It Was All For You

"Don't lie to me, I know your feelings."

I stood in a tree outside the church watching as the guy I liked, no, the guy I loved get married to some girl that he didn't even know. Yeah, it hurt to watch. But what else can I do? He loves her, not me, never me.

I'm always the one whose alone. I never have anyone nor will I ever.

I jumped down from the tree I was stationed on and lazily walked over to the church window to watch what was happening inside.

Albel, and his soon to be wife, Nel, were at the front making their vows to one another to the priest. I cringed at the sight and my stomach started to twist.

Ignoring the constant pain in my stomach, I put my ear up to the glass and listened.

"Albel, do you take Nel to be your wife?"

Just as he was about to respond he looked over to the window I was at and glanced at me. I quickly turned my head away and jolted from the church as fast as my feet would go and headed into the woods around it.

Why didn't I stay? Was it that hard to just go and except the fact that I wasn't wanted?

I came to a stop when I reached the inner woods. I slowly walked up to the lake and looked at myself. Grass stains covered my clothes and cuts covered my face lightly mixing with my tears.

I looked pathetic.

After calming down a bit I took a seat on the grass and stared into the water.

I have nothing to live for anymore. Nothing. Then why should I stay in this world of pain and hurt?

It's just like me, in a way. Lonely. "I...have no one," I spoke into the wind.

"You have me." I didn't even bother to turn around. I knew who it was.

"Why are you here?" I asked him coldly.

"To come get you."

"What about your wife?" I spat. "Go back to her." I knew what I had to do to get him off my tail. I didn't need him feeling sorry for me.

I started to back up until I reached the edge that seperated me from the water.

"Don't speak, it makes you look stupid." I smiled for the last time and fell backwards into the water. I can't swim, and he knew that. As the water surrounded me and took me down under I could only think of you and how things use to be.

But before my time was up I swear I could hear him whisper," it was all for you."

Confused?Albel leftthe wedding to find her and tell her he loved her and not Nel, but instead he found her about to kill herself. nice, huh?
