Thanksgiving Surprise-Ch 8
Derek woke up first the next morning, he smiled down at the beautiful woman sleeping beside him and whispered, "today is going to be filled with surprises for you baby girl, I hope that you're ready for them". He the grabbed a piece of paper and pencil from the bedside table and scribbled a note before getting up and walking over to the closet where his baby girl had put her clothes in when they got there the first day.
He picked out an outfit and smiled as he walked it over and laid it down on his side of the bed, he then put the note on top of the clothes and grabbed his clothes and quietly left the room with his clothes in his hands. As he stepped out into the hall he smiled as he could smell the amazing smells that were coming from the kitchen, that meant that some of his surprises were already there and making themselves very useful by helping with dinner.
Penelope was having an amazing dream, she was dreaming of her and Derek getting married, he looked so handsome in his tux and standing beside him in the backyard at Fran and Dave's was Reid and Hotch and standing across the aisle from them were JJ and Emily both smiling at her as they stood in their places waiting on her to join them.
She then looked beside her and saw that Dave was walking her up the aisle, he had a huge smile on his face, she could actually feel herself tighten her arm around his as they got closer and closer to Derek and the others. When they finally reached the others Dave kissed her on the cheek and said, "you look beautiful kitten", he then put her hand in Derek's before walking over to join Fran and the others.
As she stood there looking at him she still couldn't believe this was happening, was she ready for this, was she ready to marry Derek, was she ready to spend the rest of her life with him and she smiled and thought to herself, "yes I am". The sights and smells around her made her smile even bigger because they were getting married in front of Fran's flower garden and the scent of the roses and lilacs really smelled heavenly.
Penelope could then feel herself being pulled from the dream, she opened her eyes and saw that she was alone in the big bed, she then looked and saw an outfit laying on the bed and on top of the clothes was a note. She picked up the note that read, "enjoy a nice hot bubble bath, then change into this outfit and join me downstairs sweetness, today is going to be filled full of surprises for my girl, I just hope that you're ready for them, Love your hotstuff".
She threw the covers back and grabbed the clothes and headed into the bathroom, she smiled as she saw that the tub was already filled with bubbles and as she dipped her toes in the water she said, "ahhhhhh yesss, it's still nice and hot". Penelope then sank down into the bubbles and sighed again as the water cascaded all over her exhausted and aching body, as she laid her head back against the tub she couldn't help but blush as memories of her night together with Derek came back in vivid details.
After soaking for a few more minutes she got out of the tub, dried off, then put the clothes on and fixed her hair before turning sideways in the mirror and saying, "not bad Garcie, now let's go join hotstuff and get these surprises started". She walked out of the bathroom and across the bedroom floor and when she stepped out into the hall she couldn't help but smile and close her eyes as she was hit with the wonderful aroma that was coming from downstairs.
She made her way down the stairs, she still couldn't believe that she was here with Derek and that they were now lovers, she had dreamed of being with him practically since the day they met and now they were together and she couldn't wait to see what else Derek and fate had in store for her during this Thanksgiving holiday.
Penelope looked up when she heard somebody call her name, she smiled when she heard the entire family say, "Happy Thanksgiving Garciaaaaaaaaa", she covered her mouth and said, "y y you're all here b b but how?", Derek walked across the room and kissed her lips gently and said, "surprise sweetness", she said, "so this is my surprise, you surprised me with everybody, thank you handsome, thank you, thank you".
He laughed and said, "this is the first of your surprises and trust me when I say that the best is yet to come", she was them bombarded with hugs from everybody, especially Henry and Jack who were currently wrapped around her legs. She sighed happily as she welcomed the loving hugs from her one of a kind family, to say that she was blessed to have an amazing family would indeed be an understatement.
