Darkzdragon 'Onyx': *Breathes out a small burst of flames, lighting the logs in the fireplace* There we go, now we'll be nice and toasty.

DarkFoxKit 'Hamsuke': My floofy fur already kept me nice and toasty. Also, want some Christmas cookies?

Darkzdragon 'Onyx': Yeah, but only after I get another cup of hot cocoa. If you'll remember, I was just outside for the past 2 hours shovelling snow off the paths while you sat inside nice and comfy.

DarkFoxKit 'Hamsuke': Why didn't you get one of the servants to do it? Besides… why is it snowing in a place that has no time?

Darkzdragon 'Onyx': The servants get the holiday off thanks to Dora's kindness, not that I'm complaining, they deserve a break. As for the snow, I blame an overzealous wizard who wanted a white Christmas. I say a wizard because the snow has a slight energy to it that usually relates to magic.

DarkFoxKit 'Hamsuke': On the plus side, since it's Christmas, Aragon isn't going to be so… bossy today. We get to play our games and write our stories in peace. Also, I would've helped you with shovelling the snow, but someone put me in a giant hamster cage. *Grumbles*

Darkzdragon 'Onyx': I left you on the couch, so I don't know why you were in a cage when I got back. And I am kinda grateful I was allowed to shovel the snow, it gave me a nice break from all the 'princess lessons' and all those 'wedding preparations'. Dora must've really worked Aragon over for him to allow me that much freedom. That or Aragon isn't a scrooge during Christmas.

DarkFoxKit 'Hamsuke': We can at least be thankful for that. Now, we really should get our Christmas present to the readers, they've been waiting patiently for a new chapter.

Darkzdragon 'Onyx': *Walks over to a table and fills up a mug with hot chocolate before plopping a big marshmallow on top* I hope the readers enjoy. It's really hard to update when you're in a medieval castle with makeshift internet… I'm honestly still a little surprised that I got that to work…

DarkFoxKit 'Hamsuke': *Munches on the cookies*

Darkzdragon 'Onyx': Hey! Don't eat all the cookies! *Looks at the readers* What are you still doing here? Go read the chapter already.

DarkFoxKit 'Hamsuke': Unless you all rather just look at my adorable face. (=^w^=)

Chapter 60: Being Fit

"So let me get this straight…" I said as I was pacing back and forth in my room, and Danny was sitting on his bed watching me. "You and Dash were running around in the house being the same size as a small rodent, almost got trampled by us, or crushed by Dad's golfing, and you were losing your ghost powers, slowly transforming back into Danny Fenton in front of Dash, while being chased by Skulker, and by working with Dash you also became more physically fit in the process before you both climbed up to the Ops Center and used the Fenton Crammer to unshrink yourselves, and you managed to regain your powers fast enough to fully transform back into Phantom just before Dash saw Fenton, and you put Skulker into the freezer. Am I missing anything?"

"No, we were actually smaller than a rodent by a little, we could've rode a rat like a horse," Danny responded. "As for the rest, you're not really missing much. Just that we used a chip bag to temporarily take Skulker out."

"Yes, I've pretty much gathered that when I noticed the bag of chips was missing," I answered as I stopped pacing and turned to Danny. "I still can't believe this was happening! If I had known that's what the Fenton Crammer did, I would've gone looking for you in case you got shot. Instead, I went out and fought with a crazy powerful white knight ghost before coming home to see you and Dash talking like you're all chummy with each other in the Ops Center!"

"Wait, you fought with a powerful white knight ghost? Oh come on! Why do you get all the interesting adventures?" Danny complained with a frown.

"How is that interesting? I could've been killed!" I snapped. "And you could've been killed and nobody would've known for weeks!"

"Because you met a new ghost! That's two ghosts now that you've met, meanwhile I've only ran into the same ghosts that I always do." Danny frowned.

I groaned before I said, "You've met with a lot of ghosts before I even became half ghost myself. You have no reason to complain."

"Yeah, but I still want to meet new ghosts…" Danny pouted.

"Why? I mean usually when you meet a new ghost, you have to fight them. Not to mention they would be an unknown enemy when you do," I said as I raised an eyebrow. "It wasn't exactly the highlight of my life when I ran into the white knight. She could give Pariah Dark a run for his money!"

"Wait… really?" Danny asked with a raised brow before he smiled. "I kinda wanna have a fight with her myself now."

I grumbled as I scratched my head, "Danny, if you pick a fight with her, I swear I'm going to kill you myself."

Danny grinned sheepishly as he raised his arms in front of him, "Relax Andy, it was just a joke!"

I crossed my arms before I said, "Her name is Scarlet. And the only other ghosts I've ever fought that attacked with such powerful ghost energy like her was Vlad, Dustin and, to a lesser extent, Pariah Dark since I never actually fought him directly myself."

"Wow, sounds like she'd be a good ally if we ever faced a super tough opponent," Danny said.

I sighed before I said, "You need to let her know you're an ally though, she's got this eccentric personality. She tends to attack first and ask questions later, but she does know Juliette. They seem to be really good friends, so I left Scarlet to keep Juliette safe."

"So when will you be introducing us?" Danny asked.

"Juliette told me it would best to let Scarlet get settled in first before I introduce her to you, Tucker and Sam," I answered. "So I have to wait until Juliette tells me Scarlet's ready to meet new people."

"That makes sense," Danny nodded. "Just a quick question, how do you and Juliette normally keep in contact? Do you guys have an easy form of communication that doesn't require crossing town?"

I frowned before I said, "No, we don't. I've never thought about doing that."

"Perhaps you two should work on something. I mean what if she got captured by Skulker? You wouldn't really know until you went to visit," Danny pointed out.

"I'm sure Scarlet would scream to the heavens if that happened now, but I see your point," I said before I smiled. "Maybe you could ask Tucker if he could make something for us? Or maybe check in with Mom and Dad, they could've made something for communication. Like the Fenton Communicator or something. I mean didn't they have something like that? What's it called… The Fenton Earphones?"

"Me ask Tucker? Why not you? And perhaps not a 'Fenton gadget' as Mom and Dad might somehow end up overhearing a conversation," Danny responded.

"I can ask Tucker," I said with a shrug. "I just don't know where he and Sam are right now. Last I heard, they were at the hospital because Tucker's hands got pecked by an angry bird several times."

Danny couldn't help but let out a laugh, "Oh man, Sam's got him good. And poor Tucker, always having to go to a hospital, the very place he hates more than school. He probably goes there so often he has a dedicated room to just him."

"Speaking of them," I said before I sat down on the bed next to my brother. "Are you and Dash going to go train again tomorrow? And you know… hopefully without another ghost or Fenton mishap?"

"Yeah, I probably should still train with Dash, I don't think I am ready to ace the fitness test yet," Danny admitted.

"I'd say you might have a good chance as you are now, considering you had to get around the house as the size of a bug without your powers, but I'm mostly saying this for your identity's sake," I said.

"My identity's sake?" Danny repeated in a questioning tone.

"Dash was already getting suspicious of you," I answered. "If you suddenly did well at the Fitness Test this Friday without actually training with him as Fenton, then there's a high chance he'll put two and two together and figure out you're actually Danny Phantom."

"I guess you make a good point," Danny said with a nod. "I don't want him figuring out that Danny Fenton is the same as Danny Phantom. I can see he isn't the same, but I doubt he'd be able to keep a huge secret like that secret for too long."

"But it was nice," I said with a small smile.

"Huh? What was?" Danny asked, looking at me.

"To see you and Dash actually getting along," I answered. "Even if Dash didn't know you were Danny Fenton, it was nice to see you two being friendly to each other."

"I hate to say it, but I agree. In fact, I was thinking that his whole 'tough guy jock' attitude might just be an act that he is forced to put on because he plays football and is popular," Danny pointed out.

I began laughing.

Danny raised an eyebrow at that, "Hey! What's so funny?"

"Oh nothing… that was just something I figured out a long time ago," I chuckled. "It's just nice to see you're seeing that yourself now too."

"I see, is there anything else we need to talk about? Or can we get to bed? Cause I'm feeling tired after today's… journey," Danny said before he yawned.

"Yeah, I guess we should go to bed now," I said. "As long as there isn't another ghost around. Oh and we need to have a serious talk with Dad about that Fenton Crammer. We can't have him shooting people and shrinking them down."

"Oh, I already broke the trigger on it," Danny said with a smile. "You can't fire a gun without its trigger."

"True, but he can always fix it," I pointed out.

"Andy, you and I both know that Dad doesn't stay on a single project for too long after its built," Danny said. "He'll probably just think the thing is busted and toss it into the shed."

"Let's hope so," I said with a sigh.

I spent the majority of our training time jogging, doing pull ups at the park, as well as pushups and jumping jacks. I wanted to be as ready for the Fitness Test as I could be, that way I could focus all my energy on creating new weapons from my ghost ray. I remember running into a few weak ghosts while doing this, they were easy to catch in the Fenton Thermos.

But as I was jogging, I couldn't help but think to myself about what type of ecto gun should I try making. Mom and Dad mostly made huge guns like the Fenton Bazooka, there's no way I'll be able to use something like that effectively in a fight. I'd probably have to figure out how to get a smaller, easier to handle kind of gun later.

I had spent all yesterday relaxing, since today was the Fitness Test, and I didn't want to be sore beforehand. The fitness test was going to happen next period, and I was confident that I was going to pass it after all the hard work I had put in. I didn't care about breaking any school records or getting a very high score, I just wanted to pass, nothing more, nothing less.

Danny, Tucker and Sam were already heading out to the field track. I was going to join them after I put away some of my books in my locker.

I sighed to myself before I closed my locker door and stood up before I started walking. However, I didn't see someone was behind me when I started to walk, and I bumped into them.

"Oof!" I yelped when I ran into the person, and they ended up dropping some of their books. "O-oh, I'm so sorry about that. I was kind of in a hurry."

"No, it's completely fine, I was spacing out myself," A feminine voice responded.

I looked at who I bumped into and, after recognizing them, I said, "Hey Katrina. I haven't seen you around a lot, uh… sorry I bumped into you like that."

"You already apologized, Andy," Katrina said with a chuckle.

I bent down to help Katrina pick up some of her books, "I know, it's just… I just feel a little bad that I did."

"I'm also at fault, I was both not paying too much attention as well as the fact I'm carrying a stack of books that blocks a good portion of my field of vision," Katrina responded with a sheepish smile. "Let's just say we're both sorry and at fault and forgive each other, sound good?"

"Yeah, sounds good," I chuckled sheepishly before we both stood up and I handed her back her books. "You feeling lonely since Dash has been busy training my brother for the Fitness Test?"

"Oh, it's fine, I've been busy studying, thankfully I didn't have to participate in the test since I had just done that at my last school before coming here," Katrina responded. "I'm not the clingy type of girlfriend that needs their boyfriend to always be paying attention to them. This school already has someone like that~. Then again, that one person is truly only seeking the attention of one boy in particular."

"And who is that?" I asked with a raised brow.

"Your brother of course," Katrina answered.

I stared at Katrina.

"Kidding, she only has eyes for Danny Phantom, not Danny Fentom, oops, I mean Fenton," Katrina chuckled at my expression.

"... Uh… yeah, right," I said hesitantly. "Of course, a lot of girls seem to like Danny Phantom since he started becoming infamous around here."

"If you haven't figured out who I'm talking about, Andy, I'm talking about Paulina," Katrina said. "She has a shrine to Danny Phantom in her locker."

"Yeah, I saw that shrine too," I said with a sheepish chuckle. "It was kind of creepy."

"Yeah, not even psychic visions would've prepared me for that shrine of hers," Katrina chuckled.

I looked at Katrina, "Psychic visions?"

"I'm kidding," Katrina chuckled again. "There's no such thing as psychic visions. Sure there are ghost and there are probably even half ghosts, but psychic visions are just a bit too unbelievable. And if there is such a thing a psychic visions. there is no guarantee they would even be accurate, they would most likely be more like potential futures, not ones that are set in stone."

"Um… yeah. You seem to have a really good theory on the 'what ifs' concept," I said as I kept looking at Katrina. It feels like she knows more than she's letting on.

"Anyways, I shouldn't keep you around too long, you probably have to get going to your Fitness Test," Katrina said with a soft smile. "I need to get these books back to the library."

"Oh uh, okay. I'll see you around," I said as she walked away.

"See you later, Andy, oh and good luck on your test, from sizing you up, I'm sure you'll set a new school record for the 'Four Minute Mile'," Katrina said as she started to walk away. "Oh and just a tip, after running the mile, do not sit down, you should keep moving."

Before I could respond, Katrina went around a corner. Not a second later, I heard a loud whistle that made me flinch and cringed.

"Fenton! Get changed and out onto the field now!" Coach Tetslaff yelled from the gym entrance.

"Y-yes ma'am!" I yelled before hurrying into the boys changing room to change. After getting changed, I headed out onto the field where people were already doing their tests.

I walked over to where my brother and Tucker were.

"Hey, are you two ready for this?" I asked them.

"We've actually already done the pullups," Tucker responded, surprisingly not out of breath. "I think up next is the long jump or the 100 meter dash."

"It's the 100 meter dash," Danny stated as he stretched out a little. "Then after that is the long jump and then finally the mile run."

"It seems you two are doing pretty well," I said with a smile. "Neither one of you are out of breath yet."

"Our respective training definitely paid off," Tucker commented. "And besides the physical rewards from my training, I have the phone waiting for me when I pass the fitness test."

"Sounds like you're confident you're going to pass," Danny laughed.

"Of course I am, I have a goal I want to achieve, and that goal will let me break past my physical limitations!" Tucker confidently stated.

"Well let's just see how much of that will pay off when we finish with this test," I chuckled as I looked at Tucker.

"Andrew Fenton!" Coach Tetslaff yelled from behind me before she came over. "Since you came out a little late, I want you to do the mile run first before you do the rest of the test, understand?"

I gave a sheepish smile before I said, "Uh, y-yes ma'am."

"As for you, Daniel and Tucker, quit standing around and head to your next stations!" Coach Tetslaff roared.

Danny and Tucker both ran off before Coach Tetslaff could start breathing fire on them. I walked over to where the starting point for the mile run started.

"Are you ready to start your run?" A teacher asked as she held a clipboard and stopwatch.

"Yes ma'am," I said as I got myself ready to run.

The teacher nodded before she said, "On your marks, get set, go!"

I took off as fast as I could the second I heard the word 'go'. I kept running down the track, not stopping or slowing down, passing by a few other of his classmates.

Before I noticed it, the teacher who was keeping track of my time was coming back into view. She had the stopwatch at the ready for when I crossed the finish line. As I crossed the line, I began to slow down before coming to a stop. I saw a few other kids were sitting down on the ground and one that was… let's just say they would probably be hungry soon.

I panted a bit, feeling a bit tired from that mile run.

"Wow, congratulations, Andy!" The teacher said with a smile as she came over. "You set a new school record for the mile run! You finished the mile in 3 minutes, 55 seconds, and 93 milliseconds. The previous record was 3 minutes 57 seconds and 18 milliseconds."

I looked up, surprised from that. I actually set a school record?

"Congrats, Fentwin, nobody would think a scrawny kid like you could set a record," One of the jocks said from behind me.

"I didn't know you've even been working out," Another jock said from beside the first jock.

"Perhaps you should join the football team," Kwan said as he came over.

I gave a small chuckle as I caught my breath and said, "Thanks, but I won't be the school-"

"You could be the ball," Kwan continued, cutting me off before he laughed.

"Hey knock it off Kwan," Dash said as he approached the other jocks. "Andy set a school record, can you do that?"

"Uh well..." Kwan started to respond.

"That's what I thought," Dash said. "If you can't achieve what a 'scrawny kid' like Andy can, then you don't have room to joke."

I gave a small smile and said, "Thanks Dash."

"Ah whatever," The other jocks said. "He may be fast, but that might just be because he runs away every time a ghost comes."

"He could easily run a ball past you on the field, Joey," Dash said with a smile. "In fact, he could probably easily score a touchdown on any of us."

I gave a nervous smile before I said, "H-hey, I'm not really a sportsman type. And I'm not looking to get into a competition with anyone. Besides, my record will be broken soon anyways."

"I don't doubt it," Dash said with a smirk. "Oh and Joey, as for why Andy runs away, have you ever thought that perhaps he runs to go gets his parents, the ghost hunters?"

The other jocks paused at this, even the one Dash called Joey.

I sighed before I walked passed them, just wanting to get away before something else happens. I'm not in the mood to deal with these tough guys.

As I predicted, when Sam did her mile run, she beat my record by two seconds, setting the new record at 3 minutes, 54 seconds, and 25 milliseconds. I can just imagine what the jocks were thinking after a girl beat all of them in the mile run. I wasn't surprised, Sam has always been the most athletic person I knew.

Danny and Tucker managed to pass with a decent time, and for Tucker, that was a big improvement. My other tests went by just fine, my hard training obviously paying off. In fact, after getting the mile run over, the rest of the test went by quickly. Since it was a special occasion with the fitness test, we were allowed to go home after collecting some homework.

Danny, Tucker, Sam and I were walking home together. I told Tucker and Sam about Scarlet, and how we should hold off on visiting Juliette until Scarlet gets settled in and meets them. I didn't want Scarlet to attack them after all.

"So since I've managed to pass," Tucker said to Sam with a grin. "Could I have that phone now?"

"Yup, here you go, I even got you an unlimited data plan," Sam said as she pulled a box out of her pocket and handed it to Tucker. "Inside is the phone, the charger, a case, and a screen protector."

Tucker smiled as he excitedly took the box from Sam like an excited child getting his present for Christmas.

"Hey, Tucker, I would recommend opening it at home," Sam said with a concerned look. "You're practically vibrating right now from the excitement, and if you open it now, you may drop the phone and break the screen."

Tucker looked at us before he said, "I'm going to book it for home, I hope you guys don't mind. Great, see ya tomorrow!"

As Tucker ran off, Sam chuckled. "Let's just hope he keeps that newfound fitness up."

"So is that phone actually real, Sam?" Danny asked.

"Yes it is," Sam responded. "I was going to give him a fake, but after the amount of effort he put into his training and the fact that he scored pretty well on his fitness test, I felt that he deserved the real thing. That phone I gave him is the first smartphone off the production line of my family's tech company."

"Do you think Tucker will start using that over his PDA from now on?" I asked.

"No, most likely he'll use both at first," Danny chuckled. "Then slowly he'll use the smartphone more and more."

"Hey, Danny, Andy, I know this is random, but could I see your phones?" Sam asked suddenly.

"Oh uh, sure," Danny said before he dug into his pocket and pulled out his cell phone.

It was the flip phone that Jazz had gotten before us and passed it down to us when she got a new phone. Thankfully the old flip phone went to Danny since he was the older twin while I got a more modern flip phone.

I took out my own cell phone to show Sam. Danny's cell phone was silver, while mine was a more black color.

"I see, just as I thought," Sam mumbled after looking at our phones.

"You see what?" I asked with a raised brow as Danny and I put our phones away.

"That you two are using phones that would be better used as paperweights," Sam chuckled.

"Hey! They still work when we need them to," Danny grumbled.

"Yeah, but you two should have phones that work more than just when you need them," Sam replied before she asked, "So, do you guys want to hang out tonight? Or would you two rather relax after having to push yourselves so hard at the fitness test?"

"I would like to relax myself," I said before I looked at Danny. "But I'm sure Danny would be more than happy to do something with you, Sam."

"Yeah, I-" Danny stopped when he realized what I just implied. "H-hey! Andy, if I want to hang out with Sam, it's just as friends! Get that into your thick skull!"

"Yeah! There's no way in a million years that Danny and I would be more than just friends!" Sam angrily added.

I was trying not to smile as I brought up my hands in surrender and said, "Hey, hey, no need to bite my head off. All I said was Danny would want to hang out with you, Sam. That's all."

"Yeah, that's all you said, but that's not exactly what you meant," Sam pointed out with frustration. "We both can translate the subtext, Andy."

"So does this mean you two don't want to hang out?" I asked, raising an eyebrow at them.

"How about we go home and rest first before we decide what to do? We got off school early due to the fitness test, so we have the rest of the afternoon and evening to do whatever we want," Danny suggested with a tired sigh. "I'd personally like to take a nice long hot shower before going out anywhere."

"That sounds lovely to me," I said as I daydreamed about getting into a nice hot shower myself.

"If you guys want, you can come over to my house afterwards and use the massage chairs," Sam offered.

"Are your parents home?" I cautiously asked.

"Nope, out of town on a business trip for the next couple days," Sam said with a smirk. "Just me and my grandma are at the house right now. So if we really wanted, we could throw a party."

"Heh, that sounds fine, don't you think so, bro?" Danny asked me.

I smiled and said, "Well, maybe not a party, but spending some time there to relax and watch a movie sounds nice."

"Alright, I'll make sure to get the popcorn machine ready," Sam chuckled.

Over the next couple of days, Danny and I decided to relax. There wasn't really any ghost attacks, giving us the ability to properly relax.

I was a little worried about having to face another powerful ghost again, especially on my own, so Danny and I decided to train together in our parents' lab when they went out.

Danny and I didn't do anything intense or try to learn a new power, rather we were testing our ghost abilities. For instance, we worked on our aim with our ghost rays, we practiced our intangibility and tried to improve our speed and reflexes.

"Wow Andy, you've certainly improved a lot since we last trained together," Danny remarked when I came through the wall.

"Heh, I think the last time we trained together was when we got knocked into the Ghost Zone and caught up in Walker's ghost tournament," I chuckled.

"True," Danny gave a smile, probably thinking about the memory himself. "You were so scared of your ghost powers back then. But look at you now, you've come a long since then, bro."

"A lot's happened since then," I said softly.

"Tell me about it," Danny sighed. "We've faced ghost after ghost and it seems that they just keep getting stronger and stronger. I don't actually mind it too much though, as it gives us the ability to grow and mature. Speaking about growth and maturity, you still having those nightmares?"

I gave Danny an uneasy look before I said, "No, not as much. I haven't really thought about it lately, not since we've faced Dan and my future self."

"That's good to hear." Danny smiled. "What about future visions? Any of those recently?"

"Not since the last one," I said as I gave a thought. "You know, if we want to experiment, you could try to keep in contact with me until I do get another future vision, just to see if I could actually share visions with you."

"What? Like hold your hand or something? And how long would we try?" Danny inquired. "Because, no offense, I'd rather not have to hold your hand for all that long. I could probably deal with it for 10-15 minutes at most."

I couldn't help but let out a snort of laughter when Danny said this. "N-no, no of course not. I just think we should try to stick close together like we used to. See, my future visions usually gives me a few second warning before I actually see them. I normally get a little dizzy and my eyesight blurs a little just before the visions come."

Danny blinked before he nodded, "Oh, I get it. So when you start feeling the warning signs, I just have to make sure I touch you just before the vision comes?"

I nodded with a smile, "That's the idea. Besides, it might help us be more in sync the next time we have to battle, which will make the fight easier on both of us. We have been fighting without each other lately, so working on tandem fighting would be a good idea."

"So, what should we practice nex-" Danny started before we heard Dad's heavy footsteps upstairs, which was a sign that we should change back.

Danny and I quickly summoned our rings that transformed us back into our human forms.

"Kids? Where are you!?" Dad yelled from upstairs. "We got lunch!"

"Uh, we're down here, Dad! Cleaning up like you told us!" I called back.

"Well get up here quick!" Dad yelled down to us from the kitchen. "Otherwise I'll eat your pizzas!"

"We should go," Danny chuckled with a shake of his head. "I don't want Dad eating our lunch again."

"Yeah," I sighed. "I also like my pizza. Let's go."

"Race you there," Danny said with a smile before he started running for the stairs.

"Argh! Danny, stop racing me!" I yelled before I started running after him.

"You're just mad cause I always get a head start!" Danny laughed as he ran up the stairs.

TheProphet2000: DarkFoxKit 'Hamsuke': I don't currently have plans for any additional temporal abilities, well none that he already has right now anyways. As for Andy going to Clockwork, it's not exactly easy getting a hold of the time ghost, and even if he did, Andy didn't want to bother Clockwork on something he could figure out himself, or so he tells himself. And thank you, it's good to know you enjoy the story so much you've re-read it three times. I get cringy whenever I go back and re-read the earlier chapters though, but I'm sure everyone does that with their earlier works.

Raidentensho: DarkFoxKit 'Hamsuke': I'd say you should just read and see for yourself what Andy will do. I'm a 'discovery writer', meaning I don't plan out the plot that far ahead, rather I focus more on the characters and go along with the story with them.

Darkzdragon 'Onyx': Also, we're both completely against spoilers, so even if we did have something planned, we'd never reveal it. We like to let the readers experience it for themselves all at the same time instead of dropping spoilers. Spoilers ruin the surprise and authentic reactions one would experience if they witnessed it on their own.

Luna Lillyth: Darkzdragon 'Onyx': Nah, Scarlet doesn't use a horse. We actually based her off of Erza Scarlet from Fairy Tail ^^' which we were binging at the time.

DarkFoxKit 'Hamsuke': Because Erza is awesome and because it was fun to put in a character like her. Besides, we thought she might make for a good future mentor. It's kind of funny that Danny is terrible at lying, yet he's able to hide his ghost half from his own family for so long.

Darkzdragon 'Onyx': Well they never really outright ask him or accuse him of being a ghost, so he doesn't need to come up with an excuse.

DarkFoxKit 'Hamsuke': It's also because they never thought it possible for a human to become a ghost (except through death, which is what Andy thought as well).

eeveemaster: Darkzdragon 'Onyx': The main reason we didn't do that is because we want this to be just as much Andy's story as it is Danny Phantom. If we had involved Andy in the Fenton Crammer adventure it may not have worked as easily and would've felt like we were just trying to rewrite the episode to fit in Andy. We wanted to show that there are times where Danny will be off on his own adventure while Andy has a life of his own. It makes it so Andy is more of his own character instead of Danny's shadow like a lot of twin stories tend to do.

DarkFoxKit 'Hamsuke': We also didn't have anything special in mind for that episode with Andy. I suppose Andy could've tried to get Danny and Dash to work together, but that works better if it was just Danny and Dash.

Darkzdragon 'Onyx': Admittedly it's also a bit easier to write a whole other story line for a chapter than it is to rewrite something that already exists to fit in another character. The episode worked better on its own because it was just Dash and Danny. Had we tried to add in Andy, the end result may not have been as impactful.

Oh! And here is the new chapter, Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!~

Mana: Darkzdragon 'Onyx': *Chuckles* No need to apologize, Mana, everyone has different tendencies. For instance, Maddie trusts her son enough to know that he will be safe even without an easy way to call for help. The whole family probably has military level survival and self defense training.

DarkFoxKit 'Hamsuke': We originally weren't going to have a holy knight from Juliette's time and kingdom come in, but we figured it would be good for Juliette to have someone to protect her from ghosts like Skulker, and a possible mentor for Danny and Andy later, someone who isn't Vlad.

Heh, well Andy did miss their adventure, it did give Danny and Dash a chance to get to know each other better, Danny more so since Dash still doesn't know he's Danny Phantom. I always thought it was weird that Jack would make something that could affect humans too, but I'm guessing that the Fenton Crammer wasn't quite finished yet and he was testing it… though how he didn't notice that he shrunk down a human child is a bit concerning.

Darkzdragon 'Onyx': Perhaps he needs to get his eyes checked.

DarkFoxKit 'Hamsuke': I'm guessing Skulker either got lucky and wasn't swallowed by Jack when he was frozen in Jack's root beer, or Skulker… found a not so pleasant way out. ^^'

The College years definitely sounds like an interesting idea. I'd just be happy for Butch to continue the series at this point, preferably with not a big timeskip. Also, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

FireSoulKid: DarkFoxKit 'Hamsuke': Heh, well thank you. I'm happy to know you enjoy this story, though now that I have a co-writer, the story's gotten better and longer. XD Hope is an interesting character, but right now she's a bit bitter, so it'll take a while for her to soften up. We also made Dash more human and less of the jock stereotype that Butch made him, so we felt it was natural he'd get suspicious.

Nensho hai: Darkzdragon 'Onyx': *Smiles happily* Well here you are! Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

DarkFoxKit 'Hamsuke': I'm also interested in the meeting between Andy and Dani myself.

Darkzdragon 'Onyx': If I were a fan, I'd be more wondering if we're going to be giving Andy a female clone and if so, what their name would be. While yes, Andi is the obvious choice, there could be more elegant choices. *Chuckles and looks at the viewers* This is your chance to go wild with speculation~
