Harry slept on the floor again that night. Frognal was on the bed next to him, and Hermanonie was on the other side of the room behind a curtain. She was the only girl in red group so she had a special curtain around her bed to give her privacy. It was protected by magic so that only she could open and close it. It also helped keep Frognal's smell out of her airspace.

Harry asked Ghosty if he could read.

"Of course I can Harry, I may be a ghost but I'm civilised"

Harry felt a little sad again. He must not be civilised. He must hide this from his friends and peers. If they learn of his weaknesses, he could be more of a victim than Frognal. Harry liked Frognal, but wouldn't like to be Frognal.

The sky was dark and the stars were bright. Harry thought he could see someone flying in the distance. He got close to the window and focused on the figure. It looked like McDonaldall. But what was she doing? She looked towards Harry and then zoomed into the sky and disappeared from sight. Harry felt a chill. He fell asleep and dreamed a strange dream.

In his dream there was a large figure. It felt powerful and Harry felt drawn towards it. He felt like he was crawling through a tunnel. It felt dark and claustrophobic. Harry wasn't sure what this dream could mean but he thought asking Ghosty in the morning could be a good idea. But maybe Ghosty already knows. He can tell a lot about Harry without Harry saying anything. Harry had begun to think that Ghosty could read his mind. Maybe that's just his imagination creating strange ideas of what magic could do.
