It was a perfect sunny day in the capital city of Cantorlot Shining Armor Dusk's older brother and captain of the royal guards, was planing to visit to the newly prince of Equestria and his new friends. However he wasn't going alone his bride to be and and his brothers former babysitter,and now ruler of the Crystal empire,was coming along as well. Have a nice time. Shining's mother said. With that he got into the transport. I'm so excited to your see what little Dusky been up to. Yeah me too. Shining told her. I can't believe the five friends he made were girls especially after incident. Well maybe he's finally moving on. Candace told him. Yeah he's really moving on in the world. Though maybe inviting you to come along wasn't a good idea since my bother is now becoming a chick magnet. With that both Candace and Shining laughed as the transport took off. After clearing the clouds Rainbow Dash met with Dusk Shine outside his library. Ready go egghead. Ready as I'll ever be. He responded. Beginning anther day of learning to fly,usually the training would often result in him crushing into the ground, crashing into a tree,or crashing into any other object that was in the area. But today Dusk was doing well as he was able to maintain himself while in the air while fellowing Rainbow across the sky. Not bad Egghead. Dash said to him. Looking around Dusk saw that the buildings and structures were made out cloud material,and noted that the city wasn't too different than those on the ground. Over here Egghead. Dash called to him. This way to the weather factory?Going in Dusk checked out the coming year winter snow flakes. Dash also showed him where they created clouds and rainbows and during their tour three winged males stood in their direction. Well well look who it is boys. Said the one in the middle. Oh no not you guys again. You know these three? Asked Dusk. No well yes but…Rainbow tried to explain. It's been a long time since flight camp Jr Rainbow Crash. Rainbow Crash? Dusk said confused. Oh that's… Dash began to say before being interrupted. Hey look. Said the winged male on the right pointing at Dusk. That's the guy I've been talking about he crashes more often than Dash does. That's Crash. Corrected the wing male on the left. Okay 1. Dusk said to the harassing winged men. I'm new to this flying business and Rainbow here has been teaching me how to fly. Yeah that explains why he's been crashing. Joked the Left winged male. As all three them chuckled. And 2. Dusk said in a more stern tone. Rainbow's is my friend and I would appreciate that you guys would apologize and leave. With that the 3 winged males stared at him holding their breaths till finally they burst out laughing,seeing Rainbow depressed and embarrassed Dusk said. Fine have it your way. As he taped his staff which a hole formed where the three winged men were standing and soon found themselves falling out clouds Dale screaming. Hey what you doing? Asked Rainbow to Dusk. Relax I know what I'm doing. He assured her. The three winged men tried to flap their wings to stop their falling but Dusk's magic spell prevented them from doing so. Once it looked liked they were about to fell to their deaths they stopped,inches from the ground and the next thing the trio knew they started floating back up into clouds Dale. Now hovering above the hole that Dusk's magic created. The winged wizard of Ponyville said to them. Now as I said before apologize to my friend or this time I won't be saving you from what's awaits down below. Alright alright. Said the leader of the trio. We're sorry right boys?Yeah we're sorry. Said the both of them . With that Dusk Released his magic on them as they fell on the clouds surface floor. Let's get out of here. As they flew off. Leaving the factory Rainbow Dash thanked Dusk for what he did. Oh it's no problem. He told her. Say there's one more thing I want show you Dash said to him. What is it? Asked Dusk. Just flap your wings and I'll show you. She told him. Very well. As he fellowed her.
Dash lead him to a dome shape cloud building Here we are. She said to Dusk. When they got to the front door Rainbow was surprised that her door was particularly opened. Not seeing what was wrong and wondering why they stopped Dusk asked her. Is something wrong? Building up with rage Dash shouted. Someone broken Into my home! Huh? He said confused. My door it's open. Oh I'm gonna give them such a thrashing. With this Dusk charged up his staff to prepare to stop the assailant. Inside Dusk notice the huge foyer but concentrating on the matter at hand he asked his female flying friend. Do see anything stolen? No everything Seems to be where it's at. She told him. Well well isn't my old friend. Said a female voice. Both Dash and Dusk turned and looked up to see a mysterious girl on the second floor looking down at them. Though human the girl possessed traits of an eagle her arms covered in brown feathers she wore a light brown jacket along with short white shirt and a pair of blue jeans. Her hair was bleached white with light purple highlight tips. Gilda? Said Rainbow Dash. You know that creature ? Dusk asked her. Using her strong wings Gilda flew down towards them. With that Dusk was standing face to face with the hybrid creature. He saw she wore yellow lipstick on her lips and her feet as he looked down were 4 sharp talons 3 on the front and 1 on the back. He also notice the jeans she wore were custom made to her tail feathers to poke out. It's been a while Rainbow Crash. said Gilda. Instead of taking the nick name as insult Rainbow smiled and said. Gilda you bird brain get over here. As the two of them embraced each other. Dusk confused over this little reunion watched as the two exchanged complements to each other. It's so good to see you. Dash said. Tell me. She said to her friend. Did you use that old break in trick, while we were at Flight camp jr to teach those three bullies a lesson? You know it. Gilda replied. As she explain to her. It must have 7 minutes before you and that other guy got here. I knock profusely on the door before I decided to let myself in and realized you weren't home. Still…. Dusk said. Interrupting their little reunion. It's rude to just break in and make yourself home when the owner is not here. And who are you? Gilda asked him. Some kind of know it all? She said mockingly. Before Dusk could respond Rainbow Dash said her. His name is Dusk and he's a prince. A what? A prince. Dash repeated. Looking at him Gilda said. Well for second there I thought you girl due to your face. She smiled arrogantly. Dusk stared at her with an annoyed face face. Sure he had gotten used to people calling him names but he did not like people comparing him to a girl because of his face. But before he could say anything Rainbow came between them and said to her long time friend. Look Gilda why don't you take a seat while Me and egghead here have a discussion. Whatever. Gilda said as she walked towards the couch. Im really Sorry about that. Rainbow told Dusk. She's real. Huh? He said confused. She's real you know no fake smiles she doesn't pretend to be nice almost like you when you first came to Ponyville. Yeah but when I arrived I didn't exactly insult anyone. And if there's nothing else you can show me I'm off. As he walk out Dash was saddened to see flying away. Good riddance. Said the voice of Gilda. Say you Dash you wanna race like the old times or have you gotten slow. Hearing this Rainbows grief turned into determination she turned head and a cocky smile formed on Her face. Bring it on. She said to her. Outside Gilda pointed to cloud in the distance. Last one to that cloud is a rotten dragons egg. As they position themselves Ready set Go!
