DarkFoxKit 'Hamsuke': So… do you feel any better now? Dora had to tranquilize you after that… bloodlust you showed last time.
Darkzdragon 'Onyx': *Is tiredly staring at a wall* How many tranquilizers did she use…? All of them… ever?
DarkFoxKit 'Hamsuke': No… but she used a lot. Can you move?
Darkzdragon 'Onyx': Probably… but I don't want to… too tired to bother trying.
DarkFoxKit 'Hamsuke': Oh, okay… so you're probably too tired to smile and wave to our lovely viewers as well?
Darkzdragon 'Onyx': *Looks at the camera* Sup… how's it going? Hope you're all having a… swell time out there in the world… enjoying your freedom… not having to worry about starting a war… or being married to a prince whose head should be shoved straight up his-
DarkFoxKit 'Hamsuke': Onyx! No using that kind of language here, this is a family friendly story.
Darkzdragon 'Onyx': I'd eye roll at that… but I can't be bothered… hmmm… is this how Shikamaru used to always feel?
DarkFoxKit 'Hamsuke': I apologize, dear viewers, Onyx still hasn't quite recovered from all those tranquilizers Dora injected into her. You all go ahead and read the chapter, meanwhile, I'll see what I can do with this tired princess dragon.
Chapter 63: Painful Popularity
It was the next day at Casper High. Danny, Tucker and I were walking down the hallway. I could see banners advertising the beauty pageants hanging on the ceiling. There were some guys around, looking through their lockers, but there were a lot of girls standing around, waving at us.
"Hey, Andy! Want to try some homemade chocolate chip cookies?!" Star energetically asked as she ran over with a plate of cookies.
"I did all your math homework, Danny!" A girl who I didn't know the name of said to my brother, holding a bunch of papers in her hands.
"Okay, I doubt that since the teacher hasn't even assigned the homework yet," Danny skeptically responded before he glanced at the stack of paper. "Just like I thought, not homework. Just love notes, promises to do stuff for me and… did you steal answers for the math test?!"
"Ah, I'm uh, watching my carbs right now," I said to Star, seeing all the cookies she had on her plate.
"Come on, just a bite?~" Star said as she fluttered her eyelashes.
"Girls! Give the boys some space! Can't you see that you're suffocating them!?" Paulina loudly said.
The other girls stepped back a bit as Paulina approached, and I gave a sigh of relief, "Oh, thank goodness. I never thought I'd be happy to see you, Paulina."
"It's no problem, Andy." Paulina smiled before she said. "Would you like to go on a date with me? Or perhaps come to my next party?"
I gave Paulina a deadpanned look.
"I would," Danny said with a smile.
"Great, we can talk about it during lunch~" Paulina said with a bright smile.
"What about me?" Tucker asked with a frown. "Is nobody going to offer me anything?"
"Why would anyone offer you anything?" Star asked venomously.
"I'm the best friend of two of the judges," Tucker answered.
Star then gave Tucker a bright smile and said, "I can bake you more cookies during lunch."
"How about you give me what's on the plate right now as well as your number?" Tucker said with a sly smile.
"Of course!" Star smiled as she all but shoved the plate of cookies into Tucker's hands. She then pulled out a piece of paper and a pen before writing something down on it, which she then placed on top of the pile of cookies. "I expect a call from you soon."
"Of course," Tucker said with a goofy smile on his face.
"At least you're enjoying this," I said to Tucker.
"You're digging yourself a grave, Tuck," Danny chuckled.
"What are you talking about?" Tucker asked confused.
"What do you think is going to happen after the pageant?" Danny asked. "Their favors and gifts will only last up to right before the pageant and afterwards all offers become void."
"Oh I know that, I'm not delusional enough to think this is forever," Tucker said before pulling out the cell phone Sam gave him, checking something. "I'm going to enjoy it while it lasts."
"Well just try not to upset anyone that may want revenge afterwards," Danny warned. "Definitely don't do anything that might be demeaning. Women are well known for their ability to hold a grudge."
"You should know that, considering Valerie's still after your ghostly hide," I chuckled. "Also, Tucker, what are you doing? Where's your PDA?"
"It's in my backpack," Tucker responded as he tapped the phone. "As for what I'm doing, I'm adding Star's number to my phone of course. Then I'll check my calendar and see what will work for my schedule for any dates."
"Hey, have any of you seen Sam?" Danny asked. "I haven't seen her at all today."
"Maybe she called in sick to try and avoid the pageant?" Tucker offered with a small shrug. "That seems kinda like a typical Sam move."
"Is she willing to skip the entire week of school just because of the pageant?" I asked.
"Knowing her, yes," Tucker responded before he put his phone away. Once his phone was away, he started eating the cookies Star made. "Wow, these are really good."
Before Danny or I could say anything, we heard someone's footsteps making their way to us.
"Ready for round one, Andy?" Danny chuckled. "Cause what we just faced was probably only the warm up."
I shook my head, "No."
I sighed in relief when we heard the familiar voice of Sam. "Hey guys."
"Sam, where've you been?" Danny asked as she approached us.
Sam gave a dull look of annoyance before she said, "I was signing up for the stupid pageant."
Just like that, I heard the entire hallway gasping as if the end of the world was just declared.
"What?! Why?!" Tucker yelled.
"My parents heard about it and are forcing me to participate," Sam sighed. "They said I either participate in the stupid pageant or I would have to go live with Uncle Jerry until I finished High School…"
I looked around and noticed that all the girls in the area were staring at Sam. I gave a nervous smile.
"Oh get a life, everyone!" Sam snapped when she finally noticed the stares.
"Sam, they're probably feeling threatened, because you are our best friend next to Tucker," I explained.
"Look, I'm gonna be frank, I'm going to participate as minimally as possible," Sam said. "And I'm gonna do as little as possible at the actual pageant. Maybe I'll even goth up my outfit to make myself less of a contestant. You can also tell everyone that I'm being forced to do this and am not in the running for the winner."
Danny gave Sam a very concerned look. I looked at Danny myself, before remembering that vision we had of Sam marrying someone. I can see why Danny was worried.
"Um… just be very careful, okay Sam?" Danny said.
"Maybe I'll get myself disqualified just to ease everyone's worries. Though I'll have to do it at the actual pageant so my parents don't send me off to Uncle Jerry's farm," Sam said with an exasperated sigh.
"Hey, bro, could I talk to you in private for a second?" Danny asked me suddenly. "Go on ahead of us, you two, we'll catch up."
"Oh… uh… yeah, sure," Tucker said, his mouth covered in cookie crumbs.
"You two have fun," Sam said with a smirk.
Tucker and Sam walked down the hallway, leaving me alone with Danny. Well, Danny and I weren't completely alone, we still had the other girls looking at us.
"Danny, do you need the conversation to be private private or just Tucker and Sam private?" I asked.
"Private private," Danny said, looking around before he smiled. "Ladies, could you give us the hall? We have judge matters to talk about."
"Of course, the hall is all yours!" Paulina said, speaking for the other girls.
Before I knew it, the hallway was completely cleared. The girls moved fast. Wait, why didn't I think of that?
"Man am I going to miss being able to do that when this is all over," Danny chuckled before looking at me. He then pointed up at the ceiling.
I didn't understand what Danny meant until he looked around and quickly formed a ring of light around his waist. My eyes widened in surprise as he transformed into his ghost form.
"Danny, are you sure that was wise? There could've been someone watching us in secret," I hissed.
Danny didn't respond and just grabbed my arm before turning us both intangible, flying us through the ceiling and up onto the roof. I gave a surprise yelp when Danny pulled me up to the roof.
"There, now we can talk in private," Danny said with a smile as he turned as tangible and set me down on the roof.
I walked over to the edge of the roof, remembering how Dash and I had to get up here to warn Danny that Jazz was in danger. I shook my head with a small smile, to think I would think back on that memory with a bit of fondness.
"I've been thinking about our assignment from Dora," Danny said before he sighs. "And this really sucks to say… but we only really have two options for who we can choose to win the pageant."
"Two options?" I asked.
"Well two options now, it was just one option before," Danny responded. "Dora wants us to find a girl who can resist the will of a ghost prince that is also a dragon. And there are only two people in this entire school that fit that bill and now they're both entered into the pageant."
I thought back to that list Tucker sent us early this morning. He found the list of those students participating in the beauty pageant on the school's website. Of course, it was before Sam signed up, which is why we were taken by surprise when she announced she did.
"You're talking about Sam and Valerie, aren't you?" I said when I remembered seeing Valerie being one of the participants.
"Yup," Danny answered. "They're both experienced with dealing with ghosts and would be able to resist them for the longest."
Danny had a good point. The other girls, well students of Casper High in general, don't know how to handle ghosts very well. They usually scream, hide or flee whenever they see a ghost. Sam and Valerie are the only two girls that we know of who had experience in ghost fighting. So they were the best choice out of everyone else. But that puts us in a tough spot. Which of our friends do we choose to put in danger?
"Are you worried that Sam will end up falling for Aragon like in the vision?" I asked my ghostly brother.
"Yes, of course I am," Danny replied. "Sam is our close friend and I wouldn't forgive myself if she got brainwashed."
"Danny, just remember that the visions don't always come true. We always have a chance to stop it," I said, hoping to reassure him. "Are you… thinking about picking Valerie instead?"
"Well… I mean maybe, Valerie's got a pretty strong will and there's no way she'd let Aragon do what he wants with her," Danny said after hesitating.
I sighed before I said, "I wouldn't recommend using Valerie."
"Yeah, I was thinking the same… if we send Valerie there… she might break when she finds out there are way more ghosts than she ever could imagine and that there are some out there that are way stronger than us," Danny said with a sigh. "Meaning our only real choice would be Sam… Do you think maybe we should ask Dora if we can let Sam in on the plan?"
"Um… Danny, I just want to say that you're starting to scare me," I said with a small frown.
Danny raised an eyebrow, "Why? Did I do something wrong?" Then he suddenly looked down at himself, as if checking if anything was off.
"No, nothing like that," I said, making him look back up at me. "It's just… lately you seem to know exactly what I'm thinking. It's just kinda creepy, don't you think?"
"Didn't we used to be exactly like that when we were younger?" Danny asked in response.
I nodded, when Danny and I were kids, we would always seem to know what the other was thinking. We would finish each other's sentences, or even talk in sync. But we grew out of it when we became teenagers, and even more so after the first accident.
"It's just weird since I thought we grew out of it," I admitted.
"Maybe there's less keeping us apart these days. I mean we've been able to bond a lot more with each other lately," Danny pointed out.
"I guess that's true…" I shook my head. "Ah, sorry, didn't mean to get side tracked. We have more important things to worry about right now. As for your suggestion, I think we should. It would definitely help if we could let Sam in on this plan. Maybe it'll help keep her from marrying Aragon like we saw in the vision."
"Do you believe she would be able to keep it a secret and that she would still be able to fill the role without giving anything away?" A male voice asked from around us.
Danny and I looked around and our eyes widened a little when we saw that the birds in the sky were at a standstill, and the winds were non-existent.
"Here we go again," I said to Danny before a flash of blue light appeared before us.
A familiar old looking ghost floated in front of us. Danny and I gave a smile.
"Clockwork, I didn't think we'd see you again for a long time," Danny said.
Danny and I looked up to Clockwork, as sort of like a ghostly grandfather.
"Heheh, well you should remember that time is a relative thing," Clockwork said with a chuckle before his form shifted to that of a young man. "To me, it's only been a few moments since I last saw you. Though it was a future version of you two that now exist."
"Time shenanigans, always a fun thing to try and figure out," I chuckled before getting serious. "So you know about our dilemma, I take it?"
"Of course, I'm always keeping an eye on my two favorite halfas," Clockwork responded. "You wish to know if you could let your w- friend Sam know about the plan that Dora came up with."
I raised an eyebrow at the little stutter Clockwork had there.
"Shouldn't we talk to Dora about that?" Danny asked.
"No, she cannot be outside time again right now as it would possibly alert her brother which would ruin the entire plan," Clockwork explained. "And you cannot openly ask her in normal time as her brother is always watching her."
"That's true," I sighed. "So you're here to tell us what we should do?"
"No, I am here to ask you my question and hear your response," Clockwork stated. "I cannot tell you what to do as it is out of my jurisdiction. I can only try to guide you to find an answer of your own."
Danny and I sighed at this, but it made sense. Clockwork is a powerful ghost, he can manipulate time, so he had to have some kind of rules to follow or this world would be plunge into complete chaos.
"Now, I will ask the question again, do you believe your friend would be able to keep the secret from slipping and would she still be able to fulfill her role and play along with the prince and keep him from gaining control over her if she did know?" Clockwork asked.
Danny was the first to answer as he said, "Yes, I believe in Sam. She never once told anyone my secret after the accident, and she's always trying her best to keep the situation under control."
"Yes but that is where an issue arises. If your friend tries to keep a situation under control and is asked to put in a position of little to no control, would she be able to fulfill that role?" Clockwork asked in response.
Danny frowned and looked hesitant, and I decided to give my own answer, "Sam may not like having to play the damsel in distress. But I believe she'll do it if she knows it's important."
Clockwork nodded, turning into his child form before he said, "Then you have your own answer. Just remember to be careful to where and when anything is said. You wouldn't want more than just your friend to overhear, would you?"
"Yeah, of course," Danny said with a nod, probably remembering when he accidentally transformed in front of Jazz and me.
"If that is all, I shall bid you a farewell," Clockwork stated as he shifted back into a young man. "Oh and before I go, I would like to pass on a warning. Andy, beware of the black twin tailed cat."
"What?" I blinked in shock at the sudden weird warning.
Like always, I didn't get my answer as Clockwork disappeared in a flash and time started moving again.
"That was strange…" Danny said with a frown. "Though it was probably the most detail we've ever really gotten out of him."
"Great, now I have to be wary of any two tailed cats I see," I groaned.
"Shouldn't be hard since there are no natural two tail cats anywhere here." Danny said with a chuckle. "It's probably a Ghost Zone cat."
"I'll be sure to keep that in mind then," I grumbled. "But we should get to class and then talk to Sam about the plan. And you better change back before someone sees you."
"I'll take us to an empty bathroom and change back there," Danny responded as he grabbed me and turned us both intangible again.
The classrooms seemed so empty without the girls. Most, if not all, the girls were out on the football field practicing for the pageant with Dora. The teachers had an easier time since there were so few of us to deal with in the class. Danny and I had the opportunity to watch since we were the judges, but we decided to get through our classes since we wanted as little extra work as possible. It wasn't so bad, at least the girls were busy with practicing for the pageant.
But then, lunch came around. And oh boy… was it anything but normal… in a few words, it was complete and utter chaos.
The minute Danny and I step foot in the cafeteria, we were immediately swarmed by girls. We were all but pushed to a table that had a banner on it that said 'Reserved for Pageant Judges'. I had a funny feeling that didn't include Katrina, since she wasn't here.
"It's at times like this that I wouldn't mind being homeschooled!" Danny yelled through the swarm of girls.
I swear, if we weren't trying to keep our ghost halves a secret, I would go intangible and sink underground right now. I groaned to myself as we were forced to sit on the table.
"How are you two pageant judges feeling today?" One of the girls asked. "Are you feeling hungry? Cause we all made lunch and desserts for you~"
"You do know that we're not the only judges for this pageant, right?" I asked.
The girls didn't give me an answer to that, instead they brought out a lot of different kinds of food and desserts on their trays. I could see soup, stew, chicken, burgers, sandwiches, cakes, pies, tarts, cookies. Just looking at everything made me feel nauseous.
"Um, could we-" Danny began to say before Star pushed a spoonful of her soup into his mouth.
"How is it? Is it good? It's my mother's secret recipe," Star said with a smile on her face.
"This is-" I was starting to say, before Paulina so rudely shoved a sandwich in my mouth, making me bite off a big piece.
"My papa helped me make that special sandwich, we only make it for special occasions," Paulina said, smiling her usual smile.
Danny and I were practically being forced fed by these crazy girls. Another girl decided that instead of feeding us, she would try to massage us. I felt her trying to pound my back, and almost made me choke on the food I was forced to eat.
"Ladies! Stop! You're going to kill them!" A male voice yelled over all the girls.
I had never felt so relieved to hear his voice.
I looked up and saw Dash making his way over to Danny and me. Dash looked at us before turning back to the crowd of girls, "Alright, enough is enough. They're the judges to the beauty pageant you want to win so much, but they can only be judges if they make it until the pageant."
"Dash, I am only going to say this once," Paulina said with a sweet voice before it turned venom. "Get out of our way before we run you down!"
"We should… probably get out of here…" Danny said in a worried tone.
Dash turned to us and grabbed our arms, "Quick, this way!"
Danny and I didn't struggle as Dash dragged us out of the cafeteria. We could hear the girls screaming out.
"He's taking the judges away!"
"GET THEM!"
As we ran away, we heard a stampede forming behind us. Dora, what have you gotten us into?
"Dash, where are we going?" Danny asked as Dash still held our arms.
"We need a place to hide!" I quickly said. "Stuff us into a locker or something!"
"No, then you'd be trapped. We need a way out!" Dash said. "We'll go through the library and then go to the Teacher's Office."
I could hear the girls getting closer as Dash tried to pick up the pace while still holding onto us. Dash only let us go when we got to the library, since he needed his hands to open the door.
"We can lose them in the library," Dash said as he pushed open the library door and started darting in and out of the aisles of books.
Danny and I hurried into the library ourselves, trying to get through the aisles of books.
"Come on you two! Keep up!" Dash said quietly but still loud enough for us to hear.
We could already hear the girls at the entrance of the library. Dash grabbed Danny's hand since he was closer, and I grabbed onto Danny's other hand, forming a human chain as Dash pulled us through the other entrance of the library, bringing us back out into the hallway.
"This way," Dash stated, as he pulled Danny to the right, towards the Teacher's Office.
Dash stopped in front of the door of the Teacher's Office, letting Danny's hand go.
"You two go in, I'll lead the girls away," Dash said as he opened the door for us. "And before you say anything, we don't have the time for it. Just trust me."
"Try not to get ripped apart out there," I quickly said before Danny dragged me into the office.
Dash closed the door behind me and I heard his sneakers squeak as he turned and ran away. I was about to turn to Danny to suggest using our ghost powers to remain invisible for the rest of the school day when someone spoke up.
"The Fenton twins? What are you two doing in here?"
We looked to the voice and saw Mr. Lancer standing there tapping his foot expectantly.
"Uh, hi Mr. Lancer," I greeted nervously. "Fancy meeting you here."
"Yes, fancy meeting me, a teacher, in the Teacher's Office," Mr. Lancer sarcastically responded. "What reason are you two in here during your lunch period? And what happened to your shirts?"
I frowned as I looked down, realizing that my shirt was covered with food stains, the most noticeable one being a white, buttercream icing on my black shirt.
"I'm gonna be frank…" Danny said before he took a deep breath. "We're running from the contestants of the Beauty Pageant who were trying to cram food down our throats to impress us because we're the judges. Please, Mr. Lancer, can we stay here until the mob of girls dissipates a little?"
"I don't think we can survive the rest of lunch like this," I groaned.
Mr. Lancer's stern expression softened up a bit when he heard this. Before Mr. Lancer could say anything, there was a knock on the door. Danny and I quickly ran to the back of the room, having a gut feeling that it was the mob of girls.
Mr. Lancer walked over to the door and opened it up, but kept his body in the way of the room.
"May I help you ladies?" Mr. Lancer asked.
"Hello, Mr. Lancer, sorry to bother you, but have you seen Danny and Andy Fenton perchance?" Paulina asked. "We were following them to get their opinion on something but we lost track of them."
"Hmmm, I did see two shapes running past the door in the direction of the gymnasium," Mr. Lancer said. "If it was them, can you tell them to come see me immediately so I can give them detention slips for running in the halls?"
"Of course," Paulina said in a cheery voice, though I'm not sure if she was lying or not.
"If there is nothing else, I will get back to grading homework," Mr. Lancer said as he closed the door.
We all heard a mass of footsteps walking away from the door before slowly speeding up. When the sound died down, Mr. Lancer turned to look at us.
"That should help you for a bit, but perhaps it might be in your best interests of health and safety if you went home for the day," Mr. Lancer said. "While it goes against all my ethics to let you off of school while not being sick, it is more important to ensure the health and safety of my students."
"Thanks, Mr. Lancer, we really owe you for this," Danny said with a genuine smile.
"Yes, really, thank you," I said gratefully.
"Of course, you two," Mr. Lancer said. "I will talk to Principal Ishiyama and see if there is anything we can do to accommodate your health and safety at school until the actual pageant. If we do not find a solution, then it would be advisable for you to stay at home until the actual pageant."
"We will… talk to our parents about that," I said.
"I will call your home later after I have had a chance to talk to Principal Ishiyama, and I will also send any homework that you might miss to your parents' email address that they gave us," Mr. Lancer responded. "For now you two should find a way to slip out of the school unnoticed. Perhaps wait until class has started and leave then, I will write you two passes that say you are going home if any teacher or hall monitor stops you.."
"I'm sure we'll find a way, Mr. Lancer," Danny said with a small smile.
"I am grateful that you came to me for help, you two," Mr. Lancer said as he pulled out two slips from a stack of papers and began to write on it. "It is my job as your teacher to help you however I can."
Before too long, Mr. Lancer finished writing and turned around to us, handing us two pieces of paper. "These are your passes, don't lose them."
"Thanks for helping us, Mr. Lancer," Danny said as he took his pass.
I took mine too and said, "We're really grateful for it."
"Of course, Danny and Andy," Mr. Lancer said with a rare smile. "It makes me happy to help my students."
"We should go now while the girls are looking for us at the gym," I said.
"If you are leaving now then I wish you the best of luck in avoiding the girls," Mr. Lancer said with a small laugh.
Danny opened the door slowly and looked around before he gestured me to follow him out. I closed the door, and noticed the hallway was empty.
"Let's go to the bathroom and go ghost," Danny said quietly. "It'll be the easiest way to slip out."
"I think I rather just turn invisible now and go find Sam, tell her what we need to do and then go home," I grumbled.
"No, we should call Sam and have her come to our house after school," Danny responded. "We shouldn't stick around school any longer than we have to."
"Yeah, good point," I said before Danny disappeared from view.
I turned myself invisible, and had to rely on my ghost sight to be able to see Danny. Both of us began walking down the hall.
Once Danny and I were outside of the school, I felt it was safe to say something, "Oh, Danny, I've decided I want to go with Juliette and Scarlet into the Ghost Zone after all."
"Alright, you want me to come with?" Danny asked quietly, both of us still remaining invisible until we got far enough away from school.
"I think that would be ideal, especially since you'll get mobbed if you come back here," I answered as we kept walking down the sidewalk before we ducked into an alley to turn visible.
"Are we going today or tomorrow?" Danny asked as we walked out of the alley and started walking on the sidewalk towards our home.
"We should probably go either tonight or tomorrow, after we've explained everything to Sam, and our parents sees us home," I said.
"Heh, alright, I'll come along," Danny said with a smile. "As for being mobbed by the girls, I might stay at home until the actual pageant so we don't have to deal with an army of angry girls."
As we got closer to home, close enough to where we could actually see it, I suddenly remembered something incredibly important. "Uh… Danny… we forgot about Tucker."
Danny sighed before chuckling a small bit. "We'll just have to apologize to him later. Besides, he's always wanted to have a harem of girls chasing after him."
I just hope Tucker can survive that harem of girls.
FireSoulKid: DarkFoxKit 'Hamsuke': I try to put in details, though they're not always my strong suit. Ever since Onyx started helping out, it's been easier to add in the details.
Darkzdragon 'Onyx': *Gives a tired thumbs up* You're welcome.
Luna Lillyth: DarkFoxKit 'Hamsuke': There are some fictitious worlds where humans have things like magic or creatures they command by their side, but otherwise, it's a little difficult to use humans with special abilities without them being called a freak or something else. Although with Andy, when he was human in My Brother's a Ghost, was able to handle himself pretty well. Originally I was just going to follow the plot but with my own twists and changes like I did with My Brother's a Ghost, but Onyx here prefers to change the plot more. Not saying I dislike it though, it does make it easier to write up original plots than rewriting one that already exists.
Darkzdragon 'Onyx': We will still honor canon to the best of our abilities, but we don't want to make it feel like it's a 'Danny Phantom + a twin' story. The fact that we're adding more original plot and rewriting, while still basing them off the canon episodes, allows it to make it seem like it's a 'phantom brothers' story. Where we are giving time to both Danny and Andy instead of just having Andy tag along with whatever Danny is doing.
Raidentensho: Darkzdragon 'Onyx': While the idea of having one of the mean girls sign up Sam is interesting, it wouldn't make sense. Yes, it would embarrass Sam or make her look different, but it would also give the mean girls more of a competition which they wouldn't want. At most, they'd probably make comments at Sam saying how she would never be able to do a competition like that as she's 'so ugly' or whatever they would say.
DarkFoxKit 'Hamsuke': Danny does fit the whole knight in shining armor type of guy. Andy will… you'll see what he'll be going as. Andy's not usually one for drawing attention to himself. You've got some interesting ideas for what could happen in the story, though we won't say if they'll happen or not.
Mana: Darkzdragon 'Onyx': It was honestly interesting to come up with a lot of the ideas for the chapter like the whole don't try to bribe the judges thing and making it less bias. My favorite thing to come up with last chapter was the currency system. I did remember the bounties idea from the episode you mentioned and thought 'perhaps there would be a currency and safe zones in the ghost zone'. Considering what was going on in the story at the time, it made more sense that Aragon was a prince who was trying to be made king by marrying someone.
DarkFoxKit 'Hamsuke': I never really thought about the whole money thing in the Ghost Zone until you brought that up, mostly because I rarely ever watched that episode, Boxed Up Fury I think it was called? It's not an episode I like too much. It's a shame that in the show you don't really see how Tucker or Danny got into the castle, they just kinda grabbed Sam and showed that they were in disguise as guards. We're hoping to fix all that, and make it more alive and exciting.
Anime lover 3593: DarkFoxKit 'Hamsuke': Yeah, I always questioned why there was only one judge for the beauty pageant, there's a reason why there's usually three or more in real life, it's so there wouldn't be any biased judgements.
Well, Andy would certainly not be too happy about wearing a dress. XP
Darkzdragon 'Onyx': *Yawns* You're welcome for the support.
DarkFoxKit 'Hamsuke': Yeah, Sam isn't going to be too happy about the idea, but she would know she would have to in order to protect the other girls from Aragon. I'm glad you agree with me about the whole 'why is Sam taking part of it if she hated it so much?' bit. Guess that was just how Butch wanted to handle Sam in the episode.
Darkzdragon 'Onyx': Or how Nickelodeon wanted Butch to handle Sam in the episode.
