DarkFoxKit: So… how was breakfast with Aragon?

Darkzdragon 'Onyx': Interesting to say the least. I was invited to partake in some dreadful sounding royal activities. My answer 'nah'. I want to get through this as quickly as possible so we can get home.

DarkFoxKit: *Chuckles* Well don't worry, we only have a few days left until the protagonists… *Whispers*

Darkzdragon 'Onyx': Watch the spoilers, Fox. I know that we'll only be here for a few more days, but those few days will feel like a week or two to me.

DarkFoxKit: Hey, maybe I can help you pass the time. We could disguise ourselves, then go out and enjoy some of the activities.

Darkzdragon 'Onyx': Nah… I think we'll just stay here and start dismantling the stuff we don't want to leave behind but don't need. I'd rather not risk someone seeing through our disguises and I want to be ready to go the instant there's a chance.

DarkFoxKit: Well fine, you can stay here and do all that boring stuff. I'm going out there and have some fun.

Darkzdragon 'Onyx': *Smiles before walking over and picking up Fox* You want to have some fun, eh?~ Then perhaps I can go through the wardrobe and see what looks good on you. Make you my little fox dolly~

DarkFoxKit: Onyx, don't you dare!

Darkzdragon 'Onyx': Oh? You want me to put you in the girliest, frilliest outfits I can find?~

DarkFoxKit: ONYYYYYYYYX!

Darkzdragon 'Onyx': Oooh, perhaps I can ask Dora for some curlers and things like that to make your fur super pretty~

Andy: *Was secretly watching before closing the door* I am not getting involved with that. In fact… I think I'm going to go out of my way and forget what I saw…

Chapter 69: A World Trapped in Time

I had to keep my head low as I followed Juliette, Scarlet, and Danny outside of the castle. Tucker walked beside me, also keeping his head low. I noticed several other ghosts were floating and walking their way outside of the castle as well, many of them were talking to each other, though it all sounded like background noise to me.

When we finally came out of the castle, I looked up a little to see what was around us. I could see a lot of ghosts that were moving around, talking, shopping, having kids flying around. I smiled a little, it was like being in a busy town in our world. Of course, it was darker here. Looking up, I noticed that green clouds had covered the sky of the domain.

"Is there anywhere you wish to go first, Princess Juliette?" Scarlet spoke up.

"I have no particular destination in mind at this moment, for now I simply wish to walk around," Juliette replied in a formal tone.

"If you have nowhere in mind, then may I make a suggestion, Princess Juliette?" Scarlet asked in response.

"Please, go ahead," Juliette answered.

"I think it might be a good idea to have the servants look around at the wares of the domain in order to see if there is anything of particular worth that we may be interested in trading for," Scarlet suggested.

"An excellent idea!" Juliette smiled before she turned around to face Tucker and I. "Servants, I would like for you to explore the area and take a look at what there is to offer that may be of worth to my domain. Squire, if you wish to join them, then you may. My knight and I shall be back here in two hours, I expect you to return to me then."

"Thank you, Princess Juliette," Both Danny and I said as we bowed our heads.

"We'll be sure to return by then, Princess Juliette," Tucker added as he bowed his head as well.

"Good." Juliette nodded.

"Remember that you are still servants of Princess Juliette and that your actions may impact how she is seen!" Scarlet stated firmly. "Do not act in any way that may mar Princess Juliette's reputation!"

"Yes, royal knight Scarlet," Tucker, Danny, and I responded.

After Juliette and Scarlet left us alone, Danny looked around for a few seconds before turning to us. "Wow, I never thought I'd see an actual town with ghosts acting like people in the Ghost Zone. It's actually really cool. The closest I've gotten was that safezone market that we went to."

"Yeah, it shows that ghosts are people too," Tucker remarked.

"Not to mention it looks like we ended up going back in time to the dark ages," I commented. "Doesn't this kind of look like the place you'd go to in a video game with a medieval setting?"

"It certainly does." Tucker smiled. "And the best thing to do in a situation like this is to gather information from the townspeople."

"Right. So, are we splitting up or sticking together?" Danny asked.

"We'll be able to cover more ground if we split up," I answered. "It'll also make us look less suspicious to not always stick together."

"Got it, then we'll meet up back here in 2 hours," Danny stated.

"We should try to be back before then," Tucker recommended. "There are no working clocks in this world and it's easy to lose track of time."

"Good point, we only have our own sense of time to rely on." I frowned. "We'll try our best to meet back here before 2 hours then. And if you run into anyone important, don't interact with them unless you absolutely have to, and even then, try to keep it to a minimum."

Danny and Tucker both nodded in agreement before the three of us went our separate ways.

As I walked around the town, I ended up enjoying the area and the festivities. The ghosts were having a good time. There were stands as shops, selling things like meat, fruit, whine, and some trinkets that most would find in a medieval time like this. I found most of it intriguing. If I had the currency, I would've been tempted to buy at least one or two things here. I chuckled a little when some of the children ghosts flew around me, one of the kids using me as a shield from her chaser. It was easy to see they were playing tag, or a game similar to tag. The kids were laughing and giggling, before the ghost kid finally flew away and their chaser went after them.

As I walked around the town some more, checking out some of the activities, I saw some of the knights firing arrows at targets. I watched as some of them created their own arrows with their plasma energy. While I was watching, however, a conversation from two aristocrat ghost girls caught my attention when they mentioned the word 'halfa'. They were close by, so it was easy to listen in on them while pretending I was watching the competition.

"-halfas might try to come here to find that human girl," The ghost girl on the right gossiped.

"Do you really think the halfas would try to crash the wedding of Prince Aragon?" The girl on the left asked. "I mean… yeah, they took on Pariah Dark and all those, but I doubt they would anger a dragon."

"I've heard that at least one of the halfas actually fought with Princess Dorathea while she was on a rampage before," The girl on the right remarked. "I don't think they'll care if Prince Aragon is a dragon. They seem to be obsessed with protecting humans. We might just be inviting disaster here if Prince Aragon goes through with this marriage."

"Keep your voice down!" The girl on the left hissed. "And while the halfas may have fought with one dragon before, I doubt the halfas have dealt with an entire army at one time. Besides, Prince Aragon would easily be able to dispatch any threat."

"You're right… I just can't help but be a little concerned. I just hope the halfas stay away from this domain, maybe they don't know where the human girl is," The girl on the right stated softly.

From their conversation, I realized that Danny and me were infamous around here. It made me wonder how many ghosts here were worried about us coming here to try to rescue Sam, but didn't want to say anything. I had never personally fought with a dragon ghost before, but after having seen how tough Dora was in her dragon form, I didn't doubt they'd be extremely tough. Scarlet herself seemed excited at the idea of battling a dragon ghost.

A faint memory nagged at me. I frowned to myself as I remembered wearing Dora's amulet at one point, during the freshman prom. I couldn't remember if I turned into a dragon or not, but I had a feeling that I did, since I remember lying in the football field with no memory of how I got there, and Danny standing over me. I shook my head a little. That didn't matter anymore, it was in the past, right now I had to focus on the present plan of finding anything that could help to rescue Sam.

I wondered if they had anything like a theater in the medieval times. I was curious to see if they had a big stage with actors. I stopped when I saw white in the corner of my eye. Bright white was a rare sight in the Ghost Zone, so I looked over to see Juliette standing at one of the stands. Curious, I walked over to Juliette to see what she was doing.

"Oh, are you done looking around, Andriu?" Juliette questioned, using a medieval form of my name that we had come up with together.

"I was still looking around when I caught sight of you, my Princess," I answered. "I was curious to see what you were doing. I hope that is alright."

"That is perfectly acceptable." Juliette smiled. "Royal knight Scarlet is a few stalls down looking at weaponry and armor that may be beneficial to us. As for what I am doing, I am simply perusing some of the local fashion pieces."

Juliette motioned her hand towards the stand which had a variety of jewelry arranged on it.

"Any of those pieces of jewelry would be lucky to be worn by you, Princess Juliette," I remarked, believing that was what a loyal servant would say.

Juliette gave a smile at that. "Some of these pieces are quite interesting."

"Then perhaps I shall give them to you when we officiate the alliance between our two domains." A familiar male voice commented from behind us.

I almost gave a jump, but thankfully kept my composure, and my head down. Juliette and I turned to the voice. I immediately recognized Aragon. I didn't look up directly at Aragon since I had to keep my head down, but I knew he was looking at us with interest.

"How has your stay been in my kingdom so far, Princess Juliette?" Aragon questioned in a gentleman's tone. "Has anyone given you any trouble?"

"I have had no trouble during my short time here," Juliette assured. "As for how my stay has been, so far it has been nothing short of excellent."

"I'm very glad to hear there, Princess Juliette," Aragon stated. "I'm terribly sorry to have to ask this, but would you mind lending me your servant for a little while?"

I almost felt my blood go cold at that. What would Aragon want with me? Did I do something suspicious?

"I would not mind, but only on the condition that I know what it is you wish from my servant," Juliette responded.

"I can easily comply with that condition," Aragon chuckled. "I would like to have a conversation with your servant and ask him some questions about your kingdom that only your servants would be capable of answering. You can lend me either of your servants, but this one is right here, so it would be easiest to simply lend him to me."

I had no idea how I was supposed to answer those questions, since I knew very little of Juliette's actual kingdom when she was alive. I tried not to look nervous or speak up, but I didn't like where this was going.

"I see," Juliette acknowledged. "Well then, I shall lend you my servant for now, but I should inform you that the two servants I brought with me are my newest ones. As such, they know very little of the going ons of my kingdom. I ask you to go easy on my servant as he may not be able to answer many of your questions. For the questions he is unable to answer, you may ask me or my royal knight and we will answer them to the best of our abilities."

"Yes, of course, I won't ask much from him," Aragon promised. "If that is all, I will borrow your servant now."

I looked at Juliette.

"I also ask that you only keep him for a few hours at maximum," Juliette added.

"I shouldn't need him any longer than that," Aragon assured.

Juliette then looked over at me. "Andriu, you are to accompany Prince Aragon for now and answer any and all questions to the best of your abilities. If you are unable to answer or feel that Scarlet or I should be the ones to answer, then simply state such."

"... Yes, my Princess," I answered with hesitation.

I walked over to Aragon. Aragon began walking towards the castle, and I followed him. I didn't like being away from any of my allies, and I especially didn't like that I was alone with the Prince of all people here. I knew I needed to keep a cool head, however, and just act as small and harmless as possible.

"I assume this is your first time with a royal that is not your Princess," Aragon broke the silence. "You seem a bit more… on edge than you were when you were beside Princess Juliette."

"It is my first time, Prince Aragon," I confirmed. Not really though, I was with your sister before, but you don't need to know that.

"I do have to say, you have a quite unlucky appearance," Aragon stated. "By no means should you take that as an insult. I simply mean you look very similar to the two halfa ghosts that have been causing so much trouble within the Ghost Zone."

"Do I?" I sweated a little, but kept my head down. "I suppose that is unfortunate."

"I know you aren't either of them as they would never lower themselves to being servants, they are much too headstrong and naive," Aragon commented.

I decided not to make a comment to that.

Aragon and I walked into the castle. I wondered where Aragon was taking me. It was likely Aragon might take me to his private room to ask me questions.

"Tell me, have you ever had any experiences with a dragon?" Aragon inquired.

That was out of the blue. I frowned to myself. I mean what does that have to do with Juliette? Still, maybe it's best I don't lie about that one. "I've had a few experience with dragons before, Prince Aragon."

"I ask because I can sense that you have been marked by a dragon," Aragon informed.

I couldn't help but raise an eyebrow. "Um… I… I apologize, but I do not understand what you mean, Prince Aragon. I don't remember a dragon marking me." Did Dora mark me without me realizing it at one point?

"There is an energy infused inside of you that could've only come from either my sister or myself," Aragon explained. "It is the energy of the Amulets of Aragon. Either my sister may have left her mark on you at one point or you somehow got into contact with her Amulet of Aragon when she misplaced it."

My eyes widened at this. I certainly did remember wearing Dora's Amulet of Aragon a while back, when it got stuck on me.

"O-oh…" I wasn't sure what to say. Should I lie? Should I tell the truth? Should I not say anything at all?

"Did you ever run into a light blue dragoness of two shades of light blue?" Aragon asked. "Red eyes, green horns and ears, and an amulet around her neck similar to my own?"

I didn't want to get Dora into trouble, but lying wasn't going to work now. Aragon somehow sensed I used the amulet before, so I needed to come up with an answer that wouldn't get Dora or myself in hot water.

"If you don't remember, then perhaps I should take you to her to try and help you remember if you have," Aragon offered after a few moments.

That's right, Aragon must know that not everyone can control or remember turning into a dragon while using the amulet. I realized. That or he thinks it's been so long ago for me that I don't remember her. Either way, this is my ticket to finally getting in contact with Dora.

Trying not to seem too happy or excited, I gave my answer. "It might help, Prince Aragon, if that is what you want."

Aragon nodded slightly and took a sudden left down one of the halls.

I quickly followed Aragon, keeping my head low and my face neutral, but inwardly I was glad that Aragon was leading me to where I needed to go.

Before long, Aragon stopped in front of a door. I stood behind him, knowing that as a servant, I should always stand behind a royal unless instructed otherwise.

"Dorathea, are you in there?!" Aragon called out before he knocked.

"What do you want, Aragon?" I heard Dora's voice ask in annoyance. "I'm busy preparing for the wedding and your bride."

"I have a servant here belonging to Princess Juliette who you may have had a run in with," Aragon explained. "He has a mark of a dragon using the Amulet of Aragon. Either you marked him at some point in the past… or during one of the times where you lost your Amulet of Aragon, this servant found it, put it on, and was marked that way."

"I never lost my Amulet. I only 'lose' it when it's necessary," Dora stated. "Who is this servant? Allow me to see him."

"Does that mean I have permission to enter?" Aragon questioned.

I couldn't see what Dora was doing, but I could imagine an annoyed look on her face when Aragon asked this.

"Fine, but only until we get this straightened out," Dora finally responded.

Aragon reached forward and pushed the door open. "We are entering."

Aragon walked inside first before I followed him into, what I assumed to be, Dora's room. It looked like an ordinary bedroom, one that was set back in the medieval ages, there was a bed here at least. I soon locked eyes with Dora's red eyes. She looked at me, though I couldn't tell what her expression was. I wasn't sure if she was happy to see me, worried that I was with Aragon, or if it was something else.

"Do either of you remember each other?" Aragon inquired.

Dora gave a thoughtful look. "He… does look somewhat familiar."

I hesitated a little. "She… does look like someone I may have seen before."

"Hmm…" Dora mumbled before she looked like she was suddenly remembered something. "Now I remember! One of the few times I did actually misplace my Amulet of Aragon, I had to recover it from this boy who had unfortunately put it on. Thankfully I stopped him before he went on a rampage of some kind."

"I see," Aragon responded. "That would explain why the servant did not remember."

I knew Dora said this as a cover story. I turned my head a little to Aragon, but made sure to keep it low. "So what does that mean for me, Prince Aragon?"

"Well, consider your mark is still around, it could mean quite a few things," Aragon stated. "Your mark would've disappeared after a few hours or days if you didn't have a certain potential within you."

Dora gave a small frown at that. "Brother, surely you are not thinking about that."

"I am indeed thinking about it, Dorathea," Aragon responded. "The fact that the mark is still within him means he has a unique potential to become one of us, a ghost dragon."

I blinked, not sure if what I was hearing was correct. Did he say I could become a ghost dragon?

Dora looked worried about what Aragon said. "But he is only a servant. A servant to another kingdom. There hasn't been another ghost dragon in our kingdom for eons."

"While he may be a servant now, his potential is much more than that," Aragon replied. "As for him being the servant to another kingdom, this possibility could only create a stronger bond between our kingdoms. I am sure Princess Juliette would be more than willing to let us help one of her servants reach his maximum potential. It would also be a good idea to increase our numbers again as the number of ghost dragons has dwindled over the eons."

"That is something we will have to discuss with Princess Juliette before we start making any plans for the servant," Dora stated. "Brother, I would like to borrow the servant for a little while. Since it was my amulet that marked him, I must discuss the consequences that comes with it to him."

Aragon gave a nod. "I think I should save my questions for Princess Juliette anyways."

"I will bring the servant back to Princess Juliette once I am done with him," Dora said.

"Make sure not to take too long," Aragon remarked. "I promised that I would return the servant to Princess Juliette within a couple hours."

"I will," Dora promised.

Aragon walked past me. "You stay here with Dorathea. You two have much to discuss."

I watched as Aragon walked out of the door, and Dora closed it. She turned her attention to me.

"Andy, I'm glad you made it here, but I didn't expect the mark to still be lingering inside you," Dora admitted.

I blinked, raising my head.

"You do not need to worry, Andy, you can speak freely here," Dora assured, seeing my hesitance.

"I don't get it, that amulet marked me?" I questioned.

Dora nodded. "Yes. The Amulets of Aragon have a unique energy to them. Whenever someone wears one, it marks them. In most case the mark dissipates soon after the Amulet has been removed. But in some cases, the mark will stay around. With my brother and I, the mark will always stay around as it is a sign that we are ghost dragons and worthy of wearing the Amulets. In your case… it could mean that you have the potential within you to become a ghost dragon."

"But that was months ago, practically a year now. I didn't even have ghost powers back then." I frowned.

"It doesn't matter whether you're ghost, human, or something in-between. If you have the potential, the mark will stay," Dora explained. "I should've checked if the mark was still there, but so much had happened since then. I assumed that the mark had went away."

"You didn't notice it when we met?" I asked.

"It's hard to notice my own energy. Aragon noticed it because it was my unique amulet energy coming from you," Dora answered. "It's like when you're near Danny all the time, your ghost sense don't pick up on him because you're so used to being around his ghostly energy."

I nodded. "Then… is there any way for you to get rid of the mark and say that it was just a fluke or something?"

Dora sighed and shook her head. "No, there is no way to do either. There is no way that the mark could be a fluke, and there is no way to remove the mark. Though you don't have much to worry about as only Aragon and I would ever be able to notice the mark. Well… Clockwork might notice but that's because he's unique."

"I see… well, I suppose it's nothing to really worry about then. When we get the plan set in motion, we won't have to worry about what Aragon will do," I stated. "But what is the plan? We managed to get Sam here. Danny, Tucker, and I are here, though we did bring in some friends. But what happens now? Are we supposed to wait until the wedding?"

"I need to get my brother to take off his mask and show who he really is in front of the kingdom," Dora answered. "The kingdom will never accept me as queen if they believe Aragon should rule."

I gave a nod. "Yeah, he didn't seem like a bad person so far. He's treated everyone fair and kind, it would be difficult to be against someone like that. But how would we get him to show his true colors?"

"Well… my brother has an awful temper, once he goes on a rampage, it's difficult to stop him," Dora remarked. "But he wouldn't let himself lose it so easily in front of the kingdom, especially on his wedding day. He also expects everything to go perfectly."

I gave what Dora said some thought. "Oh really? In that case, it seems to me the best way to get him to lose his temper is to make absolutely sure nothing goes his way on the wedding day."

"That was my idea as well," Dora agreed. "Put in slight last minute changes that wouldn't be brought to Aragon's attention, perhaps have Sam act in a very unfitting way, and if that doesn't work, perhaps I could bring up Mother and Father and mention how if they hadn't disappeared, they would enjoy the celebration. My brother hates it whenever I bring them up. The only problem is that when he finally loses it, he'll transform into a dragon. His dragon form is really powerful, even I wouldn't be able to fight back in my own dragon form."

"I see, that's probably why you had us to come help you," I stated.

"That's right. If I challenged my brother alone, I will be finished quickly," Dora sighed. "The best thing I can do is turn the kingdom against him, and hope they'll want to overthrow him before he goes on a rampage. Even then that's risky."

I nodded. "I'm sure we'll be able to take him if it comes down to it. By the way, where is Sam?"

"I appreciate the optimism," Dora responded. "As for Sam, she is in the room directly to the left of mine when you are facing my door from the hallway. Though it won't currently be easy for you to get inside as the door is currently being guarded. The earliest opportunity would be during the sporting event planned for this afternoon. Almost all of the castle guard will be there, those left in the castle will be on patrol."

"I see… so the easiest way to even talk to Sam right now is through you?" I asked. "I heard some people say that you're getting 'the bride' ready for the wedding, so I assume that means you're able to talk to Sam, right?"

"That is correct," Dora confirmed. "I am currently the one who is in contact with Sam the most."

"Then in that case, could you tell her that we're here? And how to sabotage her own wedding with Aragon?" I asked. "Maybe give her an update on our situation, that we're currently undercover so she wouldn't try to look for us."

Dora gave a nod. "I was planning on filling her in more tonight. And she is already a part of the plan if you remember, she won't look for you unless that's the best course of action. I will inform her of the current state of the plan."

"Okay. How would we contact you again if we need to?" I asked.

"Your 'Princess', Juliette if I remember right, can request a meeting with me at any time," Dora answered. "Oh, and just in case you don't know, the wedding is to be held tomorrow in the afternoon, somewhere around 3 or 4."

"Kind of hard to tell the time in a place where time is frozen," I chuckled sheepishly. "But thanks, we'll be sure to attend there and watch the chaos unfold."

Dora nodded. "If there's nothing else, I should take you back to Juliette now before she becomes worried."

"Okay. But there is one more question," I spoke up. "I saw an odd dragoness and a talking fox around the castle. They didn't seem to be ghosts, so what and who are they?"

Dora gave a nervous chuckle. "They are ghosts, they're just wearing cursed objects like you, so it keeps their aura hidden. And don't worry about them, they're just more guests."

I raised an eyebrow, but eventually gave a shrug. "I guess it really isn't any of my business."

"They most likely won't show their face all that often either, so they won't get in the way of any of our plans," Dora added.

Maybe I shouldn't think about them too much. There's just something about them that seemed familiar though… I sighed. "Well, whatever, let's get out of here. I don't want my friends to worry about me."

I followed Dora out of the castle, staying behind her and keeping my head down, going back to my servant role. When we made it outside, I heard Danny's voice.

"There he is!"

"Keep your voice down, squire Daniel," Scarlet scolded.

"Sorry, royal knight Scarlet…" Danny sheepishly apologized.

"Are you Princess Juliette?" Dora asked when she stopped in front of Juliette.

"Yes, that is Princess Juliette," Scarlet answered before Juliette raised a white, furry hand.

"I can speak for myself in this moment, royal knight Scarlet," Juliette said. "Yes, I am Princess Juliette. May I inquire as to who you are and why you are accompanying my servant when I had temporarily given him to Aragon?"

"I am Princess Dorathea, I am Crown Prince Aragon's sister. He came to me with your servant, and allowed me to bring him back to you, Princess Juliette," Dora answered. "I trust that is not a problem, yes?"

Juliette shook her head a little and smiled. "That is perfectly fine, Princess Dorathea."

"You may go back to your Princess, young servant," Dora said to me.

"Thank you, Princess Dorathea," I gratefully stated before I walked over to Juliette and stood behind her, standing beside Tucker.

"I will be taking my leave now, I hope you will enjoy yourselves," Dora remarked before she gave a small bow and walked away.

As soon as Dora walked away, all of my friends' attention were on me.

"Are you alright, Andriu?" Juliette inquired. "Did everything go fine with Prince Aragon? You weren't gone for as long as I was expecting."

"I'm fine, Princess," I stated. "Prince Aragon apparently sensed that I was marked by Princess Dorathea's Amulet of Aragon, so he brought me to Dora- Princess Dorathea to confirm this."

Juliette gave a nod at that. "I see, did he ask you any questions regarding my kingdom? Or was the sole conversation about the mark Prince Aragon sensed upon you?"

"You were marked?" Danny asked in concern.

"Are you okay?" Tucker questioned, also in concern.

"I'm fine," I assured Danny and Tucker. "The mark was something that happened when I wore Princess Dorathea's amulet. Prince Aragon didn't ask me any questions about your kingdom, Princess Juliette, he said he will ask you about it on a later date. I was able to speak with Princess Dorathea, and we had a discussion about the mark, about what to do on the wedding day, and the bride's current state."

"This probably isn't something we should speak of out in the open," Scarlet pointed out suddenly. "This is a conversation that would be best had in private. I am sure Princess Juliette would prefer to speak about such a subject in a secluded setting."

Juliette gave a nod to that. "Let us head back to my room and we will speak there."

Everyone agreed to that, and we followed Juliette back to the castle in order of ranking once again.

When we were in Juliette's room, Tucker closed the door behind us. When we were sure we were alone, we were able to speak freely.

"What did Dora say about Sam?" Danny asked.

"Sam is fine, Danny," I reassured him. "Dora is supposedly getting her ready for the wedding tomorrow. It'll be around 3 or 4 in the afternoon according to Dora. However, Dora's plan is to show Aragon's true colors to the kingdom, likely on the wedding day."

"Most likely at the schedule banquet before the ceremony," Juliette guessed.

"Aren't wedding banquets usually held after the ceremony?" Tucker asked, raising an eyebrow.

"In the current day and age, yes," Juliette answered. "However, in certain points in history, royals chose to have the banquet beforehand. The reason behind that is the guests would be filled and would be less likely to fidget or want to excuse themselves during the ceremony. It also was a way to avoid the guests leaving before the banquet had even started as some royals only really wanted to come for the ceremony in order to be seen socializing with the bride and groom."

"I'm all for that." Tucker smiled.

"So how are we going to show what Aragon's really like?" Danny questioned.

"It sounded like Dora was taking care of most of plan A while we're here as a plan B," I responded. "She knows her brother and how he'll react. The problem is the risks that comes with it. Dora knows she can't fight her brother head on, that's why we're here."

Scarlet chuckled at that. "I've been hoping to take on a considerably strong enemy."

"From what I've been hearing while we were in town, people are worried that we'll be crashing the wedding," Danny stated.

"Oh, so you've been hearing it too?" I asked, looking at my brother.

"It was kind of hard not to, a lot of ghosts were talking about it," Danny sheepishly remarked. "I guess we did become sort of famous around here, huh?"

"You are both fairly known around the Ghost Zone, not just this domain," Scarlet informed.

"That's what happens when you fight with a lot of ghosts," Tucker chuckled.

"I suppose if Dora's plan didn't work, then us showing up would definitely do the trick," I said. "Nobody seems to want to bring up the potential threats of the halfas to Aragon, likely because they fear his wrath."

"That is an accurate guess," Juliette agreed. "Now, did Dora say anything about you making contact with Sam? Or will Dora be letting Sam know that everyone is here?"

"The latter," I answered. "Sam won't be able to get in touch with us very easily due to the guards being around her all the time. You, as Princess Juliette, could ask for an audience, but that would make it suspicious. Dora did mention a timeslot where we can possibly get to Sam, and that would be during the sporting event this afternoon. None of the guards will be strictly guarding Sam's room then, though there will still be guards patrolling."

"That does seem like a good time to get to Sam." Danny nodded. "But wouldn't it seem weird if we all go to her room at the same time?"

"Danny's right, it would be best if only one or two of us go to her," Scarlet agreed.

"Danny, you should go to Sam," I said as I looked at Danny. "You need to see with your own eyes that she's okay. I know you've been worried about her since that vision."

"I think it would be better if you or Tucker went, Andy," Juliette responded. "Guards are less likely to wonder about a servant moving around the castle during the time a sporting event is happened than they are to wonder about a squire. After all, all squires are to attend the sporting event in hopes that they learn something new that they had never seen before."

"Perhaps Danny and Andy could switch outfits?" Tucker suggested. "Danny could wear Andy's servant uniforms and go talk to Sam while Andy fills in as squire. That is, if Danny would prefer to be the one to go see Sam or if Andy thinks it would be better if Danny went."

"I suppose switching between these two wouldn't be an issue," Scarlet remarked, looking between me and Danny. "Considering how identical they look, I doubt anyone would notice something was off."

"If that's alright with Danny," I spoke up. "You'd have to act like a servant though, would you be okay with that?"

Danny nodded. "Yeah. Do you think you can act like a squire?"

"I'll certainly try my best," I chuckled. "When you get back, we'll switch back."

"I'll make sure the armor is sitting right on you after you switch outfits," Scarlet chimed in. "In the meantime, we have a few hours to kill before the sporting event starts, so you two can keep on your current outfits for now."

"Great, so does that mean we can go back out and explore some more?" Tucker asked. "I'd like to try some of their meat."

Juliette chuckled and nodded. "Yes, we can go back out, there are some things I was considering buying while we were out there."

I was looking at myself in the mirror, and tugged a little bit on the leather. I had my cursed watch hidden under the armor I was currently wearing.

"Wow, looking good, bro," Danny complimented.

Danny was wearing the servant clothing I wore, though it didn't seem to fit him as well as the armor did.

"You sure? I feel a little silly…" I admitted.

"Better a squire than a princess~" Danny chuckled.

"Juliette makes a better princess anyways," I remarked.

"While you may feel silly, you definitely look like you're a squire," Danny responded.

"Great, now if only I knew how to use a sword and a shield," I chuckled. "Well, at least you look like a servant. This should get you into Sam's room without too much trouble, just try not to get caught."

Danny gave a nod. "I'll make sure nobody is around when I enter."

Danny and I walked out of the room we were using to change. Juliette, Scarlet, and Tucker all looked at us. Juliette and Scarlet both blinked, probably trying to figure out if we actually switched our clothes.

"Hey, looking good, both of you," Tucker gave us the thumbs up.

"This plan is definitely going to work," Juliette commented. "If Scarlet and I are unable to tell the difference, there is no way anyone who has only seen you two a few times will be able to tell."

"Just be careful around Aragon," I warned. "He might be able to tell if he doesn't sense you have the amulet mark."

"Same goes for you too, bro. If he sees you and senses the amulet mark, he'll be just as suspicious," Danny pointed out.

I nodded. "I know."

"I very much doubt we will be anywhere near Aragon if the seat placements for breakfast and lunch were any sign," Scarlet remarked.

"The sport event should be starting now," Tucker spoke up. "You better get going, Danny. Just be sure to leave before the event ends or you'll get swarmed by guards."

Danny nodded. "I'll see you all later."

"Be careful Danny, and good luck," I waved before he left.

Anime lover 3593: DarkFoxKit: Yeah, we're adding to what we believe should've or could've happened in the actual episode if they had more than just 22 minutes. Going in disguise made more sense than just crashing the wedding, but Danny and Tucker were actually in disguise in the episode as knights, we just don't see them wearing it until they revealed themselves to Sam, and then screwed up her rescuing due to her tiara. We expanded on that, changed it up a bit since they have ghost allies that are more experience with how medieval royalty works.

Yeah, we thought it was a nice way to transition how Andy sees us, and how we react to him. As for how we'll disappear, you'll have to pay attention to that part since Andy will only vaguely notice we'll be gone.

Yup. King Tuck just felt off in the series. I'm guessing that Butch thought nobody really listened to what Tucker had to say in the series, and so he decided to point that out and amplify it in the episode, but I think he crossed the line between realism and cartoon comedy, which a lot of people don't like too much in the Danny Phantom series. What You Want was a Tucker episode done right, King Tuck is a Tucker episode done wrong in my opinion. So while we are using bases of the episode, we're going to change it to make it fit in a lot better in the series and in this story.

If you want, you could think about stuff like that going on. We want to get going with the plot, so we don't always write every mundane thing that happens. It's also amusing to see what fans will think would happen during these parts.

Jewel moonstone: Darkzdragon 'Onyx': Glad you enjoyed and hope you had a great family reunion. Favorite sound… huh? I've honestly never thought about that before now. I guess my favorite sound, besides music, would have to be hearing the wind blowing through trees.

DarkFoxKit: Honestly I don't know what my favorite sound is, it's not really something I think about very much. I think I like squishy sounds like from something cutting a honeycomb, but that's getting into ASMR territory.

haloguardian452: Darkzdragon 'Onyx': Well the thing is, with the guns Andy will be making, they aren't inherently lethal like real world guns. They shoot out balls of concentrated plasma which can hurt ghosts but are designed to weaken them and knock them out like rubber bullets. Andy by no means wants to seriously injure a ghost, hence why he is fine with the guns he will be making. Due to the fact that Andy is making the guns, he will be able to control the concentration of the plasma in the shots as well as how fast the shots leave the gun.

It's definitely nice to add things that seem more realistic and less cartoony like sneaking in and talking to the servants to try and get information. The episode itself was mostly just 'Danny gets to Aragon's domain, busts in, punches and blasts stuff, cool moment with Dora helping, and then Aragon is defeated'. Personally… that just felt lackluster in all honesty. Sure it was cool, but it could've been done better had the story not been required to fit a 22 minute time slot.

Luna Lillyth: Darkzdragon 'Onyx': It's fine if you don't read the ANs. This is probably one of the few times we'll put ourselves into a story. The main reason we did it is because we had already set up that Fox and I were in Aragon's castle and decided 'why not?'.

Yeah, unlike what TV shows and movies make servants out to be, gossips and know it alls, real servants wouldn't honestly know that much. That especially goes for servants in a strict environment like Aragon's castle. While yes, some servants do gossip from time to time, a lot don't or will only do it in secret. If servants were caught gossiping, they would be facing harsh punishments. Depending on the gossip, the punishment could be as harsh as a death sentence for treasonous thoughts.

Mana: DarkFoxKit: I didn't grow up with Yugioh, I only started getting into it through Yugioh GX that came on every afternoon after I came home from school. I was already in high school by then. Made me regret missing out on the original series. I love the original series though, it was full of mystery, and the music they played was awesome in my opinion. When you're talking about a specific episode, you need to specify what you're talking about, because to us, it looked like you were talking about a Yugioh episode, or the episode we're writing about right now. I only figured out what you're talking about when you began saying Tucker and Hotep Ra.

So in my opinion on the King Tuck episode, I just thought Hotep Ra needed the Pharaoh to bring them into that Ancient Egypt realm, perhaps Hotep Ra can't use the scepter to its fullest potential on his own. Hence why he wanted until the sphinx was complete, he can use the scepter to bring it to life, and have it attack the Pharaoh. Apparently he didn't know that the sphinx would listen to Tucker. But I personally did not like the episode, and that's why we're going to be changing quite a bit of it.

There are a few theories as to why Aragon stopped time, heck, maybe he himself didn't stop time but the domain just froze in time and only Dora knew how to get time moving again. It was never stated that Aragon himself kept time frozen in the episode. Though we did put in our own theories in the story.

The Moonfox Collective: DarkFoxKit: We just did it for fun honestly, since we already had it set up. It'd be a waste to not do anything with it. I'm usually not one for finer details either, that's more of Onyx's job. I'm more into characters and their personalities. If you go back to my earlier chapters of WAP or back to My Brother's a Ghost, you'll probably notice a lack of finer details.
