Andy: So tell me again why am I wearing this costume? *He was wearing a black dragon costume that had silver horns, back spikes and wings.*

DarkFoxKit: The readers wanted it and you look adorable in that.

Darkzdragon 'Onyx': Absolutely adorable, and fairly accurate.

Andy: Accurate to what? And aren't you going to tell the readers about this so-called chapter?

Darkzdragon 'Onyx': Accurate to the dragons back home, as for this chapter, we should let everyone know. This chapter is a special super long chapter that we think everyone will enjoy. If you do enjoy and want more, please let us know in the reviews and we will do more of what was done in this chapter here. I will say though, if you want a continuation of any story, say that, if you just want more of them in general, say that. If you want both, say that.

DarkFoxKit: I'm sure you have no idea what Onyx meant just now unless you've read the chapter before reading the AN. But you'll see what she means. We could probably ask you guys more about it in the next AN. Oh and consider this chapter to be an April Fools thing from us, but also something we just did for fun.

Andy: How long will I have to stay in this dragon costume?

Darkzdragon 'Onyx': *Smiles and holds up a key* Considering I have the only key, for as long as we want.

Andy: Aww come on, this isn't fair! Am I being punished for something?

DarkFoxKit: Why don't you just relax? The readers love seeing you in costumes, maybe we should try another one next time~

Andy: No way. It's bad enough that you got me into this one!

Darkzdragon 'Onyx': And don't try to use your powers, that costume nullifies your ghost powers, so until we decide, you get to be an adorable dragon~

Andy: I'm calling the union for this!

DarkFoxKit: Andy, we're your union.

Andy: I don't care! *Angrily storms off screen*

DarkFoxKit: … Welp, should we send the readers to the chapter and go calm down the angry baby dragon?

Darkzdragon 'Onyx': Sounds good~~~~

Chapter ?: A Strange Site

I smiled to myself. I finished my homework for the day, there didn't seem to be any ghost attacks, Danny is downstairs with Jazz helping with his homework, my parents are in their lab working on another ghost weapon I'm sure. So it looks like I've got some free time on my hands. I walked over to my computer on my desk, and sat down on my office chair. It's been a while since I got to just freely surf the internet without needing it for a school project or research.

I felt a small tap on my shoulder which startled me. I quickly turned around to see a familiar white goat person. Huh… I didn't sense her. She must've hidden her ghostly aura.

"Juliette? What are you doing here?" I asked, surprised to see her here.

"Oh, I'm sorry, Andy, I didn't mean to startle you. As for what I am doing here, you invited me over, remember?" Juliette responded with a kind smile.

Oh right… I did, didn't I? I thought Juliette might be lonely and asked her to come over in the afternoon. I thought to myself before I looked at my clock. I can't believe it's already afternoon…

"Are you busy? If you're busy then I can just head back to the opera house," Juliette said.

I chuckled, "No, no, it's alright. You're free to stay here, I'm not busy, I was just kind of surfing the internet, see what's interesting to look at. Maybe I could find something interesting about Danny Phantom since he's so popular around here."

"Oh, that sounds exciting." Juliette smiled before she pulled over a chair. She took a few moments to look at the screen before she raised a brow and pointed at the screen. "Andy, what is that?"

I read what she was pointing at on the page. ? There's a fanfiction website? Must be new, I know I would've looked at it if I had seen it before.

I clicked on the link. There were several fandoms to choose from already. "Wow, I guess it's not as recent as I thought or it got flooded with different authors trying to post their fanfiction."

"What is fanfiction?" Juliette asked in confusion.

"Uh well…" I hesitated for a second before I said, "You know how there are people who write stories and publish them as books, right?"

"You mean like with you and your journal?" Juliette asked.

"My journal's more of an autobiography," I stated. "But yes, something like that. A fanfiction is like that, only it's people who are fans of certain things writing about these certain things they are a fan of. Like the Crash Nebula TV show, if a fan wrote a story using characters and lore from that show, which is sometimes referred to as a fandom, then it's considered a fanfiction."

"Do you have a favorite fandom?" Juliette questioned. "And have you written any fanfiction yourself?"

I blushed a bit, "Yeah, of course, I just never knew you could post them online. My favorite fandom… well there is this anime show that I-"

I stopped when I noticed one of the choices on the fanfiction site that shocked me. "What the heck?"

"What do you see?" Juliette asked, looking to where I was looking. "All I see is a long list of fanfictions, there has to be thousands of them."

"Look," I said before I zoomed in on the words. "Right there."

Juliette leaned in to see where exactly I was pointing. It took a few seconds before her eyes finally landed on two words: 'Danny Phantom'.

"There's fanfiction about your brother? Does is say who the author is?" Juliette asked in confusion.

"No, because this will take me to the site where people wrote for this… fandom…?" I said, confused by that. I knew Danny's ghost form was famous in Amity Park, but does that count as a 'fandom'?

"Maybe you should open it up then?" Juliette suggested.

"Yeah, I'm curious about this myself," I said before I moved my mouse's cursor over to the link and clicked on it.

There was a big list of story titles in the Danny Phantom fandom. There were several different author names, though most of them were nonsense pen names. There were also pictures on the left side of the titles, probably either the author's avatar or the image for the story itself.

"There's so many of them," I said, surprised. "I didn't even think most people outside of Amity Park knew ghosts exist, let alone Danny Phantom!"

"This is curious… I wonder what exactly this means? Does this mean more know about your brother than we thought?" Juliette asked.

I frowned as I looked at the summaries to these stories. "That's weird… they're not just stories about my brother's ghost form. Some of them are even including my family, like Mom, Dad, Jazz… and even Tucker and Sam… Dash too? And there's more. They even seem to know Danny's half ghost, and is also Danny Fenton! How? It's like all these people know everything about us."

"Perhaps they saw how similar the names were and put two and two together?" Juliette offered. "Fenton and Phantom do sound quite similar."

"No, even if these people could make that connection, they seem to know way more than just that," I said, frowning. "It's almost creepy. But… I don't seem to be… anywhere… in these stories?"

I looked up at the filters on top of the list of stories. I moved my cursor over the characters, a list of characters came down. They showed all the people I knew, and even some of the ghosts I've fought with. They even knew… Clockwork? But I wasn't listed on there, neither was Juliette. Maybe they don't know everything then? It's still weird. I should probably check out some of the stories...

"Let's see…" I looked at each of the titles.

One of the titles stuck out and when I read the summary, I found it interesting.

"The Phantom Protector," I read out loud for Juliette to hear. "The summary says 'Someone shows up in Amity Park that Danny once knew well. What will happen when the two reunite?'."

"Wait, you've been with Danny all your life, right? Was there any ever girl besides Sam that you two have hung out with?" Juliette asked me in confusion.

"It's a fanfiction, Juliette," I explained. "None of this stuff actually happened… I don't think…"

"As do I," Juliette said with a small frown before I clicked open the story.

"Background story… background story… more background story…" I grumbled as I read chapter after chapter. "When is their actual reunion? This is probably the most filler filled fanfiction ever… Why couldn't they have just put the entire backstory into a single chapter and gotten on with the actual story in the next?"

"Did they even mention the girl that Danny supposedly know?" Juliette asked.

"They mentioned her meeting him when they were kids, like at 5 or 6 years old, and then she just disappeared and the rest is talking about Danny's childhood days… without me in it," I added bitterly.

"What point of view is it written in?" Juliette asked quickly, trying to distract me from my bitterness.

"Looks like it's written in the original character's first person point of view, it says her name is Alexis," I answered. "The way it uses 'I' all the time. 'Danny and I playing hide and seek on his 6th birthday' and a few other examples like that."

"Oh dear… the spelling and grammar… seems rushed at best," Juliette remarked as she looked at the screen. "It's like the were trying with their hands behind their backs. One question, how would she know what's going on for parts she wasn't there for?"

"Probably because it was written by someone who's not much of a writer?" I said with a shrug. "At least it's readable. And as for how she knows for parts she wasn't there for… I think they're implying that she's invisibly, somehow, still watching over Danny… even though they never actually said that anywhere. Now, before I start losing my sanity let's get to the next chapter which is… ahh! Chapter one, no more prologues!"

The Phantom Protector

Alexis' POV

To think that Danny would undergo something similar to my accident… I thought to myself as I invisibly flew through the sky, patrolling Amity Park.

I smiled to myself as I thought back to Danny's last fight where he finished off Skulker all on his own, proving just how much he had grown in such a short time. Granted I have been secretly helping Danny during his fights, making sure he wouldn't get too hurt out there. I wouldn't want to see Danny getting hurt after all, he is my best friend.

Thankfully he never saw me due to my invisibility and he never sensed me because I knew how to keep my aura hidden. At first I wanted to try and stop him from fighting at all, but I remembered how much he said he wanted to grow up to be ghost hunters like his parents were when we were younger.

Danny has turned out to be quite the hero, and he's grown handsome too. I wonder what he would think of me now? We are the same… we are both half ghosts, maybe he'd be more than happy to see me, and maybe I could teach him how to be half ghost, unlike that evil Vlad.

No, stupid brain, I can't take the risk of him noticing me until it's time! I inwardly yelled at myself. Danny needs to get a lot stronger before I can reveal myself to him. If I tried to reveal myself to him now, I would only end up putting his life at risk. I have too many enemies that would like to find out what my weakness is, if they ever knew it was Danny… no, I just need to wait.

Months have gone passed, and yet I continue to watch in silence. I made sure to always stay close to Danny to keep him safe. For some reason, I felt a bubble of anger whenever that goth girl Sam got too close to him. I felt similar anger whenever Danny looked at that pretty Paulina girl. I know I'm so much more beautiful than those two would ever be, but it still angers me that Danny looks at them like they're the most beautiful things he's ever seen.

Suddenly I was brought back to reality when I heard a loud crash. I looked up and saw the entire roof of the school being torn off before being tossed away. When the roof was tossed away I narrowed my eyes. I was staring at one of my enemies, in fact my arch enemy Villiex.

Villiex was a huge silver and white ghost dragon with glowing golden eyes, he was far bigger than Prince Aragon, and even more dangerous. If Villiex wanted, he could easily wipe out Prince Aragon's entire kingdom with just one breath. Danny is no match for him as he is now, what am I going to do?

"Come out, Alexis!" Villiex roared before he hoisted up one of his gigantic claws, holding an all too familiar shape. "I have something that I'm sure you wish to protect~"

"Let me go, you overgrown winged lizard!" I gasped when I saw and heard Danny yell as he struggled in Villiex's hold.

"Not until Alexis shows her pitiful face, you ignorant ghost brat!" Villiex yelled at Danny before he let out a roar of golden fire into the sky. "Come out, Alexis! I know you are here! You never stray far from this halfa whelp!"

"What? Who is Alexis?" I heard Danny yell.

I glared as my eyes glowed a dangerous crimson glow. I flew up to Villiex's face and made myself visible. I briefly heard Danny gasp when I showed myself.

"There you are, Alexis," Villiex said with an evil smirk. "If you had taken any longer I would've made your boy toy a nice snack!"

"How dare you try to hurt him. And how dare you force me to show myself to him before I was ready," I hissed in a low tone, but enough for Villiex to hear me.

In my ghost form, I had beautiful and straight, long white hair that glowed red as my mental state became serious. My eyes would normally be a sparkling emerald green like Danny's ghost form, but they always turned a crimson red when I was angered. My clothes were always the same since my own accident, I was in a knee length battle dress that went from an ice blue at the bottom to a glowing green at my shoulders. No matter how much damage I ever took, my clothes would always be pristine, never getting torn or burned. They also provided me with protection from most energy attacks, while not negating them completely, they would make any attacks hurt a lot less. And finally, my aura would glow a bright, pure white when I took off my Ghost Core's limiters.

"You will pay for what you have done!" I shouted at Villiex in anger.

"What will you make me do, Princess? Are you going to beg me to let go of your prince? Or are you going to throw a hissy fight like always?" Villiex taunted giving a laugh that shook the sky.

I tightened my hands into a fist, putting my powers into them. I could see my fists glowing with green ecto energy, but the energy slowly started to turn red, and the red turned white. I was going to make sure Villiex paid, and hopefully never bother me again.

Before Villiex could react, I pointed both my hands towards his head and fired a blindingly bright beam of white energy. When the light began to dim, there was a void where Villiex's head had been, all that remained was a single floating orb which I floated towards, recognizing it as Villiex's Ghost Core.

"You made a mistake, Villiex, and for that, you pay with your existence," I said before I grabbed the Ghost Core and shattered it in my hand.

I sighed to myself before I looked down, seeing Danny floating there in his own ghost form. He looked so handsome as a ghost.

"Al...exis…?" Danny asked in shock as he looked at me, slowly floating closer towards me.

I shyly turned away from him as my hair went back to white, and my eyes went back to their normal emerald. My white aura dissipating as I calmed myself down. "I'm sorry Danny, but you… you shouldn't have saw me… and… wait a minute… you know who I am?"

"Well he was saying your name," Danny said with a kind smile, floating around me until he was in front of me. "But that was enough to make me remember all our times as children… and the crush I had on you…"

I looked up at Danny, locking eyes with him, when had he gotten so close? I started to feel myself blushing deeply. "You had a crush on me? … But you didn't remember me, did you?"

"I'm sorry I ever forgot you, Alexis," Danny apologized. "I didn't realize you became a halfa too, and such a strong and beautiful one. I may have forgotten, but I remember now, and I promise I will never ever forget you again… you know my love for you never-"

Andy's POV

"Nope! No no no! I am not reading anymore of that crap!" I angrily said as I backed out of the story.

"Wow… I was reading a little ahead of you and they actually kissed," Juliette said in a confused tone. "That's… nonsensical… Why would they just kiss like that? They barely knew each other as kids, why when she suddenly appears, Danny falls in love with her right away?"

I groaned as I said, "That, my dear Juliette, would be an example of how not to do an OC, original character. There's a couple words for that kind of OC, they're called OP Characters, which stands for OverPowered Characters. She's also an example of a Mary Sue character, a character that's almost or is flawless in every way."

"Maybe we should stay away from OC stories," Juliette suggested as she looked at me. "After that last one you look a little… pale."

"No, I think I'm just going to try and filter out 'Mary Sue/Gary Stu'," I responded as I went into the filters and looked around the options.

"By the way, could your hair turn red, or your ecto blasts white?" Juliette asked me as I looked at the options.

"... No," I answered with a groan. "At least not the red hair thing, I can't rule out white ecto blasts being a possibility. I mean I've seen tons of ghosts doing different things I wouldn't think possible, so anything could be possible. Also, Danny would've been cautious and angry that someone just outright killed a ghost, evil or not." Although Danny did have dark red hair before… ugh, better not think about that.

"Are you sure you want to look at another story after that last one?" Juliette asked in concern.

"I'm still curious about this strange site," I answered. "What kind of stories were written about my… world. One bad story isn't going to scare me away."

"Let's just hope the next story you look at is better," Juliette remarked.

I looked through the list of stories again. There were several of them that seem to talk about Danny's origin, showing the 'first month' that he got his powers. I didn't need to read about those, because I was there… sort of. There were also alternate universe ones where Danny wasn't even a half ghost, but something else entirely. I almost laughed at some of the other ones where Danny was secretly Pariah Dark's son and our parents adopted him. Although that would be disturbing if that was true.

After all, how do I know that Danny and I aren't actually adopted? I shook my head. Oh come on, that's stupid. A DNA test would be all that proves it anyways, and these are just fanfictions.

"What's that one?" Juliette asked before she pointed at one titled 'My Brother's Big Secret'.

I looked at the summary of the story Juliette pointed out to me.

"'To think that my twin brother is the hero of Amity Park, and a half ghost at that. Danny Phantom is by far the most awesome brother ever, and I plan to help him any way I can. My name is Darin Fenton, and I am the twin brother of Danny Phantom.'"

I rolled my eyes at that, "Oh yeah, 'Darin'? Does that mean you're actually me with a different name or are you a long lost triplet that I've never seen before?"

"Andy, you're stalling, if you really want to read the story you should just open it before you have more time to think about it," Juliette pointed out.

"You have a point, though I actually am pretty interested in it myself," I said before I clicked on the story.

My Brother's Big Secret

Darin was playing video games with his twin brother Danny, and their long time best friends Tucker and Sam, when suddenly their father, Jack, called them from the kitchen.

"Kids! Come in here! I got something to show you!" Jack yelled excitedly.

"Wonder what he wants with us now?" Both Darin and Danny spoke together.

"It's creepy when you guys do that," Tucker groaned.

"I think it's pretty funny," Sam chuckled. "Mainly because it creeps you out, Tucker."

"Hurry up, kids! I'll be waiting in the lab!" Jack yelled before they heard his heavy footsteps rushing down the stairs.

"We better get going," Both Danny and Darin said at the same time again before they chuckled.

"If we don't get going now," Danny started.

"Then Dad will probably come back up here and drag us downstairs," Darin finished, causing a chill to run down Tucker's spine.

"You two are doing this on purpose, aren't you?" Tucker groaned.

"Maybe we are," Darin said with a smile.

"But maybe we're not," Danny added.

"It could just be a twin thing," Both Darin and Danny said at the same time again, looking at each other with a smile before they grinned at Tucker's annoyed face.

Darin, Danny, Tucker and Sam walked into the kitchen, seeing Maddie standing in front of the door to the lab. "Hurry up kids, your father and I have something important to show you."

"Hey, Darin, wait a second, can I get your hand on something?" Jazz asked Darin before he got to the door. "It'll only take a second."

"Uh… sure I guess. What do you need help with, Jazz?" Darin asked while the others headed downstairs.

"I have a research report I'm doing on twin telepathy and I wanted to interview you before I interviewed Danny," Jazz responded. "Just so you know, you aren't allowed to tell Danny anything of what I wanted as it will corrupt my results."

"You're interviewing me first because I'm the younger twin, aren't you?" Darin pointed out with a frown.

"You were born only a few seconds after Danny, so you're only a younger twin by seconds," Jazz countered. "Now, first question, I want you to picture a colored object in your mind and tell me what it is. It can be any colored object like a pink ball or a green ambulance, there are no rules."

Darin raised an eyebrow at that weird request before he let himself picture a white cat with wings. "Okay, I'm done."

"What did you picture in your mind?" Jazz asked, pulling out a notepad.

"A white cat with angelic wings," Darin answered with a shrug. "It was from a series I was watching."

Darin watched as Jazz began writing that down.

"Jack, come back here this instant! How many times have I told you not to leave chili-dogs in the specimen fridge!" Maddie yelled as Jack ran up the stairs and past the two siblings.

"But Maddie, it's a great place to put the chili-dogs in and I need a pick me up since the portal isn't working!" Jack yelled back as he ran out of the kitchen and Maddie came up the stairs.

"Did he go upstairs or outside?" Maddie asked when she got to the kitchen, holding a big gun that said 'Jack-Smacker' on it.

"He went outside," Jazz answered.

"Thank you, sweetie," Maddie said before she ran after Jack.

"Dad really ticked off Mom this time," Jazz said with a small chuckle before she lifted her notepad again. "Anyways, question two. What do you think of-"

Before Jazz could finish her question, they heard a blood curdling scream come from downstairs as the lights in the kitchen flickered.

Almost as quickly as it started, it stopped. Darin and Jazz looked at each other for a few seconds.

"What… was that?" Jazz asked in concern.

"I don't know, but it sounded like it came from the basement," Darin said before he opened the door and started racing down the stairs.

Darin got to the lab and looked around before he turned to see the Fenton Portal was activated. A bright green swirl was present in the once empty portal. But what got Darin's attention was his twin brother lying unconscious on the floor. Tucker and Sam were hovering over him in worry.

"What happened?" Darin asked as he ran over to his unconscious brother.

"A wire came loose in the portal and sent out a zap of electricity at Danny," Tucker responded worried. "But he's still breathing and has a pulse."

"We need to get him to the hospital!" Darin yelled.

"N-now, let's not be hasty," Sam quickly said. "I'm sure Danny will be okay, we just have to uh… get him to his room. Help me lift him up."

"Are you sure we don't need to call Mom and Dad and take Danny to the hospital?" Darin asked in concern as he helped Sam pick Danny up.

"He'll be fine, Darin, it was a shock at most, only enough to knock him back," Sam responded adamantly. "He just needs to get some rest and he'll be fine afterwards."

"Alright, Tucker, you go make sure that Mom and Dad know that Danny felt tired and we took him up to our room," Darin instructed as he and Sam carried Danny to the kitchen.

"Right on it, dude," Tucker said with a salute.

"Hey, what happened?" Jazz asked as we were passing her by.

"Danny passed out and Tucker screamed like a little girl," Darin quickly responded, carrying Danny past Jazz without stopping. "I'll tell you more later."

Thankfully Darin and Sam managed to get Danny in his room without incident. Sam and Tucker later returned home after giving the excuse to Jack and Maddie. It wasn't until later that night that Danny woke up.

Darin saw Danny waking up from his bed and said, "Oh thank goodness you're okay, Danny. You had me scared, Tucker and Sam said they saw you getting shocked by a loose wire in the Fenton Portal or something."

"Right… I think that's what happened…" Danny said, rubbing his head a little. "It's all a bit fuzzy."

"But when I came in, I saw the Fenton Portal was on," Darin said. "Are you sure that's all that happened? Tucker and Sam wouldn't tell me any more."

"Well I-" Danny's body suddenly became see-thru and he began sinking from his bed with a yelp. "AH!"

"Danny! Are you okay!?" Darin yelled as he jumped up and ran over to Danny's bed to try and help him.

Darin's hands went through Danny's, almost as if he couldn't touch him. Darin felt a cold slip from his hands when he tried to grab Danny.

"What the heck?" Darin said in confusion before Danny sunk under the bed.

"I don't know, bro! Help me!" Danny yelled before he slipped through the floor.

Darin ran downstairs knowing that their bedroom was right above the kitchen. Darin arrived in time to see Danny's body was solid again, and lying on top of the table. Danny was looking at his arms in shock.

"Danny! You… just phased through the bed and floor," Darin pointed out as he approached his shocked brother.

"I know! I was there, bro!" Danny yelled as he looked around. "It looks like I'm back to normal now though. Maybe it was one of Mom or Dad's experiments gone wrong?"

Then Danny's right arm became invisible, causing Danny to yelp.

"Where's my arm!?" Danny worriedly yelled as he reached out and grabbed his invisible arm. "It's still there…?"

Darin was staring in fascination. "... Bro… that's cool, what else can you do?"

Danny looked up at Darin in surprise before he asked, "Wait, why aren't you freaking out?"

"If this is what I think it is…" Darin said as he touched Danny's invisible arm. "Then you might have superpowers now."

"What? But-" Danny began to say before a sudden burst of light appeared on his torso, startling both Danny and Darin. "W-WHAT'S HAPPENING TO ME!?"

The light was in the form of a ring, and the ring split in two and began going over Danny's body horizontally, turning his white shirt and blue pants into the black and white hazmat suit. When the rings passed Danny's head, his blue eyes were now a neon green, and his black hair was as white as snow.

"Bro… you look so cool," Darin remarked as he stared at Danny. "You look like a badass superhero!"

Danny looked down at his gloved hands, "I… I do? But what happened to me?"

"From the looks of it…" Darin began as he studied Danny's new form. "You might've gained ghost powers. Phasing through the floor, and turning invisible… yeah, you're a ghost."

"A ghost?" Danny said, surprised. "You mean I'm dead?"

"No, no," Darin shook his head. "You had a pulse and everything, so maybe you're… a boy with ghost powers?"

"A boy with ghost powers?" Danny repeated, looking unsure.

"Hey, you got this really awesome ghost form," Darin said with a smile. "You're already floating, so you could fly. So that makes you a superhero now."

Danny looked up at Darin and said, "I don't know…"

"Come on, bro, this is the coolest thing that's ever happened to you!" Darin said encouragingly. "You've got ghost powers, and I'll be with you to help you out. Just think, you'll be able to do a lot of awesome stuff as a boy with ghost powers."

Danny gave a smile at Darin and said, "I guess that does sound cool. You can help me with Mom, Dad and Jazz too."

"Of course-"

Andy's POV

I clicked on the back button, getting out of the story. I've seen enough.

"Wow, that felt very very rushed," Juliette stated.

"Not only that, but it also felt insulting," I said with a frown. "The brother didn't even try to convince Sam to tell their parents and get Danny to the hospital. Why would Jazz only ask one twin that question? And Danny and I rarely ever spoke like that. And Tucker and Sam seemed to already know what's going on here, enough so that they didn't want Darin to call their parents. In real life, Tucker and Sam were just as scared and confused as we were during the accident. And why were Mom and Dad acting all weird? They should've been devastated, or at least sad that the Fenton Portal 'didn't work', not chasing each other like the Looney Tunes. And why… oh Clockwork why is Darin so freaking calm and happy about finding out his brother is a ghost? And how did he find out so quick? It took me months to find out about Danny's secret myself!"

I felt my eyes burning as I raged on about everything wrong with what I've read. I was sure they were glowing purple right now.

"I can't explain the first part, but I will say that the part of Jazz not asking Danny, perhaps she asked in the next chapter or something?" Juliette guessed. "As for the rest, this seems like the work of a lazy writer or something."

"At first I thought Darin was being brave when he saw Danny was phasing through the floor and having his arm turn invisible, but the fact he just called Danny's ghost form 'cool' just crossed the line. No actual human being would see that as cool, they'd see that as 'my brother's a ghost? He's dead, isn't he!?'" I shouted in almost hysteria.

"Andy!" Juliette spoke up, grabbing my shoulders softly. "Calm down. I understand that this story brought back some painful memories for you, but you have to remember that it's over with now. And what you just read is nothing more than someone's imagination and… a bad interpretation of what a twin would do."

I sighed as I calmed down, "You're right, Juliette… I shouldn't get too worked up over something as silly as fanfiction."

"How about we look at a different story?" Juliette suggested. "Perhaps hit that button up top that says 'Filter Crossovers'."

"Crossovers?" I asked as I clicked on the filter. "People already made crossovers for Danny Phantom?"

A huge list of stories started appearing.

"Looks like a lot of people," Juliette said with a smile as the numbers of results continued to rise before it stopped in the thousands. "A lot."

I sighed when I saw all the results, "Maybe we should just pick one story from here. It would take too long to go through all this and non-crossover stories."

"Hmmm, I have an idea, how about you close your eyes and scroll down the list and I'll tell you to stop?" Juliette suggested.

"Okay," I said before I closed my eyes and used my mouse wheel to have the list start scrolling down.

"Stop!" Juliette suddenly said.

I stopped scrolling down and opened my eyes, "What?"

I saw Juliette was pointing at the screen, her furry finger pointing at a story called 'Ghosts on the Beach'.

I looked at the summary, "So it's a crossover between Danny Phantom and another fandom called Steven Universe. Oh cool, Steven Universe is a really good cartoon show. Nice pick, Juliette. Maybe it'll be even better than the last two stories we were reading."

"What does the summary say?" Juliette asked.

I began reading the summary to her, "It says… 'One day, Steven finds an unconscious boy with white hair on the beach. After the white haired boy showed up, ghosts started appearing all over Beach City. Where are they coming from and what do they want with Beach City? Who is the boy Steven found? And how can these ghosts be stopped?' Huh, it actually sounds promising."

"Then why not open it up and start reading," Juliette responded with a smile.

I nodded before I clicked on the story, hoping it's actually a good one.

Ghosts on the Beach

I can't let them catch me! I need to get home! A fast figure thought to themselves in desperation as they ran from those who were hunting them down. The figure glanced back, noticing that one of the three that were following them had disappeared. Oh no… where's the big one with the rectangular head? All I see are the defective Amethyst and the ownerless Pearl… where is the perma-fusion that Peridot had spoken of in her report?

The figure didn't stop running, she knew she had to get away.

Only another few minutes and I can get away from them The figure thought, feeling their energy slowly charging up within them. I can return home and report back to my Diamond, Blue Diamond.

The figure then stopped and gasped when she saw a big shadow ahead of her.

"Leave me alone!" The figure yelled before they turned and started to run up a hill where the trees thinned out. As the trees thinned out, the full moon became visible and shone down, illuminating the figure in moonlight, revealing their light blue color.

"I'm sorry, but we cannot have you report to Homeworld about us, Apatite," The larger figure said as they effortlessly followed the blue figure named Apatite.

"R-report? What are you talking about? I just wanted to see if the rumors about Earth were true, if it was a planet really worth fighting to protect," Apatite nervously responded. I really hope that they buy this excuse… otherwise I'm as good as poofed… I still have to wait at least another minute before I'm ready.

"Yeah right," Another voice said that was coming from behind Apatite. "As if we'd believe that bunch of baloney."

"If you really are speaking the truth in regards to seeing if Earth is a planet worth protecting then you can stop running. We won't poof you if you truly wish to defend Earth," A third voice said.

"Do you really buy what she's saying, Pearl?" The second voice asked.

"Well we should at least give her the benefit of the doubt, Amethyst," The third voice, called Pearl, answered. "What do you think, Garnet?"

"She's lying to us in order to stall," The first voice, which belonged to Garnet, responded.

"I told ya, Pearl," Amethyst said as she held her hand up to her chest before she drew out a long whip. "Let's just poof her already so we can go home."

"That's what we've been trying to do for the past half hour but she seems to slip our grasp every time," Pearl commented.

Yes, just keep bickering for another 30 seconds. Apatite thought to herself, the energy within her nearly at capacity.

"Then just give her a well aimed spear to the stomach and poof her already!" Amethyst grumbled to Pearl.

"You two need to focus on the mission at hand otherwise we will lose our target," Garnet said calmly as all four of them entered a large clearing that ended with a sharp cliff. "There's nowhere else to go, Apatite, surrender."

"Or put up a fight and make this fun for us," Amethyst said with a smirk.

"I'd rather this not take any longer, Amethyst, our little Steven is probably waiting at home for us," Pearl said as she reached up to her forehead before she pulled out a long spear.

I need to do it now! Apatite thought in alarm as she quickly focused on her power. Come on, I'm out of time. I just need the nearest gem outpost then I can take the warp system back to Homeworld!

Garnet stopped for a second before she gritted her teeth. "Get her now before she disappears!"

Amethyst and Pearl swung their weapons at the same time. The whip and the spear would've hit Apatite before she could've finished what she was doing, if the whip hadn't wrapped around the spear and caused it to barely miss Apatite's body.

"See you~" Apatite said with a smirk before she disappeared in a flash, half a second later, a crater appeared where she was standing. At the bottom of the crater was Garnet with two large gauntlets.

"What the? What just happened?" Pearl asked, surprised.

Garnet sighed as she stood up and said, "Apatite got away."

"How?!" Amethyst asked with a groan.

"Teleportation," Garnet responded with a sigh. "I should've remembered that Apatite have teleportation just like Sapphires have visions. We should get back to Steven, he's currently waiting for us to watch a new television series he found."

"Steven, would you please help pick up your clothes?" Pearl asked as she picked up another one of Steven's red shirts with the gold star in the middle.

"Aww come on, Pearl, just let me finish this episode. It's just got five more minutes," The boy named Steven said.

"I'm sorry, Steven, but you need to do your chores now, I asked for your help before and you said 'five more minutes' and ended up starting the next episode," Pearl responded.

"Alright, alright, how about I promise I'll pick up my clothes when this is done? No going to new episodes until I finish my chores, cross my heart," Steven said as he did an x mark on his chest.

Pearl looked at Steven for a few seconds before she sighed, "Alright, Steven, you can finish that one episode."

"Hooray! Thank you, Pearl!" Steven cheered before he turned his attention back to the TV screen.

The episode had reached its climax when suddenly the TV screen flickered to a young woman standing in front of a map of Beach City, talking on a microphone.

"H-hey! Who changed the channel?" Steven frowned in surprise.

"Attention citizens of Beach City, this is a breaking bulletin," The young woman said. "There have been reports of strange sightings all over Beach City of what some are claiming to be ghosts. These sightings are then followed by different paranormal events such as rattling door knobs, glassware and plates mysteriously falling off shelves or out of cabinets, and strange behavior in friends, family, and pets. We ask that all citizens stay indoors and if you see anything strange, call 911 immediately."

Steven was staring at the TV screen, not sure what to make of that. "Ghosts?"

"Oh please," Pearl said as she had seen the news herself. "There's no such thing as the paranormal, it's probably just another gem causing havoc again."

As soon as Pearl finished saying that the front door of the house suddenly opened.

"I hope you're not too busy, Pearl, cause we could use an extra hand," Amethyst said as she ran through the door, her whip in her hand. "There's some kind of freaky illusions popping up all over town, Garnet is busy trying to find the gem creating the illusions, but she's had no luck so far."

"Alright, I'm on my way," Pearl said as she stood up before looking down at Steven. "Make sure you do your chores this time, Steven, if your chores aren't done by the time I get back, you… won't be able to use your TV tomorrow at all."

"Aww, alright," Steven sighed.

After Pearl left, Steven picked up the list of chores she left for him. "Okay let's see… do the laundry, wash the dishes, take out the trash, and check the mail. Shouldn't be too hard."

Steven washed his hands and gave a sigh of relief, "Good, the trash is taken care of. Now all that's left is getting the mail. I wonder if Barb or Jamie brought the mail today?"

Steven smiled to himself as he walked out of the house, he always loved his walks on the beach, it was calming and soothing even during troubled times. However, as Steven was walking on the beach, he spotted something unusual lying near the ocean. It was black and white, and it was glowing.

"That's… unusual," Steven said as he slowed and looked towards the shape. "No, I should check the mail and leave the unusual stuff to the Gems."

Steven started to walk towards the mailbox before he stopped and took a few steps back. "Though technically I'm one of the Gems, so I could check it out."

Steven smiled before he turned and started to head towards the black and white shape.

Upon closer inspection, Steven could see the black and white glowing object was actually a person. Or a really human-like gem. Steven added to himself.

The person looked to be a boy, about the age of 14 or 15 from the looks of him. The boy had white hair, and he wore some kind of black and white suit.

"Hello?" Steven asked out loud as he slowly approached the boy, he raised his arm a little in case he needed to quickly summon his shield.

The boy didn't respond. Steven could see the boy's eyes were closed and he wasn't moving.

Steven looked around and noted that it was currently low tide.

"I should take him home and make sure he's alive," Steven said to himself out loud as he got closer to the boy. "I could put him in a large bubble to be safe if need be… but it would be easier to carry him."

Steven nodded to himself and picked up the unconscious boy, and shivered when he realized how cold the boy was. It was far too cold to be human. Steven hurried back to his house, completely forgetting about the mail.

When Steven was inside, he took the unconscious cold boy to his bed and carefully laid him down.

"There, now all I have to do is wait!" Steven said with a smile.

After three minutes went by, Steven began pacing back and forth.

"Come on… wake up already…" Steven said, slowly but surely losing his patience.

After another minute went by, Steven went over to the bed and frowned, "If only there was some way to get you to wake up faster! Maybe I could splash you with water?"

Steven walked into the kitchen and took a large cup out from the cabinets before he began filling it up with cold water. Steven couldn't help but get a mischievous smile as he walked over to the unconscious boy while holding a cup full of cold water.

"Let's hope this works!" Steven said before he poured the contents of the cup onto the unconscious boy's head.

As soon as Steven poured the cold water on the boy's head, the boy shot open his eyes and bolted up, knocking into Steven's head. Steven yelp in surprise and pain as he dropped the cup and stumbled back, rubbing his forehead. The other boy rubbed his forehead too.

"Ow ow ow ow…" Steven groaned before he brought down a hand, licked it, and brought it up to his forehead. A few seconds later, the pain in Steven's head began to go away.

The other boy was looking at Steven, seeming to have gotten over his own head trauma pretty quickly. "What? Where am I? Who are you?"

"I'm Steven Universe, and this is my house!" Steven answered. "I found you unconscious on the beach and took you back here."

The boy stared at Steven, and it was then Steven noticed that the boy's eyes were a glowing neon green, definitely not something a normal human would have either.

"Um… so what about you? What's your name?" Steven asked, feeling a little awkward that the boy kept staring at him.

The boy blinked before he said, "Oh right, my name is uh…" The boy looked down at himself, as if just noticing what he was wearing. "Danny Phantom, but you can just call me Phantom."

"Danny Phantom?" Steven asked, surprised.

"Yeah… is there a problem?" Phantom asked.

"Did you give yourself that name?" Steven asked with a raised brow. "I've never heard of a gem called 'Phantom' before."

"Uh… a gem?" Phantom blinked. "Is that what you call ghosts around here?"

"What?" Steven asked, looking just as confused.

"Never mind," Phantom said with a frown. "I'm just worried. I don't know how I got here, well not in here, but where you found me. The last thing I remember was flying through the Ghost Zone and I saw Wulf being chased by Walker's goons again, and he clawed through the rift and the next thing I knew… I was waking up here."

"Ghost Zone? Wulf? Walker? Are you feeling okay?" Steven asked. "I did find you washed up on the beach, so perhaps you suffered some injuries before you washed up?"

"Maybe, I might've been in a fight before I fell unconscious," Phantom said with a sigh.

Steven looked at the letter D on Phantom's chest, "Hey, is that your gem?"

"What?" Phantom looked at Steven. "You keep saying 'gem'. Do you think I sell gems or something?"

"Do you really not know about gems?" Steven asked in shock.

"Uh… I know they're precious stones," Phantom said with a shrug. "Why does it matter? Are you some kind of gem enthusiast?"

Steven gave a confused look, "Hang on, if you're not a gem than what are you? I mean, no offense, but you don't seem to be human, at least not entirely."

Phantom sighed before he said, "Well I'm not, I'm a ghost."

"What?" Steven frowned. "Prove it."

"Alright," Phantom said before he turned himself invisible, causing Steven to jump since he hadn't been expecting Phantom to actually do that.

A few seconds later, Phantom reappeared again, but he was behind Steven. Steven jumped at the sudden reappearance of Phantom. Phantom gave a small smile before he put his hand on the wall, and made his hands clear before they phase through the wall with ease.

"Need anymore proof?" Phantom asked after he took his hands out of the wall.

"Yes," Steven responded. "I've fought a gem that could turn themselves invisible, and gems can alter their body to appear like they go through walls or floors."

"Well clearly I'm not a gem, because I don't know what those are," Phantom pointed out. "But what else do you want to see to prove I am what I say I am?"

"Hmmm… what's something that ghosts are known to be able to do that gems can't…?" Steven asked out loud.

"Uh… do any gems fly?" Phantom asked.

"Yes, Lapis can fly," Steven answered.

"Can they… take over a person's body?" Phantom asked.

"Ummm, no… no… gems can't do that… but they can transform to look like someone else," Steven responded, his eyes shifted around quickly.

Phantom nodded before he said, "Well, I can easily do that if you'll allow me."

"Really?" Steven asked, his eyes sparkling a little.

"Sure, just watch. It'll only be for a minute," Phantom said before he turned his body transparent before he flew into Steven's body.

Steven waited a few seconds, before he saw his gem glowing through his shirt before it sent a strange energy through his body. Steven could hear Phantom yelping before he flew out of Steven's body and landed on the floor, looking disoriented.

"Are you okay?" Steven asked in concern as he rushed over to Phantom.

"What was-" Phantom began to say, but was interrupted when a ring of light suddenly burst on his torso.

Phantom gasped in horror as he quickly stood back up and started running away from Steven.

Phantom ran for the screen door, but before he could reach it, it opened on its own. Garnet, Pearl and Amethyst stood at the door, looking at Phantom in shock.

"What the?" Amethyst asked as the ring on Phantom's light began to split horizontally, changing the ghost boy.

"No!" Phantom screamed.

Andy's POV

I stopped reading at the end of the chapter. I was on the edge of my seat.

"That seemed to end a bit abruptly," Juliette commented.

"Yeah, it was only the first chapter," I pointed out. "I'm sure there's more-"

I stopped when I saw there was no next chapter button. I frowned as I clicked on the chapter bar, and saw there was only one chapter. "No… you've got to be kidding me… there's only one chapter!?"

"How long ago was the story posted?" Juliette asked. "Perhaps it's a brand new story and that's why there is only one chapter?"

I scrolled up to where the date that the story was posted was. I frowned even more.

"... It was posted two years ago," I said in a deadpanned tone. "Two years! They could've finished this story and its sequel by now!"

"Oh dear…" Juliette said with a frown. "That's a shame, it looked like it could've been a magnificent story."

"I finally find one fanfiction story that has Danny in it that didn't suck and it only had one chapter, how awesome," I grumbled bitterly. "Now I'll never know how Steven and the Crystal Gems will react to Danny changing back!"

"Perhaps you could take the first chapter and write a story of your own?" Juliette suggested.

"No way," I said with a pout. "That isn't my story, I'm not going to write the story for them."

"Then why not message the writer and see if they'll either continue or give you the rights to the story," Juliette responded.

I clicked on the reviews for the story and saw several people praising the one chapter, and many were begging the author to continue. Some even mentioned they sent several messages that the author would continue.

"... Somehow I don't think that would help, Juliette," I sighed.

"If they gave up the story, then its fine if you write it," Juliette said. "You could call it a fanfic of a fanfic."

I shook my head, "Let's just forget about it. I barely usually have time to read fanfiction, let alone write one. Let's go back to the solo stories for now, maybe I can find a good one that has more than one chapter."

"I wonder if we'd be able to find them on a different website?" Juliette asked. "Perhaps they just stopped posting on this website."

"It doesn't matter Juliette," I waved it off. "I'm already looking for a new story."

"How about you try looking for a story without OCs?" Juliette asked.

"Oh yeah, there's a character filter I can use," I said as I moved my cursor to the filters. I clicked on a filter to show me stories with Danny as the main protagonist.

"You… are looking for stories with Danny? Wouldn't that technically be every story?" Juliette asked with a raised brow.

I shook my head, "It's actually meant to show Danny as the main protagonist, instead of him being a side character to an OC, or someone else is the protagonist instead. You'd be surprised how many fanfiction stories don't use the actual protagonist as the protagonist in their stories."

"Okay, then who should you choose for the secondary character?" Juliette asked in response.

"Hmmm…" I clicked on the secondary character filter and looked at the list. "Maybe Valerie. Maybe someone's story could give me a clue on how to deal with Valerie and my ghost identity."

"That sounds like a good idea," Juliette said with a smile.

After I clicked on Valerie, the list changed. I began to scroll down, looking through them. Many of them were short or oneshots, but there was one oneshot that caught my attention.

"Are you sure you want to click on that story…?" Juliette hesitantly asked. I looked up at her and saw a small blush on her face.

"Why?" I asked, curious about what Juliette was thinking.

"Oh… nothing…" Juliette responded shyly.

I raised an eyebrow at her before I looked at the story's title and summary. The Truth Hurts. "Danny Phantom goes on a harmless patrol one night, only to run into the Red Huntress again. Would this be their final encounter?" And I noticed there were two words at the end that said "Reveal fic".

"It looks like Danny will reveal himself to Valerie in this story," I said with a smile. "So maybe this will give me a good idea to how Valerie would react if I came clean with her."

"Yeah… sure… he'll definitely be revealing something…" Juliette quietly said before she grabbed a pillow off my bed and shoved her face into it.

"What are you doing?" I asked, starting to feel concerned about her behavior.

"Nothing… just ignore me…" Juliette responded after pulling the pillow away from her face. "Just… read the story for now."

"Right…" I said, still looking at her for another few seconds before turning my attention back at the monitor. "Well, let's start the story."

I clicked on The Truth Hurts and the story popped up.

The Truth Hurts

The bell rang from Casper High, students ran out, happy to finally be done with school for the day. Danny, Tucker and Sam were walking out together as usual before they heard Valerie's voice calling out.

"Hey! Danny wait up!"

Danny stopped and turned, seeing Valerie waving to them. Danny smiled before he said, "Tucker, Sam, you guys go on ahead."

"Are you sure?" Tucker asked.

"Yeah, I'll catch up with you guys in a little bit," Danny responded with a smile.

"Fine, but we're only giving you an hour," Sam grumbled.

"It won't take that long, guys, I promise," Danny chuckled before Sam and Tucker shrugged and left.

Valerie approached Danny and said, "Hey Danny, I just wanted to know how you've been. I mean it's been weeks since we've had a real conversation. I mean I know I had to break up with you before, but you know how it is…"

"Hey, I don't hold that against you, Valerie, we were both busy with family stuff and didn't have time to devote to a relationship," Danny responded.

Valerie gave a small smile. Danny is so sweet and understanding. If only I didn't have to keep my ghost hunting life a secret from him… "Hey Danny… have you ever thought of… maybe… learning how to hunt ghosts?"

"Heh, my parents ask me the same question every week," Danny chuckled. "Oh and as for how I'm doing, busy but good. Thankfully life hasn't been too hectic lately, just the normal amount of Amity Park crazy."

Valerie nodded before she said, "Maybe we should make some more time to hang out again. I know I've said my life is too complicated for a relationship right now, but that shouldn't stop us from being friends, right?"

"That would be nice," Danny agreed. "My family has been a little distracted with a project of their own lately, so I've had a small bit of extra time when not doing my homework and making sure they don't somehow blow up the town with one of my parent's inventions."

Valerie chuckled at that, she knew how crazy the Fentons could be. "Then perhaps we should hang out a little bit more, starting tomorrow?"

"Yeah, that sounds fun, maybe we could go to the movie or Nasty Burger or something," Danny suggested.

"Sounds great, I'll see you tomorrow then, Danny," Valerie said as she waved at him before she walked away.

"See ya then!" Danny waved back as Valerie walked away.

Later that night, Valerie put on her ghost hunting gear and hopped up onto her hoverboard. She was the Red Huntress, one who hunted ghosts in order to keep the city safe. Ever since a little while back, ghosts started showing up in town and Phantom was the strongest and slipperiest of them all.

Valerie was patrolling the city on her hoverboard, it appeared to be a quiet night. It had been quiet for a few nights, the only ghosts that showed up were the super weak ones that Valerie didn't have to put much effort into. Valerie wasn't sure what to make of the sudden lack of strong ghosts. The only strong ghost she had seen lately was Phantom himself, and he usually disappeared from her radar before she could catch him.

After Valerie patrolled the city for a good three hours, she decided to head for the park, which was at the center of Amity Park. She began landing before she heard a familiar echo voice not too far away.

"Alright! I gotcha!" The voice said cheerfully. "Finally, I can stop hunting down that annoying Box Ghost tonight. Hey Box Ghost, if you can hear me in there, you should stop coming back here, it always ends up the same way, you try to terrify people, we bicker for a bit, you throw some boxes at me, then I defeat you and trap you and send you back to the Ghost Zone."

Valerie turned around to see that Phantom kid himself was floating by a tree, holding onto the Fenton Thermos that he, no doubt, stole from the Fentons.

"You!" Valerie hissed out. "I've been waiting for a chance to find you again, ghost kid!"

"Uh oh, gotta go," Danny said when he saw Valerie he slowly started to float away from her, watching to see what she would do.

"Do you think I'm going to let you get away again so easily?" Valerie growled before she took out what appeared to be a blue glowing cube from her pocket, then she tossed it to the ground. "I got a few new equipment from my supplier just to deal with you."

Before Danny could ask, the blue cube hit the ground and exploded into a large blue dome that covered the entire park. Danny frowned in confusion.

This doesn't look good. Danny thought to himself when he looked at the dome. That looks similar to the energy of the cube that I was trapped in by Skulker and Vlad.

"You won't be escaping me tonight, ghost kid," Valerie said with a smirk. "I'll finally be able to rid Amity Park of you once and for all."

"Listen, Red Huntress, that is your name right? I am not the threat to Amity Park that you think I am," Danny said, hoping that Valerie might listen to reason. "In fact, I've stopped numerous threats that could have destroyed all of Amity Park and in one case, saved the world from being hacked."

"I'm done listening to you, ghost. As if I would believe for a second you actually helped anyone!" Valerie snapped as she summoned her bazooka and began firing red ecto lasers at Danny.

Danny dodged the shots that were coming towards him. "When have I ever done anything to harm Amity Park, actually harm it? When have I ever hurt anyone like all the other ghosts that come here try to do?! When have I ever done anything like the rest of the ghosts!? Sure, there was that one accident at Axion Labs, but that wasn't actually my fault, not that you care, but I was as much a victim as anyone else!"

"Did you forget about the time you kidnapped the mayor? Or when you stole from the museum and bank and even blasted at the cops? Someone could've died that night!" Valerie snapped before she began shooting hundreds of needles at Danny.

Oh crud. Danny quickly thought before he hastily flew behind a tree, hoping it would block the needles.

Unfortunately for Danny, one of the needles managed to graze through his right arm, ripping his suit and leaving a nasty cut.

"Gah!" Danny yelled out loud at the stinging slice that the needle caused. Crud… I need to think fast… maybe I could go intangible and fly underground… maybe the dome doesn't extend underground or is weaker.

However, before Danny could go underground, Valerie blasted the poor tree with her bazooka, and started firing at Danny. Danny yelped as he flew away fast, trying not to get hit. One of the ecto lasers managed to hit Danny from behind, causing the ghost boy to fall to the ground in pain.

I have to disable her weapons… Danny hissed in pain as he got back up. She's not gonna listen…

Danny's cut on his arm hadn't healed, and is dripping ectoplasm. But what confused Valerie was the red that was mixed with the green.

"What is that?" Valerie demanded. "What is that stuff coming out of your arm?"

Danny looked down to his arm and his eyes went wide. "Is… is that my…?"

Danny, in a state of disbelief, reached down and touched the liquid. Even through the gloves of his suit, he could feel how the liquid felt both warm and freezing cold at the same time. I'm bleeding? How? And why is it green and red?

Valerie noticed that Danny was distracted, she decided to use this time to aim her ghost missiles at him. As soon as she fired, Danny looked up and gasped as he didn't have enough time to react before the missiles hit him and exploded. Danny's body flew back and hit the dome, which electrocuted him before he fell back to the ground in pain.

Something's… something's wrong… Danny thought to himself as he began coughing. I've been hit hard before… but… I feel so dizzy… and sick...

Danny started coughing harder and brought his hand up to his mouth out of instinct. After the coughing subsided a little, he pulled his hand away and saw more red and green on his hand.

"You're… killing me…?" Danny asked out loud as the pain and the bleeding liquid started to make sense.

"That's right, ghost kid," Valerie spat. "My supplier gave me a special poison that eats away the ghost's ectoplasm and eventually destroys its core, destroying it for good. Your days in Amity Park are numbered."

Danny started coughing more and fell forward to the ground, landing on his hands and knees.

Valiere got close to the coughing ghost boy, before she allowed her hoverboard to folded away into her shoes and landed in front of him.

"Perhaps I should just let the poison run its course, there's no need to waste my weapons on you anymore," Valerie said as she watched Danny suffer.

Danny's coughing got worse as he started coughing up more blood and ectoplasm on the ground below him. Danny tried to go intangible to see if he could go under the dome, but he couldn't access his powers, he was too weak. Danny's core was destabilizing.

"Please… is… is there a cure…?" Danny asked weakly.

"No, why would there be a cure? Nobody wants to help a ghost," Valerie said harshly.

"Please Valerie!" Danny desperately begged.

For a moment, Valerie frowned, she thought she heard Danny's voice in Phantom when he begged. No, it's a trick. Phantom is just a ghost, I won't be manipulated.

Danny weakly lifted his head to look at Valerie, instead of his normal glowing green eyes, Valerie saw Danny's blue eyes. "Please… Valerie… I don't want to die…"

"You're a ghost, you're already-" Valerie stopped when a ring of light suddenly appeared on Phantom's torso, and split horizontally, revealing Danny Fenton in his stead, and the boy was coughing up more blood. Valerie's eyes widened in shock and horror. "W-what the!?"

"Va-" Danny choked out, falling onto his side. "I'm… s-sorry…"

"D-Danny!? But how? You were Phantom! This has to be a trick, you can't be Danny!" Valerie shouted. "If you really are Danny, then say something that only he might know, something that I've only ever told him!"

Danny's breathing was getting slower, but he gave a soft smile and said, "You work at the Nasty Burger… you were the mascot before you were… promoted to cashier. I wore your mascot to give you a day off…"

Valerie's eyes went wide before she ran over to Danny and put her hand on her head, pushing back his hair. "Danny! I… I'm so sorry, I didn't… how did you…?"

"Heh… lab… accident…" Danny answered slowly before he began coughing up more blood. "Please… tell me… you have an… antidote…"

Valerie's eyes began to water with ears before she shook her head in despair, "I… I didn't bring an antidote… I didn't think I would need it… the poison wouldn't hurt humans…"

"If they were… just humans…" Danny coughed before weakly smiling. "I… don't think I'll have… the time for you to… get any… I'd rather you… stay here with me… instead… If I die… I wanna die near a friend…"

Valerie shook her head as she held onto Danny, "No! Danny don't die! Please, I'm so sorry! You can't let the poison kill you! I still… I still love you Danny…"

"I can't fight it, Val… it's not a ghost…" Danny responded. "I also… still love you, Val… I haven't stopped loving you…"

"Don't go Danny… please…" Valerie's voice cracked.

"Tell my parents… and friends… I love them… I'm sorry that… we won't get… to hang out… tomorrow..." Danny weakly said before he looked up at Valerie with opaque eyes. "And… please don't blame yourself… for this… blame the person… who gave you the poison to kill me… and… remember me… as someone who truly wanted to keep… Amity… Park… safe… I… love you… Valerie…"

With those final words say, Danny closed his eyes and his body went limp in Valerie's arms.

"No! Danny!" Valerie cried out. "NOOOOOOO!"

Valerie's eyes opened and she saw a beautiful glow of blue, green, silver and gold coming out of Danny's body. She watched in awe as the beautiful colors of Danny's soul flew up into the sky, joining the stars.

Third Person POV

"... that…" Juliette said with a small sniffle as her eyes teared up. "Andy, what did you-"

Juliette turned and saw Andy was just staring at the screen with a blank expression.

Andy stared at the monitor, his eyes wide open, his lips pressed to a thin line, he didn't move.

"Andy…?" Juliette asked in concern. "Are you going to be okay?"

Juliette waved her furry hand in front of the frozen Andy. Andy still didn't move, his eyes didn't respond.

Juliette frowned, but before she could try anything else, someone opened the door.

"Hey, Andy, Mom asked me to come get you for… dinner…" Danny said, slowing down at the end when he saw Andy just staring at his computer. "Hey, Juliette, what happened to my brother?"

"He was reading a story… where you and Valerie loved each other… but… Valerie kind of sort of ended up killing you…" Juliette explained, somewhat hesitantly.

Danny frowned, confused before he looked at the computer screen himself, reading the last few words of the story. "What the heck? And what was that ending? 'The colors joined the stars?' How cheesy can you get?"

"Maybe it was actually Clockwork freezing you and bring you to him in order to try and save your life?" Juliette said, trying to offer an explanation.

"Why does this story even exist?" Danny asked. "Who wrote it?"

"It's something called fanfiction, Danny, apparently you are famous and a ton of people know about your true identity," Juliette responded.

Danny's eyes widened in shock before he said, "H-how? … Wait, nevermind that now, I need to snap Andy out of it."

Danny waved a hand in front of his frozen brother, "Hello? Bro, snap out of it!"

"I already tried that," Juliette said. "We might have to do something a little more drastic… perhaps pour water on his head?"

"Maybe…" Danny walked out of the room for a few minutes, before coming back with a cup of cold water.

Juliette almost laughed at how similar this was to when Steven did the same to Danny in that crossover story.

"Andy, you may want to snap out of it before Danny pours water on your head," Juliette said, giving Andy one last chance to snap out of it on his own.

Danny walked over to Andy and started counting down from 5. "5, 4, 3, 2, 1,"

Danny smiled as he carefully poured the water on Andy's head, making sure none of it splashed onto Andy's desk or computer.

However, instead of snapping Andy out of it, Andy fell over to the floor with a THUD.

"Oh dear… perhaps he blacked out…" Juliette frowned.

"This is worse than I thought…" Danny said in concern before he picked Andy up and walked over to his bed and gently put his brother down. "What is that fanfiction anyways? I'm going to take a look at it myself."

"The one we were reading was called 'The Truth Hurts' and we found it on a website called ," Juliette responded.

"Hmmm…" Danny looked over at Andy on his bed before he said, "Hey Juliette, you can make yourself look human, right?"

"Yes, I was disguising myself as human when we first met," Juliette responded. "May I ask why you are inquiring about this now?"

"Well Mom told me to get Andy for dinner, but… I don't think that's happening any time soon," Danny said sheepishly. "I'll stay here when Andy wakes up, he may need me after what he read. Why don't you go join my family for dinner? Tell them Andy and I invited you."

"Are you sure that's the smartest thing?" Juliette asked with a raised brow.

"Yeah, you'll be fine, and you can meet my parents and sister," Danny responded. "Be careful though, my parents can get a bit… into their work and my sister is a self proclaimed psychologist. But if you could, bring some food up here for us, please."

"Of course," Juliette said with a smile before she closed her eyes and concentrated. Her body glowed lightly before she began to change color and shape. Turning from a humanoid goat ghost to a regular human girl. "How do I look? Not missing anything, am I? I have made a mistake or two a couple of times."

"Nah, you look great, totally human, and you're doing a great job at hiding your ghostly aura," Danny said with a smile.

"I guess I'll be back, I'll try not to get too sidetracked," Juliette said with a smile before she walked over to the door. "And if Andy wakes, please come down and let me know."

"Of course," Danny said with a nod before Juliette left the room.

Danny looked at Andy again before he turned to the computer and sat down, "Now I'm curious… what kind of fanfiction site is this?"

Danny moved the cursor and backed out of the story and saw multiple story links on the site. "... Whoa… I'm definitely bookmarking this site. Maybe when Andy wakes up, he can tell me more about this site and how these people seem to know everything about me..."

OMNISENSE95: Darkzdragon 'Onyx': Yes we are, but things might not turn out the exact same way as the episode.

DarkFoxKit: Yeah, there's going to be quite a few major changes. It's more fun to change what made the episode, but keep the baseline of it.

Vendicor: Darkzdragon 'Onyx': Well not every chapter can be action packed ones with lasers and explosions everywhere.

DarkFoxKit: There's going to be a few chapters that won't have action, but they're still nice.

ZAFTPrime: DarkFoxKit: Heh, I know how it feels to be lazy. Actually, we had to edit that scene. I went back and re-read the earlier chapters of WAP and realized that Andy had already told Danny and his friends a long time ago about his future visions. Well that was an embarrassing mistake on my part. ^^' I had to re-read My Brother's a Ghost too since it's been years since I wrote it and I had forgotten a lot of the details. I don't want to make another mistake like that again. Good luck with your story.

Jewel moonstone: Darkzdragon 'Onyx': I'd say anyone from Atlantis or El Dorado so they could tell me where their respective cities are located. I mean Atlantis, a city that existed on water, must have been pretty technologically advanced to exist in the first place. As for El Dorado, city of gold, can you really blame me for wanting to know where that is?

DarkFoxKit: I don't know, maybe a friendly dragon? I don't think a lot about mythology. I guess a unicorn or a pegasus would be good too.

Luna Lillyth: DarkFoxKit: Um, kind of. Though Andy's visions have changed to where he can see multiple branches of the future instead of just one like before. So it's more like how Garnet sees the future from Steven Universe. If you don't know Steven Universe or Garnet, you should look them up.

seruis: Darkzdragon 'Onyx': You'll just have to wait and see. Steven Universe is already back on some anime sites. They released 4 new episodes, hopefully there are more to come.

leslidannphantom: DarkFoxKit: Hey, good to hear from you again. Heh, we'll have to see if we have any costumes like that for Andy. And I hope you keep up the good drawings.

FireSoulKid: DarkFoxKit: Aww, you flatter me. I'm nowhere near Pearl's level, but it's flattering to think you find this story better. And heh, it tickles me to know you're shipping Andy and Valerie. X3

Mana: Darkzdragon 'Onyx': Let's just say that Clockwork has tried to recruit her numerous times since she appeared in the Ghost Zone but he was never able to promise her safety, so she declined the offer. He said that he could only offer a certain level of protection but couldn't guarantee her utmost safety which is what she has been looking for, safety from Skulker. Yeah, I miss the old great shows of my teenager days. Teen Titans, Courage the Cowardly Dog, Ben 10, those classics when Cartoon Network actually gave a crap about about the desires of the viewers and didn't think 'just pump out whatever'. Yeah, we felt there was a better realism to having Damon taking charge. He has more professional training than a teacher.

DarkFoxKit: And realistically speaking, it's never a good idea to just run around in panic when something happens, especially in Amity Park where ghost attacks or something unusual happening is part of the norm now.
