Chapter Twenty Nine.

Rider.

Real Name: Morisato Keiichi.

Also Known As: K1, Morisato-senpai, Keiichi-san.

Alignment: Lawful Good.

Attribute: Human.

Likes: Belldandy, machines, working on machines, racing cars, driving in general.

Dislikes: Mara, Aoshima Toshiyuki.

Natural Enemy: None.

Parameters:

Strength: E

Endurance: D-

Agility: E

Mana: B

Luck: C

Noble Phantasm: B

Skuld's Earthly contract and first Pactio partner, and in another prior life, soul mate to Belldandy, Norn of the Present. Back then Skuld hated him for stealing her sister's attentions away from her, but now she'd rather prefer for him to remember her. Hasegawa Sora's senpai at the Nekomi Motor Club, where he fell in unrequited love with campus diva Mishima Sayoko. Morisato is short for his age (and unlikely to ever grow any beyond this point) and rather unlucky, but he's reliable and had the most laid back, easygoing and reasonable overall attitude of all the boys in Ala Alba.

He is a master racer, and his Pactio reflects that, allowing him to drive literally anything, even normally immobile objects, he can attach his steering Wheel Artifact onto. He can drive those objects as well as he'd handle a motorcycle or automobile afterwards. He had a set of loving parents he was very attached to, making him a rarity in Ala Alba, mostly made up of people who were orphaned or distanced from their families (save Haruna and Makie and, to a lesser degree, Ayaka). He also had a little sister, so he could bond with Yuuki Rito over being the foolish big brother to the smarter Imouto.

Class Skills:

Riding: A

Rider was an excellent, accomplished and skilled race car driver in life, winning several titles in the university circuits of Japan. He also was Ala Alba's designated driver. He can drive pretty much any manner of man made vehicle, whether it was designed for land, air or water, and can even pilot divine machines with ease. However, he doesn't have the aptitude to ride animals, and dragons and Phantasmal Beasts shouldn't even be approached.

Anti Magic: D

Close association with two importantly ranked goddesses during the course of previous existences has made Rider quite acquainted with magic and its pitfalls. He never displayed any particular immunity to it, and as a matter of fact he was often struck by spells from entities intent on harming the Norns through him, but no matter the situation, Rider always could power up and make his way, one way or another, through the ridiculous body modifications and inconveniences he was put through.

Personal Skills:

Divinity: D

The extreme proximity to young, attractive goddesses Rider had in every incarnation of his legend has earned him a low rank of divinity by proxy. It has been said that he even managed to marry Belldandy at the end of at least one timeline, and that they had a son, Elgron. He can charm and seduce most goddesses approaching him without even trying or meaning to, and even Artemis should be careful about him. Female demons and devils, including Shuten-Douji and Ibaraki-Douji, are vulnerable to his geeky charms as well, which translates to debuffs in battle should they oppose each other.

However, as in life Mara held nothing but disregard or contempt for Keiichi, this now extends to Kama as well.

Tinkering- Discernment of the Heart of the Machine: A

A special ability to fix, repair, upgrade, and improve upon any piece of machinery, small or seemingly useless as it may be, to the point of making it an impressive tool.

Rider has an incredible level of skill at handling and managing technology despite lacking an extremely advanced rank of formal education on the subject. This is different from Item Creation as he cannot just create machines from spare pieces and the existing foundation of an established machinery is needed. Rider's aptitudes with the Skill peak when it comes to tune vehicles up, especially those land based, and are at their lowest when he is asked to work on weaponry; however, to some degree or another, he has a stunning range, going from surveillance devices to communication implements and electric networks.

Bravery: B

The ability to negate mental interference such as pressure, confusion and fascination. It also has the bonus effect of increasing melee damage.

In life, Rider would never flinch away from much more powerful and dangerous foes even if he was powerless himself. This includes Hild, the queen of demons herself. He would not look for confrontation, and whenever possible he would step back from conflict, but he never was cowardly and had an iron will whenever it came to unavoidable confrontations. All parameters go one rank up, two under the special circumstances specified below.

The Skill's rank is raised to A if the Servant is fighting for a very loved, close one, and to A+ if he's facing an opponent with Demonic traits on top of that.

Noble Phantasm:

Stringfellow- Song of the Proud Love: B

The crystallization of Rider's love for a goddess, moving him to feats unreachable by a normal human, and fetching him a place in the Throne of Heroes. A tool earned by great sacrifice and loving effort. A powerful streak that blazes through the air, a memento of a lost romance.

The Noble Phantasm manifests itself as a plain looking broom, Belldandy's mount of choice. Rider can get on it, much to the manner of a fairy tale witch, and it will grant him A+ ranked Agility, mobility and speed through the air. With it, Rider can run virtually any opponent down; damage is not grievous, but it can be spammed repeatedly for added effect, and it is extremely difficult to avoid or dodge. Rider is practically invulnerable, even to poisons and mental attacks, while speeding by on it, but he becomes vulnerable again when the broom stops or hovers around.

Summon: "Good morning, you have contacted the Servant Relief Office. I am Rider, Servant Second Class, Limited... Ah, ha ha, sorry, I always wanted to say that..."

Start of Battle: "Okay! Let's go!"

Victory: "Alright!"

"I'm sorry about that!"

"Hey, you aren't hurt, are you?"

Defeat: "Uwaa!"

"Blast, just my luck..."

"No, that's okay, I... You deserved to win, I guess..."

Defeat by Noble Phantasm: "B-Belldandy...!"

Extra Dialogue:

"Oi, Sku-chan! I'm so glad to see you again... Uwaa?! H-Hey, what's up with that reaction?! Are you happy or mad at seeing me?!" (When you have Caster Skuld).

"That... That pose... That feeling... That, that is, no, n-no, never mind, forget I ever said anything, it doesn't matter..." (When you have Caster Skadi).

"... no, sorry, something's missing here. Ah? Ah?! N-No, I'm sorry, I never meant to offend! P-Please lower that thing, that's not what I meant!" (When you have Lancer Scathach or Assassin Scathach).

"Oh, Sensei. Yes, of course I remember you, I- What's with that face, Sensei? Where's your usual smile?" (When you have Berserker Negi Springfield).

Birthday: "Happy birthday! Gosh, I wish Megumi were here, she was much better at organizing parties..."

Event: "Oh, cool, a day at the races! Huh? What do you mean, they might not have races? I mean, they would have to if it's an important festival, right?"

Holy Grail: "What do I wish for? No... No, sorry, forget it. There is something I would like very much. To see someone's smile again, to touch those hands, but... that's the thing, I can't remember who she was. I really can't. I'd wish to remember, but then the pain would only be even worse."

To be Continued.
