Today, there is a new chapter (IT'S BEEN SO LONG!) and it's a review suggested chapter for Prohibited Power, by my buddy, Griffin Strange. I want everyone to go over to his profile and go check out the story, Prohibited Power, as well as all of his other stories. He tried very hard, and I know this, because I used to beta read for him as his #1 Fan. Thank you, and enjoy the chapter.
Chapter 6: Power
It was a normal day in the theater as the audience summoned by Lego was forced to try and find ways to entertain themselves as they waited for Lego to return. Currently, however, it seems that something urgent has come up as Bardock also wasn't in the theater.
"Alright, so as it turns out, we need to find something to do," Nezu began, gaining the attention of everyone in the room. "Especially since something has come up with Lego and his kind."
"I wonder if today is meant to be a day off from reacting?" Mineta questioned aloud.
"Whatever it may be, we still need to find something to do, so I have devised a tournament bracket," Nezu continued. "I have chose 16 individuals, unwillingly of course, so they can compete in a tournament fight so the rest of us can watch as they brutally murder each other."
"Wouldn't this be kinda one sided though?" Stain asked. "Some of us have more years of experience compared to others."
"Exactly! That's why I chose people who have little experience!" Nezu said. "Up first is Spinner of the League of Villains and Reiko of Class 1-"
The door then was kicked open, the door breaking off it's hinge and hitting Nezu in the face, crushing his body. Everyone turned to look at Lego, who had a smile. "What's up bitches?!" Lego shouted. "We got a realm in mind today! A special one too!"
Nezu, somehow, managed to get the door off of him. "That's great and all, but why did the door fall off its hinge?"
"Don't know," Lego said, unaware the Hatsume had tampered with the door on purpose. "But I'll fix it before the next chapter!"
"So, today's meant to be a special realm, or whatever?" All For One asked.
"Yep, hence why Bardock won't be joining us today," Lego said. He pulled out his phone and then said, "We're ready." He hung up. "Alright, prepare to meet our guest today."
"I mean, it's probably Tale again," Bakugo commented.
Lego laughed. "No, no not at all! It's someone else. An old friend of mine. And an overall great dude! Seriously, he has some great writings!"
"Well, then who is it?" All For One asked.
All the lights in the theater went off, a perfect silence invaded the room. Something was approaching behind Lego, a very tall humanoid with glowing purple eyes.
The being walked next to Lego, it had no mouth and no nose... suddenly the lights returned to their original state and the weird individual turned into a human wearing a trench coat and a very odd scarf.
"I am so sorry! Really, I was busy on a project and I forgot to change and-and W-well do not mind the giant black spike outside and the-... uh... I hope the car outside doesn't belong to anyone here," the stranger looked next to him and noticed Lego. "Oh! Hi Lego! Nice place!"
"Griffin!" Lego hugged the man, as if familiar with him. He looked at everyone. "Everyone, this is Griffin Strange! My first author friend!"
"Huh, guess it wasn't Tale," Bakugo said.
"So he's a Realmcrafter like Tale?" Ochaco asked.
"Realmcrafter?" Griffin asked out loud when he heard Ochaco speaking, then he whispered to Lego, "Is this how you explained our work with fic-... I-I mean their universe?"
"My buddy Tale is what got her into the whole Realmcrafter thing," Lego whispered back. "I didn't hold back anything. I was as blunt as I could. Not to mention the DevilArtemis Fic and also AQQAAD."
"Ah I see." Griffin seemed to be "away" for a few seconds, he stared at the ground while his face was displaying a wide smile.
Izuku dared to intervene during this awkward situation "Is he-"
"Well well well! I apologise I was trying to figure out something but I will just finish it later." The other Realmcrafter snapped out of his absence and walked toward the characters, especially near Izuku. "As Lego explained, I am Griffin Strange, another "Realmcrafter" if you wish to call me by this title even though I hate titles. I would like to explain a few things before we "watch" the next world."
At this point Griffin looked less enthusiastic and progressives stopped smiling "I-I... I uh... I would like to apologise first to most of you, please keep in mind that I never had any intention to play with your lives and that I never tried to take away your free will, I just wanted to push you in a certain direction to obtain a certain outcome and... It's-it's just getting awkward isn't it ? Hehehe... he... Le-Lego please take over. I-I'm going to find a seat or something."
"Alright," Lego said, realizing that Griffin might have stage fright. "Griffin is a good man, but what he means by 'push you', I think he is referring to the world we're about to react to, which... I'm not gonna spoil!" He walked to his seat in the front row. "So sit down, get comfy because the world is about to be played!" Lego then pulled out his handy dandy remote, before looking at Griffin and giving him a thumbs up, signaling a good job. He then pressed play.
"I hope I'm not late," asked a man as he approached a bench in a park.
"Not at all, I arrived just a minute ago." answered a teenager who was sitting on the same bench, it was late, around 7 PM. The air was just hot and the park completely empty, everyone left half an hour ago... but the teenager didn't want to admit that he had been waiting all this time.
"Well then... tell me how was school today?" The usual question.
"...harsh... as always..." The usual answer. "I guess you won't tell me about you this time too." Why even ask? This man was a complete mystery.
"Maybe one day," he answered as neutral as possible before sitting next to the boy.
"That's what you always say... our meetings have been going on for almost 5 years now."
"Humhum... and each time you managed to pull out a story, I feel like an old man talking to his grandson in some kind of retirement home, hahaha." He always tried to be funny, sometimes he was... sometimes he was simply awkward or creepy, it wasn't a problem though, the teenager knew this man was a good person.
"Aren't you?" He ironically retorted.
"I'm young in my head, my body however, despite looking young is old... very old, and... I still have to keep this mask, it's not like I could go everywhere. I would scare someone to death with this." True to his words he was always wearing this massive black mask in the form of a skull with a lot of tubes around it.
"All For One is talking to Young Midoriya?!" All Might exclaimed, surprised at this instant development.
"And apparently it's been happening for five years…" Aizawa added, also noting how the in-world Izuku said that school was 'harsh as always'. He looked at Bakugo, who immediately looked away, trying to look at anywhere but his teacher.
"I still wonder how people manage to not notice it," wondered the boy.
"Of course you know how... or you are going to find out right? Please go ahead, I do LOVE when you look smart in front of me." Izuku looked at the ground for about a minute, some quirks were more obvious than others, and at some point it was straight up illogical.
"...a quirk? ...it isn't passive then... but... if you use it in the streets then you can't really control it's effects either so... my theory is that you can only suppress it... like you are doing with me right now, am I right?" But the teen was always closer from the truth than what he estimated.
The man shrugged. "Almost."
"Where was I wrong?" Izuku knew this was a taunt.
"The part of the streets, I can't stay out for a long time you know this fact."
"This is true. If I used a Quirk too long, I wouldn't be able to go out for long unnoticed," All For One confirmed. An hour at the very most. Izuku is quite the detective.
"Ah... yes... that injury, you never showed it to me Sensei..." Izuku remarked as he gestured at the mask of the man.
"You wouldn't like what you could see if I ever removed it." The man looked above him, Izuku didn't understand what he was looking at, he could hear something in the tree... then he realised it was only a couple of birds.
"It's happening soon..." reminded Izuku.
"Oh, this famous school exam? UA... I'm still saying it is dangerous... even for someone like you." Another taunt, however it wasn't meant to be aggressive, but rather to make sure Izuku was determined.
"I-I still believe that I can be a hero... I haven't changed my mind."
"Even without a quirk?" This sharp question definitely hurt the boy, the man felt guilt "...sorry I didn't mean to say that this way."
"So Deku's Quirkless in this world upon also knowing All For One like a friend," Overhaul commented. "That's interesting. Something you wouldn't expect."
"Actually…" Lego began, getting most of everyone's attention. "Who said he was Quirkless?"
"No... I understand what you wanted to say but... I won't use quirks that do not belong to me... I will use my power only when it's necessary." Izuku showed his hands, wrapped in gloves, he liked them a lot... but they also reminded him of what he could do.
"You are handicapping yourself, that's what I always tell you, but still... I can't understand why you refuse to use it... You only did once after all." The teenager didn't answer, instead he looked the other way.
"We are not so different... you also keep saying this, but we are not the same, you told me how you used it but it doesn't mean I want to be exactly like you." Izuku answered back with a gentle tone.
"You're kidding me!" All Might exclaimed. "You have to be kidding me! He has All For One as well?!"
Izuku blinked a few times. "Huh, no wonder why people might think I'm All For One's son, especially in world's like this one."
"I wonder what Shigaraki would say to this," Dabi commented off topically.
"Probably something like, 'But that's bullshit! I should have Sensei's Quirk and not that brat!'" Spinner replied, doing a terrible impression on Shigaraki, clearly mocking him as he and Debi snickered.
Lego blinked. "Well, Shigaraki might have a field day.
The man huffed... Izuku couldn't discern with the mask if it was deception or if he simply accepted.
"Well... I hope you know what you are doing... just-... don't hurt yourself, you became someone really important to me."
"...I won't let you down sir."
The man shrugged again "Sir, hehe... Of course you won't my dear Izuku... Well, here is an advice, at U.A. the entrance exam is literally destroying a bunch of robots in order to get points."
"R-robots? But-... how do you even know that?" Izuku was stunned, literally.
"Hahaha it's not like it's a secret... you haven't been digging that much, anyway I just wanted to say that wreaking havoc on some poor and weak robots isn't very heroic."
"Or he has a spy in UA and he's still a villain up to no good," All Might commented, clearly thinking All for One was trying to do something bad.
"Is that really your go-to, All Might?" All For One questioned. "Assuming I'm constantly up to no good?!"
"Yes it is!" All Might retorted.
Izuku saw that obviously the man wanted to tell him something...
"...you think it hides another part of the exam?"
"Oh I don't think..." he didn't say anything else, he really wanted Izuku to figure out the solution by himself.
"Not very heroic... so there IS another exam… right?"
The old man laughed softly and stood up, he stretched a bit and started to walk away.
"Who knows? You will tell me tomorrow right?"
"I won't have the results tomorrow."
"I was talking about how the exam went! And who are you kidding? You will get it... good luck." He left... yes tomorrow would definitely be a memorable day... though he didn't know in which way.
Mineta laughed. "Well I think it's safe to say to say that All For One is just trying to be a genuine kind pers-"
"Utter one more word, and no Recovery Girl alive will be able to heal what I do to you!" All Might shouted, clearly pissed off.
Mineta was silent. Then he looked at Kirishima. "So, have you been working out? Because you look jacked!"
"I don't see what's wrong with this world's All For One because he just seems like an overall nice guy," Kirishima said, ignoring Mineta.
Izuku just finished his breakfast and was getting ready to go out, now he just needed his pair of gloves... but he could only find one.
"...Izuku." Called his mother, she was next to the entrance door of their apartment, holding the other glove in her hand. "I-I just wanted to say that I was proud of you... no matter what happens, you are my son and-and nothing will ever change that, I-... I always tried to support you as much as I could, maybe I was bad at my role, maybe I never knew exactly how to help you... when we found out what was your quirk I-... I was scared... scared that you would never be able to have a normal life."
"I'm so sorry..." it was such a long time ago.
"So I do have a Quirk," Izuku said, getting further confirmation.
"I think I know why I took a liking to your student, All Might," All For One said, which slightly made All Might a little more mad.
"...this quirk was just-... it wasn't bad, no quirk is good or bad, only the user is. When this incident with Katch- I mean Katsuki happened I feared the worst... in the end no one remembers what happened, on that day I knew that you would never be able to use this quirk without being considered as a villain, a monster... and still you never gave up, today you are giving everything you have and-... and-..." his mother gave everything she had for him... Izuku loved her... more than anyone else.
"Mom… you can stop... you didn't have to prepare all of this for me... in fact it's me that would be completely destroyed if I can't come back and get a positive result... I'm scared, but you know I have met someone just like me... we talked a lot together and today I think I'm ready."
"Your friend... I trust you Izuku... please, if you make it to U.A. make sure to bring him here."
"Hehe, I don't think he will accept but I will definitely ask him... I should really go now." Bringing back this one person to his house was probably not a "good" idea, but if his mother never let him down she would be able to tolerate someone like him right?
"I probably wouldn't," All For One said. "I am a terrifying man after all."
"I wonder what that kid's mom would even be like," Dabi wondered.
"Probably like when my mom met All Might when he was asking for our parents' consent to put us into the dorms," Jiro spoke. "Terrified and surprised."
"That's not, inaccurate…" Lego said.
"You still have two hours to be at U.A."
"You never have too much time," he answers, grabbing his backpack before leaving his apartment... "Not so heroic..." And in one night he still hasn't figured it out.
"Heroic... what's heroic?"
He had to take the tramway in order to get to U.A. ... he kept trying to understand what was the point of this exam... of course people-... people had to prove that their quirk were useful but... but it isn't all what makes a hero.
It simply doesn't make sense... this kind of exam is simply disgusting and unfair, what if someone doesn't have a quirk suited for fighting but-...
The tram stopped, Izuku had reached his destination.
"Well, this should be nice," Lego said.
"Yeah, this other Midoriya is about to take the UA entrance exam, and while deceiving the people that he doesn't have a Quirk while he secretly does… this should be very interesting!" Compress said extremely excited.
"Why are you so excited?" Spinner asked.
"Because deception is my best skill, so I want to see how he performs with his skills of deception!" Compress answered.
The gates of U.A were massive, the school was almost a small city by itself... or a big military base, depending on your point of view. But right after the gate the inside was more welcoming, a bunch of trees with pink leaves, some were falling with the wind.
He stopped for a moment to enjoy the view, but he didn't pay attention to the people walking around him... especially one who had planned to push him away.
"OUT OF MY WAY!" Izuku was pushed aside and he almost fell down... his former best friend did not even look at him after that, he just kept walking. The other students around them were either ignoring what happened or already losing interest and making their way inside.
"Was that brat like this before he entered UA?" Stain asked. "If he has and still is, I'm gonna kill him." Bakugo simply glared at Stain, explosions rippling across his palms.
"Just try me Voldemort!" Bakugo retorted.
"Roasted!" Lego called out randomly.
"CAN IT!" Stain and Bakugo said at the same time.
"Are you okay?" That however was unusual, Izuku looked behind him and saw a hand.
"Ye-yes I'm fine, it was nothing thank y-" Izuku grabbed the hand and as he stood up he realised that this hand actually belonged to a girl... a very cute girl with brown hair and round cheeks, with a marvelous pair of eyes.
"I don't even know what this kind of person is doing here... do you know him?"
"I-I do... but do-don't worry... it's not important," Izuku had to go further, or else he would regret it, the most obvious option he had was to ask a general question "yo-you are here for the exam too right?"
"Hehe yes... actually it's great to be able to talk with someone else to-... well, to release some pressure right?"
"In this situation, it would almost seem like they both are friends to the outsider who doesn't know them," Nemoto commented, making several members of the audience nod.
"That, or that they were dating," Mina whispered under her breath.
"I HEARD THAT!" Lego shouted out randomly again, making Mina flinch.
"You don't know anyone here either I guess." Katsuki was the only other student from Aldera who expressed his intention to take the entrance exam of U.A... Yet Izuku managed to "bump" into him in less than a minute after he stepped on the school's ground.
"Sadly no hehe, I'm Ochaco Uraraka." He got her name, at this point he would probably be able to accept his failure, he already accomplished something even harder.
"Izu-Izuku Midoriya, th-that's my name, y-yes... we still have some time before going to the conference room... so... how about we stick together?"
"Sure! I was going to ask the same thing".
Well... Sensei was right, being himself was hard but ohhhh how it felt good... and wow he actually spoke to a girl? And got her name? In less than one minute? He was proud enough to feel proud multiple times in a row... or he was probably becoming crazy.
"...hello?" He didn't realise that now Ochaco Uraraka was standing in front of him with a slightly worried look.
"Uh what- oh... I spaced out didn't I? Please don't tell me I said weird things."
"N-no you didn't say anything... still we should go now, just in case we get lost, this place is gigantic."
"The famous Midoriya Muttering will never be forgotten," Lego commented, smirking, making Izuku bow his head and shake it while Uraraka patted Izuku's back.
"How long has his muttering even existed? Has he done it since he was a kid? Or does he do it whenever he's thinking? So many questions!" Nejire said, standing up a little bit.
"Nejire, how about we calm down and just watch the realm," Mirio said, putting his hands on her shoulders and sitting her back down in her chair.
"Fine…" Nejire said.
"Yeah... I wonder if every door is as great as the main gate"
"Most likely yes... I'm so scared, I wonder what the exam is all about."
"...robots..." Izuku said softly.
They kept walking, Ochaco didn't quite catch what Izuku had said yet after a whole minute this one word sounded really important.
"What? You said robots?"
"Y-yeah... a good friend of mine told me what it would be... he didn't tell me everything though, that would be cheating... I guess?"
"R-Robots then... I-I think I can deal with this, my quirk is called Zero Gravity, I can suppress the impact of gravity on anything I touch... almost anything, it has to be solid and I have a weight limit, and also... well not a time limit but I get sick if I do it for too long."
Izuku had to resist... such a quirk was simply too interesting, it had so much possibilities, what if she could hold her quirk long enough? Would the object or the person end up deriving somewhere, who knows, in space? To the moon? Could she use it on herself?
"Yes, yes, and yes," Ochaco said instantly. "Was I really this interesting?"
"At the time, yeah," Izuku said. "N-Not that your Q-Quirk isn't i-interesting anymore! I-It still is!"
"And you, what's your quirk Izuku?"
"M-mine? ...well I-... I-"
"...is it related to the gloves? If it's awkward we can talk about something else you know, I'm not forcing you"
"I-... yes sorry I'd rather not talk about my-... my quirk yes..."
"I bet if he didn't say Quirk, he would say curse," All For One said.
"Probably," Overhaul agreed. "He very well just might call it a curse."
"YOU CAN BURN IN HELL FAGGOT," Lego shouted at Chisaki. "YOU LITERALLY TOLD ERI THAT HER QUIRK WHICH CAN SAVE FUCKING LIVES THAT IT WAS A QUIRK AS A WAY TO GET HER TO STAY WITH YOU SO SHE WOULDN'T MAKE YOU KILL PEOPLE, DESPITE THE FACT YOUR PLANS WOULD HURT PEOPLE REGARDLESS OF IF SHE STAYED OR NOT!" This made little Eri's eyes widened, as she curled up into a ball and looked like she was about to cry.
"After this," Aizawa suddenly started. "I'm gonna beat the crap out of you, you stupid ass god."
"Try me," Lego said.
They kept heading toward the conference room, they didn't talk much more on their way, they mostly asked each other about their schools, exchanging phone numbers, planning to have lunch together eventually... It felt so strange especially for Izuku.
According to the schedule the written exams had to last for three hours but the physical exam however had no special indication.
Anyway, once they reached the conference room, which was in fact a gigantic amphitheatre, they both received a seat number and a subject for the written exam. Ochaco looked rather confident, she could since the written exam wasn't necessary to be received... according to the schedule again, who knows why the staff of U.A. still use this exam if the results do not matter.
Izuku's subject concerned math, history and... some kind of question about a hostage situation... heroic philosophy? He could face math and history but... damn this last part, there is no perfect answer for such a question, he would just have to take the best option...
"There are many ways I could answer this question," Izuku said as he started muttering. "For instance-"
"Stop it!" Lego said as he tapped him on the head with a clipboard. "Get some help!"
"Why did you hit Midoriya with a clipboard?!" Iida questioned.
"Because I am a memer," Lego began. "And it is my duty to meme! Hence why there will be a very memey chapter!"
"Please tell me that's a joke," All For One began. "PLEASE TELL ME THIS IS A JOKE!" He looked at Griffin. "Is he serious?!"
Griffin sighed. "I have no control over Lego, sorry. His universe, his rules... but hey, keep in mind there is at least one version of you that isn't trapped with him and forced to support his jokes."
"If you're talking about the DevilArtemis Universe AFO, he's also forced to deal with my shit. Hence, the DevilArtemis Fanfiction!" Lego said.
All For One sighed, before grabbing his own head, and snapping it, killing himself and saving himself for at least a few minutes to escape Lego.
At the end of the written exam Izuku considered that he did great, he managed to find Ochaco again in an area outside that had been prepared so the students could have their lunch here.
Izuku waved at Ochaco and sat next to her "What was your subject?"
"Economy and chemistry... and something about quirk analysis."
"Oh, I would have liked this last one." He almost wanted to say "killed for'' but it might have sounded too weird and right now he did not want to lose Ochaco's... friendship? Can they even call that friendship?
"He is so awkward socially," Nejire commented. "He reminds me of Tamaki!"
"He's had such an easier time growing socially… I'm jealous," Tamaki said as he curled up in a ball and looked down.
"Quirk analysis?" She asked.
"Y-yes, I-I like to do that a lot! ...h-here look." Izuku took his most recent notebook from his backpack and showed it to Ochaco.
He regretted this choice, he could actually end up looking like a stalker.
"W-wow! It's so detailed!" She closed it after reading the fifth page and took a look at the cover. "Number fourteen?! You made that many?"
"Yes, I don't remember exactly when I started..."
"I think I started when I was 6," Izuku said, trying to actively remember. "Cause that's when I was getting good at writing and I started thinking about things."
"And if we should remember anything, it's that you shouldn't fuck with a Izuku Midoriya who is extremely smart," Nezu commented. "Because as we all know, they are extremely smart and we should never wish for a repeat of Villain Izuku." This drew the nods of many in the audience, along with a few villains."
"Blame All Might, he's a big reason for some villain Izukus," Lego said randomly while pointing at All Might. "Be lucky he gave his Quirk to Izuku."
Ochaco noticed that the cover was a bit burned. "Something happened? An accident?" She asked, pointing at the burned corner.
"Not exactly... I think we are going to be separated for the practical exam... so... good luck if that's the case... and if it's not well... we could help each other right?"
"But-... what about the points?"
"Don't worry about me... I won't try to steal yours... as long as you don't try to steal mine."
"Seems fair then."
"Fair, is not a word to describe the carnage known as the UA Entrance Exam," Aizawa said grimly.
"I concur," Shinso agreed.
A bell rang, lunch time had ended, all the examines converged to another conference room, still a massive one, very similar to the other in which Izuku had taken the written exam... but still an actual room made for conferences.
Izuku was far away from Ochaco once again, not a surprise, however he ended up being RIGHT next to Katsuki Bakugo, hopefully he wouldn't notice him... at least he didn't so far.
The rules of the practical exam were presented by Present Mic... and the conference quickly turned into a one man show. The rules were simple three types of robots, each giving one, two or three points upon destruction.
There was also one last robot but this one didn't give any point for it's destruction, instead Present Mic simply said that the examines should just avoid it if it ever appears…
"So I didn't do that thing to Midoriya this time," Iida commented.
"And Kacchan doesn't seem to be noticing me," Izuku added.
Once the conference ended the examines were sent to some kind of training facility inside U.A. Izuku didn't see Ochaco on his way, if he was right they were supposed to be in the same area according to the hero's instructions.
The facility was enormous, obviously U.A. really enjoyed doing everything more than seriously... The examines were given a few minutes so they could change, Izuku had a blue suit... he didn't think too much about what he should be wearing for the exam... except for the gloves.
"Sorry kid, but All For One works through gloves," All For One remarked. "Gloves won't work."
"Interesting," Izuku mumbled as he pulled out a notebook and wrote that down. "Very interesting…"
The other examinees sounded very "confident" about this exam, Izuku heard some discussing together as he was looking for Ochaco.
"At the very least we have one less rival to worry about... look how skinny he is"
"Yeah, compared to us he won't last for long... lucky us."
"I am suddenly wondering if the examinees are like this during the UA Entrance Exam," Nezu said, not pleased by the behavior he was seeing.
"They were," Izuku said honestly. "I was also super nervous too. That didn't help me either…"
Bastards... they shouldn't underestimate him... there! He found her again, she was trying to focus... he decided to wait befo-
"Hey you! Are you trying to interfere with everyone else on this exam?" Another examinee in a dark blue suit grabbed Izuku by the shoulder and dragged him further away from Ochaco.
"W-what?"
"Don't you see she is trying to focus?!" Either he was doing this on purpose or he really over reacted... anyway this was just getting annoying.
"Of course I'm seeing this, you never imagined that we could be friends or that I had no intention to disturb her at all?" Izuku really had to work out his character, his answer only made the other examine raise an eyebrow.
"If anything, the glasses kid did have the right idea," Stain said. "In his defense, he thought Broccoli was trying to disrupt her, and with no background information he was trying to do the right thing." A lot of people nodded at this statement.
"STAAAAAAAART!" This came out from absolutely nowhere, the massive doors of the training facility opened and everyone simply stood in front for five seconds.
Izuku knew he should go but he really wanted to find Ochaco first-
"What are you waiting for?" Asked a voice through a loudspeaker "Go on! You are wasting time!"
He didn't have much choice now, he was already far behind the group and he had lost Ochaco. Izuku ran after one of the groups and tried to find a part of the city where the robots were still active.
And it wasn't that simple... he had... no quirk, he couldn't simply smash the robots like most of the other examinees did and most of the time someone else would steal his robot.
Ten minutes later he still didn't have any points... It was now or never, he had to figure out what was the other part of the exam or else-
Suddenly a building collapsed right next to him and on top of it there was an enormous metal hand, no wonder it was the famous zero point robot. The other examinees started to run away and so did Izuku, they were all running toward the exit as if the exam was already finished but instead Izuku just hid between two buildings if only he could figure out what Sensei meant...
"Sacrifice," Izuku said. Then his head perked up. "The All For One in the realm meant that I needed to risk myself to save someone, which is also the Hero Points in the exam!"
"Indeed! The hidden part of the exam!" Iida said.
"H-help!" Someone yelled from the street in which the zero point robot had emerged... Ochaco. Izuku ran toward the position of the voice without thinking and his friend was here stuck under some rubble, half of her body was being crushed.
The robot was getting closer... no one was here to help her and the other examinees were just running away without paying attention to her calls.
"N-no ... that's not fair..." Izuku ran the opposite way.
The robot was getting closer, already his head was moving and aiming at Ochaco.
Ochaco was closing her eyes, she was giving up, Izuku yelled as loud as he was able to, he was going to need her help if she wanted to be saved. "OCHACO!"
She had her eyes wide open in the next second "I-Izuku?! I'm stuck!"
"I see that! You can't use your quirk?"
"N-no I-... I'm... exhausted."
She was losing consciousness either because she was panicking or because she couldn't breath considering her position. Izuku tried but he couldn't move the debris...
"A lesson about sacrifice... just this once-" Izuku quickly took off both of his gloves and took Ochaco's hand. "I'm making a choice, Sensei!"
"He's gonna take her Quirk!" All Might exclaimed.
"Hmm… I don't think so," All For One said, drawing several confused looks.
Izuku pressed Ochaco's other hand as well has his own other hand on the biggest piece of debris above her and the rubble started to float, just enough so he could get Ochaco away. She was right about the time limit, Izuku was already feeling sick.
"Nevermind," All For One said.
He managed to save her at the very last moment, the next second the robot's fist ended right where Ochaco was previously stuck.
"STOOOPPPPP! AND THAT WILL BE ALL THANK YOU ! SEE YOU IN TWO WEEKS!... MAYBE!" Announced Present Mic through the speakers once again.
The giant robot seemed to shut down, Izuku carefully dropped Ochaco in a safe spot and he collapsed on the groun... there he goes... he completely failed the exam but on the good side he saved someone and managed to make a friend...
"Places! Places everyone, and again they thought it was funny to just make it pop in the middle of nowhere and- Hey! It's not the time to sleep!"
Izuku stood up in surprise as a cane hit his head, it was an old woman. "R-recovery Girl!"
"Not everyday someone knows my name," Recovery Girl commented.
"Ah at least you know my name, what happened to your friend ?" She said pointing at the body of Ochaco with her cane.
"Sh-she got stuck under some rubbles and I think she lost consciousness because her body was being compressed."
"Good observation, here you are going to help me would you! Carry her... It's not like I'm going to do everything myself right?"
"Y-yes!"
Ochaco opened her eyes... she was on something soft... a bed? And the room she was in was completely white.
"Ah! See, I told you she was alright." An old lady's face appeared above Ochaco.
"W-where am I?" She asked, clearly confused by the drastic change of environment.
"You lost consciousness during the exam, so your friend over here carried you to the infirmary" she pointed her thumb behind her, Izuku was sitting on a chair and waving awkwardly.
"Izuku! Thank you!"
"Without him Nezu's toy would have crushed you. The rubble was already barely letting you breath and your ankle was getting twisted... don't worry though, right now you are in the exact same state as you were this morning."
"We really ought to get rid of those Zero Pointers. They're gonna get a student killed eventually," Aizawa said.
"I mean, he's not wrong. It did nearly kill Uraraka if it weren't for Midoriya," Midnight agreed.
"I'll… think about it…" Nezu replied, which didn't make the teachers feel any better.
"Thank you- h-hum m-miss-"
"Recovery Girl. I guess we will be seeing each other a lot if you manage to make a good score. I was watching but not judging so it's not up to me... but I can tell that you made a great performance." Ochaco was almost crying, she was feeling very exhausted but if she could move she would hug the nearest person next to her.
"R-really?! Thank you so much!" Her parents will be so happy.
"Stay here for five minutes please... I just have a few things to see before you leave."
"No problem... and you Izuku? How was the exam?"
"M-me? I-... hehe I think I did as great as you." His smile seemed honest but there was something off with it... "Well I-... oh no! I'm late! SorryIhavetoleavemymomiswaitingformebutIreallywantedtostayuntilyouwakeuplet'stexteachotherslatergoodbye!"
Ochaco only understood that his mom was waiting... but she was still impressed that he managed to put so much in ten seconds.
"How does he even do that?" Nejire questioned.
"However he does, he's obviously really fast at doing it," Toga said.
When Recovery Girl came back with a cup of water and a bunch of paper, the old woman wasn't smiling anymore.
"Something is wrong?" Asked Ochaco
"Oh... nothing really, he is right... he really did a great job, there are in fact two kinds of point systems... villain and hero points if you prefer... he got 0 villain points but by saving you when everyone else was running away he probably got the maximum amount of hero points."
"So... why do you look so sad?"
"Even with a hightsocre like this he won't get in." Recovery Girl gave Ochaco a cup of water with a pill.
"Why?"
"...he is quirkless." she answered after thinking about the question.
The End
"Ahem… ouch," Lego said. "So! That was chapter one of Prohibited Power."
"It says he's Quirkless, but he has All For One," Nezu said. "That's very interesting to think about."
"Maybe in the Prohibited Power world, All For One doesn't register as a Quirk. Or maybe it doesn't show because they do the toe test?" Izuku suggested.
"Maybe," Lego said. "Whatever the case, this means that this chapter is over!"
"That means I also have to... go... Well this was a one time thing, I guess I have to give some space for the others, I can always go do something else. I uh... I assume it was a pleasure to participate hehehe... Oh! Oh yes I almost forgot. Lego, is Endeavor in the room?"
"You bet that dumbass is here!" Lego said while pointing at Endeavor. "But don't tell him about Dabi's secret."
"Dabi's Secret?" Endeavor questioned while Dabi's eyes widened.
Griffin smiled, he turned back into the first form in which he arrived. He snapped his fingers and in the blink of an eye Endeavor was gone.
"What did you do to my father?" Shoto asked.
"I sent him to a place I call the Limbo... to give you an idea it's like... a big empty desert with floating-... things, I can assure you he won't die, however he might develop some post traumatic symptoms." Griffin then turned toward All Might and Katsuki. "I should also send you here but... I'm feeling generous today."
"What the hell have I done to you?!" Bakugo shouted.
"Maybe this realm had a reason behind it. You were in ass to Midoriya," Kirishima said.
"Actually I originally intend to-" Griffin then looked at Izuku and seemed to shiver for a second. "...nevermind, just keep in mind that if I let things happen it could have been worse."
Izuku's eyes widened and he bowed to Griffin. "Thank you for intervening then, Mr. Griffin!"
"You shouldn't... your "original" universe is much more stable than others... the version of you you just saw was just lucky to not end up with-" the author rubbed the back of his head. "I can't find the exact word and "psychopath" sounds a bit overkill."
"So... Toga," Lego said.
"N-no ! Of course no ! ... look there are great people out there who turn your universe into amazing sto- th-things ! Lord Wolfe, Banana ... well Lego I guess, even though his style is different. But not everyone is trying to give you the first role ... imagine for a short moment, take in account the outcome of each events in your life, and see how far you could be brought"
"Like rising to the underworld, taking all of our lives, and probably making all of the girls in here your bitch," All For One said, understanding what was going on.
Lego was surprised at All For One. "Wow... he literally just described the Anarchist right there. Except not exactly all of the girls, I don't think."
All of the females in the room blushed, and Izuku also blushed. "What the hell do you guys do to me?" Izuku asks.
"We put you through hell, and make your life either heaven or hell. Oh, and give you bitches," Lego said with a smile.
"Keep in mind I personally would never do... unless I'm really depressed and in need of uh... antidepressants"
Izuku sighed, starting to question his existence. "Well, I'mma go escort Griffin out of here," Lego said.
"Thank you, I have to meet with Orienor now, he is about to reach the silent expanse..."
"Lit!" Lego walked him out of the theater.
"Well, onto the tournament," Nezu said as a silence filled the room.
"MOTHERFUCKER, THAT WAS MY CAR!" They heard Lego yell.
I thank one and all for putting up with the enduring patience of waiting for this chapter. Also, I HAVE A DISCORD SERVER! /nhsjuK9Yk6
I look forward to seeing you all there!
