Outside of her home Fluttershy was busy feeding all her animals. It was a task that she herself enjoyed although most of her animals could've gotten food for themselves but they got A custom to being feed by their favorite caretaker. Though Futtershy enjoyed the taking of her animals. There was one part of the routine that she didn't particularly enjoy. Even though most of her animals were herbivores and she herself not was not a meat eater. She have did have animals the were carnivores her bear who was really an omnivore ate some meat, but her otters and ferrets meat lovers. So she caught some fish in the stream by her house and fed them some,but she didn't stay to watch them eat. Once done with that she still had one tough task ahead of her. Which was making sure her bunny Angel was eating enough food before he went off on his daily run. Like all animals Angel was sweet to Fluttershy but as male rabbit he was incredibly stubborn at times. Come on just three said to it when suddenly She heard thunder sounds that was enough for Angel to run back into his den. Now standing and looking up Fluttershy didn't understand why she heard thunder. As no rain or storm was scheduled for today. Still looking at sky Fluttershy heard the rumble of thunder again this time she realized it was behind her. She gasp of what she saw,a cloud of smoke coming from the Equestria Mountains of Canterlot. The Smokey thundering clouds were slowly approaching Ponyville,but with the Equestrian winds they gaining speed with this Fluttershy knew she had to warn the Citizens of Ponyville of what about to be fallen upon them. Using her wings she flew straight to Ponyville and tried to tell everyone about clouds and thunder. After telling them everyone looked at her with wired and one person told her. There's no storm coming it's not even on the schedule. Everyone nodded and agreed and continued about their business. Now looked upon a fool Fluttershy thought of who would actually believe her let alone believe her. And that's though of Dusk. He'll believe me I'm sure of it. She assured herself. As she flew towards his house. Knocking on the door but not in a panic way and after a few seconds the front door opened. Oh hi Fluttershy. Spike greeted as stood in the door way. What's… He started and yelled. HEY! As Fluttershy held him up and asked . Is Dusk here? Yeah he's up stairs. With that Fluttershy said her thank you while putting Spike down and headed up the stairs. I wonder what's up with her? He wondered. In the upstairs Fluttershy saw three door in the short hallway but didn't know which Dusk was in,so she decided to call his name. Dusk. Dusk. Fluttershy is that you? The new prince replied. Turning to her right where she heard him she grabbed the door handle thinking it was just his bedroom but as Dusk was about to tell her. Wait Fluttershy I'm….. As She poked head out the door and with that the animal caretaker realized her mistake. Instead of the Bedroom which she thought she was entering was really the bathroom,which Dusk had already finished a shower. Thankfully he had already had a towel on him but this didn't stop both Dusk and Fluttershy form blushing at each other while now timid Fluttershy said. Oh sorry I'll wait till your ready. With a sigh Dusk quickly dried himself and put on his bath robe and see what Fluttershy wanted. After getting out Spike was standing next to Fluttershy with apologetic look after what happened and said timid voice. I'm sorry I… It's alright. Dusk told her in firm but gentle voice. What happened ? Asked Spike curious. Nothing you need to know. With that Spike rolled his eyes and crossed his arms. So can you tell why you needed to speak to me so urgently? Dusk ask Fluttershy. Oh… yes well uhhh… before she could put a word in all three of them heard a distant thunder noise. Hey big bro is it suppose to storm? Asked Spike. Not that I know. Dusk told him. Oh no it's spreading over Ponyville. Fluttershy said in a panic voice. What's coming? Spike asked her. A storm. She answered. Buts it's nothing I ever seen. What you mean. I saw black smoke clouds coming from the mountains near Canterlot. Anther thunder boom this time it sounded closer. Let's check it out on the observation deck. Dusk told them. Out on the deck the duo were shock to see the black stormy smoke clouds were now rolling over the small town. Oh my… Fluttershy said in concern. Suddenly Spike felt something within him and belch out a letter. What that? Fluttershy asked Dusk. It's from the princess. A knock on the door was heard from below. With anther sigh Dusk told Fluttershy and Spike to see who it was as he went to change his attire.
Down stairs Spike opened the door while Fluttershy took a seat on the couch,wondering what are going to do about the situation going on the sky oand mountain. Outside the door Spike was greeted with a hello from Pinkie Pie. Who stood between Rarity and Apple Dash was also present but seemed annoyed about the current situation that was going on. Spike. Rarity asked him. Is Dusk here. Yeah butt he's upstairs he'll be down once he's dressed. Hearing her friends voices Fluttershy turned her head and stood up. Hi Fluttershy. Pinkie cheerfully greeted her. Howdy Flutters A.J. Said to her. I reckon your here for what's going on outside? Yes Fluttershy replied. I was the first to notice what was going. I saw these smoke clouds coming from the mountains near Canterlot, I tried to warn everyone about them but they didn't believe me so I came here. Dusk and I heard the thundering from the clouds and that's when we got a letter from the princess. The princess? Rarity said. She knows what's going on? Flutttershy nodded,and with that Rarity made a sigh of relief. Well thank heavens, now that she knows hopefully this matter will be solved soon, I have a great many things to done and this storm whatever causing it might hamper my efforts. Yeah blah blah I'm sure whatever you done can wait a little longer. Rainbow mocked Irritating Rarity however before she can speak she along other girls heard footsteps coming down the stairs and voice of Dusk could be heard saying. Well Fluttershy turns out your right these clouds are from that mountain you saw near cantorlot buts it's coming from a… he left the sentence unfinished when saw all 5 girls in his home. So what we're you saying of what was in those mountains egghead? Rainbow asked his throat Dusk answered as read the royal letter. While according to Princess Celestia there's a dragon on the mountain. A DRAGON?! They all said at once. Yes Dusk said to them. As he continued to read. According to the letter the dragon is in the mountain and is asleep and his Fiery breath is what's causing the Smokey clouds above us. But what's causin all thunderin and lighting? Asked Apple Jack. Will as captain of the weather team it's has to do with ice particles. Answered Rainbow dash. Not the ice particles that we have in Clouds Dale but ice particles high in the atmosphere. Though I can go on how the particles create friction which cases the lighting but I wanna know more about that dragon. Are we going to kick its butt? . She asked Dusk. Clearing his throat again Dusk said to her and rest of the girls. Well don't have kick it we just have to wake it and get it to move some place else. Otherwise.. he continued. We're going to experience a new climate shift and a 100 years of darkness. 100 years?! Apple Jack Said abruptly. My crops won't survive without sunlight that long. Then it's agreed. Dusk told them. Lets spend an hour preparing for trip since that dragon is a mountain and numerous things can happen. The girls agreed but Fluttershy was horrified to learn she would have to come face to face with a dragon. You alright? Spike asked her. Looking down at the little imp Fluttershy made the best fake smile she could muster,and replied in a not too frighten voice. I'm fine. With that like rest of the girls she left to her house to prepare but didn't know what to bring. Uh big bro. What is Spike? Do think this a good idea? Well there's no choice. Dusk told his assistant. That dragon is causing a dilemma and we have to deal with it. No. Spike said to him. I meant brining Fluttershy she seemed awfully nervous when you said that all you were going up to confront the dragon. Well… Dusk explained. I'm brining her because she is the most crucial of the group. Crucial? Spike said questionably. said to adopted brother. Do remember when she we first met her and saw that she hug that huge bear I though that was going to attack us? Yeah I remember. Spike told him. Well sense she has the ability to tame a bear let alone a Manticore,which I learned from Pinkie when I was busy dealing with Nightmare Moon. That she has the ability to tame the dragon and get it move elsewhere. You really believe this? Spike asked older brother. With a proud stance and smile on his face Dusk replied. I do. After that the door bell thinking it was one of the girls Dusk opened it only to see the mayor her face was a mix of concern and worry. The thunder outside became more intense as well as the mr Prince Dusk Shine. She greeted. May I come in? Sure. Dusk welcomed her into his home. Thanks for letting me in. She said. I saw the girls well the elements of Harmony leave though,I could've asked them before coming in but I wanted to know for certain what was going on with is weird weather phenomenon? And does the princess know about what's going on? With that replied simply. Of course she knows,all this is being caused by a dragon sleeping in the mountains near Canterlot and me and the girls are going to deal with this issue. With that the mayor took a sigh of relief. After nearly an hour of prepping the girls were ready,and Dusk came down the stairs in the knight armor he was given by Elements, after making what he thought was the right decision. But now Dusk was realizing what pain and suffering was really starting to mean. Oh Dusk that armor really suits you. complemented at his 5 female companions Dusk saw Pinkie,Apple Jack,Rarity,and Fluttershy had back packs full unknown supplies in them. Though Dusk Saw what looked like some sort of instrument inside of Pinkie Pie's back pack. And Rarity looked like she was going to a winter fashion show than a trip up the mountain to wake a sleeping dragon. Rainbow was only going to bring two steel iron gloves on her hands as if she planing on going toe to toe with a full size adult dragon. Though this shouldn't be a surprise,as she once tried to spar off with a nightmare goddess who nearly incinerated her. Apple Jack was the only one who looked like she knew where she was going all packed up and dressed appropriately for the mountain. Fluttershy was the same but she looked Horrified,but at least she'd put in the effort to be here. I see your bringing your sword. Pinkie pointed out. Well we are about encounter a dragon. Dusk told her. Better safe than sorry. So all of you are ready? Dusk ask the girls. Ready. Ready. Ready dear. I was born Ready. Ummm Ready. Fluttershy's said hesitantly. Very well. Suddenly an unexpected door knock. Who could that be? Spike asked brother. Dusk shrugged walk over to the door. Could it be the mayor. He thought. Did she forget to tell me something or is it someone else, but who? He wondered. When he opened the door he was shocked to see who it was,and before he could say anything two arms of the unexpected person wrapped around him in a tight embrace. Dusk! Fluttershy cried out while other girls starred and watched. Princess Luna? Spike said confused of what was going on. It's so good to see you. The younger sister of Celestia said. As she hugged him tightly much to his I see your wearing your knights uniform. Uhhhh. Apple Jack tried to say upon the awkward situation. Hearing A.J's voice Luna looked and realized the 5 girls chosen by the elements were here. she also saw the small imp whom she heard was Dusk's adopted brother was also watching her. With that her cheeks turned red and she released Dusk from her tight grasp causing him to fell to the floor. Trying to ease the awkwardness and tension in air Luna smiled and asked the girls how they were. Neither of one of them said anything though they all wondered what she was doing here at such a time? Rarity however showed annoyance at what the princess of night was doing to her beloved prince. Standing up Spike asked his Dusk if he was alright. Shanking his head he replied he was fine and looked at Luna. What you here? He asked. Well… Luna explained. I heard from my sister that you were going off to face the dragon on top of the mountain so I thought of coming here and an offering to give you and the girls my support. Dusk didn't know what to say. So Apple Jack spoke up and told her. That's very nice that you want to help princess but… Think nothing of it. Luna interrupted. After all the 6 of you had a difficult time defeating my…other self consider this as a repayment for the trouble. The girls were once again the were silent at which Dusk said. Well I suppose more help will be nice. With this Luna smile widely as he continued. After all just trying getting to the dragon will be a difficult task in its self. Excellent. Luna said excitingly. Than I assume everyone is ready? Yup we're ready. Said ready Apple Jack. Yeah ready to kick some dragon butt. Fluttershy hastily nodded Very well as Luna's staff glowed and within an instant all of them teleported away leaving only Spike behind again in the library. Why can't I go anywhere?Spike thought. He sighed and went to his cot.
