DarkFoxKit: Onyyyyyyx, where are you hiding?~ We're looking for you~

Darkzdragon 'Onyx': *Over a speaker system hooked up in the house* Because I don't want to become mindless like the two of you! I'm working on a way to break you free, just hang in there.

Andy: *Still in the kangaroo costume* We're not mindless, we're enlightened. We only want to care and love you, Juliette~

DarkFoxKit: *Was in Andy's pouch, wearing a joey kangaroo costume* Come heeeeere, my sister, we can be loved and cared for together~

Darkzdragon 'Onyx': *Over the speaker* Not your sister and you most definitely aren't enlightened! More like brainwashed!

?: *In the bunker behind Onyx* It looks like you could use some help there, huh Onyx?

Darkzdragon 'Onyx': *Jumps and spins around* Who-

Danny: Hey, Onyx. Thought I'd come for a visit. Then I see a kangaroo and it's joey chasing after you?

Darkzdragon 'Onyx': Oh gosh, Danny… you scared me. Yeah, I could definitely use some help. Andy got a gift from a stranger and now he is brainwashed in a costume and likely brainwashed Fox.

Danny: *Frowns* Do you know who sent that costume? Do you still have the package the costume came in with?

Darkzdragon 'Onyx': The packaging is in Andy's room and there was no listed sender.

Danny: I'm going to check it out. We might get some kind of clue to who or what sent that costume.

Darkzdragon 'Onyx': Just don't you get yourself caught!

Danny: Don't worry, I'll be careful. You just keep their attention focused on you, I doubt they even know I'm here. *Transforms into his ghost form, then turns intangible and invisible before flying out of the bunker*

Andy: What was that? I thought I heard someone else with you, Onyx.

Darkzdragon 'Onyx': It was… Mew, she just popped in to say she and Ash are getting ready.

Andy: For what?

DarkFoxKit: Oh… naughty people, you all should be reading the chapter now. Go on, you don't want to miss what you came here for, now do you?~

Chapter 109: An Envious Ghost Boy

"Where did Tucker and Sam go?" Danny asked when we returned to the Nasty Burger.

I looked around, going inside the Nasrty Burger, then flew back out. "They're not inside the Nasty Burger. Also, it's kinda creepy in there when there's nobody around."

"What, you scared that a ghost is going to sneak up on you in there?~" Danny teased.

"Ha, ha, very funny. Just because you're half ghost doesn't mean things can't still creep you out," I huffed.

Danny gave a thoughtful look. "Considering the two of them evacuated the people inside, they're probably nearby making sure everyone is alright and nobody got hurt."

"Then let's look around," I suggested.

Danny and I flew around the area, and thankfully, it didn't take long to find Tucker and Sam. But they were with someone. It was that boy Sam was talking to earlier. Danny flew beside me, seeing the boy too. It looked like Tucker was having a good time talking to the boy.

"-at dungeon is a bit of a tricky one if I remember right," The boy commented while looking at Tucker. "It makes the player have to face their character's greatest fears and the only way to beat it is to become one with the fear and grab the pendant at the end. It's a bit of a risk though, considering it is probably one of the only dungeons in that game that can permanently kill a character."

"That's so cool! I didn't know you played Dragon Hunt!" Tucker smiled. "I wasn't a big fan of the Ten Trials as that was one of the few questlines with a nearly 75% chance of permadeath for a character. Even equipment that would save against death didn't help as the deaths weren't via directly taken damage."

"They intended for the Ten Trials questline to be extremely dark and challenging," The boy acknowledged. "It was also a reward for those that actually put depth and thought into their character's backstory. If the character was as shallow as a puddle, then the trials would be easy and not very rewarding. But those that put in hours upon hours of crafting their character's life, their fears, their hopes, their goals, and all of that, the more they would get rewarded for completing the trials."

"If you want, Elliot, we could totally go to my place to play Dragon Hunt in HD on a big screen TV." Sam smiled.

"I appreciate the offer, but I'd prefer to watch a horror film or play a dark game," The boy, who Danny and I assumed was Elliot, answered. "I only got to the 5th trial and decided I would give my character a rest before continuing on. While they may be digital, they are alive in their own world and I wouldn't want to push my character to do trial after trial without some rest in between."

"I've got lots of horror movies and dark games too." Sam smiled. "If you ever want to come over, just let me know."

"Would you mind if I shared my number with both of you?" Elliot asked. "I don't often meet people who share common interests with me, so I try to make sure to network with them before I lose them."

"Sure thing!" Tucker grinned.

"Are you okay, bro?" I asked Danny, noticing that he looked a little dejected.

"Uh… yeah," Danny answered as he shook his head a little. "Just a bit surprised Sam is making this new friend so quickly when she has only had us as friends for a while."

"Sam? Well, yeah, I guess. But it looks like Tucker's seeing him as a friend too. How about we go and say hi?" I suggested. "You know… as humans?"

"Yeah, maybe that'd be a good idea," Danny agreed. "See if this Elliot dude shares any common interests with us. At the very least, it sounds like he enjoys video games."

"I'm proud of you, bro." I smiled.

"Hmm? Why?" Danny asked.

"You're not letting jealousy keep you from potentially making a new friend," I answered.

"Why would I be jealous?" Danny questioned. "Elliot is just a new friend of Sam's, that's all. He's totally not a potential love interest that is threatening to snatch Sam away from me or anything."

I looked at Danny, raising an eyebrow. Now I was worried that Danny just wanted to talk to Elliot to keep an eye on him and Sam. "Danny, you're not seriously thinking that guy will take Sam away from you, are you?"

"Is he? You're the one who can see into the future, not me," Danny pointed out.

"I'm starting to worry you're seeing your own kind of future…" I sighed.

"You're probably just imagining things." Danny smiled, though I knew there was more to what Danny was saying than he was actually revealing. "Now let's unghost and head on over."

"Well, it looks like he's already leaving," I pointed out. "Maybe we should wait until school tomorrow to greet him."

Though I was mostly saying this to keep Danny from potentially embarrassing himself in front of Sam.

Danny frowned a bit before sighing. "Fine… fine."

That night, I had trouble sleeping. I was having dreams of Danny being taken away by the Guys in White again, and even worse, that either Corrupted Danny or just Danny with red eyes started attacking Amity Park. I soon woke up in bed, seeing Danny was still sleeping on his bed, and Hope was in my arms.

I let out a bit of a sigh before I slowly got out of bed and walked over to the window, needing some fresh air.

When I opened the window, I closed my eyes as I let the cool breeze blow on me.

"Enjoying the late summer night?~" Hope chuckled.

"A little bit, yeah," I answered back.

"Better enjoy it now before it starts to get chilly," Hope remarked.

I sighed a little as I opened my eyes, then a warm feeling came up from my chest before a dark blue mist came out of my mouth. I frowned, before trying to see what set off of my ghost sense. I saw a small, green blob floating around lazily in the sky.

Where did that come from? I frowned.

I looked back at Danny for a moment, seeing how he hadn't woken up yet. Hmm… well, since it's only a small, weak, and simple ghost, perhaps I can just take care of it quickly so he doesn't have to wake up.

"I'll be back in a minute, Hope, just going to take care of a small ghost," I said to the teddy bear.

"Be careful," Hope warned. "Ghosts like that don't normally go that far from the Ghost Portal, and they usually like to stick to the shadows instead of flying out in the open."

It was concerning as to why this ghost was out in the open then, far away from the Ghost Portal. I transformed into my ghost form as quietly as possible, before flying out through the open window, not needing to go intangible.

I flew up to the blob ghost that had been floating lazily in midair. I got close to it and studied it for a moment. I had never really seen a small blob like this before. It didn't appear to have any facial features, at least none that I could see. Why does it remind me of a giant floating grape? Or maybe a plum?

"Uh… hello? Can you understand me?" I asked the blob.

The blob didn't answer back, nor did it seem to have acknowledged anything I said. It just kept floating lazily. I wasn't even sure if this thing was sentient, or if it could communicate since it had no mouth of its own. Curiously, I poked the blob. It gave a small, surprised squeal, and floated away from my poking finger. Well, it definitely has a voice of some kind since it can squeak.

I held out a hand in front of the blob, it instinctively moved away from it. This fascinated me, bringing the inner scientist out I guess. I wanted to play- err, experiment with the blob a little more. Perhaps if I could find a way to touch it without it panicking or something, I could just take it back to the Ghost Zone with ease. I didn't bring the Fenton Thermos with me, so I would have to find a way to do that anyways. I thought about using telekinesis to hold it, but I wasn't sure how long I'd be able to hold something with telekinesis. Then I thought about trapping it in an ecto ball or something I could make to keep it from floating away while I took it back to the Ghost Portal.

The blob started to fly towards my right, seeming to want to go around me.

I moved my other hand in front of it, making the blob stop. I gathered both of my hands near the blob. It looked to have gone stiff, likely becoming scared. I then created a hollow ecto ball around it, careful not to accidentally zap the poor creature. I smiled when I saw I succeeded in making the hollow ecto ball, keeping the blob inside.

"Alright, let's get you-" I began to say before I suddenly started seeing static for a moment.

I saw two aircrafts coming at me, two Guys in White agents shooting at me. I was taken by surprise, and shot down by one of their ecto lasers, and then captured in an electrified net.

I quickly came out of the vision, frowning, before I quickly looked back. I was glad I did, because I saw the two aircrafts I just saw in my vision seconds ago coming at me, but they were further away, giving me more time to react. I grabbed onto the ecto ball with the blob in it, and quickly flew away. I didn't go down into the city, however, because knowing the Guys in White, they would shoot at me anyways, endangering the citizens and doing property damage. I stayed in the sky, going higher.

The aircrafts were gaining on me. I gritted my teeth as I didn't like how fast their aircrafts were. I flew up into the clouds, hoping to use them to hide.

I heard a voice coming from below the clouds behind and below me. "The bait ghost is moving at speeds higher than it is capable of and seems to be moving in the clouds, which is above its maximum altitude."

"Hmmm… another ghost may have grabbed onto it. Initiate detainment protocol 11 Alpha."

I yelped as an ecto laser barely missed me. They were still trying to shoot at me. I kept flying through the clouds, going invisible in hopes of making it harder for them to see me. I then held onto the ball with one hand, and used the other to create a solid ecto ball and threw it to the other side of the cloud. The Guys in White were likely to see it and go after it thinking it was me. Instead of flying in the opposite direction, I stayed still, trying my best to suppress as much of my ghostly energy as possible, even with the blob and the ecto ball in my hands, I just hoped they were small enough that the agents would ignore it to go after the much brighter, clearly ghostly, ecto ball I just threw.

"Quick, the targets are getting away!"

"Right behind you."

I heard the engines of the aircrafts getting quieter and quieter, until they left my range of hearing. I gave it another minute, before I began flying down into Amity Park as quickly and quietly as possible. I didn't go back home right away, instead, I went to the opera house.

That's the second time the Guys in White appeared after setting out a smaller ghost. What are they doing in town? Are they trying to catch Danny? And maybe me by extension? I'm not sure how popular I am right now in Amity Park, or if some still think I'm a duplicate. But either way, I have to warn Juliette and Scarlet about these Guys in White. I don't want them catching them… or having Scarlet tear into their sorry butts…

When I landed in front of the opera house's back door, I transformed into my human form, hoping that would keep the Guys in White from finding my ecto signature when they realized they were chasing after an ecto ball. I kept holding onto the blob in the hollow ecto ball though, and knocked on the opera house's door.

"Come on in," Scarlet instructed as she answered the door. "Quickly."

I quickly walked through the door, and Scarlet closed it behind me.

"There a reason you captured a blob?" Juliette's voice came from further inside before she walked out onto the stage.

"It was floating not that far away from my house," I answered.

"Are you planning to eat it?" Scarlet asked.

"What? Ew, no! I was just going to take it back to the Ghost Zone, when two agents of the Guys in White tried to ambush me," I quickly explained.

"You shouldn't knock it till you try it." Scarlet grinned.

"Remind me to not be here when you next eat," I grumbled.

"You said two agents of the Guys in White tried to ambush you?" Juliette asked, sounding concerned. "Are you alright?"

"Yeah. Apparently they set out this blob thing as bait to catch a bigger ghost," I answered. "I managed to elude them though."

"Makes sense," Juliette responded. "That's a pretty strong blob, as far as blobs go. Potentially close to growing into a better ghost. It would be seen as a tasty treat to most ghosts, one that would be hard to pass. If the Guys in White used it as bait, they might be trying to go after you or Danny, going on the assumption that you would have the regular mindsets of a ghost. Alternatively… there could be another ghost in this city that has hidden it's presence, one that would go after that kind of bait and be valuable enough to the Guys in White."

I frowned at the possibility of a hidden, dangerous ghost that could be in Amity Park. I didn't like that idea there could be a powerful ghost that we didn't know about in our hometown.

"It's not very likely though," Scarlet spoke up, noticing my worried look. "It's more likely they are after Danny Phantom, or you, or both."

"I figured that. I just wanted to warn you two… uh… three if Lydia's still here, about them. I didn't want the agents going after you guys too," I replied. "And I also don't want Scarlet to tear them a new one if we can avoid it. Hurting them would just cause more agents to come."

"Lydia is still here," Juliette chuckled before glancing down a little. "She's preferred sticking around for now. Though Scarlet, while I understand your point, the boys should still be careful about another strong ghost being around. Neither of us have psychic cores, meaning we can't just read the minds of the Guys in White. While unlikely as it may be, another ghost being in Amity Park, or the nearby huge city with the same name, it's still possible. Especially in the city, as I have heard of how a lot of people moved out after some events went down over there."

"We'll keep an eye out for this potentially hidden, strong ghost," I said, though the idea made me uneasy.

"So… are you sure you just want to release that blob into the Ghost Zone?" Scarlet asked.

"Uh… yes?" I frowned.

"It's likely going to get eaten as soon as you do," Scarlet warned. "Maybe you can leave it here."

I gave Scarlet a deadpan expression. "You just want to eat it yourself."

"You don't know that," Scarlet stated in response.

"Goodnight, Scarlet," I said as I turned around to leave. "And goodnight to you too, Juliette. Be careful of the Guys in White and their ghost bait."

When I got back home, I went down into the lab. I was really glad Mom and Dad weren't up doing one of their latest inventions tonight. I walked over to the Ghost Portal, and pushed a button to open the doors.

"Alright, blobby, in you go," I said as I threw the blob and the ecto ball into the Ghost Zone.

I dissipated the ecto ball so the blob would be free.

However, almost as soon as I did, I saw several bigger ghosts going after the poor thing at once. I quickly closed the portal before I could see the results.

I could almost hear Scarlet saying 'I told you so' in my head. I huffed a bit at the imaginary Scarlet. Maybe next time I should just keep one as a pet or something if it's going to get eaten anyways...

The next morning, Danny and I were walking to school.

"You almost got captured by the Guys in White last night? All for a stupid, non-sentient blob?" Danny frowned.

"A blob that likely got eaten, yes," I grumbled. "Thank you for reminding me of that."

"Uh… sorry," Danny sheepishly replied, he and I were still learning about how ghosts worked. "But still, I have to wonder… that's twice the Guys in White attacked one of us when we went after a small ghost. Are they hunting us?"

"Maybe. Juliette said it's also possible there's a hidden, powerful ghost in the city that we can't sense, and they could be hunting it," I informed.

Danny frowned. "There are a lot of abandoned buildings in the city and in some of the suburbs, so it's possible. Though if there is a strong ghost in the city, I have to wonder how they got here. If they really are strong, then we would've sensed them coming through the Ghost Portal. Unless…" Danny scratched his chin a little. "Unless a ghost came through during summer and Scarlet didn't catch them."

I grumbled. "How are we supposed to know then?"

"We could probably check out the ops center later," Danny responded. "See if the Ecto-Exodus is picking up on any faint ghostly energies. Even if a ghost is hiding well, there should be at least some trace of them somewhere."

"Oh, that's a good idea. I actually kinda forgot about the Ecto-Exodus," I realized. "If I remember right, Mom and Dad tweaked it so it scans not just the area around the Ghost Portal and into the Ghost Zone, but also scans Amity Park, Amity Park City, and the other nearby suburbs."

Danny chuckled a bit. "Yeah. Good work on keeping Mom and Dad distracted while Jazz and I turned down the sensitivity of it. It was a real headache when Mom and Dad showed up every time we went ghost after they had tweaked it. Right now it'll only go off with really strong ecto signatures. But if we turn the sensitivity back up, we should be able to find any traces of ghost activity. We just have to remember to turn it back down otherwise Hope, Juliette, and Scarlet will be constant targets for Mom and Dad."

"Of course, we'll do that as soon as we get back home to make sure there isn't some really strong ghost able to suppress itself and hide among the people," I remarked. "If there is… I have to wonder why it's here in the first place…"

"Hey guys," Sam greeted as we were getting closer to school. "What're you talking about?"

"We'll tell you about it when we get Tucker," I said, not wanting to repeat myself three times.

Thankfully, we were actually early to school, so we had time to just chat for a bit in the hall before class started. Danny and I finished relaying the information about the Guys in White and the possibility of a ghost hiding in Amity Park to Tucker and Sam.

"They're probably after the Phantwins," Tucker stated. "If there was a powerful ghost that got out of the Ghost Zone, I don't really see them sticking around Amity Park."

"Phantwins, really?" I raised an eyebrow at Tucker.

"It's easier than saying 'Phantom twins'," Tucker pointed out.

"The public isn't actually calling us that, are they?" Danny questioned.

"I mean… you got called Invisobill, remember?" Sam responded. "It wouldn't be too much of a stretch for them to call you and Andy 'the Phantwins'."

I probably shouldn't have cared what the people decided to call us, but that title just bothered me for some reason.

"Anyways, back on topic, you guys can still check the Ecto Exodus system if you want to be absolutely sure there isn't another ghost here," Sam stated. "But I would also suggest being careful if you two see another ghost flying around… by that I mean a ghost you consider to be weak compared to most other ghosts you fight on a daily basis. They could just be more bait to lure one of you, or both of you, out."

"Alternatively, you guys could set out your own bait," Tucker offered. "Something to scare off the Guys in White or capture them and get them to leave. Or to capture the bait that they're using."

"Hmm… that is something we could try," I agreed. "Though what kind of bait could we use that would interest them?"

I looked over at Danny.

"I don't like that look you're giving me…" Danny frowned.

"I hate this idea…" Danny grumbled.

"That's the 37th time you've said that," Tucker remarked into the earpiece that Danny and I were wearing.

I, as well as Sam and Tucker, were hiding behind some boxes with pool toys and pool noodles. Meanwhile, Danny, who was currently in his ghost form, was floating over the school's swimming pool. Danny was having his hands glow with the ghost ray, only he wasn't forming a ghost ray to use, he was just letting them sit in his hands. The reason for this was to attract any Guys in White agents to him.

"Remind me again why I agreed to this plan?" Danny questioned.

"Well, it was going to either be you or me to be the bait, bro, and you decided it should be you instead of me," I replied.

"Didn't you guys flip a coin?" Sam asked.

"Logically speaking, Danny is the better choice here. He's not only faster than me, and probably has better battle instincts, he's also more famous around Amity Park. People are still trying to figure out whether or not I'm actually Danny Phantom's brother or a duplicate," I explained.

"Hey, Danny, look at the bright side. If the Guys in White show up, then they're definitely after you," Tucker optimistically pointed out.

"How is that supposed to be the bright side?" Danny raised a brow.

"Because it means that you didn't miss a powerful ghost coming into Amity Park," Tucker explained.

Then, I saw a familiar light blue mist coming out of Danny's mouth, and my own ghost sense came out seconds after.

Suddenly, an Ectopus came flying in. It gave a roar at Danny. Danny frowned, and looked annoyed.

"Really?" Danny grumbled. "Alright, let's make it quick, I don't have all day."

The Ectopus flew at Danny, intending to attack him. Danny responded by firing one of the ghost rays he had been holding onto. The Ectopus gave a screech as the ghost ray slammed into its face, pushing it back before it fell to the ground in pain. The Ectopus quickly opened its eyes and actually looked afraid of Danny.

"Two options," Danny started as he pulled out a Fenton Thermos. "Get in the Thermos and I'll take you back to the Ghost Zone, or try to fight me and probably end up hurt."

The Ectopus started talking. "Please don't hurt me. I just wanted to escape the white!"

"Wonder what it's saying," Tucker mumbled from beside me.

"Yeah right, like it can talk…" Sam muttered.

"You guys didn't hear what it said?" I asked.

"Then go ahead and get in the Fenton Thermos," Danny instructed. "I'll deal with them."

The Ectopus looked like it calmed down. "O-okay…"

The Fenton Thermos activated when it flew closer to Danny, and sucked the Ectopus up.

"What do you mean 'you guys didn't hear what it said?'?" Sam blinked. "Cause all I heard was 'boo, boo, eek.'."

"It… was speaking English to me. It was begging Danny not to hurt it because it was escaping from 'the white', which I'm guessing are the Guys in White," I replied.

"It definitely wasn't speaking English, Andy," Tucker informed before glancing down at his computer. "Hey, Danny, getting some high energy heat signatures coming this way from the sky. It looks like whatever is coming is slowing down. My guess is that it's the Guys in White and they're gonna land on the roof."

I wondered for a moment, if this meant that Danny and I could understand ghosts even if they didn't talk in English. Though I did remember Juliette talking about Deadspeech, and I couldn't understand that. Maybe Deadspeech is more complex than normal ghost talk? Whatever the heck that is…

It was something I would have to figure out later, right now I needed to focus and hope this trap worked. If it didn't, and Danny got caught, I would have to jump in as soon as possible to get him out of whatever trap the GiW have my brother in.

Danny looked up at the ceiling. I was half expecting the agents to just callously destroy the roof and come in through the ceiling.

However, we were sitting there for about a minute when the doors on the opposite end of the pool room and two white suited figures walked in holding blasters.

"Come quietly, Ghost Kid," The first Guys in White member said. "We'd prefer to do as little damage to this school as possible, but if you resist then we will have no choice but to open fire."

"The other Ghost Kid doesn't seem to be with him, Agent L," The second agent remarked. "It is dangerous to assume he might be alone here."

"Unless the other Ghost Kid actually is just an ectoplasmic recreation of the original ghost, Agent S," The agent, called Agent L, responded.

"If you guys want a piece of me, you're going to have to catch me~" Danny taunted. "Let's see how you do."

"Initiate aqua protection protocols," Agent L stated before pressing a button on his watch that caused his outfit to transform into a waterproof diving suit. Agent S quickly did the same.

So far, so good. Our plan is working. Now Danny just has to get them into the trap underwater. I smiled.

"Surrender, Ghost Boy," Agent S ordered as he stepped towards the edge of the pool. "You won't win this."

"That's what every Guys in White agent said before I won~" Danny grinned.

Danny dove underwater, and the two agents quickly dove in after him. Unfortunately, Sam, Tucker, and I couldn't see what was going on under the pool, we could only make out the splashes, and the very distorted figures moving around.

Then there was a big splash, and the figures stopped moving.

"Did he get them?" Sam asked.

"Uh… guys, we may have a problem…" We heard Danny say over the Fenton Earphones. "The trap worked… but uh… at the same time it didn't."

Sam blinked a bit before facepalming. "You caught yourself, didn't you?"

"I guess I shouldn't have used a phase proof net to try to catch humans, huh?" Tucker chuckled sheepishly.

"No, that was a smart idea because we don't know what their tech can do," Sam responded. "We just shouldn't have sent Danny in to do the trapping as he has little experience with laying traps."

I groaned before I stood up. "I better go help him. Tucker, you made sure to disable any nearby surveillance cameras, right?"

"Yeah, go ahead and do your thing. Sam and I will be here as back-up," Tucker replied.

I ran towards the pool, and jumped to dive while activating my core at the same time, transforming into my ghost form. As soon as I was underwater, I could see the two agents grabbing onto the net Danny was trapped in, planning to bring him with them.

I turned myself invisible while the agents were focused on Danny, and maneuvered myself close to the two agents. I created two solid ecto balls in my hands using my ghost ray, letting them glow brightly to quickly get the two agents' attention. I formed them to create almost exact replicas of the blob ghost I… 'rescued' earlier. They were easy to make since the blob ghost was extremely simple.

"Bait level ghosts… ignore it," Agent L muttered.

I then used my telekinesis to move the two blobs I created and had them smash themselves into both of their sunglasses, blinding them. The two agents yelped and struggled to get the goo off their sunglasses while I quickly grabbed onto the net Danny was in. I didn't have much time to carry the net all the way out of the pool and into a hiding place, so I quickly made an ecto dagger, hoping the blade would be sharp enough to cut through this ecto net. I used the dagger's blade to cut the ropes, glad to see it was capable of doing so despite the net being supposedly ghost proof. Though I was wincing in pain a bit as I held onto the net, since it was designed to be effective against ghosts.

Thankfully, I've managed to cut the net enough to have Danny fly out free. By the time the agents got the goop off of their sunglasses, they saw my brother flying out of the pool. I was still invisible, and they were too distracted with my brother flying off to pay any attention to use whatever technology they had to see invisible ghosts. That was fine with me, if they didn't know I was here, I could easily back Danny up if they go after him.

"After him!" Agent L yelled.

"Yes, sir!" Agent S responded as the two agents quickly swam towards the edge of the pool.

I could see one of them was preparing to use something. I flew up quickly behind them and used my telekinesis to stop them both. They were very shocked when they suddenly couldn't move their bodies. I then clonked both of their bodies together before I flew past them out of the water, letting them go. That should hold them off long enough for Danny and I to get far enough away to transform back to humans.

As I flew away, I noticed Mr. Lancer coming in, holding a newspaper and dry toast for some reason. Sometimes I just really couldn't understand that man.

"Holy Homer's Odyssey! What in the world is going on here?!" Mr. Lancer exclaimed when he saw the two Guys in White agents.

I had to cover my mouth to keep from snickering at the scene. I actually stopped near the door just to see what would happen. Unfortunately, or maybe fortunately, my brother noticed me stopping to enjoy the show, so he phased through the door, grabbed my arm, and pulled me away.

"You can gawk all you want later," Danny stated. "Tucker has it on video as a just in case policy."

"Clever." I smirked as we flew away down the hall to find a good spot to turn human again and get our ecto tails off of the Guys in White's radar.

"Now, we should probably get ready for our next class," Danny remarked. "Study hall is almost over for the four of us."

Danny, Tucker, Sam, and I were walking down the halls to get to our next class. I was just glad to get the books I needed from my locker without a random jock trying to push me into one. Though I guess since Dash stopped bullying us, the other jocks had been a lot more hesitant on doing that lately. Speaking of Dash and the jocks, as well as cheerleaders, and several other students, I noticed a big crowd surrounding someone. I couldn't see who they were surrounding though.

"What's going on over there? A lot of the popular kids are in that crowd," Tucker wondered as we were passing by the crowd of students.

So many of them were talking at once, it was also difficult to hear anyone who could be in that crowd.

"Maybe Paulina got a fancy new outfit or something that she's showing off to everyone," Sam offered. "Seems like the kind of vain thing she'd do."

"But there usually isn't a big crowd of people for that," I remarked. "I could ask Dash what's going on… though that would require me to get through that crowd just to reach him."

"Let's just keep walking. Knowing how the popular kids work, they're just excited about something superficial," Sam remarked.

"Maybe she got a fancy new car?" Tucker suggested. "I mean that would definitely get a lot of attention."

"Can she drive yet?" Danny blinked. "Last I checked, she was still 15, wasn't she?"

"I think she's 16 now," Tucker remarked.

"Yeah, she is," Sam confirmed. "Remember how excited Danny and Tucker got when we all were personally handed envelopes by Paulina for her sweet 16 bash? Only to open them up and find out she made custom 'invites' to tell us all that we were not invited?"

"I was hoping Paulina was starting to change, but I guess she decided to remain the inner ugly witch that she is," I grumbled.

"Honestly… I can deal with current Paulina," Danny said with a chuckle. "It's a terrifying thought to think of what kind of person Paulina would be if she changed."

"In any case, if she did get a new car, we're going to be hearing her brag about it until we graduate," I grumbled as we walked past the crowd of students.

Sam suddenly stopped and looked eager yet nervous all of a sudden.

"H-hey! It's you, from the Nasty Burger!" Sam smiled.

Danny, Tucker, and I stopped, seeing the familiar white haired, sunglasses wearing boy standing by one of the lockers.

"If I remember, your name is Elliot, right?" Sam asked.

"Yeah, and if I remember right, you're Sam Manson," Elliot responded with a small smile. "Nice to see a fellow goth again. How are you?"

"Oh, I'm doing fine, just perfectly fine… in a goth, sour mood kind of fine of course!" Sam rambled with a shy smile. "Um… wait, do you go to school here?"

"Going here for a bit, yeah," Elliot responded. "Though I'm probably a grade up from you."

"That's so cool, we'll get to see each other more for as long as you're here." Sam grinned.

"Not too often," Elliot replied. "As I didn't see you in any of my classes nor at my lunch period."

"It's still better than nothing, right? Maybe we can also hang out with each other after school, like at the Nasty Burger," Sam suggested.

"It'd be nice to hang out with you all, but I'd rather not make Nasty Burger my go-to hangout," Elliot responded. "And since I'm still moving into my place, we probably wouldn't be able to hang out there."

"What about my place?" Sam suggested. "I'm always open to welcome new friends to my place, and we have plenty of space."

"I mean if you wouldn't mind having me over, sure," Elliot replied. "That sounds pretty cool."

"Oh, sorry, we'll have to schedule for a different day," Danny spoke up as he walked over. "We've got a bunch of plans for this afternoon and evening and it's a bit last minute to add another person."

Really, bro? Really? I blinked a bit.

Sam frowned before she glared a little at Danny. "I think you're mistaken, Danny, we have plans for later, not today. I think it'd be nice to welcome Elliot to Amity Park and hang out with him. If you're too busy to join us, that's fine, but I'd definitely like to hang out with Elliot."

"Perhaps to make things a bit more comfortable, since I know I'm new and all, how about we hang out at the mall later instead? I can hang out with you at your house on another day if it will make Danny feel better," Elliot suggested.

"The mall sounds great," Sam quickly said.

"Yeah, they have all sorts of fun things to do at the mall," Tucker agreed. "Though I'm going to be busy tonight. So perhaps you four can go."

"I'm going to be busy tonight too," Danny remarked with a bitter tone.

"Then how about just myself, Sam, and uh…" Elliot paused and blinked a bit before looking at Danny and myself. "I don't think I've actually gotten either of your names yet, sorry about that."

"I'm Andy, and the grump beside me is Danny, we're twins," I introduced.

"Nice to meet you, Andy." Elliot smiled. "Perhaps you, Sam, and I can hang out at the mall, do some shopping, maybe go to the food court, or even go to see a movie?"

I was about to decline since I wanted to keep an eye on my brother, as well as the Guys in White, but before I could answer, Danny grabbed my arm.

"Could you excuse us for a moment?" Danny requested before he dragged me somewhere out of earshot from Sam, Tucker, and Elliot.

"What do you want now?" I asked with a slight bit of grumbling, not liking the way Danny had been acting with Elliot.

"You should take Elliot up on his offer to go with him and Sam to hang out," Danny said.

"Why?" I questioned with a frown.

"To keep an eye on them… you know, in case there are any ghost attacks or something. And maybe keep Elliot from trying to get romantic with Sam," Danny informed.

"So… let me get this straight, bro," I started, feeling a bit disappointed in Danny right now. "You want me to go with Sam and Elliot in order to be their third wheel? All because you're jealous that an older guy is getting Sam's attention? That sound about right?"

"N-no! I'm not jealous! I'm just concerned for Sam. She hardly knows the guy, and he could be a ghost in disguise for all we know," Danny quickly defended himself.

"Yeah, and how exactly is she supposed to get to know the guy if you try and stop her?" I inquired. "Additionally, if he was a ghost in disguise, wouldn't we sense that? I mean yeah, ghosts can hide themselves pretty well when overshadowing others, but at this close of a range you think we'd at least be getting something. Besides, if you're that worried about Sam becoming closer than friends with Elliot, why don't you go with them? Or here's an even better idea, why don't you ask Sam out and make it so you're more than friends? That way Sam will know where you stand and Elliot won't be able to become more than friends. Everyone in existence could easily see you like Sam and she likes you, so why don't you take a leap and ask her out?"

Danny frowned. He didn't seem to have an answer for that. I could think of a few reasons why he wouldn't just come right out and tell Sam. He was afraid of how awkward things could be between them, especially if it didn't work out. He also had that crush, or rather, infatuation with Paulina even if it had dwindled a bit.

"I'll be keeping an invisible eye on Sam and Elliot," Danny finally said, not at all answering my questions.

"You do realize if you did that, and Sam finds out, which she definitely will, she's going to be really mad at you, right?" I pointed out.

"Either you go with them or I keep watch," Danny stated firmly.

"Okay, here's a deal I'm willing to make, I'll go with Elliot and Sam if you keep a lookout for the Guys in White. Find out what they're doing, what ghost they could be looking for, and make sure they don't find Scarlet or Juliette," I replied.

Danny gave a thoughtful look for a second before sighing and nodding. "Fine, but just make sure nothing romantic happens between the two of them."

"I can't promise that nothing will happen between them, but I will see if I can at least discourage any romance between them without making myself look like a complete jerk or moron," I stated before holding out my hand. "Do we have a deal?"

Danny nodded before shaking my hand.

"And make sure you don't get caught, bro," I added. Would rather not have a repeat with what happened with Freakshow.

Anime lover 3593: DarkFoxKit: Yeah, things are getting pretty hectic with Anna being at school with them, and Elliot being there too. Though as you'll see, Elliot is a bit different here than in canon. He isn't acting like he's from Hungary, nor is he using a fake accent, and using a fake name.

Heh, glad you could figure out why Ella was nervous around Danny. If she had social anxiety, she wouldn't have talked to Andy in the first place. And looking forward to getting to Kindred Spirits soon to go more in depth with… certain plot points.

Dp-Marvel94: Darkzdragon 'Onyx': They're definitely interesting figures. And them being prim and proper is very befitting of children of Vlad. They definitely don't resemble the twins in either look or attitude, so you might be incredibly wrong, but you also might be incredibly right.

Elliot has indeed made an appearance. And yes, Sam is interested as Elliot is very much her type. Danny would actually be envious and not jealous, because jealousy comes from feeling like you're losing something you once had. Danny never was in a relationship with Sam, other than being friends, so his feelings are of envy.

Playful teasing is playful teasing.

DarkFoxKit: And unlike in canon, Danny never had a relationship with Valerie either. It is pretty fun to have Andy being teased about liking Valerie, though it's unclear if Valerie would end up being Andy's love interest or not. Right now, it's just playful teasing.

KaseyKay17: Darkzdragon 'Onyx': Huh… *Mumbles something to herself* Your guess is definitely an interesting one. Glad you are looking forward to seeing them more.

DarkFoxKit: *Chuckles*

GhostHex: Darkzdragon 'Onyx': Glad you enjoy making predictions, they definitely are fun to make. Sam does indeed have a crush on Elliot, a child of Vlad will be going to Casper High, and Andy's crush is not just a subject of amusement but also conversation. Love how you asked that question.

Mana 16: DarkFoxKit: Huh… honestly I didn't notice that Ella and Anna's names were like the characters in Frozen. But I think Onyx did. Most fanfic writers changes Danielle's name to Ellie instead these days rather than using 'Dani'. In fact, I have to question why Butch thought it was a good idea to call her 'Dani' in the first place. It gets confusing.

Hehe, yeah, even Andy's got a mischievous side, and he is still a brother. He may be Danny's twin, but he's still a brother. XD

He's just Elliot, he never used the fake name Gregor in this story. And Danny is envious rather than jealous, because jealousy implies Danny is losing something with Sam, when he never had a romantic relationship with Sam. And poor Andy being caught in the middle of it. XD

Darkzdragon 'Onyx': There are some schools that believe psychic powers are magics, and others think that psychic powers are their own field of powers that exists within the person regardless of if they have magic or not. I think that both are possible. It wasn't necessarily only that Desiree got a boost when she died, but it could've been that she died from getting that boost in magic. There are a bunch of different theories regarding magic bumping around my head. As for Owl House, I plan on properly getting Fox into it soon.

DarkFoxKit: I've seen some episodes already while I was in the hospital. Had nothing better to do at the time. It is pretty good. But as Onyx said, she plans on getting me fully into the series.

Phantom Planet just gets me riled up whenever I think about it. These days I only watch it to make fun of it or find ways how I could tear into it when we eventually get to it ourselves. The Ghost Zone being the flip side of the universe is something we've already made canon in our story, we just haven't explained or explored it yet in WAP. Well, Ecto-ranium isn't a bad idea, it's just I don't like how it was pulled from the ether to make a conflict in an episode that already had way too much going on as it was.

Darkzdragon 'Onyx': The idea kinda is bad in my mind because it doesn't exactly make sense. If it's an element of the Ghost Zone, why would ghosts be weakened to it? Sure, they can't go intangible through things and ecto-ranium might be a stronger version of that, it doesn't exactly make sense it would act like kryptonite or exposed uranium. Perhaps there is some ectoranium out there somewhere, but definitely none we would be seeing early on.

DarkFoxKit: Besides, ghosts already have a confirmed weakness in the series, other than the ghost weapons, and that's the blood blossoms. Though I feel there are different ways the blood blossoms could be used on a ghost other than just hurting them. It could also make them high, do strange things, maybe give them a rash or something. Oooh, I cannot wait until we finally get into the blood blossoms in the series. Anyways, maybe Vlad could've created weapons out of the asteroid, but since it was the final episode and he's been doomed to die in space, I guess he couldn't.
