AN: This is an idea of what if Izuku not only had a combination of his parent's quirks, but didn't know he did for reasons that are explained bellow. It will have Izuku paired with Ryukyu who is the same age as Mirio, Nejire, and Amajiki and all four are close with Izuku.

Power of a Dragon (Working Title)

-All Might-

Mentally cursing up a storm at the damn sludge villain that made him chase through the maze-like sewers and waste so much of his limited time, All Might kept following the sound of their liquid body. "Quit struggling! This should only take about forty-five seconds and then you won't have to feel anything every again. And don't worry, I'll take good care of your body." Eyes burning with rage, All Might threw a punch, wind rushing to blow open the manhole cover as he burst forth, ready to stop the sludge villain from their murder when he saw the child that they were attempting to suffocate scream, a mighty torrent of flame shooting forth, boiling away the sludge that was forcing its way down their throat. Quickly snapping out of his surprise, All Might hastily gathered the stunned sludge villain up, forcing him into empty bottles before he could recover. Looking back at the child, he saw the kid gripping his hair, eyes wide and panicked.

"Don't worry young man!" he boomed out, laughing heartily to hopefully put the poor boy's mind at ease, "You won't get in trouble for using your quirk. If need be, I'll tell the police I gave you authorization to do so." It would be stupid to have a child's future ruined by those laws for saving his own life.

"But I'm not supposed to have a quirk!" the kid yelled "How did I breathe fire?!"

Paling, and praying this wasn't the work of All for One, All Might pulled the boy to his feet, "Young man, you need to come with me so we can figure this out. I have a friend in the police who can help us. And don't worry, I stand by what I said, you're not in trouble. Now hold on!" tucking the kid under his arm, he leapt towards Tsukauchi's precinct.

"All Might!" turning, he saw Sir Nighteye and Grand Torino hurrying over, having sent them, as well as Nezu, a message the moment he got to Tsukauchi's precinct, "You said you had word about 'him'. I thought he was dead?!"

"Mirai, calm down, it turns out the situation doesn't have to do with that monster." All Might chuckled sheepishly, "I tried telling you both, but the signal wouldn't send out the message."

"So, what did happen that got you so worked up?" Gran Torino raised a questioning eyebrow as All Might shuddered, still terrified of the tiny old man.

"I saved a child earlier who used their quirk when a villain was attempting to murder them and use their body as a suit to escape." He explained, the other two hero's understandably sickened by the notion, "Afterwards he went into a panic attack, wondering how he did that as he said he didn't have a quirk."

"And how is that not All for One?" his old sidekick demanded.

"Because I found out that someone else was committing some crimes in relation to that poor boy." All Might's grin became an angry scowl as he glanced over to the side room where young Midoriya was sitting with his mother, detective Tskuauchi, and a trauma councilor as they coaxed the boy into telling just how badly he'd been treated outside of home. "One of his classmates has an incredibly powerful quirk, the ability to create a nitroglycerin like substance as his sweat that he can detonate at will. Another of their classmates, recognizing that this child has the power to be a famous pro hero, used his own quirk on young Midoriya who was this explosion boy's best friend. This second boy had a nullification quirk, much like Eraserhead, albeit functioning differently. This child had a limit to how many people he could nullify but it would last as long as he wanted it to. With that child's father being a quirk doctor willing to help his son in the scheme to replace Midoriya at this other child's side. The quirk factor kept growing under that restraint though and in this stressful situation, it broke free letting his quirk out. Tskuauchi and his doctors started to figure it out when they saw he did have the single jointed toe that wouldn't be there, even if All for One had given him a quirk."

"At least it was a false alarm." Sir Nighteye let out a sigh of relief, "But what is the boy's quirk, you mentioned fire breath?"

"He can breath and manipulate flames." All Might laughed, "A truly powerful gift! He'll have to work hard to get into U.A. like he wants to but Plus Ultra isn't the motto for nothing!"

"…All Might…that boy looks almost ready to enter Highschool already." Gran Torino deadpanned.

"Well…he's in his final year of Middle School." All Might admitted sheepishly.

"I'll call up my Intern Mirio." Sir Nighteye sighed, "I suppose he and his friends would be able to help him. But you are going to suck it up and go ask Endeavor for advice on training someone with a fire quirk."

"Assuming he'll even talk to me." All Might snorted, he may act silly at times, but he wasn't dumb enough to not miss how much the number two despised him.

"Stop whining and go!" Gran Torino rolled his eyes before glancing at Nighteye "But why are you so invested?"

"A few reasons. Firstly, a child with a powerful quirk and no experience controlling it due to these circumstances is a dangerous combination, therefore as a hero it is my duty to help to protect both himself and others. Secondly, this will be good experience for Mirio and his friends when they become pro heroes and get their own interns and sidekicks. Thirdly, this will be a big story. I am well aware that All Might will be mentioned, and he is not someone to leave this child under these circumstances so I'm positive he will be keeping an eye on Young Midoriya. Therefore, having my student who I believe is a viable candidate to be all Might's Successor around often will make All Might here have to at least take the time to see his capabilities."

"…You know, I'm really glad you never became a villain Mirai." All Might groaned at the calculating man's admission.

"Thank you. Now shoo."

AN: So yeah, Izuku bonding with the 'Big Four' and their hero mentors. Still not sure who will be the mentor for Ryukyu or Nejire if Ryukyu is a student now so all suggestions open!
