HIIII! Ok, so I have busy a lot lately and almost forgot about this.

BTW: Will is Jay's life, Mouse isn't Jay's CI, and Will and Jay have a younger sister.

Jay thought everyone was acting weird. Platt wasn't her abrupt, sarcastic self, well at least not to him, and everyone in the bullpen was looking at him weirdly.

Hank Voight walked out of his office and looked at him. Jay figured that he would find out why everyone was acting weird and that he wouldn't like it at all.

"Halstead, my office," Voight said. Jay walked into his boss's office and noticed the Commander.

"Where were you last night, Halstead?" the Commander asked. Jay was confused.

"At home, watching the game, why?" Jay asked. He really wanted to know what was going on.

"Lonnie Rodiger was found dead this morning," Jay was surprised. He had always wanted the little shit to get what he deserved but he never thought it would actually happen.

"And we have this," Commander Perry showed him a picture of his car behind Lonnie's.

"Ok, so, I happen to be driving home behind a pedophile," Jay said.

"Until this is straightened out, you're striped," Voight said. Jay looked at Voight. He couldn't believe that he was now the victim.

As Jay reluctantly handed his gun and badge, Commander Perry said, "IA will interview you later today."

"You mean interrogation," Jay spat as Commander Perry walked out of Voight's office and out of Intelligence.

Jay was still standing in disbelief in Voight's office. They had a silent staredown and Jay left Voight's office. Ruzek, Lindsay, Jin, Sumner, and Antonio were all in the bullpen watching Jay's movements. Olinsky wasn't paying attention.

Voight stepped out of his office when Jay started searching for a file in his desk. Everyone was just silently watching him.

"I will have everyone in here know," Jay spoke into the quietness of the room, "if I killed Lonnie Rodiger, I would have done it the night I found Ben Corson." As he was talking, he grabbed a picture of the crime scene where he found Ben and taped it to the whiteboard. He grabbed his jacket and walked out of Intelligence.

The photo had Ben Corson in the middle, with his top half covered by a police jacket, that said the name "Halstead" on it. Erin was shocked at the photo. Antonio felt bad for him. Alvin knew that they should be trying to help him and this team wasn't then he would.

Jay was beyond pissed, but, in order to get his job back, he needed to keep a clear head. He went to the Corson's and told them the news. When he heard Danny say he would confess for the sake of Jay's job, he knew Lonnie's murder wasn't related to Ben.

Jay's pissed mood didn't change after his "interview" with Internal Affairs. Jay felt like he needed some cheering up. And he knew exactly how to get it.

Jay knocked on the door to his brother's apartment, he knew that Will had today off and that he would be spending it with their younger sister, Madelyn, Maddie, Mads, or some other nickname Will and Jay came up with. Jay knew that no one in Intelligence knew he had siblings or that he was in the Army.

Madelyn opened the door and looked surprised when her other older brother was there. Jay marveled at how much Maddie looked like their mom. Emily Halstead was pregnant with her when Jay was a freshman in high school, the pregnancy was high-risk but Emily had wanted a girl badly. When Maddie was born, both Mom and baby were okay but the doctors were worried about future problems. While Jay was deployed, his mom was diagnosed with cancer. Jay came home, spent time with Maddie and his mom, and tried not to argue too much with his dad, seeing that he always disagreed with him.

"Jay, what are you doing here?" Maddie asked. She had thought that today just Will, not that she was complaining. She knew that Jay and Will were busy and she didn't get to see her brothers often. "I thought you were working."

"Hey, Mads," Jay smiled, "What? You don't want me here, because I can hang out with Mouse." Jay loved messing with Madelyn. Mouse was an Army buddy who Jay's family welcomed in after they were both injured on the job during their second tour. Mouse had also helped Jay with his PTSD.

"I never said that, Jay," Maddie smiled and gave her brother a hug.

"Right 'cause I'm your favorite."

Maddie rolled her eyes and decided to play along. "Shh, Will can hear you," she said laughing.

Jay was laughing as he walked into Will's apartment.

"Jay! What are you doing here?" Will asked.

"Long story" was the answer Will was given.

"Oh, come on, Jay, we've got time," Will pestered.

"Pretty please, Jay-Jay?" Madelyn begged. She was 16 but she was perfectly fine begging like a toddler when it came to her brothers.

"Um, it's kinda a downer," Jay said.

"Ok, we'll grab tissues," Maddie answered. Jay chuckled. The Halsteads all had the same sarcasm. They all piled onto the couch.

"Fine, I'll tell you," Jay answered.

"Will, you already know this, but when I was in high school-" Jay started.

"Wait, how does this explain why spending the day with us?" Maddie interrupted.

"Will you shut up and I'll tell you?" Jay answered her, poking her in her sides. "Ok, when I was in high school, I dated a girl named Allie. She had a little brother named Ben. We broke up before I deployed and we stayed friends. When I became a police officer, one night I was responding to a weird object at some park and," Jay started getting choked upon his words, Maddie curled up next to him and Will rested his hand on Jay's shoulder. "I found Ben's body. He would have turned 15 a couple of weeks ago."

Jay took a deep breath and gathered his thoughts. "The guy who did it was found dead this morning and I got suspended."

"What? Why did you get suspended? You were trying to help the Corsons!" Will was outraged. He had heard about some of the things that Voight had done through Jay and was surprised Jay was suspended for that.

"Yeah, I know," Jay answered sadly, "Try getting my team, or people who say they're my team, to realize that." Jay's tone was bitter.

"Ok, Will, we are putting you-and-me day on hold and helping Jay," Maddie demanded.

"I agree," Will said as they grabbed their stuff and went over to Jay's apartment. While they were driving over there, Will filled in Mouse and asked him to come over in case something happens with Jay.

When they got to the apartment, Jay had a voicemail from Antonio, it said, "Hey, Jay, I know I'm not supposed to talk to you about this but meet me outside the mall parking lot in 30 minutes. See ya, I'm sorry this is all piling on you."

"Uh, do you guys want to grab some food or something," Jay said, "I'm meeting Antonio Dawson in about 30 minutes."

"Why can't we come with you?" Maddie asked. Another thing all three Halstead's had: they were all ridiculously stubborn.

"Because they don't know you guys exist," Jay said, "They also don't know I was in the Army."

"How come they don't know you were in the Army?" Maddie asked. She thought the team could benefit from his knowledge. She understood why the team didn't know he had siblings, but not the Army.

"Because I don't like talking about it to people outside of my family and it's buried deep in my file. In fact, the person at work that knows it, I think, is Trudy Platt." Jay said. Platt had said something about the military to him, but he didn't catch it till after the conversation was done.

"That's the lady who you say is a pain in the ass, right?" Jay nodded and started to say something about her cussing but Maddie cut him off, "I was using your words, and can I meet her, please?" Maddie couldn't wait to meet Platt and team up against Jay.

"Maybe, after this Rodiger thing goes down, ok?" Maddie nodded. "Ok, now you don't two get some food, and I'll be back as soon as possible."

One last one thing: (ok maybe two)

1) Do not age check me, it probably won't add up.

2) If I have any medical stuff in this, do not fact-check me. I am a 14 girl, I do not know everything.
