLESS?!''
''Me and Tem ... are so much more than you'll ever think!'' Legosi grabbed the scissors from her hand. ''Els...'' She scrunched her face. ''N-no! I'm not succumbing to your hungriness! You're so strong , so powerful , so tall and large like...''
''A DEMON!''
I can't believe I'm about to die! This is my end! Els braced herself , preparing to be devoured in Legosi's jaws.
A pink envelope fell on the floor like a leaf. Legosi and Els looked down at it. ''Pick that up'' Legosi said. Els was confused and frightened by this. ''W-what?!'' He pointed his finger. ''It's for you'' She did as the wolf said. ''I-Is this...?'' Legosi replied ''It's the love letter , Tem was never able to give you...'' He said.
''So... All you wanted ... Was to ... Give this letter ... To me?'' Els asked. Legosi nodded. ''Tem and I ... we hung out a lot. Everytime , I would see him return to his locker with the letter in his hand...''
FLASHBACK
Tem banged his head on his locker in anger. ''Damn it! I couldn't give it to her!'' He yelled. ''You're at your locker again?'' Legosi asked , who was beside him putting his stuff in his locker away and securing it. ''I-it's ok! I'll give it to her when the time is right!'' Tem said.
Legosi and Els sat down. ''I'm so sorry , Els. I shouldn't of gave it to you'' He started. ''Would it have been easy ... to pretend you didn't know about this...?'' Els asked. Legosi turned , looking at her in surprise. Then turned back. ''Yeah...'' Legosi admitted ''But I thought Tem wouldn't want this to be done in public''
She stared at the leaves. 'You're awkward , you know? You frightened me , but you're sweet'' Els smiled.
''I'm so sorry about this , I'll see you tomorrow''
''Yes , see you too. I'll always treasure this letter''
As they parted ways , Els turned her head. ''Uhmmm... Hey!'' Legosi turned his head , ''Hm?'' She walked to him , hanging her head and putting her ears down. "I said some terrible things ... about you...today'' She said. ''I hope you can forgive me'' Legoshi looked at her. ''It's ok. You don't need to do this.'' She was surprised. ''Why?'' Els asked. "Don't tell anyone about tonight , ok? I wouldn't want everyone to know about Tem's first love'' Els was shocked. ''But ... I don't want the others to misunderstand you!''
''It's ok. I'm used to everyone fearing and hating on me'' Legosi walked away. His shoulders slumping as he did.
Els stared in amazement and sadness. She had said some terrible things about Legosi and she regretted it. She wished to take back her words. Legosi ... Els thought.

The curtains flew open. There stood Kai , looking at them with a smile on his face. ''Shut...Up!''
