They had made it halfway to the apartment complex when another random hero encountered them. This one was slender, appeared to be a martial arts fighter in a white fighting uniform, and he simply got into a fighting stance. His black eyes narrowed with a silent rage, and his topknot of black hair was set with chopsticks to keep in place. There was a scowl on his clean shaven face, and he lacked sandals to show he went barefoot everywhere.

"Um…who are you?" Zenchu frowned.

"I am the B class hero, Fighting Foot!" the man said and did a dramatic leg lift to show off the bottom of his left foot. What Zenchu saw was how the underside of his foot was completely blackened with dirt and street grime.

"What?" Saitama asked with confusion.

"Ah…do you even wash your feet? I thought you'd at least have the decency to protect your feet with linen. Even sandals," Zenchu asked. That got Mitsumi to hiss with laughter and press into Saitama's neck.

"Anyways…um…that's nice. Take care," Saitama said with a small shrug and started to walk off. Then the hero jumped in front of him to stop him.

"I'm here to challenge anyone that thinks they are heroes!" Fighting Foot said. Saitama tilted his bald head at the guy. Mitsumi blinked at him and looked at Saitama when he looked at her with mild confusion.

"They are heroes. S class," Zenchu said and crossed his arms over his chest. Then he snapped his tail out to show he wasn't human. "I'm a monster, though. Friendly one. Yes, we exist. Neutral Grounds is our restaurant."

"Oh. That place?!" Fighting Foot grimaced. "It should be exterminated!"

"For what purpose? Two monsters are now human again," Mitsumi said with a small smile. "They wanted to be human."

"And that guy?!" the hero pointed at Zenchu.

"I'm not attacking anyone. Doesn't that say something?" Zenchu snorted. "Anyways, you should go somewhere else. We're going home."

"Not until I test your power!" the hero said and got ready to attack.

"Your turn, dear?" Mitsumi smiled.

"Yeah. I don't wanna know if he's wearing underwear or not," Saitama said, pressed a kiss to her mouth and brought up a hand to simply grab the man's foot when it was brought up to kick at him. He didn't even need to put Mitsumi down. Now the hero started to scream out his shock. "True heroes don't attack other heroes. Even with shows of strength. It's degrading. It's disgusting. And it's beneath a true moral standard."

"Okay! Okay!" the man cried. Saitama now let the man go. He fell over backwards and right onto the ground. Mitsumi frowned at this, but Zenchu was sniggering softly at the whole thing.

"Act like a hero. If you really want to show off what you're made of, you would have offered to assist with things. Not outright give a boast of strength to prove a point. That's stupid. And be glad I'm letting you walk away dressed as you are. My fiancée tends to shred clothing off of others to fully shame them," Saitama said with a neutral glare.

"Yeah…it's why I don't get into trouble anymore," Zenchu nodded. "Shall we go home, Lady Mitsumi?"

"Yes," she nodded.

"Ugh. Now I have foot dirt all over my glove," Saitama grimaced and got Zenchu laughing. "I don't want to touch you with it."

"Yeah. Take the glove off for now?" she asked. He nodded to do just that and started to walk off with her. Zenchu clucked his tongue at Fighting Foot and followed them both.

"Wait!" Fighting Foot said.

"Nope," Saitama said and kept walking.

"What can that girl do? Why is she so special?" the hero demanded.

"I'm marrying Saitama. That, in itself, is a super power," she grinned and pressed a loving kiss on Saitama's mouth.

"No! I challenge you!" he said and was quick to stand up. Now Saitama turned to face him with a puzzling look.

"Why?" Saitama had to ask.

"Girls should not be heroes!" he said defiantly.

"Hmm. Should we see if Inichi can bring Terrible Tornado here?" Zenchu asked. Instead, Saitama let Mitsumi down. Within five seconds, she had darted around the B class hero, let her deadly fans flick out and was quickly back in Saitama's arms like nothing happened. Then Saitama snapped his fingers for the man's top to simply fall apart like shredded paper.

"That's much better," Saitama smiled at her, pressed a kiss to her cheek and lifted her up in his arms. "Be glad she warns with clothing. Better that than your skin, eh? Anyways, see you around."

"Ah!" the man stood there in shocked silence.

"Shall we take a small nap?" she asked and snuggled into Saitama's shoulder. "Or should we watch some shows?"

"Hmm. Shows would be nice. You can snuggle me more," he nodded.

"Good," she beamed and pressed into him. They were able to get back home without any further interruptions, and they simply collapsed on the couch. Zenchu was able to clean off Saitama's glove first to hand back over before stretching out on the long couch with a contented sigh. An hour passed by neatly this way, and Mitsumi was lightly sleeping against Saitama's chest as he browsed through the channels.

"You plan to stay dressed up for the night market?" Zenchu asked.

"Possibly. Just to show that no one can mess with us," Saitama shrugged. At his phone ringing, he sighed and answered it. "Hello? Um…who is this? Sorry. No name, no talk. Bye."

"Hmm?" Mitsumi frowned and got a gentle pat to her back to calm her. When his phone rang again, he narrowed his eyes and put it on speaker.

"I wasn't done talking!" the angry man growled.

"Oh. Daiki? Why are you calling my fiancée?" Mitsumi frowned.

"Ah…" the man paused.

"It's my oldest brother. The one under Atsuko," she said.

"Okay. Now we have a name. Why are you calling my phone?" Saitama asked. Zenchu was already nudging Inichi.

"When do you plan to marry the pet?" Daiki sneered.

"Why did you feed her pet food?" Saitama asked.

"She was just a trapped dog! It was out of kindness! Why bother feeding her what normal people eat? It's a waste of food," Daiki snorted.

"Wait. That story he wrote…about pet owners eating food…with their pets…" Mitsumi blinked at the connection. Now Saitama's eyes widened. Zenchu hissed in disgust. Now Inichi was livid beyond words and sent the information to Sweet Mask. Inichi gave the report to Saitama directly.

"I was just informed that Sweet Mask is shredding your script," Saitama said with a neutral gaze on the television.

"What?!" Daiki said with shock.

"It deals with the abuse of my fiancée. He won't tolerate it," Saitama said calmly and accepted a soda from Zenchu. "Anyways, we're done. Good-bye."

"NO! Wait!" he pleaded.

"For what? You all just want me dead!" Mitsumi said.

"Let me talk," Saitama said and soothed her with a soft kiss. "As she said, you never cared about her. You just want her inheritance."

"Father screwed us over when he did what he did!" Daiki spat.

"By your words? Or your mother's words?" Saitama asked point-blank.

"Ah…" the man's voice wavered.

"Brainwashed," Zenchu sighed and shook his head.

"I'm not out for her inheritance. I fully fell in love with her because her family…the ones that should have been protecting her…gave her over to someone that fully abused her. And didn't care," Saitama said with a sudden edge in his tone. "I fell in love with her when I saw her inner strength to survive. Despite everything done to her. Did you know that, for a month, that asshole raped her?! Tore her to pieces every day! And it was all to spite all of you when you refused to share money if she died from it?!

"And then he had the gall to try and take her back after I freed her! So we went and found him. And I killed him. I only needed one punch to do it. He even turned himself into a monster! So, as you know, heroes kill monsters that willingly attack people. I'm a hero. I am S class and ranked at 3. It was painfully easy to wipe him out. Rather boring since I kill everything with one punch, anyways."

"Um…" Daiki said nervously.

"Furthermore, if you knew that she was the sole heir to your father's estate, you should have been kissing her ass!" Saitama snapped at him now. "Instead you punish her?! You piece of shit! And I bet you knew that your mother murdered your father! Over money! Money! You know what? I'm going to marry Mitsumi. I'm going to cherish her. I'm going to protect her. I'm going to love her more and more with each passing day from the strength she always shows me. No matter how much she revealed from her suffering, it proves to me how pure and amazing she really is. On top of that, I'm going to use the funds that she has to hunt your sorry asses down and bring you all to justice! You can't hide from me!"

The phone disconnected and Saitama set the phone aside. Now he flicked the channel to cartoons, sipped his opened soda and let Mitsumi rest fully on him as though nothing was wrong. Zenchu was in a deep conversation with Inichi on what just happened.

:Verdict?: Zenchu asked.

:Guilty. He tried to bluff. He failed. Saitama did mention a few things that shocked him, though. He was using his mother's words. Not his own. In truth…he actually felt bad about Mitsumi's torment. It feels…as though he didn't know what was going on. But…how? In the end, he was listening to what his mother said. I doubt he would have any courage to step forward to apologize. Even then, I doubt Lady Mitsumi would accept it.: Inichi sighed.

:That fucker had several chances to step in and fix things. If he truly cared about her, he would have. He's forfeit to me.: Zenchu snorted. :He could have hidden her away. Rescued her from that schmuck. Stepped in and stopped things. He didn't. He's a fucking coward. He could have even voiced out how his own mother killed his father! He's fucking neutered by his mother!:

:I know he is. He breaks things to feel better. He tried to break Mr. Saitama. I think Mr. Saitama broke him instead. He feels intense remorse and is completely rethinking on what he did. As well as how his life was. His shame actually holds no bounds. Oh…dear…:

:What?:

:He…get Lady Mitsumi and Mr. Saitama back to Neutral Grounds! Now!: Inichi urged. Zenchu sat up, grabbed the remote and turned off the television.

"Inichi said we need to go the restaurant again. Now," Zenchu frowned.

"Fine," Saitama sighed and finished off his soda. Mitsumi yawned and stood up to stretch before letting Saitama gather her up in his arms to carry her. The moment the three were outside the home, they were carried back in a blue bubble. "Huh. Must be important…"

"Yeah," Zenchu nodded and led them into the restaurant the moment they arrived. Saitama carried Mitsumi back to their table, and he noticed that Rendor and Tatsumaki were also sitting at a table now from Inichi's report.

"Another idiot is showing up?" Tatsumaki asked while eating fried ice cream with crushed fortune cookie bits.

"Apparently," Rendor sighed and shared the delicate treat with her.

"This is disturbing," Kamiko frowned and let Genos move behind her to let her lean into him.

"I am fully aware," Genos nodded. "We can only bear witness."

"I know," she agreed. Then she glanced over when Tacki brought out a box of fabrics and sewing supplies to set near a back table to work on. Kamikaze sat down to get some grilled eel and watch her work.

"So…this will help you sit still?" Kamikaze grinned.

"You should know me by now," Tacki said and stuck out her tongue at him before arranging different fabrics into place. Then Fumio hopped over to give her a box of rhinestones to work with. "Oh! Cool! I think I have enough to make a new set of fans! I can use some of my left over feathers!"

"Nice," Kamikaze nodded and started to eat his small mountain of grilled eel. He looked up when Mumen Rider came in to sit down and get a meal.

"The place looks great! I got the message, too. This is a pretty big deal, eh?" Mumen Rider frowned.

"It is," Inichi nodded from where he hovered with Fubuki. "It deals with Lady Mitsumi's oldest brother. He's…on his way here."

"And I'm back now," Sweet Mask said and made his way to sit down. Then he blinked when a line of fans appeared for his autograph. "Very well…"

"I'm hungry," Mitsumi sighed. Then she blinked at the plate of de-boned Peking duck that Orotsu delivered from the trap door. "Ah!"

"Good," Saitama nodded and paused at the sight of several rice balls with strawberry centers. "I can eat!"

"Here!" Fumio said and delivered drinks to them. They looked over when Metal Bat and Zenko showed up to get seated and served next.

"Well! Who are you?" Metal Bat asked Kamiko.

"I'm the lizard girl. I got cured," she chuckled and gestured to the photos.

"And she's not single," Genos said mildly from where he stood next to her. Metal Bat's jaw dropped. Then he saw Tacki working hard and recognized the peacock feathers. Kamikaze saw him checking out his girl and was quick to move her into his lap.

"Huh?" Tacki blinked.

"Stay here," Kamikaze muttered and ran a hand over her arm.

"I'm so waiting for him to start flipping off people," Zenchu smirked. Then Kamikaze flipped off Zenchu to get the monster laughing hard.

"Isn't that professional?" Bane mused and signed more autographs.

"I don't mind flipping off monsters," Kamikaze grinned a touch ruefully. Sweet Mask glanced over and hid his face in the palm of his hand to hide his small laugh. Then he cleared his throat and accepted his sautéed Wagyu beef and vegetables. It was ten minutes later when the black haired man walked in. He was wearing a crisp white button down long-sleeved shirt, black dress pants and dress shoes. His hair was styled neatly and tied back in a short ponytail. He took off his sunglasses to reveal dark brown eyes.

"Mitsumi…" he said lightly. He was trembling now. Then he got on his knees prostrate before her to bow with complete respect with his face to the floor. "I'm so sorry…!"

Mitsumi blinked at this and looked at Saitama. He looked back at her and put a finger to her mouth. She nodded. Now Saitama looked at the man. "You put her through hell. You know that."

"I do!" the man admitted. "Mother…she lied to me…to all of us…"

"Atsuko knew," Sweet Mask said.

"Those two are two peas in a pod! But the rest of us…we didn't know shit," the man grimaced. "I should have done something! I should have! And with the phone call earlier…"

"Yeah. What happened, Daiki?" Saitama asked now that he revealed who he was. "What made you come down here to see her?"

"I didn't know…what that guy was doing…" Daiki whispered loudly.

"A truth…!" Inichi said with a touch of surprise. Fubuki's jaw dropped. Even King blinked at this and glanced at Kianna. She was shrugging at this. Kamiko's eyes went wide, but Genos kept her calm. He was silently recording everything for the Hero Association.

"How could you not know?!" Tacki hissed out with anger.

"Easy," Kamikaze said and kept both arms around her. Rendor and Tsuruga were both shocked on this, but they could only watch and bear witness with the rest of the room. Richoo, Fumio and Orotsu was listening in from the kitchen's opened serving window. Inichi was keeping Shenjou informed with mental visions now to ensure that everyone in Mitsumi's small family knew this.

"Mother…she's secretive. Only gives out information that she thinks we need to know. She knew I would have objected. Father…he did…make me promise to protect Mitsumi. To look out for her. I went back on it…because Mother convinced me it wasn't important…" Daiki trembled with sorrow.

"Even with the crappy pet food?!" Zenchu seethed.

"I know. That…was my fault for not stopping it…" Daiki sighed hard and shook his head with complete regret. Sweet Mask was deep in thought on everything he was hearing now.

"For two years, that fucker had her poisoned! Changing her from old to young with that snake on her wrist! You didn't even question it?!" Zenchu continued. When Daiki looked up with shock, Inichi was completely floored.

"You really didn't know anything…did you?!" Inichi gasped out.

"No…" Daiki winced. Now Inichi looked at Saitama to get a nod. The images and visions were now sent to the man on the ground. He saw the snake. Mitsumi's transformations. Ajito's death. The lab. All of it was given over in full within two minutes. He was hyperventilating from the shock of it all. "I…no…!"

"I can't…forgive right now…" Mitsumi said softly and kept her face pressed into Saitama's neck. "I just…I can't…"

"I know…" Daiki nodded. Then he looked at Sweet Mask. "Whatever you want to know. You ask me. I'll be your insider in the family. I'm done with them. They don't know I'm here."

"Reach out to me with thought. I can refer everything to Sweet Mask. No phone calls or tracing will be found," Inichi said. "Also, if it's true that your other kin had no recollection of this…ask them privately of their thoughts."

"I don't know if Himiko would really care. She just follows and does what she's told. Trained that way. And Fumihiro? He's just a moron pretending to act tough. Both are pretty strong in knowing that Mother is always right. She got to them first. Father…tried to tutor me in his footsteps.

"But…after Mitsumi came to us…he said no. Don't learn things this way. He…tried to break things. He made sure to reach out to Mitsumi before Mother did at all times. And with Atsuko? She was already lost to Mother's treachery. But with Mitsumi…he succeeded with her where he failed with me. But Mother! She…how could I not listen to either of them? How could I disobey one and obey the other? After Father…after Mother killed him…it was all her. She…took away the confusion. But she blinded me, too."

"So, you know that Miu killed Etsuji?" Sweet Mask asked very carefully.

"I know she did. I saw her mix in a powder from a plastic bottle with the tea bag being prepared. When she left…I saw it was arsenic powder from the leftover medical bottle. It was labeled," Daiki said with a furious growl. Mitsumi's jaw dropped and she burst into tears at this. Saitama was quick to sit up and comfort her with soft whispers and a tight hug to him.

"We need you protected as a solid witness to this. We can now chase her down with crucial eye-witness testimony," Sweet Mask said. "Does she still have the bottle?!"

"Wait!" Daiki said quickly before Sweet Mask could get his phone. "Don't! Mother…she has been hiring spies. I said she doesn't know that I'm here. I hired a double. A look alike. That one is at the gym. I snuck away to come here. I have to trade places with that one in a specific area. I don't want him to become compromised. If you send me an email requesting to see my script…"

"Hmm. I didn't shred it yet. Okay. We can use that as a way to meet up. If we take notes…that may be how we can get information. Also, we can utilize Inichi with thoughts. I get it now. Head back. Be careful. Think to Inichi the moment you can," Sweet Mask ordered him. "But…again…does she still have the murder weapon? The poison?"

"She does," Daiki nodded. "She keeps it locked up with her at all times. A secret compartment in her purse. There are times she just pats where it is to ensure it is there. Then she says 'Job well done' to herself."

"Okay…" Sweet Mask frowned hard.

"Job well done…?!" Mitsumi found herself seething. "That…fat…disgusting…!"

"Mitsumi?!" Saitama said to have her focus on him. Inichi now paused and looked at her with outrage.

"What is being revealed?" Sweet Mask asked.

"To her…" Mitsumi cringed and shivered with controlled rage. "A job well done meant that she managed to succeed in a plan. Murder. Manipulation. Lies. Theft. If she said that after Father's murder…even on hiding the evidence…then we know she did it. And…Ajito…voiced the same thing around me…"

"It's a code word," Inichi said now.

"What did it mean?" Saitama asked.

"Daiki, did you know that Ajito was known by another name? Does Hatashi Koutetsu ring a bell somewhere?" Inichi asked.

"Yeah. It does. He's…one of Mother's cousins…" Daiki admitted.

"NO!" Mitsumi gaped with complete shock and disgust. "I'm…gonna be sick…!"

"Bucket!" Saitama said quickly. Inichi was quick to deliver it for her to empty the contents of her stomach into it. Kamiko was now quick to rush over to help her. When she was done, Saitama helped her with some water to rinse out her mouth. "I'm here. I'm right here. It's okay…"

"Outrageous!" Inichi hissed out. Everyone in the room was simply speechless on what was being learned.

"I need to take her home," Saitama said. "This is…too much for her."

"I know," Daiki said softly. Fubuki was just shaking with the horror of it all. Tatsumaki was seriously thinking of turning Daiki into a human pretzel with dislocated bones.

"He let her own family…!" Zenchu seethed with rage at it. Inichi had to carefully calm him down, but they all knew why he was so pissed.

"Lady Mitsumi…" Tacki said with intense hurt.

"We'll go with them," Kamikaze said. "Clean all this up."

"Okay. Thanks," she sniffed and let him help her clear the table. Then she turned and pressed into him to get hugged back when her tears started.

"We'll get them. We just need to do it when we know we can," Kamikaze growled. "If we charge over, they'll run."

"They will," Daiki nodded and finally stood up. "I'm so sorry, Mitsumi. I really am. I'll…do everything I can to make it up to you. It's all I can do."

"I'll be the judge of that," Saitama said neutrally. Kamiko took the bucket away and let Saitama lift Mitsumi up in his arms. "Oh. So you know, the fan dancing she learned? Her mentor was a trained assassin of the Wind Crane Clan. Mitsumi is now a hero in S class. She's rank 4 right under me. If she knew she was trained by an assassin at the time all of this was happening…be glad she promised her mentor that she wouldn't hurt anyone."

"Ah…what?!" Daiki gaped. "That's…I mean…"

"Say nothing," Sweet Mask said in warning. "Your family doesn't know."

"Right…" Daiki swallowed now.

"I'm dizzy…" Mitsumi said softly. Saitama stopped walking and looked at Inichi. A bubble was formed around them to quickly take them back home. Zenchu was quick to follow them and now swept up in his own blue bubble to get moved faster. When the three of them were gone, Daiki just sighed and shivered.

"We'll plan a meeting later tonight. Expect a summons from me over your script," Sweet Mask nodded.

"Right," Daiki nodded and now left the restaurant.

"Broths and soft foods," Inichi said to Orotsu. "Lady Mitsumi needs something simple for now. I can deliver it."

"Agreed," Orotsu nodded and got to work. He knew Suiryu was working on Saitama's new training schedule. He was clearly worried over Mitsumi now. He knew everyone was.
