Well, since I made you all wait a very long time in between chapters, here you go! Two chapters in the same week! The rest of Lily's story is mapped out! Hard to believe we are almost to the finish line! (Ok, ok, there is still at least five chapters left!) Thank you to all who have been reviewing. This chapter is up so quickly BECAUSE of you!

I am also thinking about going back to earlier chapters and re-editing them. Trust me, I see the horrid mistakes just like you all do. What do you think? re-editing sound good? Who know, I may even add some more ;)

It has been five days since the Malfoy Christmas party. Christmas has come and gone and I still haven't had a chance to see Malfoy. We had sent each other letters but still haven't find a time to meet. I pulled my sweater over my head and walked down the steps to the kitchen. I froze when I saw Nick's parents sitting at the table with mine.

"Hello," I said grabbing a muffin and putting on my shoes.

"Where are you off to?" My dad asked coming up from their conversation.

"Dad, I told you, Shania and I are going to look at lofts." I informed him after swallowing my bite.

"I thought you were going to wait after the season was over," he told me.

"Why don't you two wait to have this conversation after our company leaves," My mum interjected.

I nodded and took another bite of food. "Bye," I said holding the door handle.

"Wait, Lily, before you leave, could you go out with Nick for supper? He has been bored stiff and we all thought it might be good for someone to show him around, get him out of the house." I turned around to stare at my dad.

What were they trying to do? Set me up when I already had a boyfriend? I smiled; I could tell my mum knew I wasn't happy when I said "Sure. I'll meet him at the Leaky Cauldron at five."

I left before they could say anything else and apperated as soon as I was far enough away.

Shania and I were already through our first three apartments when we reached the one I knew I wanted the most. We walked down the small hall and I noticed a door I knew very well. I knocked on it once before opening it up with my key.

Shania looked at me quizzically when I did but followed me into it. "Is this?"

"Yup."

"And the one we are—"

"Yup."

"Then what are we doing?" She asked as I went to the kitchen and left him a note.

"That," I smiled, walking out the door, locking it. I followed her to the door four doors down and a man with dark jeans and a suit coat standing by the door.

"Hello, I'm Shania and this is Lily," she told him with a smile. "We are here to look at the loft." I nodded, as the man opened the door for us. It was almost the exact layouts of Malfoy's loft, but this one was bigger, a two bedroom loft instead of one. We both walked into the big empty space.

I smiled at her and walked down the hall to the two rooms. We both looked at the first one then after looking at the second I shut the door to give us a minute to talk.

"Well?" I asked opening the closet door.

"Well, it's in our price range and I'm sure you love will love the guy down the hall but." She said shrugging.

I raised my eyebrow. "But what Shay?" I asked her leaning against the wall.

"If something happens with you and Malfoy are we going to have to move? I mean, this place is perfect! Did you see the size of the bathroom? It is so close to the Ministry."

"Then stop denying this place. If something happens between me and Malfoy- and I don't exactly seeing that happen- then I will suffer through it. Please," I said grabbing her hand and pouting. "I will make you and Hugo supper when we first move in and when you want him to stay over I will not say a word."

"Or roll your eyes?"

"Or roll my eyes," I pleaded. Though, that was going to be hard. They were both my best friends, but I did not want to know anything more about their relationship. "And, not that it really matters because you can apperate, but Hugo, Lysander and Lorcan are only a few blocks away."

"Ok, ok, you win. Let's go tell the man. And I get the right side cabinets in the restroom, "she added with a smile.

After we filled out a bunch of paperwork we went out for some shopping; putting things on hold for when we finally moved in. June really couldn't come soon enough. It is strange to think that my life isn't at Hogwarts anymore, that I have really moved on. It still saddened me a little to think that I only had a little time left though. Just a little bit more time to not be a responsible adult, and still avoid detention.

I was sitting in the pub, my back to the door. I had ordered myself a drink since Nick decided that he could be late to our little set up. I rolled my eyes to myself. As I took another drink, Nick sat down opposite of me and smiled. "What?" I asked putting my drink down.

"Is it really that painful to be seen with me?" I knew he was teasing, but it didn't help matters.

"Well, we do play for different teams," I pointed out playing with the rim of my cup. "But I do think we need to clear the air."

"Exactly what I was thinking," Nick said as the waiter came over and took his drink order. "I don't really know how to say this."

"Here let me help," I said snapping back. "I have zero interest in you. Maybe as a friend, but not romantically; I have a boyfriend."

"Fantastic," Nick smiled. I held the urge to roll my eyes again. "No, I'm fine with that. I was thinking you could help me though."

That totally caught me off guard. What help would he want from me? "Go on."

"Well, your dad is Harry Potter," he started. I glared. He was not using me to get close to my dad. No way was that going to happen. Plus his parents were having breakfast with mine this morning! "Your mom is Ginny Potter or Ginny Weasley to us Quidditch players."

I nodded. "Your point?"

"Well, you see, I was with my mom and sister at the ministry when we first got here, and I met someone. She was well, beyond anything I ever thought a girl could be like. She liked Quidditch, but followed your team, not mine. She had no clue who I was. I liked that. I mean, we're both in the same positions. Our parents are powerful people and we play Qudditch. People can tell our faces a mile away."

I nodded again, waiting for him to get to his point.

"Well, she and I got to talking and really hit it off. However, I had to leave, so I didn't really get anything but her name. It took me a minute to figure out who her parents were and I thought that maybe she would be at the lame party I met you at. She wasn't. She was incredibly. So witty and smart, gorgeous. I mean, I have never talked so in depth about charms before."

"Just tell me who it is," I said, trying not to sound annoyed.

"Rose. Rose Weasley. I knew when she said the name; you two must somehow be related. Right?" He asked for clarification as his drink appeared.

"She is my cousin. I'm sure you know about her parents too," I pointed out. I mean, really. The Wizard World knew about our parents.

"Exactly. I have been trying to catch her at the Ministry, but I can't seem to run into her again."

"That's because she is on the Committee on Experimental Charms and works in Improper Use of Magic. You might not be looking in the right place. Oh, and the fact that her family is on vacation in Austria might make it hard to find her."

"You're kidding me right," Nick said letting out a laugh, taking a drink. I laughed too. "I've spent all my time trying to find a girl who isn't in the country."

"Yup, hate to break it to you. Hugo said they would be getting back a three days before the train leaves."

"And that is when exactly? I forget you're still in school," I could hear him tease.

I hit him playfully. "Still Rookie of the Year! They should be back tomorrow, and then we are having our New Year's Party at my Grandparents. She will be there."

"And how exactly do I get there?" Nick asked with a smirk.

"By begging," I said leaning back in my chair.

Nick let out a sigh and leaned on the table. "Lily Potter, the best Chaser in England. Would you please, pretty, pretty please invite me to your family's New Year party." His tone was try, and he was being more sarcastic than I think I could have been.

"Maybe," I smiled. "I mean, your parents are already invited."

He glared. I smirked; I think Malfoy would be proud of the smirk I was giving him. "So, this boyfriend of yours, you love him?"

I raised an eyebrow. Where had that come from? "Very much, why?"

"Blond hair? Really tall?"

"Are you stalking me?" I asked. He pointed behind me and I smiled. How could I not? It was the first time I had seen him since dinner with my parents. I stood up from my chair and wrapped my arms around him.

I felt him pull me into his arms and snog my head. I love the fact that we were standing in public hugging. No more hiding, no more secrets. It is just perfect.

I pulled away from my embrace as Malfoy looked back to Nick. "This is Nick; he has a thing for Rose. The fact that our parents forced us into hanging out is a whole other story. Nick, Scorpius Malfoy."

"Nice to meet you," Nick said with a nod. Malfoy sat down next to me and wrapped his arm around my shoulder. Malfoy was very ridged next to me. "So, do you know Rose?"

"Yes, we were head boy and girl together at school," Malfoy said picking up my drink and taking a sip.

"Right, well, I will see you tomorrow." Nick said finishing his drink.

I nodded my head. "Bye, try not to choke when you see her," I called to him as he went to the bar to pay. He smirked and walked out of the pub.

I looked over to Malfoy who was staring at me like I had two heads. "Yes?" I asked turning to face him, are knees touching.

He leaned down, putting his hand on my neck, pulling me into a snog. I could feel the rush of blood onto my cheeks as I snogged him back; I put my hands on his leg before I pulled away from him. "Sorry I missed Christmas," he whispered, snogging me again quickly.

"It was tedious without you," I told him lacing our hands. I looked at my cup and brought it up, about to take a drink when I noticed people staring at Malfoy and I. I took a drink and smiled. "How about you make it up to me and we get some supper?" I said before snogging him again.

I don't know how long it was before we broke away, but when we did, the whole place was silent. We looked around. Everyone really was staring at us. "You think they don't see two people snogging every day," I said loud enough for people to hear.

Malfoy smiled and took my hand. We got up, paid for my drink, that Malfoy finished, and went into Diagon Alley. There was still snow in the air when we walked on the street, hand in hand. "We finally found a loft for when school is out."

"You mean when you have time to be there between practices, games and all the other publicity stuff they are going to make you do?" I knew I heard some bitterness in his voice, but I ignored it. We only had a little time left before I went back to school again.

"The loft is a few doors down from yours," I added.

"Really?" There is the excitement I wanted! "That is fantastic; I knew frightening off three other people would work."

I let out a laugh and put my head on his shoulder. "I am going to move in a few weeks after we get back. I have camp up north the day after school is out."

"You're parents are fine with that?" He asked as we kept walking in the falling snow.

"They're going to have to be. Speaking of parents; I left your Christmas present in your parent's house." I told him pulling on my hat.

"I know, now it's right next to your present," he told me with smiled. I took a step closer to him.

We walked into a small cozy restaurant right off the main road. When we finally sat down and order our drinks, he pulled out two small presents from his pocket. Pulling out his wand next he brought them back to their normal size. There was the present I left for him, next to what I assume is what he got me.

"You first," I smiled picking up the present and handed it to him. He sighed and took it from me. Tearing off the paper, he opened the red box that his present was in. "I remember you telling me about how you and your parents traveled when you were younger. You said that you would find something that only that country would have. Something original. Well, when I traveled to all of those different countries for Quidditch, I would have some spare time. I went out and found you all of this; items I thought you might think were interesting or valuable to have." He pulled out more things from the box. He was smiling so I hope that was good.

He leaned down and kissed me before whispering, "Thank you. It's perfect."

I couldn't help but smile. I mean, that took me months and loads of hours to make perfect. I kissed him again.

I think we forgot we were in public when someone came to take our order. We pulled apart, I knew I was blushing.

After ordering Malfoy put my present in my hands and looked back up to my eyes. "Go on," he encouraged.

I took a deep breath and started to unwrap it. It was a rectangular black box. I looked up at Malfoy who urged me to keep opening it.

Inside was a small heart on a chain. "I know I can't talk about my work, but this is something I came across." He pulled the necklace out of the box and put it around my neck. "The heart is linked to a human real heart. When you touch it, you will be able to feel the real heart beating against your chest."

"Who's does it copy?" I asked putting my hand on it. It started to glow a light red as I could feel a heartbeat on my chest that wasn't mine.

"Mine," he said putting his hand on mine.

"What happens if it breaks?" I asked.

"I have no idea," Malfoy smiled. "Just don't break it?"

"Can you feel my heartbeat too," I asked staring into his beautiful stormy eyes.

"No, but I know when you are touching it." I lifted my hand off the small heart; it went back to a sliver color.

"I love you," I told him, putting my hand to the necklace without meaning to.

He smiled and took my other hand. "I love you too."

I walked back into the front door of my parent's house to see a light. I followed it into the back room, where my parents like to work from, if they are at home. My dad was sitting in an oversized chair reading a file that I knew I wasn't allowed to know about. I smiled and knocked on the door to get his attention. "Hey Lilybug," My dad smiled as he put down the file, closing it. "Did you two find a loft?"

I know that I'm eighteen, have a steady boyfriend, and a job, but none of that stopped me from sitting in my dad's lap. I put my head on his shoulder as he put his arms around me like I was still a little child. "Yes, right in London, it is a Wizard building and a few blocks away from the Ministry."

"Very good. How was your supper with Nick?"

I shrugged, "We had a drink together. He is infatuated with Rose. Totally using me to get to her," I said a playful manner in my voice.

"Oh, Ron will be thrilled, a foreign Qudditch player trying to whoo his daughter," my dad said in the same manner as my own. "If you just had a drink together, why are you home so late?" I could feel my dad looking down at me.

I pulled away from him and looked into his pale green eyes. I always wished I got my grandmother's eyes. "I had supper with Scorpius. It was a spur of the moment type of thing." I said my hand hovering over the small heart.

"Did you enjoy yourself?"

"Yes," I said smiling. I couldn't help it. "I'm sorry that you hate him."

"I don't hate him Lily." My dad took my hand. "I hate the fact that you lied about something and someone so important to you."

"But you said that he was a Malfoy and that you didn't approve."

"You know how everyone always tells me I was like my dad?" He started. "And I wanted to be like him, I thought that somehow, it would link us together. I wanted to be like my father. The Malfoy family has made a lot of mistakes but they have made some right choices too. I know I over reacted, there is a lot of history it all brought back up. Draco is not his father and I'm sure Scorpius grew up knowing how to be a good person. It is going to take time for all of this to heal."

"Are you going to have a polite conversation with him?" I asked warningly.

"How about this Lilybug, I promise to get to know Scorpius without judging him about who his grandparents are or anyone else related to him, as long as you promise to never keep a big secret about your life from your mother and I."

"And you won't try to get me to date someone else?" I asked.

"When did we try to set you up on a date?" My dad asked giving me a confused look.

"Uh, Nick, really daddy," I said crossing my arms.

"I thought you two would be friends not his parents said he was bored. I am not messing with your love life. I'm lucky to have gotten mine sorted out without being killed." He smiled.

I kissed his cheek, laughed, and cuddled against his chest again. At least now we were getting somewhere.
