That's how they felt.

Broken, massacred, decimated, but that's how they felt.

A man in a red hat with a "M" stitched on and shirt with blue overalls and brown shoes did his best to stand and look around to see his allies and friends littered along the ground.

Mario saw to his left, a man with a light blue tunic and blonde hair unconscious with his legendary sword stabbed deep in the ground. Next to Link were two other figures, Kirby and Pikachu had fallen to their feet. Mario turned to his right seeing 4 other fighters down and out. Donkey Kong had many bruises along his body, Samus Aran's armor sparked, Fox McCloud looked broken, and Yoshi's scales shared the same appearance of Donkey Kong, but worse considered he was used to taking hits. His brother, Luigi, couldn't stand. The same could be said about Ness, Captain Falcon, and Jigglypuff.

Mario slowly got to his feet and saw the others...

in the same condition as the original twelve.

Princess Peach and Bowser weren't getting up anytime soon. Popo and Nana's hammer were broken, being wood and all. Zelda and Sheik -the two had split due to being from different timelines- failed to rise up, clutching their arms in agony. His doctor counterpart -alternate dimension situation- had smudges along his lab coat. Pichu, while she did try to fight- was extremely burnt from the attacker. Falco Lombardi had feathers littered around his body. Marth's Falchion and Young Link's Kokri Sword had been embedded like Link's Master Sword. Ganondorf had been pinned underneath various chunks of Earth. Mewtwo was also clutching his body in agony while on the ground. The Binding Blade was inches from Roy's body as he was unresponsive. Mr. Game and Watch's two-dimensional body panted on one frame at a time.

Galaxia was stabbed in Meta Knight's right wing. Pit struggled to rise, using his bow as a cane. Wario, while he was know for his invulnerability, was in a center of a deep crater. Snake's various explosive weapons were all around the stealth agent. Ragnell was stabbed inches away from Ike's face. Red and Leaf's Pokeballs had been broken, it would not have done as much though seeing as their Squirtles, Ivysaurs, and Charizards were beaten. Diddy Kong's was face first on the ground. Lucas played a part in fighting but he was engraved in a cliff, unable to fight with his psychic powers. Sonic's legs looked broken, the threat having immobilized him. King Dedede's jet hammer were meters away from the king himself. Oilmar and Alpha's helmet were cracked and no amount self repair would help them, their armies of Pikmin now dead. Lucario's body had no blue flames, his aura depleted when he attempted to strike. R.O.B. resembled Samus's armor, but sparking at an alarming rate. Toon Link's version of the Master Sword was not found near the body of its wielder. Wolf had sported bruises and broken bones.

Both male and female Villagers couldn't stand. Mega Man sparked in the same manner of the Robotic Operating Buddy. The female and male Wii Fit Trainers were flexible in their pained positions. Rosalina laid on the floor, still graceful as ever, but her Luma had poofed out of existence. Little Mac had been beaten black and blue. Greninja failed to move as he was unable to. The three representatives of the Miis each were unmoving but they are still breathing. Palutena's almighty appearance looked crushed compared to the threat, with her attire sporting burns. Dark Pit had burned wings like his counterpart once did and PAC-MAN was just a yellow body, having bruises around his entire spherical body. Both Robins and Lucina respective weapons were now embedded in the ground. Even Shulk's Monado flickered blue, nowhere near the the Homs' hands or body. Bowser Junior and the Koopalings respective clown cars were smoking and the koopas were miles from the vehicles and each other. The canine of the Duck Hunt duo was head first with his body in the ground in a comical style, the avian in the same manner. Ryu was bleeding along his body and two different Clouds -one in his Final Fantasy 7 costume and Advent Children jacket- had their respective Buster Swords broken. Both Corrins and their Omega Yato Swords couldn't budge one bit. Two different Bayonettas -one from her 2nd game and the other in the 1st game- were also bleeding, their attire being sliced in various places.

An orange and blue Inklings' had ink all around them, their canisters leaking of their unconscious squid forms. Princess Daisy was constricted in various vines, struggling to breathe as the vines tightened. Two different Ridleys -one with natural scales, another with cybernetic implants- both unmoving, but smoked from the intense light blasts. Chrom's Falchion was stuck in the ground and Dark Samus was no longer hovering, both frozen in ice. Simon and Richter had their Vampire Killers, ensnared and stabbing not to deep in their skin. King K. Rool's golden chest was broken, Isabelle resembled her mayors' condition, and Incineroar was stuck in a wall next to Ken, who was slumped against the cliff.

Petey the Piranha Plant's pot was broken, the plant sprawling around without its soil. Joker's mask had been broken, Arsene floating behind him with various holes in his manifestation. The Luminary, Erdrick, Eight, and Solo had their swords inches from them and stabbed nearly in their bodies. Banjo and Kazooie were bruised and unable to move. Terry Bogard was currently engulfed in ice, his chi powers not enough to melt it. Both Byleths, even fused with the power of Sothis, Steve and Alex, both encased in enchanted diamond armor, didn't stand a chance. Min-Min's ARMS were broken and Sephiroth was bleeding like his rival, along with his wing losing feathers. Pyra felt her power almost fading, Mythra also did play a part but was also damaged. Kazuya's scars were deepened, blood dripping from his unconscious body. Sora lacked the strength to reach the Keyblade before falling defeated like the other fighters.

Overall, the figure who did this was an new almighty threat and would greatly pay for nearly killing them all.

"A survivor. Well then you will be the first to die at my hands."

Mario turned to the voice and glared with all his remaining might.

The voice and figure who had caused all the pain was woman floating in the sky like Galeem had done during her World of Light conquest. She has blonde hair that radiated with photokinetic energy. She had two different eye colors, her left had a rainbow hue and her right resembled darkness. Her body was pure white, a glow that was blinding, and in the center: a core that resembled Master Core's true form. She had three sets of appendages sprouting from her back. Two pairs resembled Galeem's wing with their rainbow glow, two more resembled Tabuu's Off Waves' wings, and two tentacles resembling Dharkon's tendrils with red gems at the end. Her arms were slightly darkened and her elbows looked like Subspace itself with small particles of dark energy swirling inside. To her left and right, blades of Master Edge floated around her person.

Mario, being the only conscious fighter, stood with shaky legs. He couldn't bear to see the person in front of him, this threat was no ordinary threat.

Her name was Aurora Alchys.

But to the Smashers...

She was Fighter 00.
