Hey everyone! Happy New Year, here is a new chapter! Reviews and follows are love!

"Al, you have about three seconds before I unlock this door, take pictures and send them to the Dailey Prophet and—"

The door opened suddenly as Al walked out with steam rolling in from behind him. "You'll what lil' sis? I can come up with some not so flattering pictures of yourself. Like when you were seven and got wacked over the head from one of the gnomes."

I glared at him. Less than a week living with him and he was already driving me crazy. Not that I was making it easy on him. I have been in and out of the apartment for days still trying to unpack all of my things, while still doing three practices a day now, and while making sure everything was perfect for Hugo and Shaina's wedding. I had less than an hour to be there to help set everything up. Al smiled at me and walked into his room.

"You need a girlfriend," I yelled at him, turning the water back on.

"Why? So you take pictures and show her?" He laughed.

"You aren't the least bit lonely?" I called, pulling my hair out of its ponytail.

"I have you to tease now!" He yelled back to me.

I rolled my eyes and got ready in twenty minutes. Al had gone down to the shop, making sure the workers knew what to do when he was gone. I have to admit, he is really good with the business side of the store as much as he is creating new products. Uncle George has left the shops in Al's and Fred's hands for the last year, letting them call the shots. I think it's because Uncle George sees so much of him and my Uncle Fred in them.

I waited another minute before he came back up the steps in his dress robes all messed up. I laughed and fixed them for him. He still looked like my daddy, his hair long and untamable, with green eyes that had a touch of mystery in them. "You look nice," I told him with a smile.

"You don't look half bad yourself Lils," He smiled, apperating us to the garden area that Hugo and Shaina would be getting married in. I was quickly rushed by Shaina's mother into a room where Shaina was putting the final touches on her hair.

"You look beautiful," I told her, pushing a piece of her honey brown hair back into her hair.

"So do you," She smiled back at me from the mirror. I smiled back, putting a hand on her shoulder. Today, two of my best friends would become one, or rather officially become one. They have been like this for years. "Are you ready to become a part of the Weasley family?"

"Oh, I've been ready," she smiled even more. "Are you ready to become a Malfoy?"

I raised my eyebrow, still looking at her reflection in the mirror. "I've never been asked." I said simply.

"Oh, come off it." She said turning around to face me. "The first words Hugo and I ever said had been about you two hiding your feelings for each other by making the other miserable." I couldn't help it, my mouth dropped. She laughed, "Don't worry, it's what got him to tell me he liked me and that's why he was my partner in class. He asked me out and now here we are. All of us."

"Well, glad I could be of service," I teased. "But today is about you and Hugo and it's my job to make sure everything goes perfect. I'm going to go check, make sure the boys are all dressed in their robes, make sure your little sister isn't making a fuss and make sure the flowers are all ready."

I kissed Shaina on the head then walked out of the room.

Hugo has never looked happier than he did when he saw Shaina walk down the aisle, and he hasn't stopped smiling since. I haven't really had a chance to sit down. Scorpius keeps looking at me and giving me funny faces as he talked with James, Quinn, Victorie, and Teddy. Currently he had my little niece on his lap and seemed to be enjoying himself.

I started to walk there way when the wedding party was called to dance, which meant I would have to dance with Lorcan. Grand. The second I took his hand Scorpius wasn't making funny faces at me anymore, but a cold hard stare.

I turned my attention to Lorcan, letting him put his hand on my waist, the other in his hand. I smiled at him and let him lead me. "You look great. Dark blue suits you."

"Thanks," I said with a small smile as someone came and took a picture of us.

"You've been avoiding me," he said, his voice a whisper.

"What's there to avoid?" I whispered back. "We're just friends."

"If we're just friends, then why is Scorpius sending death glares to my back."

"Maybe it's because you decided it would be wise to kiss me in front of the press while he was in the hospital, lying on his back unable to walk." I hissed.

"Do you really want to be with someone like him?" He asked. "He completely shut you out when you were in the hospital, his family hates you, and you hated him for all of your time together at school. Why would you want to be with someone like that?"

"Why? I should be with you instead?"

"We've known each other all our lives, Lily. We know everything about each other. Our families love both of us. I know you love me, and I love you."

I pulled away from his grasp. I didn't care if the song wasn't over. "I don't love you like I love Scorpius."

"What because I didn't set your homework on fire in our first year?"

"No, because when you had the chance to give us a go, you never did." I hissed, taking a step closer to him as the music finished. "You never fully tried, and now that you are, you're trying to destroy the relationship with one of the most important people in my life."

"What do you really have in common?" Lorcan asked, grabbing my hand. The question took me back a second, and he took his opportunity. "He is a year and a half older than you. Two years older in school. You have no clue what he really does for a living, but the world knows what you do when you wake up in the morning. You come from a massive family, but he has one cousin, who also made your life a living hell in school. Shut you out, and hid your relationship from your families. So, really Lily, what is it that makes you so in love with him?"

"She's my best friend." I heard Scorpius say behind me. "I don't care if everyone in the wizarding world knows that she likes jam on her toast." He took my hand as I put my other hand to the necklace around my neck, feeling Scorpius's heart beat fast against my chest. Not good. "I do care, however, that you think you have any say in my relationship what so ever. You might be one of Lily's best mates for all her life, but I will always see her differently than you. I'm sorry it took you so long to see what was right in front of your eyes all those years."

"Like you can talk," Lorcan scoffed.

"Just because we weren't friends doesn't mean I didn't notice." Scorpius said, glaring.

"Stop it, both of you." I said, seeing eyes on us. "It's Shaina's and Hugo's wedding day and I am not going to spoil this for them." I spun on my heel, Scorpius following me. I know he is, because I know him.

I left the reception room, and went out into the gardens, letting the door shut behind me. I reached the fountain, feeling cold drops of water falling into the chilly May night. I put my hands to one of the lilies that were starting to bud. Scorpius was still behind me. "When did you know?" I whispered, wondering. "When did you know you even liked me?"

"The second I saw your heart break." He told me, putting his hands on my shoulders.

"The day when you sent a note to Lorcan?" I asked confused.

"Yeah, I thought if I did it, it would get you to focus on something else besides you making me miserable. I figured he felt the same about you. When I saw your face when he was kissing someone else, I think I knew then."

"You were laughing and smiling," I said crossing my arms.

"The laughing was from the idiot assuming I had done something. The smile was me imaging you kissing me." He smirked. "I didn't know how to deal with it, so I ignored it, but when you kissed me that first time. I knew I was a goner."

"I did too," I spoke, looking into his grey eyes. Scorpius put his hand in my shoulder, "I love you more I ever thought possible."

"As do I," He told me, kissing my forehead. "But there are two people in there who love you almost as much as I do and it's their wedding day. Go be there."

"Don't leave without saying goodbye." I told him, giving him a kiss.

"Wouldn't dream of it." He smiled, kissing me again. "Just know I hold no promise not to pull my wand out on him if he tries to talk to you again."

"Jealous?" I teased.

"More than I care to admit. Now go." He said, pulling away from me.

I walked back into the room, a smile on my face as Hugo grabbed my hand and pulled me into a dance with him and Shaina. Scorpius was right. This is where I needed to be right now. As Hugo pulled me into a hug, I knew our lives had changed again, but we would change together, and that's all I need.

I was running on about four hours of sleep. After the wedding, we made sure Hugo and Shaina got their portkey on time, and to move all of their presents into their apartment. I got home around three, slept, and then got up for practice. It wasn't exactly my best practice, but with our first game of the new season a day away and it being a World Cup year, I couldn't be playing my worst.

I quickly changed out of my practice uniform and into a nice dress, then flooed to Malfoy Manor. The moment I arrived, I knew something was different. Nothing ever changes at the Malfoy Manor. I looked around my surroundings before walking into the hall, the portraits all staring at me. The pictures were starting to like me more and more. I smiled at one of them who pointed me in the direction to the bar; the one where Scorpius and I stood under the mistletoe.

I turned the corner to see an older woman with light grey hair and a smile plastered on her face. Draco was standing next to her, a smile plastered on his face as well. I took slow steps into the room, but not wanting to interrupt the conversation they were having.

It only took another second for the woman to look at me. She kept her smile as she put out a hand for me. I smiled back and took her hand. She clasped her other hand over mine, then looked to Draco. "She looks like her grandmother." The woman's voice was softer than I was imagining. She tilted her head looking at me closer.

I was startled by her comment. Everyone said I looked like my mum. "You knew my grandmother?" I asked in a squeaky voice.

She nodded her head. "She was three years behind me at Hogwarts. I never paid her much attention, but you look exactly alike, minus your eyes."

I'm not a person who cries often, but tears were coming to my eyes as she released my hand.

"Lily, this is my mother, Narcissa Malfoy." Draco said, taking a drink. "Astoria is making sure supper is ready."

I nodded my head, feeling like an idiot. I had heard stories of Narcissa Malfoy from my father and from Scorpius. It was strange to finally be meeting her. I heard more footsteps coming from the hallway.

"Grandmother," Scorpius's voice came from behind me. She wrapped the woman into a hug.

I really have no clue how to respond. After everything that happened with the Greengrass family, I'm not sure how anyone is going to react.

"I'm sorry I'm late," Scorpius said giving his father a hug before wrapping his arms around me and kissing me on the head. "We had a breakthrough on one of my potions. That's all I can say."

"Good, because I want to hear more about Lily." Narcissa said, walking out of the room and down the hall. All of us followed her; she sort of demanded that without ever having to say anything.

"Me?" I said my voice still small. I looked to Scorpius, who was looking at me like I had two heads. Maybe I did.

"Who else?" She said walking into the dining room, taking her seat as Astoria walked in. "You are in the papers all the time, but they never really tell the truth. How about you tell me how you and Scorpius met?"

My mouth is dropped open, staring at Scorpius who has a smirk on his face. "I—erm…well, we met my first year at Hogwarts. About three months into the year, I got lost with my cousin and friends in the dungeons. We ran into Scorpius and his cousin Declan." When I said his name Narcissa rolled her eyes. "We got into a verbal fight before I sent a hex their way. I got detention for the rest of the week."

"What about your cousin and friends?" She asked.

"I told them to go."

"Then I got in trouble for retaliation," Scorpius said, rolling his eyes.

I shot him a look before Astoria spoke. "I think she knew about you two hating one another, I think she means when you two started your relationship."

As we ate dinner I told the story of how things changed between us, of how we slowly, without really knowing it, fell in love. When we finished Narcissa had a smile on her face.

"Do you love your family?" She asked. I was taken aback by the question. Who doesn't love their family? I looked at her; she was staring at me, waiting for my response. I wonder how much she lost before the wars even begun. I know she is Teddy's great aunt. I know that she saved my father; I know she loved her son more than anything else in the world. I know my father got her husband locked up, but he also kept her son out from a jail cell as well. I don't know what she is thinking. How can I? There was so much bad blood when she was my age.

"More than anything," I told her.

"Good," she said, putting down her fork. "I hope you know that we all feel the same." Scorpius grabbed my hand from under the table and squeezed it gently.

The rest of the night was strange. I really didn't keep up with the conversation. I have so many emotions running through my brain. After the last meeting with Scorpius's grandparents, I was assuming I would be scolded for just having my last name. I guess people keep surprising me.

After another ten minutes, we said our good-byes. Astoria gave me an extra-long hug, and Narcissa even hugged me. I was still shaking my surprise off when Scorpius apperated us to my flat. I opened the door, no Albus.

I sat down on the couch, staring out the window. "You seemed shocked." Scorpius said sitting next to me. I laid my head on his chest as he ran his hands through my hair.

"I am," I said, blinking a few times.

"I'm not. She has always been kind." He told me, placing a kiss on my head.

"Did you know she was going to be there?" I asked him, looking up.

"Not really, my father sent me an owl when I was at work, but other than that no." He told me, his thumb running down my cheek. "When I was born, she made my parents swear to raise me right. She said that the name Malfoy shouldn't be looked down upon and that the world wasn't black and white like she thought it was when my father was born."

"She saved my dad's life," I told him, sitting up, bring my legs up onto the couch.

"I know," He laughed, cupping my face with his warm hand. "Believe it or not, she even likes you."

I know he was teasing me, he had on his smirk. I leaned forward, putting his lips to mine, our heart beating together. He moved his hand down to my shoulders, holding me closer. I could stay like this forever.

He pulled away from me, putting his forehead against mine. "I love you," he whispered.

"I love you too," I told him giving him another kiss, pushing my hands through his hair, feeling are bodies clash with one another. I felt him kissing me back, I pulled my legs over his, wrapping my arms around him. I feel the weight of everything in my life, all my troubles, all of my fears, vanish.
