Neil sat in his office, CID empty and dark, lights off the only sauce of light coming for a small desk lamp on the DI's desk. He sat looking at his desk his eyes flickered to a framed school photo of Jake, taken last year. He could see his own features in his ever growing son. He then looked down at a small, pass port sized photo in the corner of the framed taken a couple of months ago. They were happy then, they were together but now. Things had changed for everyone at Sun Hill. There was a sad silence over the station these days, ever since, the explotion. The station had been re opened that morning but somehow it didn't feel the same, and some still dough it ever will. As Neil looked at the photo he remembered how happy they used to be, that was before everything went dramatically wrong, not just with him but with Sun Hill. He let out a sigh he'd give anything now to have her back in his arms, to tell her he loved her.

Neil took the small picture in his fingers.
