"How bad was it?" Bobby asked Emma as they sat at the table this morning.

"I drew my gun on Sam. That's how bad it was." Emma replied. "I really thought for a second that he was going to kill Dean."

"Sam would never do that." Bobby retorted.

"You know them better than I do." Emma shrugged. "But for a second there…I really thought that…he…." She exhaled deeply and shook her head. "I don't even know if there's any going back from this. For both of them."

"We have to believe there is." Bobby replied.

"What do we do now?" Emma asked him.

"We find Sam and we bring him back." Bobby answered.

"Dean? Dean?" Bobby called the hunter "You listen to a word I said?"

Emma looked at Dean's back as the latter was looking out of the window. "Yeah, I heard you." He finally said. "I'm not calling him."

Bobby had tried to convince Dean to call Sam, to get him to come back. But Dean has given up; and Emma couldn't blame him. There was no going back to her, both brothers had crossed a line. It was probably too late.

"Don't make me get my gun, boy." Bobby threatened him.

"We are damn near kick-off for Armageddon. Don't you think we got bigger fish at the moment?" Dean retorted.

"I know you're pissed, and I'm not making apologies for what he's done, but he's your…"

"Blood?" Dean cut him off. "He's my blood…is that what you're gonna say?"

"Brother." Emma intervened. "He's your brother and he needs you."

"I tried to help him, Emma. You know I did." Dean told her.

"I know." Emma replied softly. "But this is Sam. Your brother. Maybe—maybe there's still something we can do?"

Dean walked away from the window. "It's too late."

"There's no such thing." Bobby said. It seemed that he was the only one who still had hope.

"No! Damn it!" Dean snapped. "No. We got to face the facts…Sam never wanted part of this family. He hated this life growing up…ran away to Stanford first chance he got." Dean continued. "And now it's like déjà vu all over again." He sat down. "Well, I am sick and tired of chasing him. Screw him. He ca do what he wants."

"You don't mean that." Bobby said.

"Yes, I do, Bobby." Dean looked up at him. "Sam's gone. He's gone." Emma shut her eyes, hearing Dean's pain behind his words. "I'm not even sure if he's still my brother anymore. If he ever was."

Bobby was fuming, he breathed through his nose, angry at Dean's words. Angry that the eldest Winchester was giving up on his little brother. He pushed all the files that were covering his desk on the floor.

"You stupid, stupid son of a bitch!" Emma jumped at his outburst. "Well, boohoo! I am so sorry your feelings are hurt, princess! Are you under the impression that family's supposed to make you feel good—bake you an apple pie, maybe? They're supposed to make you miserable! That's why they're family!" Bobby yelled.

"I told him, 'you walk out that door, don't come back,' and he walked out anyway that was his choice!" Dean yelled back.

"You sound like a whiny brat." Dean scoffed at Bobby's words and walked away from Bobby. "No. You sound like your dad. Well, let me tell you something, your dad was a coward."

"My dad was a lot of things, Bobby, but a coward?" Dean shook his head.

"He'd rather push Sam away than reach out to him." Bobby continued. "Well, that don't strike me as brave. You are a better man than your daddy ever was." Dean scoffed. "So, you do both of us a favor—Don't be him."

Dean turned away from them and towards the window. And he was gone in a blink. A blink was enough. A blink. That's all it took for him to vanish out of thin air.

"What the hell…?" Bobby exclaimed glaring at the spot where Dean used to be.

"Did…he…really…just…?" Emma trailed off.

"Angels…Gotta be." Bobby said as he started moving around the room.

"Why?" Emma asked watching.

"Who the hell knows what those winged sons of bitches have in minds?" Bobby answered.

"What are you doing?" Emma asked Bobby.

"Emma." Emma turned towards the voice only to find Camael standing behind her.

"Get away from him, Emma." Boby growled aiming his shotgun at Camael.

"Bobby, no!" Emma protested standing between him and Camael. "He's on our side."

"I'm on your side. Not theirs." Camael corrected.

"Who the hell is he?" Bobby asked.

"He's my brother. Camael." Emma said looking between the two. "The Rogue Angel."

"Can you ask your trigger-happy fiend to put down his gun?" Camael said scratching his head.

"You're an angel. You shouldn't be afraid of a shotgun." Emma commented before looking at Bobby. "Could you?" Bobby did lower his shotgun but didn't put it away. "I hope you're here for a good reason. We got other stuff to deal with."

"Do you mean Dean and Sam?" Camael retorted.

"Do you know where they are?" Bobby questioned him.

"Dean is safe. He's with Zachariah." Camael answered.

"How can he be safe with Zachariah?" Emma asked him remembering what the angel has done to them last time.

"He won't hurt Dean. They need him." Camael reasoned with her. "No. The one you need to be worried about is Sam. You need to get to him."

"That's what I've been sayin'." Bobby spoke up.

"And you were right." Camael nodded to him. "He's about to break the last seal."

"What?"

"He is going to kill Lilith." Emma said. "That's why he left with Ruby."

"Lilith is the last seal." Camael informed her. "If he kills her, he kills us all."

"Balls." Bobby cursed.

Emma picked up her phone and tried calling Sam. "Come on! Pick up, please." The call went to voicemail. "Damn it, Sam." She hung up. "Do you know where he is?"

"He's tracking Lilith with Ruby." Camael said.

"That doesn't say where he is?" Bobby pointed out.

"But that's how much I know about Sam." Camael answered.

"I thought you angel knew everything." Bobby commented.

"An Angel who is not as powerful as Archangels." Camael said. "Because this is what we're up against."

"So, you can't locate Sam and Dean's been taken by Zachariah." Emma was thinking out loud. "We're at a dead end and seems like no one wants to stop it." Camael remained quiet and Emma knew as she looked at him. She realized what she's been missing since the beginning. "They never wanted to stop it. They did everything so it could happen."

"You're the only one who was truly trying to stop it." Camael explained. "But with your memory loss, it was a hard task. Now, you understand why demons and angels alike were against you."

"They really screwed us up." Bobby said putting his shotgun on his desk.

"How do we find Sam?" Emma asked him.

"I'm gonna need a few hours. And I need you to stay put." Camael said before disappearing.

"Can we trust him?" Bobby asked her.

"I do." Was Emma's only answers.

As they were both waiting for Camael, Emma tried to call Dean and Sam multiple times. Bobby was receiving calls left and right, all of them were about seals being broken all around the world. It was in the late afternoon when Camael made another appearance.

"So?" Emma asked him.

"St Mary's convent." Camael answered.

"A convent?" Bobby questioned. "What the hell is doin' there?"

"I thought you couldn't locate Sam?"

"I can't but that's where Lucifer's cage is located." Camael explained. "And this is the only place from where he can be released. That's where Lilith would be."

"And so, would Sam." Emma concluded. "How did you find that out?"

"Does it really matter?" Camael sighed.

"Yes, it does." Emma asked him. "How can you know this? You're not tied to the angels, neither are you tied to the demons. How can you possibly know all of this?"

"You gave me all the information that I needed to know in order to help you." Camael said. "All those times I couldn't answer your calls, it's because I was looking for him. His location was my priority. It wasn't an easy task. Especially when Angels and Demons tries to kill you."

"And I thought you were making research on a way for me to get my grace back." Emma mumbled.

"We both now where it really is, dear." Camael raised an eyebrow.

"Anyway, how do we proceed?" Emma sighed.

"I'll take you there. You have to stop him." Camael reminded her as he walked over to her. "If you fail, Lucifer will rise."

"No pressure there." Emma shot back sarcastically.

"Emma." Bobby called and threw his shotgun at her. She caught it. "Bring him back."

"I will." She nodded at Bobby. "Alright, let's do this." Camael brought his fingers to Emma's forehead.

She was now standing in front of an abandoned church. She was standing outside of the church, next to an orange mustang. She was alone, Camael did not come with her. It wasn't something he could do. It was too risky for him. Over the centuries, the Angel has made himself an enemy of Heaven and Hell alike. And yet, among those angels and demons, he still had friends. Friends that has developed a certain affection towards humans and some friends as powerful as God.

Emma without wasting anytime moved towards the closed doors of the church. She pushed the doors open but they wouldn't budge. She stepped back and shot through the lock. She kicked them open and stepped into the church. She armed her shotgun and strode through the church at a quick pace. And then she saw him. Or rather his back. She quickened her pace but Ruby was caught a glimpse of her closed the door in her face.

"NO!" She roared as the door were closing on her. She first tried to shoot her way through the door like she did before but this time, he didn't work. "Sam! Don't kill Lilith! Sam!" She yelled through the doors. "Damn it!"

"Red!"

"Dean!" She turned around. "You got out? How?"

"Cas busted me out." Dean answered quickly.

"They're in there." She told him. "I tried to shoot through the door but it won't open. I don't know how to get in."

Dean moved around her and grabbed a candelabra that was standing near a wall. It was long enough for Dean to use it as a battering ram. They had to get in, one way or another. They had to stop Sam at any cost. Lilith couldn't be killed. Not when it meant that Lucifer would be freed.

As she watched Dean ramming the candelabra against the doors, desperately, she felt powerless. How could they stop this from happening? Would they be on time or too late? She couldn't let any of that happen. She didn't remember the promise she made to herself but she knew that she couldn't let this happen. Not after what they did to her.

Before she even knew what she was doing, she roared and threw her hands against the doors. The doors slammed open, surprising Ruby, Sam and even Dean who just stared at Emma in bewilderment. As he did so, he noticed that her eyes were glowing blue before they went back to their usual brown.

"You're too late." Ruby told them.

"I don't care." Dean answered as he stomped towards the demon. Sam held her arms behind her back and Dean stabbed her with her own knife. Killing her.

Emma stared at the blood on the floor, they were too late. A ray of light burst through the floor, right in the middle of the circle of blood. She felt her stomach dropped, as she realized what it meant. Not only it was too late to stop it but…

…Lucifer rises.

I know this is a short chapter but I thought it was fitting, since it's rushed and seemed to happen in a matter of hours.
