DarkFoxKit: Boys, I don't think Onyx wants our love. Perhaps we should show her~

DarkFoxKit: My dear, sweet little Onyx, you should've known not to run away from Mama~ *Approaches Onyx with a kangaroo plush*

Darkzdragon 'Onyx': Somebody save me! Ple- *The camera cuts out*

Chapter 110: Elliot's Intentions?

So I stuck with Sam and Elliot for the evening. Sam and Elliot decided to skip rocks at a pond in Central Park. I was watching as they were taking turns skipping rocks. Elliot went first, then gestured to Sam for her turn. Sam giggled, which was unusual since I never usually saw Sam giggling. She attempted to skip her own rock, but it plopped straight in without any skips. I found this strange as I knew Sam was very capable of skipping rocks. I then noticed Sam motioning Elliot over. Elliot then moved around Sam and started to, at least from my guess, give her pointers on how to skip rocks. This went on for a bit before Sam finally successfully skipped a rock.

Then we went to the theaters to watch a movie. Sam sat in the middle so she could be beside me and Elliot. I noticed about halfway during the movie that she was putting more attention on Elliot than the screen. The movie wasn't really my kind of movie, it involved a grown man and a woman kissing each other. Though I noticed Elliot putting an arm around Sam, making her lean closer to him.

Seems they're getting pretty chummy with each other. It just doesn't seem right. I frowned to myself before looking at what I had available. After not even a moment, I found myself staring right at the monster-sized bucket of popcorn.

"Here, want some popcorn?" I asked, putting the large popcorn on Sam's lap.

I did promise Danny I would try to discourage any romance between Sam and Elliot. And after the rock skipping lessons earlier, I figured I would hold up my end of the deal with Danny.

"Oh uh, thanks." Sam smiled as she took some popcorn.

"Yes, that was nice of you," Elliot agreed.

I saw Elliot, still having his arm around Sam's shoulder, pick up a handful of popcorn himself.

After the movie was over, we headed for the Amity Park Mall. It was Sam who decided we should have dinner here at the food court. I didn't mind having dinner at the mall's food court, until I saw what Sam and Elliot got.

"Really? You two are sharing that big plate of spaghetti?" I asked. Can you get any more obvious than this?

"If you're bothered by it, you could always eat on another table," Elliot suggested.

I put my plate of pizza down on the table. "No, I'm good staying right here."

"Well if we do end up bothering you at all, there are plenty of tables nearby that are close enough to where we can still chat," Elliot responded.

Sam and Elliot, instead of using forks to eat the spaghetti like most people, they decided to start on a strand of the noodle and started slurping it up. I couldn't tell if they were doing it to be romantic, or just to annoy me. Or maybe both.

Before I could take a bite out of my pizza, my cell phone began ringing. I dug it out of my pocket, and saw the caller ID was Danny's. Knowing it was likely related to ghosts or the Guys in White, I stood up from the table.

"I have to take this. You two continue enjoying your… dinner. Oh, just wanted to let you know, it would be more efficient to eat the pasta with a fork than just slurping up the noodles one at a time," I said before walking a little bit away so I could talk to Danny in private.

Of course, I was ignored, Sam and Elliot continued to slurp the noodles. But I just rolled my eyes and answered the phone. "How is it, Danny? Is everything okay?"

"Yeah, been following two Guys in White agents, and they decided to go to the mall for a white sale or something," Danny answered.

"The mall? As in… the Amity Park Mall? As in… they and you are here?" I frowned.

"Uhhh yeah," Danny confirmed. "Don't know if there are any other malls in Amity Park."

"We're at the mall right now," I hissed. "Where are you in the mall?"

"Uhh we just passed the formal suit store by the kid play area near the center of the mall," Danny answered.

I gave a small sigh.

"How's it going on your end? Has anything happened between Sam and Elliot?" Danny asked.

I looked back at Sam and Elliot, seeing Sam looking at Elliot's eyes. At least he took off his sunglasses in the mall. Sam definitely looked smitten.

"Well… they haven't done anything official yet, like kissing, but… Sam's got it pretty bad," I answered. "She's been giving Elliot that same look you usually give to Paulina. And they're following the Lady and the Tramp route by eating spaghetti together, on the same plate, slurping up the noodles. It's kind of driving me crazy."

I glanced back and saw they were both now slurping on the same strand of spaghetti. Just to make sure nothing happened, I used the tiniest bit of telekinesis to break the pasta strand in the middle.

"Though don't worry, I'm making sure nothing super romantic happens between them," I added as assurance.

"Just don't leave them alone together," Danny replied, sounding annoyed, but also concerned. "I just…"

Suddenly Danny let out a gasp on the phone. "Danny? Is everything okay?"

Shortly after I asked that, there was a blasting sound not too far away. My head turned to where I heard the blasting sound, seeing a bright blue ecto blast shooting something through the mall's ceiling. Not long after that, I saw two Guys in White agents flying up with their jetpacks, and turning themselves intangible. I blinked, unable to believe my eyes, before they phased through the ceiling themselves.

The…heck... just… happened? My shocked mind asked. Did… did those agents just… turn intangible?

I could hear a lot of shouting on the phone. I hung it up. I looked over at Sam and Elliot. I know I promised Danny I wouldn't leave them alone, but protecting Danny from the Guys in White was a higher priority then keeping Sam from kissing Elliot.

"Hey, Sam, Elliot, I have to run to the bathroom for a bit," I said to them. "I hopefully won't take long, but if I take longer than 5 minutes, then go on without me."

I didn't want them staying in case I couldn't make it back for whatever reason, or the mall gets damaged during the fight.

"Okay, Andy," Sam replied, not seeming to catch the urgency in my tone.

Wow, you do have it bad. I sighed to myself.

"Yeah, go on, we'll be fine," Elliot stated.

I rolled my eyes before running off to the nearest bathroom. As soon as I was hidden from sight, and I did a quick scan around the place to make sure there weren't any cameras, I transformed into my ghost form. I turned myself intangible and invisible before flying out through the ceiling to save my brother from those agents.

"-not doing anything! Why can't you just leave me alone!?" I heard Danny shouting in exasperation.

I saw the two Guys in White agents floating with their jetbacks, talking to Danny, who was more than annoyed right now.

"An unauthorized entity of scale 7 ectoplasmic power?" One of the agents questioned.

"A prepubescent specter operating freely? Unacceptable," The other agent stated.

Danny seemed more insulted than anything. "Hey! I've totally hit puberty!"

Danny then pulled out a white, glowing hair from his chest. "See? This is totally a chest chair!"

I had to cover my mouth to keep from laughing. Then I saw one of the agents fired their weapon at Danny, shooting out blue ecto blasts at him. I held out my hands, creating an ecto shield in front of Danny, blocking the ecto blast.

The Guys in White thought Danny did that, and Danny knew I was nearby, so nobody was surprised when the ecto shield came up. Which meant I could stay hidden from the Guys in White and do a stealth attack if I needed to.

"Why are you two here anyways?" Danny asked. "If you just wanted to go shopping, then why not wear normal clothes like normal people? I don't usually see people wearing their business clothes just to go shopping."

"That's none of your business, ghost kid," One of the agents replied.

I could shoot down their jetpacks, but that would just make them fall to their deaths. I didn't want to kill them, just keep them from hurting Danny. I created an ecto gun while they were focused on Danny, then fired the thin piercing ghost rays at their ecto blasters. The ghost rays easily created holes in the sides of the blasters, causing the weapons to short out and start sparking.

"Let's go!" I yelled at Danny, hoping he would be willing to break off the fight.

Despite being invisible, Danny was able to see or sense me enough to know where to follow me.

"The ghost boy is getting away!" One of the agents shouted.

"I can see that! But our weapons are fried!" The other agent snapped.

"Forget the weapons! Just go after him!" The other agent shouted.

Danny turned himself invisible before we dove behind a car.

"Hurry, change back," I whispered to Danny before I changed back to my human form.

Danny followed my lead and turned back to his human form.

We stayed hidden behind the car, and waited. We could hear the sounds of the rockets as the two agents were flying past the area we were hiding in. We kept quiet and hidden even after they flew away, wanting to be absolutely sure they were gone first before we did anything.

After a while, we carefully stood up from behind the car and looked around.

"It looks like they're gone," Danny noted.

"Good…" I sighed in relief before looking at Danny. "Why were you in ghost form? You should've known they had the technology to alert them when a ghost is nearby."

"Cause I wanted to overhear what they might be talking about," Danny answered. "And I needed to stay a bit close to them."

"Why didn't you just stay close to them in your living form?" I questioned.

"I figured I wouldn't have been able to stay close enough," Danny responded.

I facepalmed a bit. "Bro… we're teenagers…"

"Yeah…? And?" Danny raised a brow.

"You could've been walking right behind them and not been seen as strange if you had been pulling a teen and staring intently at your phone screen," I pointed out. "It's a mall, the place where lots of teens hang out. Even if you are Danny Fenton, I doubt the Guys in White would've cared much."

Danny looked at me for a moment before he facepalmed himself. "I didn't think about that… I'm so stupid! I just… didn't think I should get close to them because they're the Guys in White, you know? Even as a human I can't help but feel uneasy around them."

I sighed before putting a hand on my brother's shoulder. "Try to use your logic a bit more than you currently use your emotions. Especially when it comes to tailing someone."

"Yeah…" Danny nodded a little. "That's something I'll have to remember."

Then I frowned. "How long has it been since I left Sam and Elliot alone?"

Then we heard laughter. Both of us turned invisible on instinct, and saw Elliot and Sam walking out of the mall.

"Are you sure we should be walking out now? Andy would be wondering where we are," Sam asked Elliot. "It's only been 3 minutes since he went to the bathroom."

Elliot and Sam stopped under a street light, then Elliot turned to Sam. "I just… wanted us to be alone for a moment, because… I have something I want to tell you."

"What is it?" Sam inquired.

"Would you mind it if I showed you a little bit of my affection? Like say a kiss?" Elliot suggested. "Not on the lips of course, as it is only our first date and I don't want to come across as a misogynist pig."

"Oh…" Sam began to blush. "Well… I don't see why not… though I do have some stuff to figure out."

"Of course." Elliot smiled before he leaned in and kissed Sam on the cheek. "Thank you for this wonderful evening. And it was nice to hang out with you and your friend. Speaking of whom, we should either text him that we're going ahead, or let him know we're outside in the parking lot."

"Y-yeah, that sounds like a good idea," Sam agreed, blushing more as Elliot leaned back.

I could see that Sam was also a little troubled. It was likely due to the fact she really liked Elliot, but she also liked Danny. Speaking of Danny, I could hear him gasping a little when Elliot kissed Sam on the cheek. It may not have been a kiss on the lips, but it was enough to make Danny gasp.

"Bro… calm yourself," I softly instructed as I reached over and gripped Danny's shoulder. At the same time I pulled out my phone with my other hand and turned it to silent.

Sam sent me a text message that they were going ahead not long after I turned it to silent. Elliot then held onto her hand. Sam gave him a small smile before they started walking away.

"We should go," I suggested to Danny as Sam and Elliot were walking away.

"Y-yeah…" Danny agreed.

When Sam and Elliot were far enough away, we dropped our invisibility, and went to hide behind the car again. Both of us summoned our rings that split horizontally, changing us into our ghost forms.

Danny flew up into the sky, and I quickly followed after him.

Danny had been looking a little hurt after witnessing Elliot's kiss with Sam's cheek. I couldn't help but wonder what was going on in my brother's mind while we were flying through the sky.

"Are you going to be okay, Danny?" I asked in concern.

"Yeah, I'll be fine, bro…" Danny softly answered, not really convincing me.

"You don't sound fine," I replied.

Danny sighed. "When you said everyone could see Sam likes me… did you really mean that?"

"Well…" I hesitated for a moment. "I did. But that doesn't mean Sam couldn't like someone else, especially since you two aren't a couple." Despite the many many opportunities the universe has given you to become a couple.

Danny frowned at that. "Do you… think it might be… too late now?"

"I mean… it's never too late," I answered. "At least that's what all those movies and shows say about love. I personally have no experience with love, bro, at least the romantic kind, you and I know that."

"What? What about your dance with Valerie at the freshman prom? Or when you went on that date with her?" Danny asked, looking at me.

"The dance didn't mean anything! And you know the 'date' was an undercover mission to find out what was going on with the whole 'love epidemic' thing!" I argued. "Which, by the way, you and Sam fell for!"

"Do you have feelings for Valerie?" Danny raised a brow. I could tell he was trying to shift the conversation off himself.

"We're not focusing on my love life, Danny, we're focusing on yours," I answered. "You obviously have a thing for Sam if you're getting feelings of jealousy and depression when you see Sam with someone else."

"Do not…" Danny huffed and looked away.

I sighed before I quickly flew a little further ahead, then flew up in front of Danny, stopping him. "Listen, Danny, I know you're still trying to figure out your feelings for Sam, but maybe it's time you at least try to go on a date with her? If you keep holding off on telling Sam how you feel, eventually someone else is going to take her."

Danny glanced away and didn't respond.

"I know you're probably scared, bro," I continued. "I can guess what you're thinking; 'what if Sam says no?' and 'what if this changes our group's dynamic?' and even 'does she even like me?'. But… you can't let the what-ifs and unknowns control your life. Yes, you talking to her could change things, and I almost guarantee that things will change-"

"Thanks, I feel so much better…" Danny softly scoffed, cutting me off.

"If you'd let me finish, perhaps you would feel better," I remarked. "As I read in one of Jazz's books, change is something that happens whether we want it to or not. Change can be something good or bad. How it affects us, and whether it's good or bad, is solely up to the choices we make and how we react to the change that happens. Right now, you're almost guaranteeing that the dynamic in our group will change for the worse. I mean you're becoming kinda hostile with Elliot. If Sam sees this, she might respect you or trust you less."

"Well, what can I do about it then? I can't help but feel that way to Elliot. And if I tried telling Sam now, she'll just think I'm doing it out of jealousy." Danny frowned.

"I…" I began but sighed. "I don't know… I didn't get that far into Jazz's book." I then gave it some thought. "Though… we could ask someone who might know. And no, I'm not suggesting Jazz."

"Who could we ask? Tucker?" Danny asked.

I frowned. "Tucker? He… hasn't had the best track record when it comes to talking to girls."

"Please don't tell me I'd have to talk to Mom about this," Danny groaned.

"Well…" I imagined what Mom would say.

"If you want to win Sam's heart, just be yourself. And maybe even talk to her about hunting ghosts, that's how your father and I became close!" Imaginary Mom said.

"Uh… well, maybe not our parents either," I ruled out.

"Who then?" Danny raised a brow before shuddering a little. "Okay, I really hate that that thought even popped into my head…"

"What?" I blinked, now curious.

"Well the first one was Mr. Lancer… but yeah… no," Danny explained before shuddering again. "And then my brain decided to make me disgusted at the entire universe by thinking about asking advice from… the fruitloop…"

"Considering Vlad's love life history… yeah, probably not the best idea," I agreed and shuddered. "Hmm… who else could we ask?"

I looked down for a moment, seeing the opera house wasn't too far from where we were. That was when an idea struck me. "How about asking Juliette and Scarlet? Surely they must have some experience with love."

"I mean… maybe?" Danny responded in an unsure tone. "I could see Juliette possibly having some experience from when she was alive, but not after becoming a ghost. After all, Skulker was apparently trying to hunt her down from day 1."

"We could at least try," I shrugged. "Are you willing to try for Sam?"

Danny gave me a hesitant look, but he looked to be thinking about something, likely imagining Sam with Elliot. Danny then gave a nod. "Alright, let's see what Juliette and Scarlet have to say."

Both of us flew down to the opera house. When we landed, both of us walked through the first set of doors. We glanced back behind us, through the glass doors, to ensure that nobody was looking before we transformed out of our ghost forms.

Danny then turned around and knocked on one of the inner doors of the opera house. The door was suddenly surrounded in a soft pink glow before it swung open.

Both of us walked inside, seeing a familiar goat ghost girl, and the holy knight floating there.

"Hey, sorry if we came at a bad time. But we're in need of some advice," I stated.

"It's fine," Juliette chuckled as she floated down and landed in front of us. "What kind of advice are you looking for?"

"Well…" I looked at Danny and nudged him a bit.

Danny frowned, looking down a little as he started blushing. "Um… well…"

"Come on, Danny, out with it," Scarlet ordered.

"There's… someone I like… but she's currently dating, or hanging out, I guess, with someone else… I don't know what I should do, because I feel angry and bitter towards the guy she's spending time with… and I don't want her thinking I'm just now telling her how I feel because I got jealous…" Danny explained, though his face looked like it was growing hotter and redder by the minute.

"We were hoping one or both of you could give us some advice since neither of us have any experience when it comes to this kind of thing," I informed.

Scarlet beamed at that. "You want to know how to get a lot closer to a woman?!"

Seeing Scarlet's sudden excitement, I quickly moved behind Danny and pushed him forward. "He is, more than me."

"H-hey! I'm not that desperate!" Danny hissed.

"Well I have had many successful encounters with beings of both genders," Scarlet informed.

"R-really?" Danny blinked. "What'd you do?"

"You should be asking what didn't I do?~" Scarlet grinned.

"I… have the feeling that there's miscommunication…" Juliette whispered in my ear, which surprised me since I didn't notice she got this close. "But I am admittedly interested to see where this goes."

"Uh…" Danny hesitated, but Scarlet continued on.

"I have been lucky to find myself in many heated exchanges between one or more," Scarlet informed. "Each time was a unique experience that taught me more about myself, my skills, and what I have to offer."

"Uhhh…" Danny was starting to turn red, and I think my face was starting to get a little heated as well.

"When one finds themselves in that situation, they need to be true to themselves, not hold back, and keep going no matter what happens," Scarlet went on. "You wish to be a warrior, correct? Then you must not ever hold anything back. Give each and every experience your all."

"Here it comes~" Juliette softly giggled.

"Even your own life may need to be put at stake," Scarlet finished. "After all, one cannot hope to win in a battle without being willing to risk their health."

Danny stared at Scarlet for a full minute before he finally said something. "We… are talking about love, right?"

Scarlet blinked a bit before tilting her head. "Love? I thought you were seeking advice for a battle."

I had to cover my mouth to keep from laughing and completely losing it.

Juliette, however, didn't hold back and started laughing up a storm. She even fell on her back as she was laughing.

Danny looked even more embarrassed now.

I was clearing my throat, trying to cover up any laughs that tried to leak out. "Okay… uh… here's the deal… Danny wants to go on a date with someone he's close to, but is afraid to because he doesn't know how he really feels, or how she feels about him. And she's going out with someone else right now."

"Oh… well then I have absolutely no advice to give," Scarlet remarked. "Love is one battlefield I have dared not enter as it would violate my code. A holy knight may only ever seek out a lover when it is close to the end of their time. And usually it must be in one as devoted as they are to the path of righteousness and light."

"Well… what about Juliette?" I asked before turning to the goat girl. "You know, when you're done laughing."

Juliette eventually stopped laughing and got back up, but she ended up bringing over a chair so she could sit. "I apologize, Danny, but Scarlet's misunderstanding of the situation was quite hilarious… However, some of the advice she gave you is sound. Like exposing your true self and not holding back. As for me, I do have a little bit of experience, but not too much and I don't know how it would apply in this time period."

"Any advice would be helpful right now," Danny replied.

"First let me ask, do you love Sam?" Juliette questioned.

"W-w-what!? Sam? I-I never said it was Sam!" Danny replied, looking all flustered.

"Danny, I may be 1400 plus years old, but I'm not blind, dumb, or senile," Juliette remarked. "I can see clear as day that you have a thing for Sam. What I want to know is if you truly love her."

Danny frowned. "I… I'm not sure. I know I love her as a friend, but I've been trying to figure out my actual feelings for her for a while now…"

"How do you feel when you're around her?" Juliette inquired. "And how about when you aren't with her? How does it feel to be separated from her for a bit and not hear from her? And how does it feel after you finally hear from her after so long?"

I could see Danny was thinking about the questions Juliette asked him. He was thinking for a while before he finally gave the answers.

"I do feel like everything's right when I'm around her," Danny answered. "When I'm not with her, I feel a little sad, and a little more lonely, and sometimes I really want to see her again soon. When I get separated and not hear from her, I get worried, especially since we deal with hostile ghosts on almost a daily basis, and I start to get a little anxious if I don't hear from her for a while. And when I do hear from her, I feel immense relief, and I would just want to go where she is and give her a hug."

Juliette gave a nod. "If Sam was about to be shot, what would you do?"

"I'd save her, of course," Danny answered.

"Even if it would most assuredly cost you your own life?" Juliette raised a brow.

Danny frowned at that, and I did as well. Knowing my brother, I knew what his answer would be.

"And afterlife," Juliette added.

"If there was another option, I'd take it," Danny replied. "But if I had to answer, then I would give up my life to save Sam. But then, Andy did that too…"

I did remember choosing to save Sam's life when we were falling from Freakshow's train with a cracked grappling hook.

"And finally…" Juliette started. "I will warn you, this question will seem really really cruel, but it is a test to see the extent of your feelings for her. If you don't wish to hear it, tell me now."

Danny nodded. "Go ahead and ask."

"If Sam became evil, what would you do? Or if Sam revealed she was the most evil being in existence, what would you do then?" Juliette questioned.

Danny frowned at the question. It really was a cruel question. If Danny chose to be a hero, that would mean having to kill off Sam or lock her up for eternity. If Danny chose to go with her, well… then he would become evil as well. I shivered at the thought, trying not to dig up old memories that were best left forgotten.

"Well…" Danny hesitated. "I guess trying to save Sam and making her not evil isn't an option?"

"Well in the first part of the question, there would be that technicality," Juliette noted. "But my question then would be, what if the cost of saving her was quite high? What if, in order to save her, you had to kill 100 innocent people?"

Danny sighed, and looked down for a moment. He then looked up at Juliette. "I'd refuse."

"You'd refuse?" Juliette raised a brow. "Which part?"

"All of it," Danny firmly stated. "I'd find a way to save her without killing anyone. I'd spit in the face of whoever said that there were only a few options and I would make my own. If Sam did turn out to be the most evil person in existence, then I would just have to save her from that fate. And if Sam somehow was forced into becoming evil, then I would fight whoever or whatever forced her and return her to normal."

Juliette smiled at that. "Good. That means you do love her."

I suddenly saw a flash image of Sam wearing some kind of torn-looking green and dark green outfit. I also noticed her eyes were completely green, she didn't even have pupils. She looked evil, and was even grinning evilly. I blinked, not seeing anything more other than that. What was that?

"Well… okay, but… what do you think I should do then?" Danny asked before frowning. "I mean… if I really do love her, shouldn't I let her choose who she wants to be with then? I mean… if she would rather be with Elliot… I should just let her, shouldn't I?"

"The saying is that if you love something, you should let it go," Juliette acknowledged. "However, a key part that you're missing is that Sam doesn't know that you love her. Yes, she knows the two of you are good friends, but she doesn't know if you have interest in being anything more. Additionally, you don't know if she's just hanging out with this Elliot fellow with the goal of becoming his friend or if she wants more from him."

"In other words if I want to know where she stands, I have to tell her?" Danny remarked.

"That's what most of us have been wanting you to do, bro," I stated. "Nothing will happen if neither of you are willing to take a risk and tell the other how you feel."

Danny looked down. "Yeah… I suppose you're right. I have been just… scared of Sam not really feeling the same way, or that it could change our group dynamic. Are you sure you and Tucker would be fine if Sam and I did end up together?"

I put a comforting hand on Danny's shoulder. "As hard as it is to accept sometimes, we do have to grow up, and things do change when we do. But I don't want to see you regretting never asking Sam out when you had the chance. Tucker and I will be fine, bro."

"What Andy said before is most definitely correct," Juliette confirmed. "If you do nothing, or do the bare minimum, then no result will come from it other than the feeling of disappointment and loneliness."

Danny took a deep breath and let it out. "Okay… I'll tell Sam… but tomorrow at school."

Juliette shook her head. "Not at school."

"Hmm? Why not?" Danny asked.

"If you chose to do it at school, you would then be adding pressure on yourself throughout the day," Juliette explained. "'Which class should I tell her?', 'Should I wait till lunch?', 'Do I tell her in private or out in the open?', 'What if I make a fool of myself in front of our classmates?' and so on. If you wish to tell her in a place that doesn't put pressure on yourself or Sam, then you should pick somewhere more private. That somewhere shouldn't be at either one of your houses as both of your parents can be quite… strange, intrusive, and embarrassing. You should pick a place that you both enjoy, or an activity that you both have fun with. It shouldn't be completely secluded, but also not somewhere that there's lots of people."

Danny thought about it, before nodding. "Yeah, that sounds like a better idea."

"Perhaps… a walk in the park? Or a picnic?" Juliette suggested.

"You both could go on top of the hill in the park, not a lot of people go there," I suggested. And if I remember right, you two went there after you fell under that love potion's spell.

"I'll figure something out. Either way, I'll have to wait until after school tomorrow," Danny remarked.

"We could help~" Scarlet grinned.

"No." Juliette shook her head. "Absolutely not, Scarlet. I forbid you assisting Danny in his efforts. And before you ask why, it is because I know you would end up trying to arrange some kind of sparring match or athletic challenge."

"Fine then, if you want it to be boring," Scarlet grumbled.

"Boring is normal in this day and age, Scarlet." Juliette smiled. "This is just two people chatting and one admitting his feelings. It isn't like…"

Juliette trailed off and her smile became more faint. I noticed she was staring off a bit, possibly thinking back on something.

"The least I can do is give you a pep talk then, so you don't lose your nerve!" Scarlet suddenly spoke up, looking at Danny.

Juliette shook her head. "I believe that Andy would be better suited for that task, Scarlet."

"I think I know what I need to do now. Thanks for the advice, really." Danny smiled. "We should get back home before it gets too late."

"If you need me to deal with this 'Elliot' kid, let me know." Scarlet grinned.

"Thanks, but I don't think that'll be necessary," Danny sweatdropped before he started walking to the door. "Are you coming, bro?"

"Yeah… you go on ahead, bro, I just want to ask Juliette something," I answered.

"Alright, I'll be waiting for ya," Danny responded as he left through the first set of doors.

I looked back at Juliette. "I noticed you seemed… melancholic just a moment ago. Is everything alright?"

Juliette gave a small nod as she looked directly at me. "I'm fine, Andy. I was just… remembering my past. Namely when I was betrothed and my future husband took me out on a small picnic in the garden. This was before my legs became a serious problem for me… I… was just wondering about what happened to him since he and I were in love. And then… I died."

"Oh, I see…" I frowned, feeling a little sad for Juliette, since she had been looking for her parents for a long time, and she was reminded that she had someone she did love in her life. "I'm sorry that had to happen to you."

"You don't need to be sorry, Andy," Juliette assured. "When I started having my issues, I… pushed him away. And before I died, I hadn't seen him. He constantly sent flowers and other gifts, but… well I regret not having seen him one last time before my death. And I hope that he lived a happy life."

"I hope he did too," I replied. "Thanks for helping Danny out by the way."

"I am glad to have been of help," Juliette responded. "And I will make sure Scarlet does not try to 'help' with Danny's attempt."

"I'd be a great help!" Scarlet pouted.

"Just stick to ghost training…" Juliette sighed.

I snickered a little before I walked to the door out of the opera house to meet up with Danny, and to fly back home. Though a part of me was worried about that image of Sam I saw. I remembered seeing a flash image of Tucker wearing that pharaoh outfit before Duul Aman took him over. Is the same thing going to happen to Sam?

sloothraquil: Darkzdragon 'Onyx': It's possible, but only time will tell who, if anyone, Andy ends up with.

GhostHex: DarkFoxKit: I guess this is one way for the ghost boy to realize his feelings for Sam. As for bait ghosts and ghost hunger, they're something for the future.

Dp-Marvel94: Darkzdragon 'Onyx': Yeah, that poor poor blob ghost is just a tiny bit of live bait. From the GiW's point of view, they don't really see themselves doing anything wrong and that what they're doing is for the sake of the world. Because of this belief, they're willing to go to any length to take down or capture Danny and Andy. The fact that the boys managed to outsmart the GiW, again as this isn't the first time, shows how much the GiW underestimates the boys.

Personally, I think the GiW got done dirty in the show. There was so much more that could've been going on with them, but none of that was ever explored. A part of me wonders how the GiW would've turned out if Danny Phantom had continued and Phantom Planet had never been a thing.

DarkFoxKit: Phantom Planet was not only a disappointing finale, but it definitely came at a very awkward point in the series where the series needed to keep going. Considering the last episode before Phantom Planet was Valerie discovering Vlad's secret, it hurt all the more when the very next episode was the final one, and they did nothing with Valeire knowing Vlad's secret. Nor did they really show how Valerie reacted to knowing Danny was half ghost, the boy she fell in love with, the boy she also tried so hard to kill. Smiling and clapping was not how Valerie would've reacted. Not to mention Danny really shouldn't have just shown the world his secret, especially since in Reality Trip, it was clear the GIW had no issues kidnapping him and taking him in for painful experiments. … I'm sorry, Phantom Planet always seems to get to me.

Mana16: DarkFoxKit: Deadspeech was a thing we were trying out in The Infinite Realms, and we want to implement it here. I'm sure not every ghost can speak English after all. Phantwins, might be their title later on, who knows? :P

They probably thought the name 'Dani' was clever because she was Danny's clone, therefore they must have the same name, or whatever.

It's weird, how Tucker was so annoying in the episode. It was to the point where I thought Tucker was being annoying on purpose. I'm pretty sure he's aware he was being annoying, and I doubt Sam wouldn't have at least said something to Tucker about how annoying he was being, she never had any issues with being blunt towards the boy before. We also didn't want to use the same route as the episode did with Elliot, we wanted to change it up. Plus, neither of us are good with love stories, but we may dabble in it.

Personally, I don't usually like to include magic if the story already has a big lore with something powerful, like with ghost powers for instance, you could easily argue that with magic, people can make themselves fly, go invisible, or intangible as well. Making ghost powers not as special, and kinda moot. If there was a limit on magic, that would work better.

Darkzdragon 'Onyx': However, there are magics that I am hoping to incorporate that have similar effects to ghost powers, but in different ways. Ghost intangibility is natural and powerful due to the fact that it's an evolved trait. But if someone learned intangibility magic, for the case of this argument, there would be limitations on what they could do. But on the flip side, there are things magics can do that ghost powers can't easily do, like combine multiple different elements together to create something new.

There is room for ghost powers and magic all within this world, and I hope to use more of it going forward. Maybe not make it obvious, or a huge plot point, but perhaps mention here and there of Sam getting more interested in the occult, magic, yadda yadda. If we properly use magic, outside of what I showed during the Reality Trip episode, it'll be in a later season and not this one, as this one is coming to a wrap.

DarkFoxKit: We do have some plans for future seasons, and as Onyx said, magic might be a part of it. Now let's see where we were… Ah! Paulina didn't get a car, they were just speculating that was why there was a crowd of students. Though maybe we'll keep what you said in mind for when Paulina does eventually get a car.

The Blood Blossoms are very interesting, and I wish they were used more in the series, and what possible effects they could have on Danny while in human form. Some people speculate that if a halfa consumed blood blossoms, they may become immune to it, but I don't know. It is definitely something we want to experiment with ourselves though. Sam growing Blood Blossoms would be interesting, I would imagine she would have to know they exist first before they could start doing research on them. But definitely something we can look into. As for Undergrowth, I don't think he made Blood Blossoms, there could be plants that were made without Undergrowth after all. Humans mix and match nature all the time.
