Biography:

The daughter of killers for hire David Cain and Lady Shiva Wu-San (both also summonable as Assassins). Shiva did not want to have anything to do with the child and left her with her father, who abusively trained her since she was able to walk, in the hopes of turning her into her successor.

While travelling the world, Cain spent years turning Cassandra into a well oiled machine of destruction, and while loving her in his own twisted fashion, this lifestyle was eventually too much for the young woman, who fled into Gotham City during the time it was a 'No Man's Land' broken by an earthquake and abandoned by the United States government. Cassandra was adopted by Barbara Gordon, the former Batgirl now turned into the wheelchair bound computer genius, Oracle. Through Gordon, Cassandra came into contact with Bruce Wayne, the Batman (summonable as an Avenger) who recruited him as his newest operative and turned her from a killer into a heroine.

Class Skills:

Presence Concealment: A

The capacity to annul one's presence, to cloak one's activity. A valuable tool for assassinations, as the killer must not be detected before their grim task is done.

Assassin was an expert at hiding to strike from the shadows even before being trained by Batman, who honed her skills to an incredible level. She can meld with the darkness, aided by the pitch black tones of her costume, and even Servants with the Eye of the Mind skill will have serious problems detecting her until she is too close. She always moves silently and cannot be given away even by her reactions when she is startled by unexpected developments happening around her.

Personal Skills:

Master Pickpocket: C

From a lesser interpretation of her legend, Assassin has little known abilities conducent to the successful perpetration of minor scale theft and larceny. She can take almost anyone's valuables away without being detected, aided by her Presence Concealment, and make a clean escape. This tool is priceless to have in the event a valuable object must be seized, but the Rank is lowered because Assassin, raised away from material wealth, has little discernment on the value of objects and what are the best targets to steal.

Dark Knight Detective: C-

Another area of Batman's training included teachings on crime detection and deductive thinking. While she never was Batman's best disciple in this field, Assassin is a decent enough detective, working best with material clues left at a crime scene, rather than extrapolations and deductions based on human behavior and the observation of subjects.

Even so, her reading of body language easily allows Assassin to tell when others are lying, unless they are excellent at acting and hiding their true intentions. This, too, is a useful resource for these goals.

Martial Artist: A++

Born from two of the most naturally apt martial artists of her era and shaped by one from her earliest childhood, and then subjected to further training by Batman, the original Batgirl, and Deathstroke, Assassin is a peerless hand to hand fighter, a highly efficient martial machine honed to the peak of human capacity. She has a style of her own resulting from assimilating dozens of disciplines and melding them into one. Said style is that of an executioner, surgically precise and valuing the maximum effectiveness of each strike.

In combat she moves like a whirlwind, wasting no move with showboating. She uses techniques from Jeet Kune Do, Ninjutsu and Muay Thai, but in moments of need she also can resort to Capoeira, Karate and Judo, among others. Her aptitude is comparable to that of a metahuman in that regard. Her discipline also makes her highly resistant to pain and nearly tireless.

Caped Crusader: B

While she could fight just as well even while completely naked, assuming the mantle of one of the emissaries of the Batman has added several extra tools to Assassin's arsenal of options. Her bat costume is designed to optimize camouflage, aiding her Presence Concealment without hindering her mobility. Her long cape can be used to glide down from tall jumps, or as a shield to protect herself from bullets. The lenses in her mask grant perfect night vision even at the middle of midnight.

Assassin has her own version of Batman's famous utility belt. In its pouches she holds multiple portable tools including miniature explosive charges, sharp throwing boomerangs shaped like bats, blinding flash grenades, grappling hooks and lines to swing across cities, gas bomb pellets, and binoculars. She is quite apt at the use of all of them.

Noble Phantasm:

To the Death- Fist of the Assassin: C

Similar to Sasaki Kojiro's Tsubame Gaeshi, this is not so much a regular Noble Phantasm as an ultimate fighting technique derived from Assassin's obsessive training. It is not a particularly fancy or spectacular attack, but a lightning fast combination of successive strikes, chained together in a deadly combination, aimed at one vital point after another.

Effectiveness may be highly decreased against opponents of a non-humanoid nature, as Assassin was mostly trained to fight human beings. When pulled off successfully, Assassin moves faster than the human eye can see, and even most Servants will have problems following her motions. A 'dance of death' wrapped by a decisive blow to the throat, crushing the larynx. This was how Assassin killed her first ever victim during her early formative years.
