In the three days that he had been asleep, several other background characters had had some character development. There was Nigel BenjaminButton. He was a strange one. It turned out that his parents were suffering from PTSD and left him at the castle so they could relax a little. He didn't explain much beyond that they had PTSD and had just left him by the castle door. It appeared that people other than Harry had also been left outside of doors. Sometimes parcels were left outside of his old house's door. It was highly unlikely though as he heard Purina complain about a man named "Hermes".
Another new addition to his cast of friends was Kingston NutsAndBolts. He was there. Harry exchanged greetings with them both and left them to sit with Frognal.
"Where's Hermanonie?" Harry asked.
"She's started skipping breakfast. I think Maldono called her a MunchBox or something slightly rude." Frognal answered.
Harry missed Hermanonie's presence. She was a good buffer between him and Frognal's smell at times, although it was also rare for her to sit between them. He likes those times. He felt comfort at those times.
Harry felt full after his breakfast. He had eaten two slices of toast this morning. He was still not used to eating very much. This was convenient as it cost the castle less money and the slaves didn't have to make as much food. Slaves were the cooks within the castle. Slaves who were neither paid nor treated well. Frognal had often considered applying for a job as a slave, but that was because he lacked intelligence and thought it would be "fun" to work with others who can't escape him and his foul smell.
Frognal often gazed into the distance with a blank expression. Harry assumed this was due to his brain overloading from basic stimuli. Harry didn't exactly think that, because he too was not intelligent, but it serves as some sort of explanation for this strange behaviour.
