Shrek took a sigh while finishing the onion he had in his right ogre hand for he was feeling a bit down; but maybe paying his fellow Universal friends a visit wouldn't hurt so much; that's why he went to a particular spot in New York City since he knew Manhattan was the place where they would gather. "Aye. Are you laddies here?"
"We're always here for you Shrek!" SpongeBob SquarePants heartily laughed while he was grilling Krabby Patty hamburgers for the others to eat. "Is there something on your mind?"
"Well yes..." Shrek trailed off upon clearing his throat. "I join you guys because I'm now a former attraction at Universal Studios."
"Damn that must really suck." Garfield interjected while having himself some lasagna. "Come, eat with us. You'll feel better."
"I appreciate that and will take your offer!" Shrek laughed for he felt in a better mood being with his iconic cartoon friends.
